i'm literally the priest's favorite sacrificial lamb because i am so docile and sweet and i hold very still when they put the rope around my neck and i trot along so happily while they lead me to the altar and they do not even have to tie me down because i lie so very still and only bleat once or twice in my lovely lamb voice and when the knife comes down it cuts through me like butter and i offer no resistance and i bleed so prettily all over my new white wool and my guts all unspool like the most beautiful shining yarn and my eyes are animal and dumb and hold no accusation and every time i die i come right back as another little lamb because the priest loves me so so much and he always chooses me for the sacrifice every time and he always places one hand on my small and twitching nose to calm me while he lifts the knife and he doesn't do it for the other lambs only me because i'm his favorite

People, please be careful. There are also people tracking children and people and putting bids on them based on their profile pictures on whatsapp, tracking and kidnapping them. Especially young children, so please be cautious, especially parents who have their children as their profile pictures.
Please pass this on to everyone so that they are aware of the danger. I don’t how it is all around the world but I know it can’t just be here so please please spread the word. Thank you.

A fic I wrote, heavily inspired by The Song Of Achilles. ✨✨✨
Tumblr media
(Patroclus Centric)
Pairing: Briseis x Patroclus (Slight romance referenced)
(Achilles x Patroclus implied)
Title: He is half the god she should be (“He is more god than I, you know.”)
Summary:
He is my destination. I am the ship. She is my shore.
Warm and safe, always here to secure. Yet, I desire more than the comforts offered, to have a taste at the salty sea of my tears.
To run to him and bask in his glory.
To be holy with him.
To be holy forever.
To steer away from possible, and drench in the possibilities I am undeserving of.
The mast bends under my wake and call. I holler to him, he is beyond my reach. I still sob his name into the hollowed winds round, stomp childishly as if to bring him back.
I come for him, he watches me so. He does not come.
The gods tug him back,
he does not see my tears.
I do not see his.
Yet, she is here to catch me as I fall.

Whelp, finally decided to draw up Mob Freddie! I don't see Freddie being much of a fighter, or anything on that side of work, he's basically a shrimp.
Tumblr media
I settled on Freddie being a cleaner like Poppy, like a little assistant, but he mainly works in the crematorium.
Tumblr media
Little things I changed with to their design: -curved horns -monocle because he can't use his regular glasses -shorter hair -Oleander flowers instead of Daisies
Tumblr media
And some practice sketches of Mob Freddie and some little things he does.

Welcome Home OC idea(might try and draw him later)
Basically there’s this puppet who lives outside of home and the neighborhood. He’s basically the villain named Vile Vert, and he acts as the “antagonist” of the show.
I say antagonist lightly because he’s clumsy and way too incompetent to be considered a threat. He’ll claim to be evil yet at worst he pulls of pranks to mess with the other neighbors. He says he wants to take over the neighborhood, but his only methods of conquest involve either pranking, or scaring everyone to convince them to make him ruler.
But in actuality, he’s a lonely guy that just wants friends and would love to join the neighborhood, but he feels he’s unlovable because he’s never had friends.
So its mostly him trying to sabotage a party, or one of Sally’s plays. Or throw tp at Howdy’s store. Minor problems mostly.
The neighbors don’t really know what to do about Vile Vert. Frank finds him annoying and bothersome. Eddie doesn’t like how Vert makes him drop his letters. Poppy wants to help Vert understand that he’s not alone. Howdy doesn’t want him to keep messing with his store and stealing things. Sally gets annoyed with him sabotaging the plays. Julie wants to play with him. Barnaby thinks a hug could help him. And Wally…we’ll, Wally doesn’t really say much about Vile Vert.
Dispute this, Vile Vert is convinced that he and Wally are bitter rivals. Vert doesn’t like Wally at all, with his perfect attitude and smile. It makes him sick. So Vert often tries to challenge Wally to things to run him out of town. Of course, it never works, and Vert is defeated and runs out of town, swearing revenge on Wally.
That’s all I got for now. I’d imagine Vile Vert being a dark purple muppet, with a overly big top hat, and dressed in dark grey clothes. Let me know what you think.

I love reading, I love the stories and how the character arcs flow, especially when it’s in a lyrical poetry-like format. (Like ‘Circe’ and ‘The Song Of Achilles’ by: Madeline Miller)
Yet, I..really have a hard time comprehending words when I read, like I’ll need to re-read the sentence enough times to engrave it in my brain then go to the next sentence that I only need to read once. It’s exhausting and it really pushes me away from reading. (And was the main reason why I didn’t read throughout most of my early-early childhood; like 5-13)
Now that I know that I most likely have minor Dyslexia (as I’ve taken tests for it by professionals, but cannot be diagnosed for certain.), I now know why it’s be so fucking hard to read and I just wanted to share a little hack that I just used and OH MY GOD it helps so much-
“Reading Outloud”.
And it’s exactly what it sounds like, find a little nook to sit, find something to fidget with and just read outloud to yourself. It work’s ridiculously well for me even if it’s sounds cheesy and hopefully it’s able to help some of you guys as well!
And please don’t beat yourself up if you lose focus in a book or you just don’t understand the plot. There isn’t anything wrong with you and generally happens to the best of us. The best thing to do is to read when you feel like it, not when you force yourself when you’re clearly not in the right headspace!

Sparking Chemistry Between Characters
Subtle Gazes and lingering touches:
The eyes are the windows to the soul, and they can convey volumes of unspoken emotions. Describe those stolen glances, the lingering eye contact, and the way their gazes seem to connect on a deeper level. In addition, small touches like a brush of hands or an accidental bump can create electric moments that hint at an underlying romantic attraction. For example:
"Her heart fluttered as she caught him stealing glances, his eyes softly tracing the curves of her smile. With every accidental touch, their hands lingered, sending a current of warmth through their veins."
/////////
Meaningful Conversations and Shared Secrets:
Deep conversations and intimate confessions can be powerful tools for hinting at romantic feelings. When characters open up to one another, revealing their vulnerabilities and dreams, a bond begins to form. These moments create a sense of emotional intimacy that can lay the groundwork for a blossoming romance. Consider this example:
"Underneath the twinkling stars, they shared secrets that they had never uttered to anyone else. As he listened to her dreams, he realized that he wanted to be a part of them, and a warm smile played on his lips."
/////////
Playful Teasing and Banter:
Ah, the age-old art of witty banter! This lighthearted exchange of playful jabs and teasing remarks can build tension and create a magnetic pull between characters. It allows them to establish a unique connection filled with laughter and friendly competition. Here's an example:
"Their banter was a delightful dance of sharp wit and quick comebacks. Every retort was like a playful spark that kept the fire between them burning bright, a dance they couldn't resist joining every chance they got."
/////////
Unspoken Jealousy and Protective Gestures:
Jealousy can be a potent emotion to hint at unexpressed romantic feelings. When one character starts to feel protective or slightly possessive, it suggests a deeper connection brewing beneath the surface. Show how they react to potential rivals or display signs of concern for each other's well-being. Check out this snippet:
"Her heart skipped a beat as she noticed the subtle tightening of his jawline when he saw her laughing with someone else. His fingers tapped nervously, silently craving her attention, and he couldn't help but step closer, ready to ward off any potential threats."
