Nobody does it better 🦅 I've been diving back into Birds of Prey comics and having a blast with it. @gailsimone brings so much love, life and energy to these characters and, after how much fun I had with interior decor in my last BOP piece, I wanted to push that aspect some more for this one ☺️

Has enough time passed that I can say I still enjoy a few runs that came out during the new 52? Don't get me wrong, this era had many problems, but there were some pretty cool aspects to the stories, characterizations, and even designs I really liked! Do they outweigh the issues, not always, but I think some good came from it.

#SixFanarts challenge made up of characters suggested by my fans on Instagram! It's always gratifying to draw characters I might not usually draw (and I don't even mind how many wanted to see DC characters), so it's nice to stretch my legs and do a fun piece like this between larger projects. That said, larger projects on the way lol and thank you for your continued support 😊

I am so proud to finally share what I've been working on for near 2 months! With the Suicide Squad game coming out so soon, I really wanted to bring my A-game with shading, expression, and design. Adding the recently revealed Ivy (I got as far as beginning on inks when that trailer dropped), I've actually surpassed my previous record of characters in a group shot (previously held by my Batfamily piece from last year, and a Doom Patrol group I drew in 2020). I can't wait to see who else is added to this roster upon release, and next season as well!

Suicide Squad - Meat Grinder (2023)

It should come as no surprise that I'm a big MF DOOM fan, and I love how moody Meat Grinder is. The imagery inspired me, calling the Squad to mind as the threat of death seems to follow them at every turn. With such a range in personalities, you really get a chance to see how they each adapt or flop in every issue. Do y'all prefer team books or solo series?

Give Peace a F*cking Chance (2023) You can't pick up a comic these days without Peacemaker showing up. I've seen people dub the "Dawn of DC" as the "Dawn of Peacemaker". In any case I love pulling from the late 80s, with the Kupperberg era helmet. I wanted to draw a guy that’d talk down to you about the sanctity of peace, then kick your teeth in in the same breath. That's Peacemaker to me.

Across the Spider-Verse Group (2023)

I really don't know if another movie has captured me artistically the same way Across the Spider-Verse has.. just wow. This movie has everything. I had a lot of fun challenging myself to draw each character in different styles, with different brushes, and really let each’s personality come out. I’m just beyond inspired by the movie
