Ok so I also just really LOVE drawing dancing, although its so hard, its almost always worth the effort! So some desertduo dancing, and a few of my other favorite team-ups 💕

Headcanons ->

Scar is the first person to trip into a hole or fly face-first into a wall, but is an inexplicably natural dancer. He picks up any style effortlessly! This annoys Grian very much, who, though he can be 'graceful' in the air, is very clumsy on his feet.

Pearl and Gem's waltz is more of a duel of spinning. Who can get the other person dizzy enough to fall? This devolves into a tornado of cackling, lifting, tossing, whirling until either they both collapse or a sword fight breaks out 😂 It's fine, a sword fight has to break out at a party for either to consider it a success.

Cleo and Etho dance like they have no plan whatsoever. They are dancing with different styles to different tunes in their heads but somehow it just works? Toes are getting stepped on and elbows are getting bruised but they don't seem to notice or mind. This dance has worked for them for years, no reason to change it up now!

Scrolling through the BNHA tag on AO3 and while it does make me very happy to see so many Aizawa + Izuku centric fics it also makes me sad bc WHAT ABOUT ALL MIGHT. I know canon has established how much Aizawa cares about his kids and Izuku specifically but Toshi loved him FIRST!! Toshi was the one to take Izuku under his wing and train him and care for him and help raise him and mentor him and LIVE for him despite everything telling him he couldn’t. And he was the one who refused to let Izuku go off on his own and did everything in his power to make sure he was at least eating and sleeping and being cared for despite being and feeling so powerless. Toshi’s such an important part of Izuku’s life and people need!! To address that more!! That’s his DAD!!!!

Anyway I see the ‘All Might bashing’ tag and immediately scroll past. I don’t trust you if you don’t love and appreciate Yagi Toshinori and his place in Izuku’s life like he deserves

i think the thing for me and the thing that's actually bothering me the most in general is that i don't think any show in 911's category that i've ever watched (that is: network tv shows that run on a weekly basis for most of the year with no definitive or planned ending until cancellation) has gotten better after killing off a main character

Ahem ahem. So. From a meta standpoint? I just have a very, very weird feeling about what's going on with tsams now that they've Also changed Lunar's name. The only information we have on what's happening is from Discord, where Kat mentioned it wasn't her choice to change Earth's name and the mods reassuring everyone that the changes are for a good reason. I've been seeing theories that the changes are to make them more sellable for merch? But I,, don't fully know why they'd have to change their own OCs for that? So idk

From a story perspective though? It doesn't make sense and it's just another vein of Lunar having no choice in what happens to them.

Just because Libra asked "do you accept this permanent name change?" doesn't mean that "no" was a valid answer, because then what would have happened? They say "actually, I like my name, Lunar feels fine" and then what? The astrals, of which are famously judgy and pushy, say "okay, we'll continue to call you Lunar then! (Even though we just said that Lunar is an unfitting astral name)" like?!?!!??? And Lunar just immediately goes home to be like "uh. I guess I have a different name now? and I don't wanna deal with two names, so just call me Cosmos too."

They didn't make this choice. And honestly! They couldn't have because Lunar wouldn't have ever changed their name of their own volition!!! You can't tell me that Lunar—the character who is known for trying to cling onto a sense of identity so hard that it causes more problems for them in the long run—would be willing to let go of their own name? That is the one thing about them that actually hasn't changed since the beginning, the one thing that's consistent in the face of everything.

Plus, on a more personal note? I had an experience with my old username where everyone was calling me a nickname derived from my url instead of my actual chosen name, and the realization that only one person was calling me my actual preferred name made me have a messy identity crisis. If Lunar wasn't just, a character who is unfortunately the subject of bad writing lately, this choice would probably hit them at some point. They'd probably have that same awful, dreadful feeling of "oh god. no one even knows me."

It's just. Earth made sense because she at least gave her own reasons. She said "yeah I'm tryna be my own person now, so I'm Terra!" but Lunar's reason was just "uh. Libra gave it to me sooo.... 👍 yup." Like. augghhh. They could have gone by both Lunar and Cosmos too if the writing wasn't being so weird but !!! ugh. deflates. it's whateverrrrr

yes i know yasammy are getting back together next season. yes i know their relationship will be stronger for it. yes i know it makes sense that this happened, and i know it will probably result in a lot of necessary character growth for both yaz and sammy. that doesn't change the fact that the optics of directly juxtaposing the (presumably but not definitively cishet, if only on the principle of "innocent until proven guilty") white m/f couple we've had for four entire episodes living their best lives and kissing just as many times if not more times on-screen than yasammy have since they got together in jwcc s5 against the sapphic couple (both parties being woc) breaking up (arguably for the third time already, since we've seen them separate twice before they were ever made an official couple) is ... not good. and that gia inadverdently centering her own feelings in sammy's breakup felt like the added insult to injury for a lot people. multiple things can be true at once

The patriarchy isn't a system that rewards masculinity above all else, it is a system meant to keep straight cis men in power and prescribes people roles based on sex characteristics at birth (often forcibly assigning people a role) and deviation from those roles is reacted to with violence to "correct" it, and trans men are oppressed under the patriarchy bc of this. Idk how to say this delicately, but if someone is born with a womb they are seen as a broodmare. Women and people socially pressured to be women are valued primarily based on their ability to give birth. The same social pressure that tells a trans woman she isn't a "real woman" bc she can't give birth is the same that scare mongers about "irreversible damage" and the fertility of peoples "daughters" and it's just so frustrating to go on twitter and see people being deliberately stupid and obtuse about this. What gets to me most is the backhanded affirmation. These people aren't saying "trans men are men" bc they care about respecting trans men, they just wanna erase the idea that these men face any oppression for being trans.

Today has been raining A LOT which I find it oddly appropriate, since the moody sad weather fits perfectly. no but seriously, i wasn't even deeply emotionally invested anymore because the writing was so so so stupid by then, but The Blacklist started with "i'll only talk to Lizzy Keen"/this one random fbi lady (who i adored for a while) is the key to the whole plot!!! and Red's mysterious past!!!

and then it meandered for 8 seasons and killed her off randomly in a park with a sniper. and then kept going for another 2 seasons without 'the key to the whole story'!!!

the singular most absurd failed potential followed by load bearing character death of my entire 20+ years in fandom. why did they?? =___=
