Fenris and Anders dynamic is best when it's not taken too seriously. It wasn't thought through well at all (something the devs have admitted to) and so building it into an all defining characterization for either of them engenders mischaracterizations. In my headcanon Fenris and Anders use each other as a whipping post to lance their wounds and it's something they'll eventually grow past. I personally like how honest they are with each other sometimes, neither feel like they need to sand down their edges with the other and it can lead to these hauntingly sincere moments.

A romantic relationship between them during DA2's timeline, though, has only two extremes from my interpretation. I could see them sleeping together with no forethought, a release of tension (as Fenris does do with a rival mage Hawke), and then that spiralling into a very tumultuous romance. If I'm remembering right these are characters who say things like 'there's no place you could go where I wouldn't follow' and 'I'll drown the world in blood to keep you safe'. All that intensity turned on each other... They're two sides of the same coin and both sides are blinkered and passionate. At their best they'd join forces and work through their issues to become this badass force of nature with a singular purpose— tearing down systems of oppression together. At their worst they could destroy Thedas and each other. I can appreciate how epic that potential story would be but I can also understand wanting both characters to find more peace than they're likely to find in each other.

No, my DA2 enemies-to-lovers ship is Aveline and Isabela. It wouldn't work and it's not epic but it is hot.

Veah and Cari head canons :]

- when they're old enough to use elytra, Cari and Caspian fly around the Grove with the wind,

- Veah ends up being really protective of Cari after they're born, to the point where if Cari has a nightmare, or cries in the middle of the night, She's running to their crib before Rae or Caspian.

- Rae taught Veah how to hold Cari,

- When they were both babies, Rae would hold Veah and Cari in his arms and carefully dancing around the room singing to them.

- Rae taught Caspian the lullaby Isla used to sing to him, and one night Rae woke up to Caspian holding Cari against his chest and quietly singing to them. (And yes- Rae got up and sang along before the three of them fell back asleep)

- Veah taught Cari the Happy Hare dance- Who then taught Rae, Caspian, Aax and Fenris

- Cari sees Aax as another parent figure, usually using the term "Par" to refer to her. They picked this up from Oscar and Len

- Despite being the quiet one, Cari is a chatterbox with whoever they're most comfortable with. This has ended up with Rae and Cari having a full blown conversation about a random subject, then Ulysses or someone else walks into the room, and Cari stops talking, and ends up whispering in Rae's ear if they have a question. (What no I'm not projecting from when I was a kid nooooo)

- Ocie babysat Veah and Cari *once* (she taught them how to cuss, so when The Dads™ came home, Veah looked at Fenris and said "Aunty Kai taught us the word Shit!!"

- Cari watched Rae sew, embroidered and knit clothes, in a very similar way to how Rae watched Isla teach herself.

- When Veah first saw Cari asleep in their crib, she reached in and gently put her hand on their head

- Athena and Bruin taught Veah and Cari how to make flower crowns, Veah always wears Lilacs while Cari wears Dandelions.

Fenrys Moonbeam x reader

Oh gods I finally wrote something!!!! 🥳 Ugh, it feels so good. You can see the variety of my emotions while writing those headcanons, going from poetic, through obsessed, to being absolutely done, and then to feeling cute. And also great shout out to @juulle987 that gave me some ideas, kept me motivated and entertained today. This post is dedicated to you, baby ❤️ Anyway, I hope you enjoy this 🥰

Even though the smart mouth, charming smile, effortless way of being, or simply the pretty face, might cause various spicy inklings and rumors about the White Wolf's abilities in bedroom, (which, pretty much always are at least partially accurate), there is a lot more than just youngish yearning and playfulness underneath his skin. After all, many might know that the beautiful warrior had his persistent spot in Queen Maeve's bed, only few, however, that he did not cherish this "privilege", as she called it.

There is just… so much darkness in Fenrys' soul, that it is impossible to save any aspect of his life from the pain it brings, especially when the said aspect is directly connected to the source of his trauma. 

So no, Fenrys is not the always horny and kinky sex god we make him out to be. 

Okay he is. 

But at least not at the beginning, or even the halfway of the long journey of trying to overcome the demons that haunt him. 

