Armored Knight's biggest problem is their lack of movement means they can't reach other units in time. Movement is a super important stat in Fire Emblem and unlike other stats, like a pegasus knight's defense, move never increases on level up (bar one game) and there's almost only stat up for Move you'd prefer giving to the lord character.

Not helping is that Armored classes do not get any sort of terrain advantages, instead they get terrain disadvantages, like cavaliers, they are unable to cross certain terrain that infantry and mages can cross and get heavy penalties in desert terrain.

The only Fire Emblem game to every try to help them with all these issues is the mobile game where;

Armored units had skills that temporarily gave them extra move.

Cavalry only had 2 more movement than Armors.

Armored Units had terrain advantages instead of disadvantages, allowing them to take shortcuts through tough terrain.

Note these have never been implemented in the main series. I guess Thracia 776 also kinda counts as Generals had ok move in that game, Movement growth existed and dismount existed to prevent cavalry from being available in indoor chapters, but they still had terrain disadvantages.

Hence Armored units are always best in the early to mid game and for a unit in the class to be good, they have to have great base stats at base.

Finally we have Wyvern classes which are Armored Knights with Great move and terrain advantages in exchange for being having slightly less defense and much lower resistance, in other words, Wyverns are armored knights with their biggest weakness instead being a strength!

I like playing very dynamic (or at least as dynamic as you can when your main character never gets a horse) so late stage fire emblem teams always end up with basically All The Cavalry and All The Flying units + some mages and healers - they are so behind in movement that it's honestly such a drag bc by the time they get anywhere they stop being useful, since choke points tend to be only in the starting part of the maps.

Tbf I probably could have used them more in later games, as the maps tend not to be as sprawling as in 9&10 (which are the only before-ds-era FE I ever played) simply because combat simply is not as challenging - i think after you hid mid-game I wasn't ever even in danger of losing a unit except when i got too cocky and overextended (compare that with FE10 where I'm *constantly* having to reload simply for Optimal Strategy Figuring), but I get impatient lmao

I have to say I'm honestly nervous for this part only because once I heard about it (before 5x01 aired), in my mind a possible relocation could happen (for some reason I couldn't get 3x18 out of my head). Even though it wouldn't make any sense at all within the story. I don't know why but my mind always goes to the worst case scenario lol. But now having seen 5x01, my answer is a little more unable to be nailed down to one thing.

I think if GW is in the season until 5x03 then I think it's a very good bet that this breakup will come by then. Especially if he examines just why and when he was triggered to have that panic attack (with or without Buck). I mean that subtle pull back when he sees Ana running over to him:

There is no way this relationship is going to have a happy ending. Even if you took all of the other obvious clues out of it, this by far is a strong indicator that definitely confirms where this relationship is headed. I don't believe Eddie is able to deny it anymore though knowing how stubborn can be, I think he's definitely going to keep trying. But the tie used in this scene was an absolutely important prop. They have him with an open collar but Ana wants him to try a tie, a symbol of tightening, something that can be used to choke someone. (I'm not saying that's all it symbolizes but in this scene, this was its purpose cemented by them having an open collar, Ana wanting him to try one, and her handing him the tie, and then walking away to have the panic attack) To me, it's no surprise that in the panic attack scene, he's holding onto it even as he collapses, as he sees Ana running over, and only drops it near the end of the scene, and he notices himself dropping it.

And then they gave us the contrast scene in the ATC where Chimney immediately snaps him out of it whereas Ana calling Eddie's name several times couldn't do that. Tbf to her, he was already in the throes of the panic attack and he didn't know what it was, he really thought he was having a heart attack, so he probably panicked more. But the show made sure to show us this moment in the ATC and to show us how blurred Eddie's vision was (by showing us shots of Ana being blurred).

