And you know what? You have no idea how mentally and emotionally trying this is. Asking for help isn't easy at all, but when I think that the price will be staying alive, getting our basic needs and rebuilding our lives, it pushes me more and more to do this until we reach our goal.

This is Ola, the older sister who is trying to help her family. For 11 months until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 15 to 20 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking and now we're out of them all. my dear friend @bilal-salah0 has to face ridiculous challenges in transferring funds to his family of 18 people. he cannot transfer the funds from his german bank account directly, but needs to pass them through another country first. this means he is faced with extremely high transfer fees. on top of that, he was the victim of extortion by his exploitative ex-employer/landlord. please help him reach his goal of €110,000 in 10 days so he can help his family survive!

Ethari being in a perpetual state of mourning for the past couple of years is devastating me right now

First he lost his closest friends. People he cared for deeply, enough to take care of their child for them when they had left. Willing to go every extra mile to make her happy.

Then he lost his husband, watching the flower sink knowing that he is gone. And to make matters worse the village he was raised in turning to him telling him he must preform the ritual to never see his daughter again, to banish her for the shame she had brought.

And when she comes home you realize you still love her, your husband is dead because of her choices but she is a child. She is his child. But still he needs to let her go or risk banishment, he has to send her away resigning to possibly never visually see her again.

And he’s been sitting in this grief for years in an empty home.

I can’t wait for him to finally have his family back because he deserves it
