DAY 146: TOTAL CASUALTIES IN ZIONIST GENOCIDE OF PALESTINIANS RISES ABOVE 100'000 AS HUNDREDS SHOT IN AL-RASHID STREET MASSACRE

On the 146th day of Israel's ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 9 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 81 Palestinians and wounding another 132 others over the previous 24-hours, not including hundreds shot in an overnight massacre on Al-Rashid street.

In another Zionist atrocity committed against the Palestinian people, thousands of starving Palestinian families gathered to receive food aid from the arrival of a convoy carrying humanitarian aid on Al-Rashid street, in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, west of Gaza City, when the Zionist occupation army opened fire with machine guns from armored vehicles and Israeli soldiers on the crowds of people.

As a result of the Zionist army's random aggression on civilian families, at least 104 civilians were killed and another 760 wounded, which was not included in today's tally of Israeli massacres.

Medical teams from hospitals across northern Gaza continue to attempt to save the lives of the wounded, many of whom were shot with machine gun fire from occupation armored vehicles and soldiers, however limited capabilities of the hospitals, most of which are only partially functional, makes the saving of lives extremely difficult for more severe injuries.

The number of dead is expected to rise over the coming days as the severely wounded die from their injuries in under-equipped local hospitals.

The Al-Rashid street massacre will likely go down as one of the deadliest episodes in Israel's ongoing genocide of Palestinians families in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, another hospital in Gaza has gone out of service. Reports say that Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the northern Gaza Strip, which was the last hospital operating in the area, has closed down due to running out of fuel for the hospital's generators, losing the ability to perform dialysis, internal medicine, operate the nursery, perform general surgeries or even perform children's emergency services.

Elsewhere, two children died at Al-Shifa Hospital in the northern Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, as a result of dehydration and malnutrition, raising the death toll from famine among children to six deaths over the previous 24-hours.

Simultaneously, occupation fighter jets bombed a residential neighborhood in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, leading to the deaths of at least 14 civilians and wounding dozens of others, while shortly afterwards, the Zionist army fired multiple missiles into the same neighborhood, also killing and wounding a number of Palestinian civilians.

At the same time, occupation aircraft bombed another civilian residence in the Al-Bureij Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of four Palestinians.

In the southern Gaza Strip, occupation artillery shelling targeted the kidney department of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, while outside the hospital, the corpses of 14 Palestinians were recovered over the last day from the Khan Yunis area, including the body of a martyr who was shot by occupation snipers in the vicinity of the Hayat School, near the hospital complex.

Similarly, in another Zionist crime, occupation warplanes bombed a group of civilians in the Asdaa neighborhood, northwest of Khan Yunis, in the south-central Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of six Palestinians.

Occupation air forces also bombed the village of Al-Qarara, also in the Khan Yunis governate, killing at least six civilians and wounding several others.

Meanwhile, a limited incursion into Rafah city by a pair of Merkava tanks and seven D9 armored bulldozers moved into the area near the Surfa landfill and began bulldozing the neighborhood.

Also in the Rafah area, local medical and civil defense crews managed to successfully recover the body of a female civilian, just two days after she was killed in a Zionist airstrike on her family home.

In the north of the Gaza Strip, occupation Merkava tanks and other armored vehicles continue to invade the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, while occupation warplanes bombarded the Al-Barbari family home, dropping the building onto the heads of the family inside and resulting in the arrival of 11 dead and 39 wounded at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Occupation aircraft also continue to bombard, with airstrikes and artillery fire, the city of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Local civil defense crews also managed to retrieve the corpses of 25 Palestinians who were crushed under the rubble of several inhabited homes that were bombed by occupation air forces in the central Gaza Strip.

Similarly, the bodies of five Palestinian civilians were transported to the European Gaza Hospital in the Al-Fukhari neighborhood of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, after intense Israeli shelling of the south and central areas of the enclave, while occupation gunfire and artillery shelling targeted anything that moves in the Al-Satar neighborhood and in the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex, also in the city of Khan Yunis.

As a result of Israel's genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, ongoing since October 7th, 2023, the death toll has risen in excess of 30'035 killed, with another 70'457 wounded in occupation air, drone, missile and artillery strikes across the Palestinian enclave, bringing the total number of casualties above 100'000 officially for the first time.

