Ever-Blowing Winds of Time
The Wind continues on- after the World Ends-
The Ever-Blowing tale of a land-
Once prosperous and Vast-
Now lost beneath Sand-
A City lost- had left remnants behind-
Lost in Time and space-
With only dust and Ruins-
To tell the Tales of such a Desolate place-
The Sands of Time-
Dripping down the universal Hourglass-
As towns lay to Waste-
And the men turn to Grass-
Even as the men- the Cities-
Disappear beneath the Sands of Time-
The Ever-Blowing Winds-
Bringing back the Earth to its Prime.

hihihi sorry I’ve been inactive, but school is REALLY being a pain lol. Which inspires todays post!
HOW TO STOP PROCRASTINATING
~ Complete the most important task first - especially if it is due that night, or the next day. Even if it takes a while, get the big part out of the way!
~ Give yourself an award if you can finish your task or homework in a certain amount of time - It is common that most people will work faster, and have a determined mindset knowing they will get something for their hard work.
~ Set a certain time or place to work in - Make some timers for when to start your first task, or the next one.
~ Try to stay off your phone - Although it can be quite hard for most, it is the biggest distraction. Other electronics apply too. (Unless you need your computer for your assignments, of course c:).
~ Avoid multitasking - If doing this, you could possibly switch to the other task, and lose focus on your main task.
~ Get a friend to help you - If you need help, ask for it! It’s better to understand it fully with someone’s help, rather than looking up the answer key.
As always, I love all of you beans!

Antiperfect
If you want to do well in school and have a fun think functional.  This girl in my chem class sat next to me and her notes were gorgeous. Tumblr material. However she failed the class. My notes were “ugly” but they were very informative and functional. I could read them. I ended with an A. Some school tips in regards to organization are
If you know where your stuff its fine. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Notes are better with information instead of better handwriting
at the end of the day no one cares about your handwriting
as long as everything does its job is fine. as long as you can find everything its fine. there is a point where perfectionisim is destructive and counterproductive
If you genuinely like making your notes beautifully then go you do it as much as you want. It can be relaxing af and fun. I am speaking to those who stress about it and feel like they have to do it. I want them to try to challenge that behavior for a little while if they can. You might find yourself with much more time to do things you enjoy!

study tips
set up a good study space! make sure it’s comfortable, but not too distracting. it should make you feel happy and inspired. don’t study on your bed as that tends to make you feel tired.
find the best time for you, whether that’s 6 am or 5 pm, make sure it works well for you.
plan your time, set alarms to remind you to study. make lists about what you’re going to study, and set time limits so you don’t burn yourself out.
study a little everyday. go over a different topic each day and in the end review everything altogether.
pretend you’re teaching the material to someone else. if you can’t successfully explain it, then you should focus on studying that topic.
when reading the textbook, make sure you understand and analyze the material, not just memorize.
when memorizing, read it 5 times, say it 5 times and write it 2 times.
make sure to take breaks. an efficient way is to study for 25 mins, then take a 5 min break after.
always review and revise your notes each week. quiz yourself to make sure you understand everything.
if you don’t understand something always ask for help. you can ask your family, friends or teacher/professor.

2019 was a very eventful year, in both the good, bad, scary, sad, and happy ways. i am learning not to dislike moments in my life, so i do not hate this past year for what it was; rather i really respect 2019 for giving me the opportunity to face all sorts of situations and properly grow. i want to do better, be better, and continue to grow.