It's going to take a while for him to open up. To trust you. 

Now, most of sa victims are not fond of touch, which is understandable as it triggers the bad memories. But I do think Fenrys would very much need and crave physical contact with his mate/beloved. Especially the soft and comforting type, the one that resumes him that he is loved and sets his skin on fire at the same time. 

It's just that with Maeve he didn't get to experience the featherlike softness which every lover's fingers should have, nor the addicting feeling of trying to grasp as much of each other as possible. And when he finally does, it's like a painkiller for his soul. 

Believe me when I say that Fenrys cannot get enough of your hands in his hair, chests pressed against each other, legs tangled under the sheets… It's not the verbal yes that he gives you when you take off his shirt, but the way he's pressing his cheek into your palm as you caress his face that keeps you going. He's not good with words. How could he when there's a lump in his throat as emotion overtake his ability to make a sound? So instead he lets his body speak. 

At first the sex is soft and intense, full of small gasps, long kisses and sweet words whispered against each other's skin. It's more about just being close to each other than the actual pleasure; the beautiful feeling of getting lost in each other, feeling of security sugared with the bliss caused and boosted by every stroke against the most intimate parts belonging only to the two of you.

Fenrys is vocal, never even trying to muffle the sounds YOU'RE pulling out of him. It feels so divine, so why would he keep it to himself? 

At first it's low grunts and hisses, slipping out of his mouth mindlessly as you clutch him so tightly and good, slowly turning into moans, each louder than the previous one, more desperate, as he's nearing his release. However, I'm a firm believer that Fenrys is a switch.

So with the right person and after the right amount of time, he would give up the control without any worries. And that's when you meet his absolutely new side.

• Aelin didn’t book a hotel or anywhere to stay, but you’ll be fine because she “knows a guy” literally everywhere you go

• Rowan is riding shotgun at first, but he keeps trying to give Aelin directions with Google Maps so she makes him switch seats with Fenrys

• Fenrys is moved up to shotgun for his superior DJ skills, which even get Manon singing along

• Rowan is frustrated at first that he got moved to the backseat, but eventually gives up and falls asleep for the rest of the ride

• Dorian is watching TikToks on his phone way too loud and showing you all of the funniest ones (he’ll eventually run out of battery and realize he forgot a charger. Manon has one but lies and says she doesn’t so that she doesn’t have to listen to it anymore)

• Aedion starts complaining that snacks aren’t sufficient and we need to stop for real food, and Gavriel agrees

• Manon finds a Waffle House on the route and Aelin agrees to stop there, but Dorian and Lysandra want to go somewhere nicer to eat (they’re overruled)

• Aelin and/or Manon start a fight at Waffle House (but Lysandra is the one who kicks ass)

• You arrive at Aelin’s friend’s house where you are all staying, and it’s way nicer than you all expected

• Lorcan doesn’t trust it and says he won’t stay there, until Elide convinces him it’ll be fine

• It would be the nicest vacation you’d ever been on, and it’s really best if you don't ask Aelin questions about how she pulled it off

Merril has won multiple drinking contests. It’s like alcohol doesn’t affect her

Barkspawn regularly wanders over when the Hawke family aren’t home. He is always met with cheers and many pets. He’s like a bodega cat

Carver keeps making up card games, insists they’re real, and therefore wins every time. He’s almost been banned twice and killed seven times doing this. Hawke and Varric back him up for a share of the loot

Head cannons!

1. I headcannon that ven remembered Icarus a few hours after getting back to the past. And he spend the rest of his life making small little drawings or something for Icarus. Which of course disappeared a few minutes later.

2.Rea knows something is wrong with his memory. He’s aware that something or someone is missing. He’s searches his mind several times looking for it but found nothing. It’s one of his other projects. He’s not yet thought of any connection to his quixis research.

3.Veah talks to Icarus like Icarus talked to Midas with the wall and pond. Though instead of big things they talk through flowers. Small things that are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Veah’s got her own notebook and everything. Wanting to be just like his dad. Rea doesn’t know. Cause Veah like his dad wants to figure it all out before sharing anything.