Oh, this is gonna be mushy. I'm feeling mushy. I'm gonna be in a wedding next week and am feeling so many mushy things about it, and I just finished writing the "speech" I'm giving (I am hoping I can just like privately do it tbh) and got REEEEALLY emotional so.

Despite Eddie's insistence that everything would go perfectly, and Nancy's overbearing organization, and Robin's attempt at keeping Steve from knowing when something went wrong, things did not go perfectly.

The rain started five minutes before they were supposed to start the ceremony and Steve immediately started spiraling.

"Rain is bad luck! It wasn't even supposed to be cloudy today! Nance, what do we do?" Steve was pacing back and forth, running his hands through his hair, ruining it's previously perfect style.

"First, we just wait a few minutes and see if it passes. You take a breath or five. Robin is gonna make sure the guests are staying dry inside the reception hall," Nancy answered, typing furiously on her cell phone.

"And then? If it doesn't stop? Do I just marry Eddie in the fucking rain?"

Nancy looked up at him, eyes squinting as she considered an answer.

"Your first kiss was in the rain, was it not?" she finally settled on.

"I don't see how that has anything to do with-"

"And the first date, that ended up with you stuck in rain after a concert?"

"So?"

"The first time he said he loved you was during a storm."

Steve felt some of the tension ease from his back and arms.

"And when he asked you to marry him, you were waiting for the rain to stop so you could walk the dog he didn't tell you he was rescuing."

"That was-"

"Yeah, so I think maybe we can just relax when it comes to rain. It's clearly not the sign of bad luck you seem to think it is," Nancy went back to typing furiously on her phone.

"Who are you texting?" Steve asked, sitting down on the arm of one of the chairs in the room.

"Dustin."

"Is he okay? Is Eddie?" Steve stood up, ready to go check on them himself, but was immediately stopped by Nancy's firm grip on his shoulder.

"Everyone is fine. Chill."

So, he chilled. Or tried to at least.

Nancy continued to text and the skies continued to pour down rain.

After ten minutes, he stood up.

"We can't keep people waiting. It doesn't look like it's gonna stop, so-"

A knock on the door interrupted him, causing both him and Nancy to turn towards it with wide eyes.

"Stevie?"

"Eds?"

Steve opened the door, even though he was supposed to wait until they were actually getting married to see him today.

His arms were full of Eddie before Nancy could slam the door shut.

"What's wrong, baby?" Steve asked, arms tightening around him and breathing in the smell of his "nice" cologne.

"'S raining," Eddie mumbled against his neck.

"Okay, that's it. Both of you are getting married now." Nancy tugged them apart and out of the room, her strength somehow still surprising to both of them.

"Nance-"

"Wheeler, it's pouring and-"

"Shut up."

One thing about Nancy Wheeler is she was a bit scary when she was determined, and right now, it seemed she was incredibly determined to get them married.

The rain was still coming down, but Nancy didn't let that stop her from dragging them to the arch surrounded by rows of seats.

She stood under the arch, eyebrows raised as water dripped off of her.

Steve and Eddie stared at her, then at each other.

They both started laughing.

"Might as well do it, then," Eddie shrugged.

"Dearly beloved, we are stuck out in the rain today to see these two idiots get married-"

"Hey! This is not what we agreed you'd say!" Steve argued, cutting himself off when Nancy snapped her fingers.

"We're gonna cut this short because this rain is cold, but they've both prepared some things to say," Nancy gestured for them to get started.

Steve had known what he was going to say for months now, memorized it and practiced it in the mirror almost every morning while he was doing his hair.

But it didn't feel right now.

"I didn't think it was possible to love someone this much," Steve said, squeezing Eddie's hands in his. "Standing in the rain to marry you makes sense, now that we're here. All I care about is you, all I ever care about is being with you, rain or shine or snow, bad times or good."

It was impossible to tell for sure if Eddie was crying or the raindrops were running down his cheeks, but when he spoke, Steve could hear just a slight rasp to his voice.

"You remember when I finally kissed you for the first time? The rain hadn't stopped all day and we both looked ridiculous, kinda like now, and you were just pouting up at the sky, and I couldn't hold back. I can never hold back with you. I'll kiss you in the rain for the next 100 years if I live long enough to do it, sweetheart," Eddie said softly.

