Human-Cybertronian Biology
Human-Transformer romances have happened in the Transformers franchise.
At least one to my knowledge resulted in a hybrid child. Brawn X Cover Girl
That however has led me to this question:
What must a Human Woman consume to have a healthy Cyber-Human pregnancy?
I know humans consume necessary metals through their diets. But what food or special diet would our hypothetical expecting mother need to keep her and baby healthy?
What metals do humans not consume that Cybertronians must in order to stay healthy?
Please comment below.
Also you’re more than welcome to discuss what the reverse would be:
What does a carrying Cybertronian need to do to keep their half-human baby healthy?

Cyclonus
Considering how he was made, why hasn’t anyone made stories of Cyclonus being the child of:
Skywarp X Bombshell
I seriously would be curious as to how that would happen and how different that Cyclonus would be

100% Yes
Imagine the Autobots getting stuck on a planet that’s actually a Decepticon colony. They get found by a Decepticon but he’s… friendly?!
Kiloton is literally nice and, with his fellow medic Glit, uses his medic skills to help them. When asked why, he explained he didn’t want the Autobots to attack this colony.
Turns out, this is where non-warrior Decepticons live. Basically, Decepticons fall in love and have families. Thing is their non-combat family members are at risk from Decepticon in-fighting. As a compromise, all non-combats live on this colony where absolutely no fighting is allowed by the visiting Decepticon combatants.
Decepticons, as paranoid as they are, keep this colony absolutely hidden.
Aka Optimus and his crew are at risk of being killed rather than potentially leaking the colony’s existence.
Kiloton explains, however, that their deaths would bring Autobot attention and possibly bring the war on the planet. After all non-combats are still war-frames and an Autobot soldier wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.
Kilo also knows how honorable (& high up) Optimus is. He’s hoping Optimus would be willing to have their colony marked as “civilian aka Don’t touch if you don’t want the Decepticons going NUCLEAR” with Autobot High Command. After all, there’s no guarantee that the Autobots won’t uncover it in the future. It’s better to establish rules and safeguards now rather than just hoping it never happens.
Optimus easily agrees.
Unfortunately, they had to hide real quick when a Decepticon ship lands on the colony.
They then get a hidden front row seat to Megatron clasping Kiloton in his arms and pouring sincere affection on to the rather happy medic.
Kiloton but in TFA

Glit & Kiloton are 100% partners.
The Decepticons don’t dare do anything to the best medics they have…. Also Megatron will destroy anyone who hurts Kilo. This protection extends to Glit.
You cannot tell me Ravage & Howlback arent married.

I agree with the “sire” not fitting.
I came up with “Generator” (Gen or Tor for short)
For parents, it can be a variety: Creators, Proto-Batch Initiators (Initiator for short), etc
(If the child is adopted, Imprinter)
Caretaker = parents, older siblings, adult family members, adult community members, teachers, babysitters
Mentors = the old way of fostering where a child is sent to someone knowledgeable in a field to learn from them
House= clan, more common with Nobles
For grandparents: I’m thinking “pre” (Re for short)
Ie Grandma = Re-Ri
Grandpa = Re-Gen or Re-Tor
Children = Batch (siblings, “My Children” = “My Batch”), bitlets, sparklings, younglings (older children/ teens), proto-forms
I havent come up with alts to brother & sister but:
Brother = actual brother, relative close in age, very close friend, comrade
Same with sister
Uncle and Aunt i haven’t figured out yet either. Perhaps “Para” for parallel?
Comments with ideas welcome!!! 🌸
Parental terminology in the TF fandom
Although I may sometimes enjoy some, let's say, reproduction-related kinks, I'm quite picky and vulnerable to cringe when it comes to terminology. Fine, human "mothers" and "fathers" don't work due to them being gender-specific (for most people at least) and carrying too many human cultural implications. I agree.
But dear god, how I detest the "sire" and "carrier" shit. I got kinda used to it, the foreign language effect and emotional distance also help a little. "Carrier" itself seems more or less fine, after all, there are aircraft carriers in navy. But "sire" is my own private source of cringe. Old European nobility and breeding animals. For fuck's sake, man, really?
Why can't it be something cool and fancy? "Input parent" for one who makes the other pregnant? And "storage parent" for one who becomes pregnant? Just anything creative.

