Nearby Bar: (collapses)

Wizard: Ah? Ah.

Artificer: Ah. Yes?

Wizard: Yes, well. Well, where to begin?

Artificer: Ah, where indeed? As I recall, it all began with a wager.

Wizard: Oh, you WOULD say that.

Artificer: Hey, how’s about you fuck yourself with a rake?

Wizard: (pulls a shiv)

Cleric: YOU TWO. SUMMARIZE. (to Paladin) And YOU are hereby authorized to provide encouragement to them in this regard. In nomine patriarchy or whatever.

Paladin: (grins, draws Object-Lessoner: the Cudgel of Morale-Improvement +1, thumps weapon in palm ominously)

Artificer: shit

Wizard: yeah shit okay so we built a machine which, using “science”—

Artificer: Stop saying “science”.

Wizard: So the SCIENCE compresses the blueberries, or “bloobs”—

Artificer: Stop saying ‘bloobs’.

Wizard: —so the BLOOBS are compressed into bananas, or ‘bee-nans’—

Artificer: STOP SAYING ‘BEE-NANS’.

Wizard:

Wizard: Bee-nans.

Artificer: (quick-draws concealed belt-fed automatic rocket-propelled grenade-launcher) With god as my witness, I will kill you and everyone you know—

Rest of the Party: hey

Artificer: —and EVERYONE YOU KNOW if you say ‘bee-nans’ one more MOTHER FUCKING time.

Wizard:

Wizard: (rips off robes, revealing ‘BEE-NANS 4 LIFE’ t-shirt)

Wizard: BEE

Wizard: FUCKING

Wizard: NAN-

Villager: HOORAY! Your magical science-machine which caused several explosions while smooshing blueberries into bananas ALSO inexplicably saved our village!

Town Mayor: Wot-wot! I say I say, three cheers for these brave & valiant heroes!

All Villagers: HIP-HIP-HOORAY!

Paladin:

Cleric: (nods)

Paladin: (moves velvet rope beside time-out chair)

Paladin: My apologies. You two are free to go.

Paladin: I can’t believe you let them go.

Cleric: (takes enormous bong-rip) I can’t believe how goddamn hungover I am, but I suppose we just have to live with the great cosmic mystery that is life.

Paladin:

Paladin: You’re the one who burned down that bar, aren’t you?

Cleric: Our tab there had exceeded the take on our last three dragon-slaying jobs. I did what I had to do.

WHAT IS THIS GAME?

Trump Card is the game of "Lying Liars and the Lies they Lie About." It's for 3-6 players, each game takes 10-15 minutes, and whoever has the most points wins. If you want to play longer, you can play until someone hits 20 points, rather than after 1 game. 

How Does It Play?

The Trump Card deck has 4 suits of Superlative Cards (Commodes, Rallies, Towers, and Walls), each of which has a numerical value (one its value within that suit, one its value in any other suit) and a list of superlatives (Biggest, Shiniest, Tallest, Most Valuable, and so on). Each round, a player claims to have the highest-valued card of a given suit, and everyone follows suit claiming THEY actually have the most valuable card.

WHO MADE THIS?

The creator of the game is RPG "The Gamefather" Owen KC Stephens, who has worked on such games as Star Wars d20, Starfinder, Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, and numerous others.

Trump Card: The Card Game of Lying Liars and the Lies They Lie About

For those who dont know, in order for Backerkit to approve a project, at least 100 persons need to sign up with the pre-campaign before it goes live. This shows there is interest in the project. If the project does not get those 100 preorder backers, the project does not happen!

If you are interested in Owen KC Stephens (Starfinder, Star wars, and numerous other rpgs-fame) new card game, you NEED to sign up to show there is interest. Otherwise, it won't happen.