4. Ocie remembers Ven. The first time she realized the others don’t she tried to tell someone about ven only for Icarus to intervene and tell her to not talk about Ven. Ocie put up a bit of a fight cause to her this was yet another god like person trying to tell her what to do. But eventually Icarus got her to pinky swear she wouldn’t tell anyone.

5. The first time isla met aax she was very curious about him. She wanted to know as much as possible about her sons partner.

Similarly when isla met wolf she asked him a whole bunch of questions as well. Until she learned that fenris was a prince and where he was from. They spend the rest of the day talking about fenris’s family

it's been weeks and i'm still so compelled by the background storyline of hawke going to weisshaupt after here lies the abyss. like. it makes no damn sense. maybe if hawke has a living sibling who is a grey warden, you can twist the logic of it, but i did not have that and also hawke said she wanted to make sure corypheus died and neither staying in the fade NOR going to weisshaupt really accomplishes this goal. like there is NO reason for hawke to be up at weisshaupt, this is not in her lane, this is not her business, her skin is NOT clear, her crops are NOT watered. the wardens are not the responsibility of your Just Some Guy from Kirkwall who has potentially zero connections to the wardens at all except for that one time they super causally tried to use her as a blood sacrifice (maybe she and the first warden can laugh about it some day, but somehow i doubt it!).

BUT. but. the mental imagine of hawke going there and then her sibling (if alive) and her love interest ALSO going there, just to meet up with her, makes it so bonkers funny i don't even care if it doesn't make sense. wtf do you mean hawke family reunion relationship drama in the austere home of the wardens where they all show up and then the entire leadership of the wardens suddenly implodes as civil war breaks out and then their asses get STUCK there. wtf do you mean hawke inadvertently sticks her ass in the middle of yet another civil war while simultaneously having to patch things up with her LI and deal with a sibling dynamic at the same time. hawke can't catch a fucking break istg. it's just her, her sibling, and her LI as their own little three person party while some truly WILD shit goes down and the epilogues are all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ about what happens other than like two lines that put the most insane images into my head. there's a sped-up video of this going down in my mind with the benny hill theme playing in the background. why does varric talk like hawke is still at weisshaupt during trespasser, which takes place two entire years after hawke was meant to go there to give a basic report and then dip. how is this THE most hawke thing to ever happen and we're just. told nothing more about it except that varric got One™️ message from her via an entire smuggling syndicate that essentially says "damn, shits crazy here" and that he assumes hawke will walk away from the building while it's exploding sometime in the near future because apparently the conflict there is not yet resolved. again, this is TWO YEARS LATER. like trespasser is fun and all but truly can we revisit wtf this was all about because WHAT

Probably BioWare wouldn't give me that but I love how many people imagine post Trespasser that Dorian, Zevran, Fenris and Isabela would team up. I heard people frown on Dorian's opinions on elves and slavery, tho he did seem to change his mind after Tevinter Nights (only after that point, he's not going to change overnight).

Zevran did say that "condemning people for what they might do is not right" in Broken Circle (potential dialogue only if PC is evil and Zevran disagrees) that's practically anti-fascism of him (tho Bhelen was an authoritarian, Zevran was only against Harrowmont for practicality because Harrowmont is a lot worse). He and Fenris both have fierce attitude towards slavery. Post Tevinter Nights Dorian would have a lot of discussions with both of them, after he realised they're equals, of course.

Isabela with Zevran or Fenris is an obvious outcome, given that her fling with Zevran and shared history, and her potential partnership with Fenris (on the condition that neither was romanced). She would express her regrets about slavery with Dorian, for sure.

ACOTAR and TOG males in Corsets/Vests (Headcanons)

The High Lords of Prythian + 2 more ACOTAR males and then Rowan and Fenrys from TOG.

I think my self control just went down the hill because now I'm on pinterest looking at men in corsets and imagining which acotar/tog male would wear which. As well as vests (I have an addiction). So far I've come to the following conclusions: (doesn't include cass and az because I literally only see them wearing leathers/more formal leathers, not really a corset/vest. MAYBE az, but only for eris.)