Transformers Rarepair:
I personally think Whirl would be an amazing parent. You can’t tell me he’s not gonna get baby fever as soon as he’s in a stable healthy relationship with a Conjux.
Question is, who would fit that role? It had to be someone gentle enough to calm Whirl so no Wreckers.
After speaking with friends, we think this pairing would be good:
Jetfire X Whirl
Let me know what you think in the Comments.

This gave me an idea for TFA:
Ultra Magnus is en route from a peace conference, escorted by Optimus Prime & crew. Unfortunately they get attacked by a one-femme + dog army : Treadshot & Catgut.
As Magnus and Optimus are taking cover from the sharp-shooter assassin, Ultra reveals why he hesitated in battle and is acting weird:
The Decepticon-allied mercenary was his ex-lover.
His VERY bitter ex-lover whom he had personally arrested after finding out whatever crime she was planning on doing.
Extra points if Sentinel is with them and his jaw drops.

A Hidden Story
Notes:
Inspired by The Bot Who Went Through Time by Commoncoral
This can be read as just TFA or a mixed universe.
The Autobots led by Optimus Prime were in a covert Autobot lab where experimentation for an energy source was underway. Due to the dangerous nature of the experiment, a secluded and hidden location was chosen for a lab.
Unfortunately, the Decepticons found the lab and attacked!
During the battle, an explosion occurred.
Waking up, Optimus Prime found himself on a Cybertron of the past. Unfortunately, he was smack-dab in the territory of Tarn. The most dangerous city-state on Cybertron, where crime, corruption, & brutality go hand-in-hand.
Knowing the danger he was in as well as the risks, Optimus opted to disguise himself with a new body and identity: Convoy.
He quickly found work where no one really cared who you were: Mining.
Luckily, he quickly made friends with another miner, Dion. He showed the young Convoy the ropes, and the two quickly became inseparable.
One day, a cave-in occurred. Convoy, furious at the foremen’s disregard for the trapped miners, immediately started the rescue effort. He, Dion, & others managed to save them.
The group was punished with cut pay and overtime for the resulting effect on production. Convoy, for leading it, was put on half-rations.
Later, at his hut in one of the miner camp-towns just outside the Tarn mines, Convoy received visitors. All but one were the mechs his actions saved.
Terminus, unfortunately, could not come with the others due to his damaged legs. Instead, he sent his son, Kilotron.
Kilotron was a gentle and noble soul within an intimidating frame. The mech was often visited by those who wanted him to work as a thug or a gladiator.
But Kilo was uninterested; he wouldn’t risk dying or killing.
After becoming closer with Kilo, Convoy later learned the young miner’s dream: to become a writer. One who could help, not just Tarn, but all of Cybertron to become better.
Something his grandmother, a Tarnian politician, failed to do. This resulted in her becoming a mining prisoner, and her son born in mining.
Over a short period of time, Convoy and Kiltron’s feelings became that of love. At first, Convoy tried to keep it platonic. But he started to lose hope that he’d ever return to his time.
One day, another cave-in occurred. This time, Convoy and Kiltron were trapped alone.
When they dug themselves out, something terrible greeted them. Among the casualties, Dion and Terminus had passed.
Convoy knew then: he or Kilo could die at any time.
That day, Convoy and Kilotron moved in together. In mining culture, they were now Conjux.
Time passed. Kilo moved up the miners’ informal ranks becoming a Head for a large team. Convoy had been reassigned to logistics and was now expecting their first sparkling. The two had become respected figures in their camp-town. They often met with other leaders to better organize the mine work and supply distribution.
One day, however, something terrible happened. The city-state of Vos, eternal arch-rival of Tarn, sent a squadron of bombers to various mining sites on the outskirts of Tarn. The plan was to take the mines for Vos by hitting the headquarters that were always a fair distance from the valuable mines themselves.
Unfortunately, Convoy and Kilo’s camp-town was right next to one of the targets.
Kilotron was still deep in the mines with his team. Convoy was surrounded by flames and panicking miners and civilians. He helped as many as he could escape.
Unfortunately, he himself became trapped. All hope seemed lost.
Then a portal appeared in front of him. Ironhide screamed Optimus’s name. Desperate, Optimus Prime ran through the flames and passed through.
Back in an Autobot lab, surrounded by old familiar faces, Optimus screamed in Ratchet’s familiar arms.
His Conjux was gone. Possibly dead in the attack. If not, he would die by the mines, Tarn’s corruption, the Vos’s attacks, by the Decepticon-Autobot war.