And of course we see in that ATC scene two important things: 1) Eddie doesn't hesitate to ask Mike if he's having a panic attack, meaning he's not doing the whole passing judgement thing because it's a man having a panic attack and he thinks men shouldn't or that he even is immune to it. It means his "panic" is related to something else that he's not accepting, which of course connects back to the underlying issue of the scene with the doctor. 2) the hand touch on Buck's shoulder that everyone has been talking about:

There was zero reason for that touch. It wasn't to help Eddie get his balance or because he needed to let Buck know he was there so Buck didn't get up at the same time and they would knock heads together. It wasn't even to reassure Buck or himself. The fact that Ryan did this action with the hand that he would have used had he needed balance is loud and purposeful. We're being shown that the touch absolutely wasn't necessary for any technical reasons. Eddie just did it, possibly not even realizing he did. And as we see, Buck doesn't even react to it. This is how comfortable these two have become with one another, how well they know each other, that a touch to the shoulder like that isn't met with a question or even a quizzical expression. Buck doesn't look back at him to see if he's alright, or if he needs something. He doesn't even lean forward in case Eddie needed to get by him. They just don't even react which absolutely tells the audience this is something normal for them. While also showing us the contrast to the scene with Ana in the store between her and Eddie, and then the scene in the hospital with her and Christopher. Ana is reaching out for them, but they're not reaching back. And Christopher, as we know, is usually synonymous with Eddie. Plus, I also think the fact that Eddie is noticing Mike having a possible heart/panic attack in this moment and him touching Buck in that moment plus Bobby's reaction is no coincidence. Especially since these three heart attacks lead to them seeing Dr. Salazar who effectively busts Eddie's secret in front of Buck without giving details.

So to go back to your question, Nonnie, here's what I think for his big decision that will affect his future:

I think Eddie and Ana are going to go their separate ways; if they weren't, GW would be in the season more and we wouldn't be shown all of the obvious and subtle clues that we've been getting even before 5x01 that this would end in anything other than a breakup. 5x01 cemented what we already knew.

I think Eddie is going to have stop repressing what he's feeling, whether that be about Buck, himself, or both - does that mean we'll see him accepting that he might not be straight and confessing his feelings to Buck? I don't know but considering how long we took to get here, and how Buck doesn't seem to be all that aware of Eddie's feelings (that we've been shown), I just don't see this being rushed like that.

I think Eddie has every capability to still be a firefighter but I do wonder if he will have to deal with the trauma of his being shot in broad daylight when he was supposed to be safe. The scene with Ana may have triggered his panic attack but I'm sure there's a lot more there under the surface (just like his season 3 arc) and there's a reason they mentioned it in the hospital scene. Though I will say that Eddie being triggered by the store clerk calling Ana Christopher's mother while they were suit shopping for the christening which is "the next step" is no surprise to me. Eddie is a guy who doesn't like change. Change that he can't control. Him choosing to move to LA was a change he could control, it was his decision. A relationship moving too fast, being forced to move on (like in 4x06) or let go before he feels he's ready, he's not a fan. 4x03 absolutely showed that. Everyone saw it as comedic, his technophobia, because that's the way the episode played it. But looking deeper, this was absolutely about Eddie's refusal to consider moving on and letting go (more specifically of Buck and the Buckley-Diaz family dynamic). That truck scene in 4x06 was him letting Buck go, thanking him for being there when he and Christopher needed him. And this is after Bobby gently pushes him to move on. In 4x03, Eddie thought he had wanted a new coffee maker, he was considering it, until Hildy (aka the future) spooked him. Which he then goes throughout the house to remove all technological devices and tells Christopher that they're going without the internet for a while. (and it's no coincidence that Buck sent him the new coffeemaker as a prank that he and Christopher concocted btw, had it been a regular coffee maker I almost wonder what his reaction would have been then) And then in 4x06, Ana has burned her arm by spilling coffee on herself which Eddie tends to, and neither she nor Eddie want coffee that episode. While Buck burns his tongue on the last of the coffee. So my very long point is Eddie, who doesn't like change that he can't control, tends to dig his feet in and resists until someone pushes him (like Bobby). (for example that whole scene with Bobby, Eddie is definitely getting emotional for three reasons: 1) he's not ready to move on; 2) the loss of Shannon and the family that would have been had he been able to keep her from leaving the first time; 3) an unspecified factor that he doesn't give name to but it mirrors the hospital scene in 5x01 so it's a pretty good guess as to who it's about) I don't see Eddie giving up his firefighting career (it would take another big extreme event, like something happening to Christopher, Buck, or Bobby, to cause that I think) and not letting anyone or anything push him out of it.

