Something to ponder...

A man was given the power to wish for anything and he would receive it. The only condition being that whatever he wished for came from somewhere else. For example, if he wished for a bike, one in a store would vanish.

One day he wished for a million dollars but got caught. They locked him up and took away his freedom.

So I ask you, why didn't the man just wish himself free?

Run. That's all I could do. I didn't know where to, or what I was running from. All I knew was that I needed to run. Get as far away from the world as I could. Where my silent screams could be heard. Where my bleeding heart showed through my lies and my memory was more than just flashes of nightmare. So I ran.

I went as far as my feet would carry me and then farther. Till I was in the middle of nowhere with no one around. I dropped to my knees. Nonexistent tears fell from my eyes and I turned my head to the sky and Howled. I screamed my sorrows into the silence if the night, never to be heard, lost in the darkness. Trapped deep in my mind.

I just wanted to be free from it all. Free from so-called life. If I just disappeared. Kept going till the edge of the earth, would anyone notice? Would anyone care?
