Sam-a-lam. the_protagonist. Twenty-something city-dweller that likes sarcasm, digital photography, DC comics, dark roast coffee, cold weather and things in capes. Things you'll see here: my photography, my fanfic, stupid text posts about my day, things that I think are interesting and other people's fan-art. My face sometimes makes an appearance. If you want to know more about me, here are 100 random facts. Or you can always just ask. I also have a cat named Dexter. He's cool. I also keep track of fanart where Tim has a ponytail. Cause I might have a problem. Peace, love and Batman.

"Are the Robins child soldiers" It depends. If the story is super serious and into exploring complex morality and grounded from reality's standards, then yes. If the story is lighthearted, made for children, fluff, etc., then no. If it's somewhere in the middle, it might depend.
If an author wants to write a story seriously delving into the fucked up-ness of children fighting criminals, they can, and if you don't like it, you can read something else.
If an author wants to write a fun story about villains and heroes featuring Robin in a world where that's not an issue, they can, and if you don't like it, you can read something else.
If an author wants to write a serious story but not apply IRL-logic to Robin, they can, and if you don't like it, you can read something else.

I’m midway into season 2 of 911 (yes I am cruising through it bc I struggle with procedurals and cops), and I like it! But I’m nervous because all the favs are coupling off so quick and that always makes me nervous!!

Tiptoes by thirdgleam
Tim Drake & Batfam (platonic) with a heavy focus on Tim & Dick, Tim & Bruce, Tim & Alfred, (and eventually Tim & Jason but we’re at least a dozen chapters from that)
Dimension Travel / time travel!! It’s a fun time! (Mind the tags)

“everyone interprets characters differently” unfortunately so true! thankfully I was blessed with an intense preternatural insight into their core beings (watched and paid attention) and I don’t have to worry