Relocating elsewhere - this to me is also something that a big event would have to cause. I don't see him moving anywhere that isn't LA. I still keep coming back to that 2x18 scene where he dug in his heels at Helena and Ramon's badgering: "I chose this life for a reason" and "I won't uproot him again". So I'm thinking now that this is very low on the list of possibilities. (don't ask me why my mind went there first, it hates me sometimes lol)

So now having gone over all those possibilities, here are more thoughts I have on it:

I think he and Ana are going to end very soon and when it does, I think this is going to bring on a whole world of revelations for him. I can't predict the Buck factor, if Buck will find out about his feelings, if he will react once he does, etc. I feel like that's too close to call right now (though no one can tell me that boy doesn't also have feelings for Eddie, I just think he hasn't realized them yet, that we know of). But Eddie, looking back at his season 3 arc, I think realization is in store for him. I think he absolutely knows how he feels about Buck but he's not making a move. I think he was very close to making that move in 3x13 & 3x16 (when he asked Buck out for all intents and purposes) but Abby came back in 3x18 and then Ana resurfaced in 4x06 and Eddie (aka Brian the fake firefighter) is still doing what he thinks he should be doing (thanks to Bobby's convo about moving on and him not saying anything when Eddie mentions her name). It's no coincidence that Bobby speaks in the pool table scene in 5x01, telling Eddie that he and Chris will have a great time at the christening and Eddie's defensiveness evaporates. He's doing what he thinks his captain and semi-father figure, this man he respects greatly, wants him to be doing. He's swinging for his own version of "Athena and the kids" and being "happy".

So when this world of revelations happen, I think things ending with Ana will have to happen with it, in order for the event to be truly impactful for Eddie's character. Because 5x01 was all about "heart" and the number 3, and the suit store scene purposely started out with him and Ana looking into the mirror while Chris was elsewhere, and Carla and Abuela, and even Buck, aren't around to interfere. Because this is Eddie figuring out his heart, which is exactly iirc what Tim said he wanted Eddie to do. So when he figures out what he wants and ends things with Ana, I do see it being this important enough event not just for his characterization but also to "affect his future". Christopher doesn't need a mother figure. Shannon cannot be replaced and Carla is there to help with whatever Christopher and Eddie need (as we see in that scene where she reads the story to Eddie and Christopher as they fall asleep in season 4). If Ana doesn't work as a romantic partner (which just gonna mention "I'm just a friend") to Eddie then there's truly no place for her in the dynamic Eddie is looking for. And once it doesn't work, Eddie will have to examine exactly why it's not working, why it didn't work with Shannon, and why it only seems to work for him and Christopher when it comes to one other person. So that's what I'm hoping it is and nothing bad, like say his health or career wise. I'm hoping the "difficult choice" is in reference to him needing to let go of this idea of family that he has had in his head before season 3, that he feels Bobby and others expect of him, that he feels is best for Christopher (aka following Christopher's heart), and by letting go of Ana, this idea will also have to be let go of, too.

