Off the usual scheduled programs, am I the only one who hates Princess Bubblegum? She acts like she’s a great person but her only leaving a single fire giant when it wasn’t and shouldn’t have been in her control anyways. If anything, she’s the biggest threat to the other kingdoms with all of her experiments and shit. She willing will destroy and put any entire other kingdom in risk on the grounds of protecting her people yet call the others evil when they fight back. She’s a horrible person and a Tyrant.

I ADORE the hc of Regulus chasing James, for one because I love the idea of James being pursued instead of constantly being the one to pursue, and two, I like the idea that going after James was the beginning of Regulus choosing his decisions for himself and choosing to be brave.

I can really imagine Reg being bold and deciding to go after James and James just shoots him down for ages bc when people around him talk about him it's always

'Oh potter is well fit' 'he's so damn hot' 'he's kinda funny but he's also like...the ideal man body-wise' and it all felt so shallow, and he never expected somebody to see him as more than just a body with a nice smile and decent sense of humour

So one day he turns around and begs Reg to tell him why he wants to be with him so bad

And Reg goes 'why do you think? You're everything. You are so extremely careful and kind all the time that it makes everyone else seem lazy and selfish, you do anything to bring up those around you when you don't even need to, you have this admirable sense of justice and almost certainly some kind of anxiety disorder- but that's a whole other conversation. You're pathetically intelligent but somehow nobody cares to point it out, and everything about you is so beautiful.'

And James has never heard that before from anyone other than his parents and his closest friends. Nobody he's ever considered dating has said ANY of that before and he doesn't know what to do with it.

James could feel the bead of sweat making it’s way down his spine, the heat of the stage lights creating a sheen on his sun soaked skin. Even though he couldn’t see past the blinding lights, he could feel the gaze of the hundreds of fans watching, waiting for the next song. He always did a surprise song at the end of the tour, one that he’d release a special EP just for. This song, however, was different. It was a piece of his heart, and his pain.

“I know it’s been a while since we’ve been on tour, the boys and I,” James looked back at Sirius and Remus as they stood behind him, Pete on drums. “It’s been a long time, and we’ve all gone through rough patches, met some ghost along the way that we can’t seem to shake.”

The image of raven curls and stardust eyes flash through his mind’s eye, and James never knew a memory could hurt so much.

“This next song is written about a ghost of mine, you could say.” His voice seemed to crack midway, as if the simple mention of Regulus caused a physical reaction. “This is called Haunted.”

With the last syllable, Peter came in on the drums and James gripped the mic.

“You and I walk a fragile line, I have known it all this time but I never thought I'd live to see it break.” James’ voice rang out over the crowd, all of them soaking in the passion.

“Something's made your eyes go cold,” He gripped the stand tighter, their breakup seemed to be choking him on repeat. “Come on, come on, don't leave me like this, I thought I had you figured out.”

The truth of the lyric never lost it’s impact on James. He really thought he knew everything about Regulus, about his star, but in the end he never seen it coming.

“He will try to take away my pain and he just might make me smile,” Sirius came beside him to sing into the mic with him, they both knew it was about him anyways. “But the whole time I'm wishing he was you instead.”

James took a moment to close his eyes and just feel the music, feeling his pain, wearing it and embracing it in front of hundreds. When his eyes opened again, they collided with stars.

“You're all I wanted. Come on, come on, don't leave me like this, I thought I had you figured out,” James watched as stars cracked and began to spill liquid stardust. All James could do was watch.

“Can’t breathe whenever you’re gone, I can’t turn back now, I’m haunted.”

HC that Sirius takes after his mother in anger and emotions, she seen so much of who she used to be; who she could’ve become, in Sirius that it made her hate him most. Meanwhile, Regulus was always thought to be his father’s son, the perfect heir. Regulus had always been the son to follow the rules, to do what was expected of him. The second son, the second choice. He was the one to rebel in the quiet ways, to hide in the shadows while shedding his skin, just like who his father was. Except, Orion never rebelled, no.

Regulus took after his Uncle Alphard the most. A quiet man who had always been in his sister’s shadow, using it to his advantage. He took after his heart, as well. Like a curse, the second star must fall for the personification of the Sun, only to loose him in the end.
