//For worst qualities, I can be impatient and get into my own head a lot, which leads to a lot of negativity that is known to put people off. My low self esteem and anxiety can be my own worst enemy.

//Honestly I wish I could lose weight and not let my anxiety and overall mental health get the better of me some days, but I suspect a lot of my issues stem from undiagnosed mental health conditions, and my own undiagnosed autism, so there's that.

💔 : What kinds of characters do you have the most trouble writing for?

Hmmmm. This one is hard! I would say I struggle the most with characters who are kind of-- mean. It makes me feel really bad to bully other characters. I can do it! But the muse for villains or complicated jerks is kinda hard to harness sometimes ^^

➳ : When creating OCs, what do you typically start with first? (i.e. appearance, name, a theme, etc.)

Since I already answered this, I'm just gonna mention some concepts that initially jumpstarted a few muses!

Saffron for example was the idea of having a character that i wanted to be-- not brave! so many of my characters are brave in the face of danger, even if it's because they have to be. i wanted someone who genuinely could not overcome that fear, to explore that and have the chance to subvert my own tendencies, to push myself as a writer. I also wanted someone who might have some level of ability sure, but for the most part was pretty mundane, and very human. And specifically, I wanted to make an OC who had their troubles in life as everyone does, but who had made it through the worst of it, and was honestly doing okay now. To focus instead on healing and recovery and coping with your past rather than continued harm. He can still be a bit funny because he's a scaredy cat and sometimes scary guys show up, and he still has sad or bad times, but he's got some of his shit figured out enough to be content and just live a normalish life and get help when he needs it.

Greyson meanwhile is like--the concept of losing the thing that you define yourself with and how to cope with it. He's a chef, he's spent his whole life getting ready to be one, and he finally started his own restaurant, and then he loses his sense of taste in an accident--- the frustration of that loss and contending with it, deciding if you give up everything you worked for because circumstances changed, or if you continue onward-- -there's no true right or wrong answer, but contending with the question is a struggle that's interesting to me and i want to explore !

Manos was the concept of a spirit kind of--- possessing/achored by it's own zombified corpse because of a resurrection gone horribly awry lol. And then the idea of also realizing when you don't have to worry about things like pain or biological sensibility, fuck, you can do whatever body mods you want because the original human plan doesn't limit you anymore.

Turtle was because--- i think the idea of a dramatic theatrical librarian who loves his books would be a fun, but he mostly came to be because I wanted to make someone who was bald, since that was outside my usual design choices lol. And then the idea of him having an academic rivalry with the bookshop owner was silly enough i solidified him more lol

Similarity :: Both cannot swim well if at all and struggle with sleep and nightmares.

Difference :: Hope is significantly smarter and has more experience in the outside world than Egg.

Similarity :: Both have a fluctuating empathy-apathy scale that skews with how attached they are to someone.

Difference :: Teal is significantly more skilled with technology than Egg is, as well as runs a much more successful shop and trader outpost.

Similarity :: Both have a desire for more than the place they are confined to; they want to see what's out there that they can't see.

Difference :: Chamyle adores camping out with her small handful of friends, while Egg feels a lot safer and more comfortable sleeping in her own bed.

Difference :: Melody's dream work path is to be a musical performer, while Egg's is to be able to create and sell her creations to people and make them smile.

Difference :: Noir is a lot more morally loose than Egg is for obvious weasons.

Similarity :: Both are extremely creative and enjoy fishing quite a bit.

Difference :: Divodas has a preference for fish, while Egg's meat preference leans more towards chicken.

Similarity :: Both struggle with maintaining bonds or leaving their place of residence unless it's absolutely needed.

Difference :: Leah holds significant grudges when he thinks someone has critically wronged him, while Egg tends to be a lot more forgiving and forgetting. Especially forgetting.

Similarity :: Both have a significant desire to be something they know they never can be, due to how they biologically are.

Difference :: Amy is near-completely void of emotion and tends to be cruel because of it, Egg has significantly more emotion. Enough that it makes it hard for her to function some days.

Similarity :: Both suffer from Graves Disease and Depression and are medicated for both conditions.

Difference :: Riley is significantly more cocky and sassy than Egg; who is pretty quiet nowadays. One is also in a loving relationship while to other has no chance of that in the slightest for multiple reasons.