And if we look back at Eddie's journey, I think that will give us some clues. He posed the question to Buck in 2x10 (and the question was posed to the narrative in season 2 when Shannon was back) if he would let Shannon back into Christopher's life, would it be for Christopher or for him. We found out by the end of season 2 that he would be doing it for both of them because he did love Shannon and wanted all 3 of them to be a complete family again. Then this question was posed again in season 4 with Ana, and even though he hasn't technically answered it yet, we see differences from season 2 to season 4 (and now 5) from his relationship with Shannon compared to his relationship with Ana that are leaning us closer to the answer of there's no love there for Ana and it's all about Christopher. This season 5 arc that he's started is already starting to resemble his season 3 arc and we know how season 3 ended:

So I'm really hoping this decision he makes just gets us that much closer to what Eddie needs to help him get unstuck once again, and onto the right path for his character. And I'm hoping we'll also get that much closer to Buddie. The Buckley-Diaz family unit has already been cemented by the legal guardian reveal, and Buck and Christopher's relationship. Now it's time for Eddie to figure out his own relationship with Buck, what he needs to do for himself where Buck is concerned, since Buck is already now a permanent fixture in Christopher's life. If he got together with Buck, it wouldn't be for Christopher. The writers literally came up behind all of that and left Eddie no room for anymore doubt should he make that decision.

So, I'm really hoping that's it and nothing else.

Hi, (long ask sorry but) last time I sent an ask was talking about my reaction to watching ep 37. And some point between then and the end of Mianitian Isles I managed to watch ep 38 before the Finale ripped away whatever feeble shreds of enjoyment I had scavanged from this dying series. However, it's been just under four months since ep 37, and just under two months since the finale, and thanks to a few posts I've spotted of yours on my dash, I've finally continued Mianitian Isles because tbf I just want to see all the fun moments of Jordan, Tom, and Karl messing about and having fun/being friends and then scavange whatever decent lore I can from the series. (Also I want to finally see all the Mianitian Isles lore you kept mentioning last I visited your blog, namely the darkness gifts and the mirror realm)

And today I watched ep 39, 40, 41, and 42. And the mirror realm was so cool! I'm bias but I find it funny that the parkour to their temples matched their skills and the darkness smoke was so cool! Also Karl messing up multiple times and accidentally joining the darkness and then inadvertently infects Mianite with the darkness (poor Jordan ending up getting targeted by him though). Also it's cool they're bringing back the tank of Judgement but making it way cooler whilst mimicking the original one as well! (And the obsidian glowstone tree call back was nice) but also I very much learnt my lesson to not check the comments because hhhh 50% or so kept complaining about Jordan, Tom, and Karl missing lore (and were obviously choking on the boots of the bts from all that bootlicking) but as a watcher, I gotta say it really wasn't that clear the lore in mirror realm, especially on their mirror islands (plus the streamers had no idea what was going on and admitted to needing someone to break down the lore of that ep to them. If the streamers had no idea what's going one then the BTS should've changed things after this point, in the ideal world.

Anyway sorry I didn't mean to roll into a rant there but also in loving the "childish" teasing and rivalry from Tom and Jordan both being ianitees and how they teamed up in ep 40 upon realising Karl was the one with Darkness. (And how Tom kept complimenting Jordan's island improvements).

Just the boys! Them having fun and messing about is 100% the best part of Mianitian Isles and it kinda sucks seeing the before it all got too bad, knowing how this series ends, but I'm going to take whatever scraps of joy and entertainment I can get from the three of them playing together, and the lore I cherry pick.

So uh again sorry for how long and a mess this ask is but y'know thanks again for rekindling my enjoyment of the good parts of Mianite/Mianitian Isles.

Yo guess who replayed all the mainline Windows Touhou games to see if their opinions had changed/evolved

To begin with, I should say that all my opinions are extremely subjective and more based on vibes than anything else. With that said, the things I usually look for in these games are the following, in no particular order:

Characters/Story

Atmosphere/Seasonal rep/Sense of identity

Music

Gameplay (less scoring and more things like general difficulty level, resources, gimmicks, the aesthetic beauty of the patterns etc.)

Even then, a game can be great in three of these departments and still be something I don’t really enjoy playing (*coughs* LoLK *coughs*), and a game that only really hits the jackpot in one can still be precious to me.