But worse than that, if Kilotron did survive, he’d be completely alone.
And the only thing Optimus had left of his beloved… was the sparkling he carried. The sparkling he would name Windblade.
When Kilotron finally came out of the mines, all he wanted to do was go straight back to Convoy and their unborn sparkling.
When he got out however, he was greeted by a group of miners led by one of the other camp leaders.
What he said caused Kilo to drop his tools and take off running. He ran, and ran, and ran.
Until finally he reached the hill that overlooked his home.
Where a dilapidated but lively camp-town once was, there was only smoking ruin and the smell of ash.
Kilotron let out a ROAR. One of grief… and rage!
That day, Kilotron… the miner… the writer… the mech with a family…
Was dead.
A short time later, Tarn’s infamous gladiator circle was shaken by the criminal lord Cryotek’s newest talent!
Megatronus!

The Ascent of Megatron
The young war-frame Termagax got sentenced to the Tarn mines for her outspokenness against the Tarn government's corruption.
She had her son, Terminus, who met and conjuxed with the kind Kilotron, who acted a healer for the miners.
Terminus, thanks to his mother, is very literate. Kilo's family held on to ancient war-frame traditions and oral stories.
The two decided to name their child Megatronus, after the legendary hero war-frame who, alongside the other legendary heroes, drove out the Quintessons who invaded and dominated their planet.
Megs for short.
Megs, after developing from bitlet to youngling, opted to stay a miner (only other options were demeaning/ dangerous/ unethical). He dreamed of earning enough to become a medic and writer (to pen forgotton war frame traditions)
He was given the assignation D-16 (Block & number available aka dead or quit).
A lot of stuff happened. He eventually decided to take the opportunity of Cryotek, a corrupt businessman who often went to the mines looking for talent for the gladiatorial matches.
His name was shortened to Megatron and he became Tarn's champion and traveled to other city-states for gladiatorial competitions (unlike Tarn, they were sports like rather than brutal)
Megatron, after all the bad things that happened to him & around him, became corrupted. He wanted to rule Cybertron.
He started making his own political party and eventually became a candidate to be the next Prime.
One of the other candidates, Orion Pax, was chosen instead.
Furious, Megatron began his rebellion.

The Lion’s Sin
In the twilight of Cybertron’s Fundamentalist age, two mechs met. After a time, they bonded on Conjux Endurae. Their names were Sideways and Prowl.
Sideways was a covert operative; the closest word in English was “cyber ninja”. His assigned task was fulfilling the orders of the Cybertronian government on a grand scale, both domestic and foreign, by whatever means necessary.
Prowl was an Enforcer, or cop, whose task was to maintain and enforce peace and order among the general population according to the law. Something that was considerably difficult due to the rumbles of opposition against the oft times oppressive Fundamentalist regime.
It did not help that there were different types of political opposition: one of a more civil nature & the other calling for more violent means.
(Prowl was thankful he had a friend in his fellow officer Orion Pax, a rare function re-assignment from a dock worker.)
It eventually got to the point where the violent Decepticons earned the label of terrorists.
Prowl, Orion, Ironhide, & a number of the more civilized Autobots worked in conjunction with the higher ups to combat the Decepticon threat.
One day, however, Sideways was declared missing presumed dead. Prowl was both devastated and furious that his Conjux’s superiors would not go looking for him after they sent him off-world.
Determined, Prowl snuck into his husband’s office in Cyberninja headquarters in order to find where Sideways was sent. However, he discovered something that broke his world.
Hidden in such a way that only someone who knows him as well as Prowl did, was undeniable proof.
Sideways was double-agent and Decepticon spy.
It completely blindsided Prowl… but it also made a terrible kind of sense. Sideways always resented his function: being controlled by others who view him as a tool that should be grateful for an assigned purpose in life.
Sideways had to fight tooth and nail to keep his identity, much less love Prowl and have a family together.
Sideways wanted power and revenge.
Spark-broken by his husband’s betrayal, Prowl gave up looking for him. Out of love for Sideways and fear of retribution on their son and unborn child, Prowl destroyed the evidence.
The only one he told the truth to was Orion.
As civil unrest became war, the Autobots became the officially recognized Cybertronian authority against the tyranny of the Decepticons.
As he climbed up the Autobot ranks, Prowl made a decision that was the only one he could make.