"Alright, kiss each other!"

"Aren't the rings next?"

"Robin has them, we can do that part later."

Eddie pulled Steve against him, fronts flush against each other.

"Think we could find somewhere to mess around in the rain?" he whispered against Steve's lips.

Steve's eyes flashed over to Nancy, who was already walking away.

"Kiss me and we'll see."

I do wanna say that Bereavement (T-rated, Sirius Black & Harry Potter, Harry Potter) where Harry, instead of Sirius, falls through the veil and No Matter What Happens, You'll Return To Me (T-rated, Porsche & Porchay + Porsche/Kinn + Porchay/Kim, Kinnporsche (TV)) where Kim dies bc of a random act of cruelty by a stranger and Porchay overdoses on sleeping pills and it's all in Porsche's POV,,, those are very strong competitors for the #1 spot of angsty endings.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ohhhhh god this one is harder ASJSDJ,,,, if I'm picking a fic with angst, Up In Smoke (T-rated, Korra/Asami Sato, Avatar: Legend of Korra) has a satisfying ending after a group of people burn down the Sato residency and Asami grieves,,,, but if I'm picking a fic that is fluff and has an ending I like, then Pulled From The Wreckage (No Rating, Aziraphale/Crowley, Good Omens (TV)) because I'm love them.

Do you get hate on fics?

Oh most definitely. It's happened. Either some mfer didn't read the tags I got up and they got something smart to say,,,, or is a ship hater🥱,,,, or leaves poorly masked constructive criticism,,,,,

When I do think of AO3 hate I've gotten, I do think about the time I posted a Bellamy/Clarke & Clarke/Lexa vee-relationship poly fic from The 100 tv show where both shipping fandoms showed their own asses in the comments. (And I would do it again to laugh at them.) Or I think about the guy who came onto my Merthur fic where Arthur had terminal cancer and he practiced safe consensual sex (like some of the most consensual I've ever written) and called Arthur 'a whore' because it wasn't enough Merthur sex going on in my fic??? Like you gotta be out of your goddamn mfing mind to do that nonsense.

I got 505 explicit rated fics and they're 99.9% full of smut! Mostly the smut is between OTPs/ships I like, but sometimes it's just because! I gonna recommend three smut fics of mine just for shits and grins:

Mark on You is the only one with any substance on 28 (the other two are just fevered notes lol):

When John gets hurt, now, he’s dragged into Rodney’s quarters the moment he’s out of the infirmary, every scrape and bruise catalogued, every bandage inspected and reapplied, all with a low-voiced running monologue about some people needing to be more careful with things that belong to one Dr. Rodney McKay. John, for his part, fucking basks in it, soaks in the attention he wouldn’t be able to ask for, the reassurance of Rodney’s hands on him.

(The self-indulgence of this fic is truly astounding lmao)

I cannot under any circumstances take my own art seriously while I'm making it. I would never finish it. I'd never even START

Yeah sure I could try to learn how to Draw Good and invest in decent supplies, one of those art tablet thingies with the fancy stylus that my brother uses (who actually Draws Good and Knows Stuff), but then I'd feel obligated to be skilled at it and that's no fun when I just wanna draw little blob-looking guys that would have gotten me an F in junior high art class.

I could pay for Scrivener, but consider instead: scribbling random sentences on a shitty 50 cent notebook I found in the discount bin at dollar tree that's already half-filled with random strings of numbers and grocery lists. This is not a very hinged post, even by the typically low standards for hingedness on this blog, so I’m just going to. Put a cut in here nice and early.

It’s deer season right now, so I while I was out for a jog this evening I heard a gunshot and got to thinking, like, what does a bankai release sound like, and from how far away can it be heard?

I mean, maybe it depends on the bankai, though in generally they tend to be pretty flashy in general, and everyone’s gotta release, regardless of what happens after that.

We know that when actually fighting (with either bankai or shikai) friendly fire is a big consideration, to the extent that there are protocols for implementing third-party shields/etc. that don’t have to be put up by the combatants themselves--like when Yumichika orders a bunch for the Advance Team in real-time. And of course we end up with these 1v1 fights all the time, for reasons of tradition and practicality both. (Though the fact that so many of the fights during Fake Karakura are SEQUENTIAL rather than simultaneous cracks me up, because they really all just watched Ikkaku lose that pillar, huh??? Even if these fights take place over a matter of minutes rather than the 45min they feel like to us, still--!!)