[ not really something i hate so yes. im cheating. but it's mostly something that sometimes makes me go "hm. i did not like that"

like. as i said i love how expansive he is and him being antagonistic is fun. i have a lot of very antagonistic muses, so that's mostly a problem with me who, despite the occasional bad anger managment and the fact that i'm oh so willing to bite and maim. i'm not someone who acts too loud or antagonistic for no reason. like for me to be disrespectful and actively aggressive it takes a lot, i'm to my core still quite closed off and. i dont want to boast too much but i do consider myself kind and more prone to be open and sweet rather than being rude on the get-go

Harry Potter (Controversial I know, but it played a major part in my youth and even if Rowling is a trash human being she came up with an amazing world that has evolved and grown far more than she’ll ever be capable of).

1. I have a large collection of plushies, including a collected set that would be worth approximately $1000+ if I sold them on ebay.

2. One of my ball pythons, Marble, is a chimera and was hatched from the very first clutch of eggs bred by me (I no longer breed, they are all pets).

3. I used to be terrified of spiders and I’m still not comfortable holding them/handling them (not that they like being held/handled to begin with) but having to care for them has helped me otherwise completely get over my fear.

Pretty, smart, and reliable.

I'm very responsible, which has helped me start building the life I want by caring for myself and my surroundings. I also take a lot of pride in my problem-solving skills because they help me adapt to different circumstances. I've lived in three different countries throughout my life, so I've needed to figure out situations I never thought I would be immersed in when I was all young and privileged. I really like how confident I am, too.

💔 — what are some of your worst qualities?

I don't know what happened to me, but along the way, I became too passive, and now I don't call people out on their hurtful behaviors until I'm fed up. I also have a hard time relying on others either to get something done or emotionally, and it seems I'm patient with everybody except myself, trying to achieve perfection in all I do.

As a matter of fact, I am engaged to my darling @unlockthestars. Which, I think sometimes people think is a joke when we say it, but I do mean it entirely literally. They met me, see all my crazy, and somehow still want to marry me. Amazing.

❤️ — what are some of your best qualities?

Oh, God, I hate this kind of question, I'm so bad at this. UH. I am very creative, and come up with solutions that other people don't always think of. I'm quick to try and help when I can, and offer a shoulder to lean on if I can't. And... I really don't know !!

💔 — what are some of your worst qualities?

I can come across as aggressive / snobby / mean. I have a really explosive temper. I get jealous and discouraged pretty easily. I'm a people pleaser so I sometimes have a bad habit of losing myself to be something that more people will like, although I'm getting better at not doing that these days. Also I swear way too much and I cannot keep a secret to save my life.

💘 — what and/or who do you consider near and dear to you?

Hm... well, my cat, Monkey, who is an absolute chaos gremlin. My mum and my sister, who are the closest family I have and pretty much the only ( biological ) family I really have these days. Mal, obviously, and my close friends who live in the area. The members of my D&D party, who are all basically my closest friends. And like all of you guys. ;w;

I’d like to consider myself a hardworking person who has an unconventional approach that ends up working out for me somehow, if that makes sense. As in I might solve a problem differently from how others would tackle it, but it still gets solved nonetheless. Maybe I try too hard to “leave my mark in the world” by being weird about everything.

💔 — what are some of your worst qualities?

Occasionally I think too much about what I could’ve done better in the past. “I could’ve used this metaphor”… “I could’ve explained this part better.” Things like that.

Honestly, as someone who felt pressured to meet someone on the internet once, I don’t want to put others through that. I’m probably stinky IRL anyway so it’s best we stay like this 💀 HAHAHAHHAA

// I'd say I'm pretty funny, though that is subjective af, but I do like to think I make people's life funnier.

// I am lazy at my core. I shall always choose the path of least resistance, so that can sometimes lead to issues.

//My biggest pet peeve is people repeating instructions to me over and over.

//Oh fuck, a ton of em...well, there's you ofc who I relate to in so many ways, then @thegoldentigress who was the first contact when I came back to RPing and have somehow managed to not spook away, the queen @regina-tenebris and @weapon-turned-jack who is an amazing dude. Then there's @iceflowers and @voidhunting two great people I kept in contact after my first break from RPing and they are both amazing people and the most recent addition I'd say is @songofsilentechoes who is a marvelous bean and I enjoy talking with them a hell of a lot.

🎧 — do you write while listening to music/podcasts/videos/etc, or do you need total silence?

//I basically need background noise while I write, so any of those options are good yes. The caveat is that I can't write in English while listening something in Spanish (Or Vice Versa) because my brain gets tangled.

💯 — share three random facts about yourself that your mutuals may not know about you.

// 1)I have heterochromia! It's hard to tell at a distance, but one of my eyes is green and the other is brown.

2) I enjoy a nice glass of whiskey to finish off the week, a habit that I got into when I started drinking with my grandpa.

3) I have a non-specific inmunological disease, so i can't donate blood or anything related. Hence why I'm letting my hair grow, so I may donate it instead!.