The former Enforcer, now officer, opted to give his children to bots he could trust to be both caregivers and mentors.
Ostaros, still a baby, was given to Kup, an experienced veteran of Cybertron’s last great war. To protect & hide him from any future retribution from Prowl’s enemies, he was renamed Springer by Kup.
The newly born Side Burn, who existence his carrier carefully hid, was given to X, a relative of Prowl’s who also had served in the military.
Giving up his children was the final piece of Prowl’s metamorphosis. Once upon a time, Prowl was a skilled young cop who believed in Justice and Serving the People. A mech who dreamed of a Cybertron that would allow he and his family to travel to other worlds.
Now, Prowl was the right-hand man of Optimus Prime, the military strategist of the Autobots, and a stickler for the rules and regulations of their military.
The warm-hearted mech with a wild streak was buried under the drone-like logic and patience for which he became known. It was not until many years later, during a mission with Ironhide and Silverbolt to rescue and support the Maximals, that his other side was seen.
Little did Prowl know, Sideways had survived his disastrous mission. If by survive, his body was completely ruined and his memories utterly vanished. He was eventually found by a Decepticon scout ship that returned with the barely alive mech to their masters.
The mech with no name eventually rebuilt himself - as Tarantulas, the mad scientist of the Predacons. At times, should his Supreme Lord Megatron require it, Tarantulas dons the identity of Double Face, a con artist and associate of the Decepticons.
Tarantulas never really cared about his missing past. His life is one he made. His only regrets?
The failures from achieving his evil goals. Namely:
- destruction of the Maximals & Autobots
- Decepticon Supremacy
- doing his unethical experiments in peace
- taking over a planet with a consort (preferably Black Arachnia)
During one of their battles with the Maximals, the winning Predacons were surprised by enemy reinforcements. That blasted “hero” Silverbolt came swooping in with two strangers: a Lion-shifter and an Elephant-mech.
After being soundly beaten and driven off by MagnaBoss, the Predacons licked their wounds and swore revenge!
For Tarantulas, however, something tickled at the back of his mind. Something he couldn’t put a claw on…
It wasn’t until reviewing hacked Maximal footage that he realized the “tickling” came from that Lion-shifter, Prowl!
The relaxed way he talked, the wildness just beneath the surface of a logical, patient mind… Prowl was a confident predator whose strategy and ferocity go hand in hand.
Tarantulas, never one to release something that had his attention (whether experiment or prey), dove into his newest project.
The result - the return of his memories.
And a desperate hunger to reclaim what was HIS.
Sometime later, Prowl led a small team to investigate a possible abandoned Decepticon refinery. Their communications were jammed as soon as they entered.
What followed, as described by Sideswipe (one of the few team members who would actually talk about it), was the equivalent of a Halloween horror movie
where the least terrifying part was Prowl as a DAMSEL IN DISTRESS.
Suffice to say, Prowl’s subordinates, coworkers, allies, & few friends were concerned.
The cop car’s Amica on the other hand… well… a furious Ironhide was always scary.
But no one, and I mean absolutely no one, ever wants to exist around an enraged Optimus Prime.

Transformers Ship:
One thing I noticed about the Transformers series and fandom is that sometimes the most randomly paired bots make the best couples, not just because they are gorgeous together but because they somehow FIT.
Like their dynamics match and differ in all the right places. For example: Soundwave x Cosmos, Starscream x Wheeljack, Drift | Deadlock x Ratchet, Brainstorm x Perceptor, etc.
I’ve come up with one pairing that might be a great fit:
Shockwave x Nautica
Let’s face it: Shockwave likes intelligent people and the Marvel version of him LIKED (platonic or romantic) Starscream.
If he is to have a healthy relationship, he needs someone who isn’t subservient obedience or weak. That type of person would just get used by him.
He also needs someone trustworthy (hence why it wouldn’t work with Starscream or most Decepticons).
And for his own sake, he needs someone both intellectual and compassionate enough to teach him the value and necessity of emotions and morals.
And someone who can bring out Shockwave’s already present softer side (in many iterations, Shockwave has a love for his pets / creations).
As for Nautica, she is dense when it comes to romance (just look at the number of femmes and mechs who have a crush on her). Part of it is her focus on projects, enjoying her friendships, etc. But I also think it’s her lack of confidence.
She is still very young and trying to find herself by exploring the worlds outside her birth city-state. She’s learning everyday and enjoying life, bringing sunshine wherever she goes.
