Hi Tumby, it’s been a while. How are you? I’m ok, just been caught up in work, life, and video games recently, so I put down the pen for a bit. Hope you enjoy this silly little doodle. Keep on doin’ your thing, and I’ll see you again soon, I hope.

The mast first split, then struck the prow,

Felled by The Axeman’s fatal blow:

A flash, then thunderous bellow,

His booming ‘Timber!’ said.

We could not last, loud roared the blast,

But land was just ahead.

And now came This, I do not know,

How else it could be told:

A cat, mast-high, came floating by,

A specter, black and gold.

Things are always stormy from time to time, but it is only after rain that the sidewalk gets wet and snails hang out. Here’s to finding the snail in the storm, ya’ll. That’s all I have for now, just keep moovin’ and groovin’.

Now, noticeably sad was Mün.

For it was at this storm’s behest

That the pair met so soon.

The tide would not have helped at all

To free Mün from the sea.

To pair whale shark and cat, it goes

Against nature—heresy.

I recently learned that the software I use saves time-lapses! So, I hereby declare today to be Timelapse Tuesday. Maybe I’ll post another on a future Tuesday. Anyways, here’s one of a comic I posted last week. I hope you find it as fun as I did! Ok, thanks, keep on truckin’.

“A mornin’ drear, I recall clear,

That rain, it did not stop.

Upon the sea—a torrent still—

Our poor ship flipped and flopped.

The Sun did try her best and cleft

A small portal to see.

From there, a shaft of light shone bright

A beaming path to the lee.

Argument

How a Cat, having encountered A Storm, was thrown unto the cold Seas, and how from thence the Cat encountered a Whale Shark; and of the strange pair they make; and in what manner they carried about their Business.

Unsolicited fact about me: I’m weirdly into “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.” Thus, I present to you, “The Rhyme of the Cat and Whale Shark Pair.” I hope to add more and more pages of this until I write a word-for-word adaptation of the acclaimed epic. However, instead of being a tale of salvation and dead birds, my version will instead cover the origin stories for my silly characters. That’s it for now, catch ya later.

There goes a cat and whale shark pair.

A swimming dichotomy.

So bewildered--bewitched--with these two, I

Had to wave them towards me.

This cat, beneath the waves when land

Is surely home to thee.

And hark, a whale-shark boasts this boon,

Thine feline company.

And here they hover, I’m mystified,

I dare not move a gill.

I float here like a minnow, mild,

While the whale shark feasts upon krill.

As the cat climbs on a nearby stone,

I cannot help but query,

And thus they spake on how began

This cat and whale shark pair.

I find myself buried in a shipwreck quite often these days, but sometimes a walk (swim?) is all I needed. Hope you’re doing ok. Stay cool and keep it fresh.