EoSD (Normal, ReimuA, 1cc just barely)

I'm always surprised by how much this resembles Mystic Square, but hey I'm on the record as someone who really likes MS. I recalled the patterns being both denser and faster than they really were, but tbf I played Crimzon Clover like an hour before I played EoSD so that may have influenced my judgement. I don't play this one much, but I'm not gonna front: I really enjoyed my playthrough and the soundtrack is a classic.

PCB (Hard, ReimuA, choked with 25 seconds on the final timer lol)

When I list my favourite games of all time, PCB is the one which gets to represent Touhou as a whole. And yup, I still love everything about this game (except Charming Domination Who Done it? whoops). For a while, I thought I had finally gotten sick of playing it, but turns out I was only bored because I was playing it on Normal for some stupid reason even though I have already 1cc'd it on Hard. Beautiful and atmospheric and great fun.

IN (Normal, Border Team, guess)

Hard Mode actually kicks my ass in this one lmao. Stage 4 Powerful is still one of the most fun stages in the series, and the Extra Stage is a personal favourite (yes, even with Fujiyama Volcano). In general, it basically does everything right. Even then, it's not usually the first game that comes to mind when I think of my favourites, but I have a great deal of respect for it.

PoFV (Easy, Reimu [usually Normal + Yuuka but meh])

I... don't actually like playing this one that much? In fact, if I have to play a Phantasmagoria game for fun I'm probably going to pick PoDD. With that said, the story, characters, the atmosphere and music in the later stages, and all the additional fluff are so much my jam that I still cherish this game deeply.

MoF (Normal, ReimuA, 1cc)

For all that this game has a reputation for being easy, I have a terrible track record actually beating it (in fact, my previous clear was from 2015, which... wow.) However, by utilising such cunning strategies as "actually looking at the screen" and "using bombs sometimes" I made it through with just two misses. This game captures autumn the same way PCB captures winter a.k.a. really well, and in general has a unique beauty to it.

SA (Normal, Reimu + Yukari, Utsuho blasted me into outer space)

Love the atmosphere, love the soundtrack, love the characters and especially how well the spell cards in this game support characterisation. Punishes mistakes harshly and doesn't offer that many resources, which means I stink at it lol. Still a personal fave.

UFO (Normal, SanaeB, choked on the final card)

Similar to SA except not as much my cup of tea. I really like the characters and think that the soundtrack may even be slightly underrated. Generous with resources, which is nice since I desperately need them all, but the UFOs are still kinda a pain. I actually did well against Murasa this time, but Shou slaughtered me and Byakuren finished me off.

TD (Hard, Sanae, multiple continues)

As a proud member of the PoFV/SWR/TD Character Niche Hell (yes that's a thing now and yes that's what it's called), it's likely a surprise to no-one that I love the characters and atmosphere in this one. Normal is too easy, whereas my sucky skills at resource management guarantee that I'll never 1cc it on Hard. With that said, the patterns and gameplay feel really good and rewarding on Hard so I still prefer playing it on that.

(As an aside, I also played this on Lunatic to re-unlock cards for practice. Basically everyone after Yuyuko gave me grief... except for Futo, who was still easy. Futo what r u doing?)

DDC (Normal, SakuyaA, 1cc)

So much fun! I was lukewarm towards the demo back in the day, but nowadays I like all the characters, and the back end of the OST is just a banger after banger. The gameplay really shines in this one.

LoLK (Legacy Mode Easy, Reisen, 1cc)

Basically I like everything about this game except the part where you actually play it.

HSiFS (Normal, Reimu + Winter, destroyed by Satono and Mai)

I still don't really like this one. Sorry. I think I'm sleeping on some of the characters (Aunn and Narumi especially seem like characters I could appreciate more), and Crazy Backup Dancers is an absolute banger of a track, but the difficulty spike that is the Stage 5 bosses and my general lukewarm feelings towards everything else made me think I was over Touhou.