In addition to her intelligence, her strength is her compassion and vulnerability. A vulnerability that is backed up by her ability to fight strategically. She also inspires others, friends or comrades.
I like to think of Shockwave becoming interested in her mind. And then her understanding of the world, her behaviors. Then it becomes an obsession. And he is confused because normally when he’s obsessed with something he takes it and puts it in his lab to figure out how it works and how he can use it.
Aside from the fact that the war is over and he can no longer do so without severe repercussions, he doesn’t actually… want to hurt the young femme.
On her part Nautica is a bit dense. She is interested in Shockwave as far as wanting to help him acclimate to the new reality of peace for their species. She also thinks he may be a potential lab buddy like she is with Brainstorm. But somehow, it’s … different.
She doesn’t understand why, and when she tries to ask her amica they get really uncomfortable and evasive.
All she knows is she likes being around Shockwave. He’s a much older tron than her but somehow he’s… childlike. Like a youngling freshly assigned to their mentor, curious and ignorant of the world but wanting to correct that. Sometimes to his own detriment.
He’s also incredibly honest. Shockwave was never one to play niceties when speaking. Many consider him rude or creepy but surprisingly to Nautica it’s… endearing. It makes her trust him and his words. (Which is incredibly strange as she knows he lied before & still does.)
The whole thing is incredibly confusing for the both of them. Thankfully they have projects to direct their focus. The fact that they work together on most of them is inconsequential.
What do you all think of the ship name “OceanWave”?

Quick Question for Transformers Fandom:
Why aren’t there more Megatron X Tidal Wave?
Not only is it canon in the Unicron trilogy, it has a lot of potential.
Can you imagine a giant Decepticon (who probably isn’t that way naturally!) who can’t speak well but has a bit a romantic streak?
A Decepticon who cant convey his/her feelings to their leader (insert whatever reasons for falling in love/ joining decepticons) bc:
A) not his place -> hero worships their leader
B) not confident enough due to their body -> way too big and can’t even speak well _ Megatron deserved better
C) is petrified of earning Megatron’s disgust or disfavor -> most important thing to Tidal Wave is being useful to the embodiment of the Decepticon cause
(Being useful is the reason Tidal Wave has such a huge body_ a secret mobile Decepticon base for Seekers)
So imagine after the war, when Megatron is hell of a lot calmer after losing-dying multiple times
AND Tidal Wave can finally shed their large frame (and put back on if necessary) for a more lithe one so that he/she/they can interact more with Megatron.
And a while later, Magatron and Tidal Wave actually become Conjux.

The Burnt Rose 🥀
Beverly Lewis was a sensible woman.
From a young age, Beverly was an independent person. She didn’t have much growing up. Her widowed mother made ends meet as best she could.
It was unfortunate that by the time Beverly was old enough to truly share the burden, her mother finally joined her late soldier husband.
But Mrs. Lewis raised a sensible young woman.
After taking care of the funeral, Beverly was on her way to Central City. There, she had a job lined up as a secretary in a small company.
Beverly was a sensible woman and that made her a good employee. She was first and foremost focused on the job. She didn’t like chitchatting or gossip in a place of business.
The company, in spite of its success, was small. The rumor mill was not hard to find out about whether or not one wanted to know.
According to the other secretaries, the company was owned by a rather wealthy man. How he got wealthy many disagreed over: he was an investor, the scion of wealthy parents, a made man!
Due to how rarely he came in, the owner’s appearance and character were just as much a mystery: he was handsome young man, a spoiled brat, an old miser, an aloof aristocrat, a wise gentleman, a pot-bellied greasy old man!
The rumors did little to prepare Beverly for when she actually met the elusive Ross Malverk.
One day, a blonde-haired slightly muscular man wearing a nice suit just strolled in to the office, heading for the Vice President’s door.
Beverly, a sensible woman, quickly intervened. At her, “Do you have an appointment?” the young man was stunned. His surprise quickly turned into a polite smile and replied with a no.
“If I may have your name, I can check to see if Mr. Philips has an availability.”
“Sure,” the strange said with a charming smile. “My name is Ross Malverk,” he stated, holding out a hand to shake, “and may I ask for yours, Miss?”
Beverly felt as though her entire face was in flames.