This isn’t about sound, specifically, but thinking through what information we do have about bankai/shikai distances: People were fighting pretty far away from each other in that arc, given the entirety of Fake Karakura was below them. Kyouraku and Starrk got to see some snow crystals, but that’s it, so I assume they were 3 ri or more from Hitsugaya and Halibel:

This very random number is honestly a neat detail--TO ME--because that’s around the average size of a storm cell! (Possibly related, but I was recently told by a child that I spend an above average amount of time on the Weather App, and that instead I should look at TikToks in bed like a normal person.) Don’t get me started on the fascinating history of antiquated Japanese units of measurement, because that was also very interesting to me. I think the wildest part is that there are measurements for area rather than just length, but since Hitsugaya doesn’t use them does this mean that Soul Society was just like “fuck it, we have had to change calendars and writing systems and units of measurement and vocabularies TOO MANY TIMES to keep up with these fucking living human people, we are eliminating some of these!!!” because boy nothing would excite me more than reading the AP Style Guide for Soul Society-- 

But anyway, that’s just what we know about the potential impacts and their range. I want to know about sound! How far away can you hear that release? Can you hear it from as far away as a rifle? As far away as thunder? How much of an impact re: temperature/relative humidity would tensou juurin have on these distances? What about standing up in the sky vs. on the ground where all the buildings and trees are?

I don’t have any desire to know these things for applied use--this is one of those things where making up the questions is way more interesting than any answers--but yes my jog was very cold and uphill and I had a lot of time to think about ephemera why do you ask

See the real reason I numbered my OC checklist is so I can generate random numbers to pick characters for stuff. Rn I'm going to pick 2 totally random ones and think about what their interactions would be (even if they never actually meet). 120. Cancer and 15. Eirene: Eirene is literally a little girl he'd just be niceys to her. She might ask too many questions about how he gets around with pincer arms but he'd be patient.

59. Ramus and 55. Harriot: I actually think they'd get along. Harriot is impatient and Ramus always takes the quickest most direct route to things. That's not a bad combo at all.

10. Barnard and 4. Al: They're already friends! They're in the same guild and around the same age, and their personalities mesh just fine. They're not besties but they definitely get along, both are readers so they at least have that to talk about on top of guild stuff. I made them roommates in my collage au rather than going w the more obvious options lol

132. Rhea and 96. Deimos: gonna be real, he might just steal her money. Fairly well-off looking housewife and some bandit kid? He's stealing her fucking money

17. Shaula And 7. Felis: They're literally sisters lol. Shaula says she wants to be just like her older siblings and Felis is clutching onto her shoulders like Don't.

34. Porrima And 66. Misam: I think Misam would say they like Porrima's vibe and Porrima would be like "I know how you die." (< trying to make conversation)

33. Cerberus and 108. Eris: She would try to manipulate that dogboy but he'd be too stupid for it to work. Looks like she's not getting out of time prison.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's biggest bug was only just discovered, and it completely undermines an entire game mode

Okay so.

People were starting to get a bit of deja vu in the online Battle Stadium in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. In particular, a few people were reporting that the first attack almost always seems to miss.

Now, it's pretty common for people to complain about RNG, and get a warped perception of what the odds are. But this isn't that kind of situation. Any move with 90% accuracy or less will always miss if it is the first move used in the battle.

How could that possibly happen? Well, randomness in video games is determined by a seed - which is basically a starting position for the random number generation to work from. Seeds are handy for randomisation, because they allow random results to be replicated - essentially, if you do the same actions in the same order using the same random seed, you should get the same result. In the context of Pokemon battles, this is useful for things such as battle replays.

By now you may understand the issue. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet use the same seed for every single battle in the Battle Stadium. This means that if the same actions are taken in a battle, the result will also be the same.

Here are some features of the current seed that are already known:

If the first move in a battle is less than 90% accurate, it will miss.

If Heat Wave is the first move in the battle, it will always miss the target on the left.

If Sheer Cold is the second move in the battle, it will always hit. Sheer Cold is a move that will always Knock Out the opponent, but has 30% accuracy. As you can imagine, being able to guarantee a hit with this attack is way too powerful.