WBaWC (Normal, Reimu + Otter, 1cc)

...yeah, no, still not over Touhou. Another game where I basically love everything and I'm still shocked that I ignored it for so long even after Ephemeral Unnatural Balance proved I wasn't just old and crusty and unable to appreciate new games. Still in the process of warming up to the characters, but that's nothing new. I should probably move onto Hard Mode pretty soon: my first crack at it took me to Stage 5.

UM (Demo, Normal, Sanae)

Horror movies, by their nature, have horrific things in them. Most of these movies are violent; lots of them deal with torture, abuse, and mental illness. If some element of this jumps out to me while I’m writing these up, I’ll mention them, but if you are sensitive to or have issues with certain types of content, you might look an individual movie up on Common Sense Media first to check for content warnings.

While there are always good horror movies to be found on Netflix, if you really like scary movies, you should just get a Shudder subscription (or even just the free trial!). It has an unbeatable, well-curated selection.

Darling (okay, so: this is a really beautiful and atmospheric film that I, generally speaking, recommend; however, it is kind of “artsy,” there is not a lot of dialogue, it is in black and white, there are some light strobing effects, rape does not occur on screen but is implied to have happened in a character’s past)

The Hallow (scary fairies)

Tales of Halloween (an anthology, so a mixed bag; okay overall, but it’s definitely Halloween-y)

The Invitation (highest possible recommendation)

Beyond the Gates (I actually did not like this very much, but some people might find it interesting, especially if you like--wait for it--Barbara Crampton)

Turbo Kid (this is not really horror, but if you like horror, especially splatter stuff, you will probably like it; it is good as shit)

Gerald’s Game (new shit from Mike Flanagan and it’s really great. Deals with lots of hard issues like abuse and such so maybe take a look at content issues if you are sensitive to that kind of stuff. Also definitely not for the squeamish, so head’s up. That said, it’s really really good)

Some quick theories about The Mandalorian Season 2, episode 1, and what may happen in the next episode.

SPOILER WARNING FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED THE MANDALODIAN AND WANT TO AVOID SPOILERS!!!!

This is the post I was trying to get ready for Yesterday (Tuesday), but utterly failed and ended up posting it today.

Now, my main thoughts on the episode.

It was honestly fun. I really loved the introduction of the Krayt Dragon. I mean, as someone who really likes dragon, and this episode’s main quest being about fighting a dragon, this episode was quite a treat.

While I haven’t personally played the game (I must), I find it neat how the episode – in a way – paid homage to a quest in the KOTOR game.

Honestly, when Cobb Vahn showed up, wearing Boba’s armor, you could clearly see it was not exactly well fitting. Like it was made for someone with a different body type and height. Bit of a neat detail. Btw, just realized he lacks one knee protector on one leg. The armor isn’t complete.

It was also kind of funny, how the way Din got Cobb out of the way was by striking the Jetpack, causing it to malfunction in the same manner Boba’s did. Based on what we have seen from Jango Fett, and the Mandos in TCW, I guess Jetpacks are fated to be the one weakpoint in a Mandalorian’s arsenal.

We got a cameo in the form of R5, from Episode 4. Small galaxy. Tbf, R5 was still on Tatooine when we last saw him (if I’m not mistaken), and could have remained on Tatooine, ending up where the droid is right now.

The Boba Fett reveal was an honest surprise, but a welcome one (to me at least). And it’s interesting how it was probably something that was bound to happen, especially after that ending in Season 1, Episode 5, when people started theorizing that the person who finds Fennec at the was possibly Boba Fett. And it seems Season 2 may build up on that plot point that was left hanging.

Now, onto some quick theories

1. Boba Fett is Alive

And I can think of a few options of how this happened, and the reason why Boba has what appear to be Tusken gear (What appears to be a Gaderffii or gaffi stick on his back, along with what appears to be a rifle).