As she soon discovered, Ross Malverk was not only an investor, he was also the owner of several businesses in the city hence how rarely he came to the office. He was very handsome, young, & charming. He was also very forgiving.
Beverley Lewis was a sensible woman. Of course, she noticed how Mr. Malverk’s visits coincided with barely anyone in the office. How he left before any of the junior employees or secretaries came back from their work errands or lunch.
Beverley was also very much aware there was absolutely no photos or anything beyond his name on the company’s ownership papers to show evidence of him having anything to do with the company.
So like clockwork, before Mr. Malverk’s unofficial visit, Beverley discretely gathered the necessary documents for Malverk and Philip’s meeting, tidied up the Vice President’s office, and prepared refreshments before leaving for a quick lunch.
Around the time, Mr Malverk should have left Beverly would return before anyone else and tidy up the refreshments. Sometimes they were touched, sometimes untouched.
One day, Mr. Philips asked to her to stay behind. That day, Beverley was promoted to being Mr. Malverk’s personal secretary.
Being Mr. Malverk’s personal secretary was a great deal more work than being just a company secretary.
Beverly loved it. She loved balancing different projects, being trusted with confidential files, keeping up with various companies in different fields of industry.
She loved getting to know Ross: his intelligence, his ability to not just own but lead several businesses and projects, his dream of making Central City as big a name as those along the Eastern and Western seaboards.
Beverly knew she was in love when Ross revealed his passion project to her: a Central City Museum, one with a dedicated section to the Justice Society of America. The fact that most of the artifacts were related to The Flash was not at all intentional, Ross assured her with a teasing if sheepish grin.
Beverley kissed him.
Beverly Lewis was a woman in love.
Her beau was a charming, humble, and successful man. She never imagined she would have this kind of luck. The only downside was they frequently had to work apart.
Ross was often out of the office due to his numerous obligations. Meanwhile, Beverly had to hold down the fort, dealing with paperwork and visitors. The majority of times, the visitors who came brought issues she could handle herself. At times, though, they were there to meet with Ross personally.
Scheduling them in was relatively easy, although somehow or another, Ross always manages to meet up with them later that same day.
One day, however, Mr. Philips came. He seemed … antsy, almost … scared. Mr. Philips asked to see Ross. After Beverley that he wasn’t in, the greying man simply said he’d wait, immediately sitting on one of the chairs by the door
Beverley Lewis was a sensible woman. She got up and said she was making herself tea and if Mr. Philips would like anything. With a half-hearted smile, the greying man simply said “No thank you.”
After not even 10 minutes, Beverly came to an empty room with Ross’s door slightly open. A strange buzzing sound was in the air. With a strange feeling of foreboding in the air, Beverley slowly pushed the door the rest of the way.
What she saw shattered her world.
There was Ross smiling his kind smile, waving a human heart in his hand. A human heart that was still connected to Mr Philips’s chest.
Somehow, despite the buzzing in her ears, could hear her Ross calmly threatening to go back in time to kill his late mother in the most brutal way possible all while saying to blame her son. He would then make it look like how she died before, peacefully and in her sleep. And the only people who’d know would be him… and Philips.
And if Philips didn’t want that to happen, he should go back to work, fix his screw-up, and then kill himself in front of his family.
At that point, Beverley must have made a sound. Ross looked up fiercely with a ferocious glare only to morph into a look of shock. His hand, having been minutely vibrating this whole time suddenly stopped and CLENCHED. The whole room was splattered with blood. The now dead Philips fell to the floor. The thump echoing through the now quiet room.
Beverley Lewis was a sensible woman.
She knew Ross could not have come into the office so quickly after she left Mr. Philips. The coffee room was right by the elevators.
She knew Ross had strange powers. He literally took out a man heart without making a hole and kept it pumping with his own hand.
She knew Ross meant every word he said to Philips. His eyes said it all.
“I made tea. Do you want any?”
Above all, she knew she couldn’t deal with this the normal way.
If he were just a well-connected, unscrupulous business tycoon who just committed murder, she could go to the police and change her identity afterwards.
Ross was never “just” anything.
Over tea in a pristine office that 3 minutes ago was a crime scene, Ross told her everything.
That his real name was Eobard Thawne, that he was the one-time apprentice of The Flash, that he’d been betrayed by his mentor, & that he’d spent decades planing his revenge not just against Jay Garrick but his entire family.
That he’d already traveled through time and killed Jay Garrick’s wife, had framed Jay for the crime, and is now waiting for when Jay’s son Barry becomes the Flash.
