Hell, even their names compliment given that one has a ""plus"" sign (Jyushi 十四松) and the other a ""minus"" sign (Ichi 一松) which was even brought up in the anime itself as a punchline to a skit. I really wouldn't be surprised if the staff deliberately made them the way they are to compliment each other specifically, given that even their colors are complimentary.

Yet, for all opposite they are, they understand each other the best. Both are strange even for the reputation of the sextuplets. They're the odd ones out who go about life in their own momentum, one fast, one slow, but are so in tune with each other that both are quick to pick up when something may be off with the other; like we see when Jyushi goes out of his way to bring back Ichi's cat friend knowing that that's truly what Ichi wanted even when Ichi tried to deny and pretend he was alright; and are so willing to indulge in the other's weirdness; such as Ichi letting himself be tied up onto Jyushi's bat for baseball practice or taking Jyushi out for walkies in his full fur suit.

Which brings me to my last point...these guys are kinda kinky when it comes to each other. Like even for a gag anime lol. Engaging in public pet play unironically, several times? The well known canon masochist who's into bdsm letting himself be tied up and swung around ""just for fun"" and his little brother who asked him to do it? Engaging in MORE pet play by riding your little brother like a literal horse while he's full ass naked? Yeah....idk man I think there might be something happening between these to y'know."

They simply are most entertaining duo with a fun chemistry, control chaos and unconrolable joy. Even though one the most likely thories is that is Alastor is manipulating her to fulfill his own agenda, there has been many moments when he shown care for Charlie showing he is getting attached even if he wont admit it.

Also is the one who lead the rest of Germa to save Sanji off the island so he can leave safely, Sanji gets distracted by Ichiji saving him and almost gets hit by an enemy. Hand in unlovable hand.

Hey y’all, going back to this ask to add some clarity:

I do not accept video game submissions full stop. I can accept brief mentions, but the focus must be the cartoon. This is the compromise I’ve proposed, and it’s one that I’m not bending on. Please do not debate this with me. I feel I’ve been lenient so far with submissions, and this is something I’m putting my foot down on.

If you want to submit a problematic ship from a video game, migrate to a different blog for that purpose. Or, create your own blog for problematic video game ships! Be the change you want to see and all that. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi there, I have a question about the technicality of one of my ships; The original characters are from a cartoon but the version of them that I ship are from a game that hey are in. They are still them but with slightly different backstories and bacause is a 3d game they are kinda redesigned.

Hm, you're right in that this is a bit of a conundrum for your situation specifically. I don't consider video games to be a cartoon because of its status as interactive media. However, your situation is somewhat similar to the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, as it encompasses a single franchise that includes a ton of cartoons, video games, and even toys featuring the same few characters. So as a result, not much changes between the different medias (Sonic fans, please don't attack me).

For the sake of keeping this blog on theme, I'd prefer having the cartoon version of them be the focus, but you can still mention the video game version if you wish. For example, putting mostly images and lore of the cartoon version while giving the video game version a humble mention (not the main focus). That may make a good compromise. Wow, did I yap a lot. Sorry about that, anon.

TLDR; Although they may be animated, video games are not valid on this blog. They are interactive media, not something that you passively watch. However, you can still mention the video game version of the ship. It just has to not be the main focus.

If there's ever been a time to play that card is nowm; Despite planning to take over the kingdom, Cedric the Sorcerer always ends up caving to Sofia's worries, feelings, and need for keeping her safe. On top of that, despite Cedric often being criticised by others, Sofia is understanding of him and his struggles, allowing him to air his worries around her, and even giving him advice on occasion. Hell, there's a reason why this ship is the most popular of the fandom. Even though the "only canon images" does not help my case", I was pleasantly surprised that 80% of fanfics aged them up.

I just think that the dynamic of them both being the eldest brothers (of 6! like wow, that's a lot of weight on their shoulders) is so fun. That responsibility lies on both their shoulders and they both take on the role of older brother more so than the other 4. We see this a lot in the show where Osomatsu and Karamatsu work together to mitigate conflict between their brothers (like in The Choromatsu Incident) so we have proof that they work together to reel in these 6 idiots. They balance each other out too with their brother-ing style, with Osomatsu being the crude but relaxed and chill one and Karamatsu being the more caring, sensitive, and goofy older brother. Although they're BOTH goofy as hell. It's even shown in that one episode (Karamatsu and Brother) that Karamatsu can't say no to his brothers! He canonically cares for them and I do not care if the fandom runs away with that episode I am bringing it up. And, I really think in The Ichimatsu Incident that Osomatsu was just playing dumb to spare Ichimatsu and Karamatsu the shame. I can't really recall another episode where Osomatsu was being surprisingly thoughtful, but I do know the shitty little NEET had his moments. Osomatsu is also known for being needy with his brothers' attention, such as when he sought them out in The Melancholy of Osomatsu-Kun. This, in combination with Karamatsu's need for his brothers' validation means they can both fufill the other's needs. Karamatsu gives his attention to Osomatsu (something that really isn't that labor intensive in comparison to doing all the chores around the house and then some) and Osomatsu gives validation and recognition to Karamatsu; I headcanon that Osomatsu has a bit of a doting streak that Karamatsu would positively melt in. Kind of like when your dad tries to relate to you by using "hip" slang and fails at using it, but you appreciate it anyways because he tried to understand. An example of this would be how Karamatsu's painfulness is something that Osomatsu tends to take in stride, laughing it off. He even admits that he wanted to try on Karamatsu's outfit. Nevertheless, I just wanna say that this dynamic of them being both the eldest brothers balancing each other out and even embracing the other's peculiarities means that it can translate well to their relationship together. They both can be thick in the head sometimes. But, they can be surprisingly insightful and thoughtful when it matters. (WOW this got super long, sorry to anyone who's reading through this absolute slop)

They just have great chemistry. Himekawa pushes Aqua to bring out his best performances, even indirectly encouraging him to embrace his trauma, rather than try to overcome it, and playing off of the result of the intensity that brings out of Aqua on stage when he outright bites Himekawa's shoulder, unscripted(hot). After this performance, Aqua reveals to Himekawa that he secretly had him DNA tested and they are half siblings. From there, we gradually learn more about Himekawa's past trauma, as Aqua is thrown off of the trail he's been chasing for the person responsible for his own mother's death and is left drifting, feeling directionless. The two of them do gradually, mostly through Himekawa's initiative, begin to form a bond outside of an exclusively professional one. When Aqua learns more about the facts behind their shared parentage, this reveals a lie about Himekawa's parents he'd spent his life unaware of(his mother's unfaithfulness and the true reasons for her taking herself and his father out) that leada to the brothers working together on a film to expose the truth behind a series of crimes involving their biological father. Unfortunately, Aqua can't let go of his drive for revenge(nor has he fully pinned down the precise puppeteer behind his mother's murder), and loses his own life taking his father out with him.

In so doing, he leaves Himekawa the survivor of two loved ones lost to double un-aliving.