The more actions that are taken in a battle, the more complicated it becomes to understand what the next result will be from this seed. But, this is only the first day that this bug is known. People will very quickly map out more complex lines of play, and get a deeper understanding of what the outcomes of actions will be deeper into the match.

This bug will surely be fixed very quickly. It completely undermines the Battle Stadium, which is the main way to play competitive Pokemon until the ranked ladder begins. But until it is fixed, you can be sure people will be finding more wild exploits and bizarre lines of play based on these guaranteed odds.

Stop Stealing.

You’re laying stomach down on her bed, surrounded by her scent. Slices of her pizza shoved into your mouth- she said you could.

She’s off in the bathroom doing…something you’re not quite sure of but the door is open and you’re talking to her. Life is good right now.

You pick off the mushrooms, shovelling another slice into your mouth.

“…if he wasn’t such an ass I wouldn’t have gotten angry,” you say with your mouth full.

You’re talking about the sheriff who has been nothing but difficult during this entire case and who is one step away from kicking you off said case.

“You need to stop letting people wind you up,” says Scully. She emerges from the bathroom post shower, hair curling at the ends as it dries and skin smelling of lemons from the shower gel.

You liked many Scullies but Post Shower Scully was up there as one of your favourites; freckles on full display, skin soft and warm from the water.

Her appearance catches your attention. You frown at a familiar looking piece of grey fabric.

“It’s not my fault these people are dicks,” you grumble. “Is that my shirt?”

Scully stops dead in the middle of the room, a deer caught in headlights.

“It was in my suitcase,” she offers as explanation.

You grin, moving to sit upright. “It just happened to be in your suitcase, huh?” You weren’t buying it.

“Yes,” Scully answers. She offers up her own frown then. “Why are you eating all my pizza?”

“You said I could!”

“One slice, not the whole thing.”

You look down at the pizza and realise that you’ve eaten almost more than half.

Picking up the rest of the slice you shrug.

“Didn’t want it to go cold.”

Scully joins you on the bed, picking up your discarded mushrooms and dropping them onto the other remaining slices.

“Stop stealing my pizza,” she says, slapping your hand away as you reach for another.

“Stop stealing my shirts.”

You know she won’t, just as you won’t stop stealing her pizza, even if she does order mushrooms on it.

“Sharing is caring,” she says.

“I know.”

Akira being revealed to be sitting slightly to Fuuko’s left during Ragnarok is, likely unintentionally, the funniest god damn thing to ever come out of this series

Cus like...you gotta figure that from the moment G-Liner broke and Anno Un died, he was just chilling with the group the entire time. This raises a lot of questions, like who he went with when Fuuko was taken by Under or how he reacted to Fuuko being STABBED IN THE HEART

Did he know who Ruin was? He must have, right? Ruin must have existed within Information’s vision, unless he was literally only just created post G-Liner? But that’d be weird, considering that he has a scar already. I kind of doubt Sun designed him with a scar, I’m pretty sure his entire thing about being created by God is a bunch of bull, but whatever

Anyway, I think it’s extremely fitting that Akira is the one who both closes out the old and opens the new loops. Not only is he the author surrogate, lamenting the end of the current story and expressing his hope for what he’ll be able to do in the future (possibly an expression of the fear of Undead Unluck potentially being canceled before reaching that conclusion like so many other Jump manga), but he’s also a major impetus for the entire story thus far

Akira wrote To You, From Me, the story that allowed Fuuko to continue living right up until she would meet Andy. For all intents and purposes, he saved Fuuko at the very beginning of the manga, so it’s only appropriate that Part 2 begins with Fuuko saving Akira WITH the story that he allowed her to “write”

Also, fun bit of trivia, the new manga that Akira is talking about being in Jump that week (Sep. 11, 1972, issue #39) is Astro Kyuudan, and the issue of Jump he’s carrying actually has the cover in question!