His aliases, his businesses, his museum were a means to an end. Funds for his Speed Force research… and to set the stage of Central City for the war between the Flash and Reverse-Flash.
He even went as far as changing his appearance to match that of adult Barry. All the better to play mind games on the hero.
Beverly Lewis was a sensible woman. She only asked one question: “Was our relationship just a means to keep me loyal?”
Ross, Eobard, was in front of her in a nanosecond.
“Never!” the man practically hissed, “You were never part of the plan. But I-,” and here the man softened, “I couldn’t stay away from you. You… you were just - You! I-I don’t,” and with a groan, the struggling man laid his head down on her lap and loosely held her waist, “Oh Rose, I don’t have the words!”
Beverly calmly looked down at the man. Whenever Ross was going through some struggle however minor, he took this position, calling her by his special name for her, seeking closeness and her more down-to-earth wisdom to solve the issue. The familiarity sharply juxtaposed just how different things now were.
Softly carding her fingers through his hair, Beverly softly answered, “For whatever reason, or perhaps many reasons, you fell in love. You couldn’t help it. That’s like trying to stop the Sun from setting. There are some things that just can’t be controlled or prevented. The only thing you can do is look around, adjust, & make a plan.”
The man looked up… and then smiled in wonder.
“You always know just what to say.”
Beverley just kissed him.
Beverley Lewis was a sensible woman. She knew she couldn’t escape Eobard by normal means.
He quite literally broke the laws of physics everyday.
So she bided her time, keeping an eye and ear out. She didn’t bother trying to stop Eobard from his crimes or persuade him from his deranged ambition.
Men like that were so closely tied to their ambitions, it was the whole reason for their existence. And god help anyone who got in their way. Loved ones included.
So Beverly carried on as always. There were, however, some changes. Ross, as Eobard insisted she call him as her special name for him, put her in charge of the museum. Both as a show of trust and to make sure she wouldn’t see any bloodshed or violence.
It would almost be sweet if he wasn’t a megalomaniac psycho.
The museum was quite the treasure trove. Beyond the would be Flash Mausoleum, there was quite a number of fascinating artifacts.
Each with a story that could potentially lead to more.
Unfortunately, it seems having superheroes in the world doesn’t mean a person will just stumble on a magic item that will solve all their problems. Even if said person was “unofficially”engaged to the fastest psychopath in the world. (They both agreed the wedding should take place AFTER he defeats Flash. Ross didn’t want any paper trails leading back to her; apparently it wasn’t just The Flash they’d need to worry about)
In the meantime, the stories were interesting and perhaps she’d take up archeology if she’d live as long as Ross assured her she would.
Perks of being a speedster’s lover.
But then one day, Beverly discovered something terrifying. Something that almost threw her into complete despair.
Despite their precautions, she was pregnant. And she was no closer to an escape route than she was at the beginning.
The thought of raising an innocent child, her child, around and with a man who kills as easily as he breathes, who delights in mentally torturing others, whose vendetta would always, always, always be more important than even his own family.
Looking down at the museum’s most recent acquisition, Beverly couldn’t help but think of how she’ll have to face Ross when he finally gets back from his lab. (Even with his Speed, it would sometimes take days before he’d come back, either vibrating with excitement or clinging in whiny frustration, always bringing a bouquet of roses with a note attached.)
And then it happened.
The Flame Answered. And her Passion made it possible.
Fiona Webb was a sensible woman.
Even though she wiped or tweaked any memory or trace of her, as well as faking her death, she knew Eobard could stumble upon some information. Some tiny little detail that she didn’t notice while dealing with the main issues.
Just like how she stumbled on his secret.
And so despite changing her appearance, voice, and mannerisms, Fiona knew she’d have to spend the rest of her life looking over her shoulder. Always afraid, always aware. Never truly safe. Never able to make connections for fear of giving Thawne more victims.
Heaven forbid she actually have another relationship. Fiona would be sentencing that poor man to death.
Because of that, Fiona actually considered giving up her baby. That way, Thawne would have a harder time finding the child. And the Flame’s offer of completely forgetting and living in peace was sorely tempting.
But after her daughter almost died from strangulation due to that half-wit doctor’s incompetence, Fiona was quite confident she could keep her child safer than anyone else.
She and Malina will be sensible women, with a burning passion that will make their truest desires reality.
