I had commissions closed for a long time because the effort I'd put into customs would throw off my workload too much when I was doing both Schlady and a full time other thing, but now that I'm only working on art I have commissions open again!

A looong time ago I used to offer tiny painted 5x7 sketches for around a quarter of the price of my 8 x 10 paintings. I'll have to look into offering those again... I'll update my pinned post if I do!

New sticker! 🌈🌞 Rainbow Tie Dye Kitty

I've had sketches & files lying around for years of unfinished rainbow cat colorways. When one of my repeat customers requested a rainbow cat sticker in a recent order note, I knew I had to finally make it happen for real. My partner likes to do tie dye as a hobby, so I was definitely inspired by some of the rad shirts he's made for us (including the one in the background). So here's this summer's new colorful kitty! 🌈🌻

Whatever works for you! 💚✌🏻 Part earworm, part 420-friendly, and part... achievement?

On a personal detail, long story short I've been working on my long-neglected physical & mental health, which involves my biggest hurdles of asking for help. My most recent step has been starting the journey of antidepressants medication, which I've always been resistant to trying for whatever reasons/excuses. So for me, "I took the drugs and the drugs are working" is my own little celebration of advocating for myself, on my way to feeling so much better. Maybe this design speaks to you in a similar way.

Coolly flowing somewhere between stars and sea, this ancient space mermaid glows with a bright purring soul.

This canvas was originally intended to become a Colorado landscape. But when a collector swept through the show at Rico's Cafe last week and bought TWO Bridgette paintings (!!), I knew it was time to return to my favorite model. We've got some loose 1989 Little Mermaid vibes here with the yellows of her voice, plus a nod to a favorite painting of mine "Shadow Grin" in colors and pose.