Rhysand:

Would be so good looking in a corset. (However, Lucien, Thesan and Tarquin would be slightly better). However, I have to say that he'd probably be better looking in a vest than a corset 🫣 The purple one would match his eyes and well... his eyes happen to be one of my favorite physical characteristics of him.

THIS male. Oh lordy. He'd ROCK a corset like none other and honestly, he's never going to wear a vest. I don't see him doing it. He'd wear the traditional Day Court robes but then he'd one day just walk out in the gold chains (far right) and everyone would not be able to take their eyes off him. And the gold?? The gold fits too well with his dark skin. I am UNWELL.

I am panting after this male so badly. He would be the best looking in a corset, absolutely no competition. He would have everyone drooling over him and THEN he'd just pop out in a vest and it'd be the same. He looks way too good in either. He looks good in like every court's style too! I just can't with him. I could put him in any of the corsets on this post and he'd look FABULOUS.

Would absolutely have his lover panting after him in either a corset or vest. I like to imagine Dawn Court fashion with like soft yellows and oranges along with creams and browns?? I think that the first corset fits the best into that. But do I really need to say more? With his skin tone (a more asian one, darker. definitely not white at all) he would look HEAVENLY.

Would look best in a vest, BUT if anyone is going to look ANY good in a dark blue/white corset, it's definitely Kallias. Now, the middle one wouldn't be paired with black of course, but he'd look DAMN GOOD in it. Am I going insane? Probably.

This male would canonically wear corsets daily. The vest just doesn't do it for him. Sure, he looks amazing but it's also too warm in Summer to wear it! He'd be wearing the corset with nothing under it (or for court proceedings, a white dress shirt) but literally- he'd look so hot. Thus far, the rankings for corsets are: Lucien, Tarquin, Thesan, Helion and then Rhys. Everyone else is irrelevant.

We are going to skip Beron, I'm sorry. If you can't tell by the number of times I've ruthlessly had Beron killed in my fics, then you should know I hate him.

So, Eris Vanserra, High Lord of the Autumn Court is definitely someone who I'd rather see in a vest. But a corset? If he finds the right one, he'd look damn good. Just like his little brother. Though, I feel like he'd be so tired after ruling Autumn that he'd wear it mostly to help his posture lol

However, when he's not tired and wears a vest, he'd look like a god incarnate and I'd get down on my knees to worship the ground he walks on.

We believe in Tamlin in vests around these parts. (and forgiveness, but that's not what these weird headcanons are about) He'd be drool worthy. His hair?? PERFECT to match the first vest or the corset. I swear, he'd look so good that I'd be panting if he walked by me.

Rowan? Rowan would wear a corset and have Aelin panting after him the entire day and absolutely nobody would be able to focus that day. Like literally, if you even get a glance, your mind is BROKEN. I would personally just get down on my knees and beg. I don't know about you guys, but if I imagine his tattoo as well, it only serves to make it worse. And a vest?? If you imagine the right with the green and then a more silver color... yeah, I think you get the point. Rowan is drool worthy ALWAYS.

Do I really even need to say anything?? DO I? Fenrys. Corset. I am melting. He could fit into so many colors and styles and look amazing? I'm not even going to provide a vest picture because any fancy ones that I look up would automatically look good on him. His onyx dark eyes just make it easier!!

i have hcs abt vaeh and cari! (all when they’re teens. i have so many thoughts abt icarus and cari)

they both get given old clothes from their family (they would’ve asked for them anyways)

vaeh gets a lot from ocie, ari, and momboo

sometimes she gets things from her dads

cari gets so much from caspian (SO MANY RED SHIRTS)

cari would steal the hell out of icarus’s jackets and clothes

vaeh is a strong blend of her dads and their siblings (looks and personality)

cari is so similar to caspian and icarus (personality is more like caspian but looks very close to icarus when they were a teen)

vaeh is very extroverted

cari is an ambivert. they are a listener more than anything

both are very caring but vaeh has more empathy than her younger sibling

cari likes working on mechanical stuff with caspian but loves doing research with rae even more

isla and rae walk in on cari working on potions and think that icarus came home and was being alchemist

vaeh has fenris’ hair type and it gets shoved in a ponytail or bun everyday

cari has cas and ic’s hair type, just longer than both and more layers(v fluffy)