Astro Kyuudan is about a baseball team made up of boys born with baseball-shaped birthmarks and unique powers that they use to build the ultimate baseball team. I have to wonder if this series was an inspiration for Tozuka, considering that Undead Unluck is about a group with special powers trying to form the best team possible to achieve their goals (in this case killing God instead of going to Koshien). Apparently it’s a series known for doing unconventional things with the sports genre, which is appropriate, considering that Undead Unluck does a decent number of unconventional things with the battle genre

Back on topic, Akira once again found G-Liner, which presumably had again become Information’s host, but that’s a little odd since A) that means that the selection of the Artifact was pre-ordained instead of random as it was stated, and B) that the timing of Information’s capture was the same. I’m going to chalk this up to Tozuka not wanting to get bogged down in the details and instead wanting to do something compelling, which I definitely feel, I’m just the type to think about that kind of thing

Now, here’s the odd thing:

Fuuko’s got her long hair again, tucked into her shirt, implying that Andy hasn’t been around to cut it, but it’s been about 100 years since Fuuko should have been placed in the Loop. Has she really not run into Andy yet? Or are they split up for some reason, like covering as much ground as they can for recruiting the rest of the Negators? 

Fuuko telling Akira about the previous Loop presents the perfect framing device for us to learn how she’s spent the last 100 years, so I’m sure it’ll be made clear soon enough

Backtracking a bit, Fuuko’s declaration that she and everyone else would negate the Gods is as strong of confirmation that they’ll be fighting Luna as I think we could possibly ask for. When she turned to face Luna, we saw the burning Earth framing her determined expression, as if to say that the whole world had her back and that the Earth itself was declaring the Sun and Moon their enemies

The image of Andy’s skull, or the portion that holds his eyes at least (the most recognizable part of Andy in my opinion) floating through space and biding its time is one that I imagine will stick with me for a long time, especially with how it contrasts how bright and bombastic the last several chapters in the Sun fight were

Seeing countless Suns emerging to initiate Ragnarok was honestly chilling, and brings up the question of what’s going to happen after they manage to defeat Sun next Loop: are more just going to keep popping up? Do they only need to defeat one, or do they need to defeat all of them? Will Sun admit defeat if they manage to beat just one, or will its consciousness be defeated in that moment?

There’s clearly a lot more to this than initially suggested, and most likely a lot more build up to the finale than I anticipated, so we might actually hit the four year mark after all!

Time will tell, but I’m very excited to be along for the ride!

My latest gaming addiction - No Man’s Sky. Bought it on Steam in sales last week and after an initial “not sure if like or dislike” I’ve spent a disturbing number of hours running around and finding stuff and building mini-bases all over my starting solar system. This particular one is at the site of a crashed space freighter I’m salvaging stuff from (my only base so far in a second solar system is positioned at same). I have several sites I’ve named “Drydock” that were claimed just for the purpose of salvaging a wrecked ship and warping it to the space station to melt down for scrap (best haul so far netted me > 5 million units plus a storage upgrade for my own tiny ship). At some point when I have a lot more in the way of resources and technology, I might try actually repairing one of the crashed ships. Because why not.

I also like having bases handy to specific material types - like the one super-weird planet covered in coral-like desiccated creatures that are formed of both carbon and ferrite (two of the three main building materials, the other being silicate sand you can dig up anywhere), making it an awesome place to farm for more building materials any time I start running low. So much easier and faster than running around mining them from random plants and rocks on other planets, and I can just use my teleporter to step to there from any of my other bases if I need to gather more

So far if I had to describe my character I’d say they’re conflict-avoidant. Happy enough to just ignore the battles occurring around them, scavenge for salvageable crap, and build micro-bases. I am looking forward to unlocking more of the decor items so I can make bases that look comfortable, not just functional (I blame many years of playing The Sims for that interest...).

I’ve barely set foot outside my starting system yet, and don’t really have any interest so far in following the main storyline assignments or getting into any fights. I’ve only killed one pirate so far - mostly I just scram away from them as fast as my tiny ship can go - but I may beef up my weapons and shields a little, because being randomly attacked when I’m just minding my own business mining asteroids (for gold so I can build more solar panels) is getting old.

Been wanting this print from @theshitpostcalligrapher‘s Etsy shop for most of a year now; finally picked up a copy this month as a birthday present to myself.

I’ve put it in sight of my bed, so I’ll see it first and last thing every day, and some day (hopefully soonish) when I get my shit together enough to move out into my own place again, I will probably make a point of it being the first decorative item I set out.

(Also I love the pretty tiled frame I bought to put it in)
