@Anonymous asked:
Do you have art of Honeydew? Honeydew and her family?
//Well I do have a decent bit of art featuring Honeydew, but I haven’t drawn either of her parents. Most I could compare her father to is just a spitting image of commander Red (since Red was Honey’s granddad.) Her mom doesn’t have a name nor a canon look yet, it’s something I’ve placed on the backburner long ago. Maybe one day I’ll get around to making a family portrait

hbomberguy’s latest video on plagiarism has made me completely rethink literature and writing. I have never once so much as considered intentionally plagiarizing anyone or anything, but I think there’s something more that has come out of this: the names of the people who created the works Somerton (and others) ripped off.
Plagiarism isn’t only bad because it is lazy and disrespectful, it’s bad because it buries the truth. If you can’t find a source, the conversation is over. Somerton’s sources are fairly easy to find by simply searching his plagiarized lines, but that isn’t true in most cases. Most of the time, the line from statement to source is a lot less clear.
Today, I was writing a report on English Ivy, which is an invasive species here in the US. I wanted to know when it was introduced and I at last found a source claiming it was introduced to the Americas “as early as 1727” on a .net website that seems quite reputable (it has multiple major universities credited in its home page), but there is no citation for where this date came from. I dug deeper and found a pamphlet created by a city government in Virginia that made the same claim, only to discover the first source linked in their bibliography. Another website (a botanical garden’s page) gave the same date with the same source hyperlinked. Of course, I have classes to attend and things to do and probably not enough time to follow the lines back to where this 1727 date came from, but if I had not just watched this video, I wouldn’t have given that date a second thought.
Of course, it doesn’t matter in the long run exactly what year hedera helix was introduced to the Americas, but it makes you wonder how many facts have been so vaguely attributed that it becomes completely impossible to figure out where they originated (and further, whether or not they’re true at all).

Anonymous said: Seing that picture made me think, do you have any headcanons of Cateline and Hannos older selves?
//Aaah i definetly do if you mean a non-despair verse! (Since it's p much the one that my recent pic is from...) Just in case, putting the info under spoilers. uvu
Hanno:
After graduating Hopes Peak Academy, Hanno decided to continue his studies that would help on his goal of being a ship captain, in the end he graduated with good scores.
Thankfully, being an alumni of HPA, he ended up quickly landing on a job where he would become a captain of a ferry ship- One that he was allowed to give it a few personal touches, just because.
The ship was from the same company as his father's former ferry, Hanno's ships name is 'Sunrise', and quickly became quite famous due to be hosting art exhibitions in it (including at times, Vernissages and Finissages), 2 floors in fact for such, one for local artists or any cultural events, and the other one exclusively to Cateline 😔.
He grew taller by some inches, and sadly... He cannot carry heavy things as he usually does with his right arm due to certain events.
Cateline:
After studying at Hopes Peak Academy, Cateline received a scholarship to study at an art academy back in Dijon, France thanks to being an alumni at HPA. Despite of her mother's constant protest to not go, she ended up flying there.
In the end, Cateline dropped college and flew back to Japan to finish her studies due to certain events, doesn't help that she got diagnosed with diabetes before coming back.
She ended up graduating in Japan, and continued painting as a hobby and work/doing commissions, and later on for the Sunrise Ferry.
Thankfully, she goes to therapy, moving forward regard of her sister's passing and of certain events.
Both:
Unsuprisingly, they both end up getting married, their wedding takes place on a cruise ship, and Hanno takes his wife's last name. (becoming Hanno Dunois).
They get two daughters, Lyne and Mia.
Cateline at times, helps Hanno at the ferry with the art exhibitions and events... And also at times the travel shop in the ship.
They do own a home, but due to Hanno's work, there times where the whole family stays on the ship as a second home.
If you managed to read it all, congrats!, here's a bonus art of them!

Not the anon, but Kosa is a bill that's soon going to pass where minors on the internet get their parents to see what they search up and restrict things that are deemed "inappropriate." When in reality it prevents kids who are trying to learn about the lbgtq community and kids trying to identify abuse. The bill will change the internet forever and NOT in a good way.
Im pretty sure the anon is trying to ask you to spread awareness about this.
Some links to prevent this are:

You might be good at writing a Cat Grant or Lillian Luthor sort of character? Or an Alex Cabot? I could also see you writing Olivia Benson.
this made me realize I write powerful women.
Cat Grant would be a lot of fun. I remember being so iffy about her when I watched Supe.rgirl. Like she was the character you just hated to love. Lilian Luthor, though, i see potential XD. You know I think I'd actually love to write Olivia but I would have to rewatch Law and order. It's been ages. Same for Alex.