Either:

a. He was found by the Tuskens after he had his armor stolen by Jawas, and taken in due to viewing him a survivor of both the Sarlacc and the new resident, the Krayt Dragon.

b. He blew a hole in the Sarlacc, injuring it heavily. The Sarlacc could try to catch him again while he crawls out, only for the the Krayt dragon to come in and finish off and eat the Sarlacc. The dragon saving him by pure coincidence.

c. He was rescued by the Tuskens after crawling out of the Sarlacc, took him in – possibly for the same reason as option a. – and stripped him of his armor to treat his wounds. The armor is then stolen by Jawas… Somehow

d. He got swallowed by the Krayt dragon along with the Sarlacc, only to be spit out due to his armor causing the beast to choke momentarily. The Tuskens discover him after this, possibly witnessing this, and save him.

I have little doubt that he may have been saved by the Tuskens in some shape or form. That or he just killed and Tusken and took their gear. After losing his armor that is.

Now. Whether or not he is living with the Tusken Raiders or not is a question that needs answering. After all, he could just be wandering around on his own, tracking down his lost armor, and him showing up at the end of the episode is him finally tracking down where said armor is.

2. Mando having Boba Fett’s armor may lead to encountering the guy later on

I believe that the moment he waltz into Mos Eisley to go back to his ship, people will spot Boba’s armor. The residents will recognize the armor, which may lead to Mando learning who the previous/original owner of the armor is (Boba Fett) and may then set out to find him. That, or he will encounter him after being told the man is possibly dead, seeing as the armor is all that is left. And no one has actually seen Boba himself without a helmet/mask. He may be a Jango clone, but he wouldn’t be immediately recognized as Boba Fett based on the fact that he never took his helmet off, at least not in front of people (intimidation and stuff, maybe). This possibly enables Boba to hide more effectively whenever he is not wearing the armor.

Also remember. Boba mostly resided on Tatooine, serving as a bounty hunter for Jabba the Hutt. Outside of that, he was pretty well known to many, his armor is pretty recognizable. His armor was basically his face in the eyes of the public, if we are being honest.

3. Boba is a clone, and Din (who was a kid during the clone wars) may recognize his face if he sees him without a face cover.

Now, this one is a bit of a stretch. Who knows?

My thoughts are that, since Din was rescued from B2 battle droids (which were mostly seen during the Clone Wars) by Death Watch (who were active during that same period). Could it be possible that, before the attack that destroyed his home and left him an orphan, that Din may have seen clones? What if the attack on his home was the result of the Republic failing to protect the place, which led to said tragedy? And while this defense set by the Republic was in place, Din may have seen and/or interacted with clone troopers, seeing them without a helmet.

This could lead to his meeting Boba Fett having a different sort of impact. He could recognize his face, a clone, however he hadn’t aged much, which could mean he is different from the rest. Perhaps there is some deep-seated resentment, at the loss of his home due to the Republic failing them, and the clones were just the face he associated with said failure.

4. About Episodes 2 and Possibly 3

I feel like perhaps we will get a three episode arc to start this season, much like season 1 (Episode 1 involved finding the Child, Episode 2 Involved some bonding with the Child and discovering he is force sensitive before getting off-planet to deliver him, and Episode 3 is basically the ‘Rescue the child’ part of the arc).

Episode 1, Din finds a Mandalorian armor (which we know belonged to Boba Fett).

Episode 2 could possibly be about discovering the name of the armor’s previous owner. Boba could be possibly be believed to be dead by the locals, after all he was last seen getting swallowed by a Sarlacc, and now they find someone has found his armor. Din, on his way to leave, may be confronted by Boba wearing his Tusken disguise (if he has one). The two fight and Boba steals the armor back.

Episode 3 could be a follow up, with Din wanting to track down the person who took the armor.

Now all this is just speculation that just came to my mind. There probably won’t be an all-out confrontation, but I don’t mind, honestly.

Ps: wouldn’t it be kind of funny if said confrontation I theorize for Episode 2, led to people saying Boba’s ghost is haunting them or something?

Anyway, all of these points are just theories based on my own thoughts, they are not facts.
