Hi, I stumbled upon your content while I was binging franzfan23's Toku Group Chats series. You've added so many new ships to my gallery (mostly Magine/Rekai, and I thank you for that)

Anyways, I wanted to request a minific with the prompt of Magine and Reika being mothers (either via magic baby summoning or adopt, maybe just be born from an egg like Ise) I just want those two to be happy, meanwhile Decade and Marvelous are just taking bets on if the kid will end up being a Rider or Super Sentai

Aw, thanks! The gcs actually started off as stuff Mana (@askrikkaiandhyotei /franzfan23) requested from me and it has since took on a life of its own lmao.

I haven't actually done minifics in a while, I kinda got burnt out after all the requests and life keeps happening so I don't really have the time to do them anymore lol. I'm not going to reopen requests again for the meantime, but because you asked nicely I'll try my best to do one this time~

"So, I suppose you've heard the news from through grapevine, huh?"

The pirate captain snorted as the intruder made himself at home, lounging on the couch opposite his seat at the helm of the ship. "Yeah, Gai wouldn't shut up about it." He rolled his eyes heavenward. "That kouhai of yours, what exactly can't he do with that sword of his?"

"Who knows?" Tsukasa shrugged. "Though, that serious sword lady and her robo girlfriend seemed happy enough, and the doc gave her a clean bill of health, so no one's really complaining." He absently tapped at the shutter button of his camera, as though he were itching to snap a photo.

"Her name's Magine," Marvelous said absently, twirling the key representing her team's leader in his hand. "I still don't get how the guy managed to make a half-human, half-Kikainoid baby."

"He's Book Jesus." Tsukasa said as if that explained everything. "He's already remade two worlds, I suppose this is practically child's play to the novelist." He laughed at the unintended pun he made. "Not to mention how his own kid was born." He stretched out, putting his feet up on the coffee table. "I think they're gonna split their time between universes, though I heard the sword lady's brother was trying to get them to stay with them at that base they have in Antartica. Weird place to raise a kid, but whatever."

Marvelous nodded, accepting the rather ridiculous explanation- it's not like he's heard of (or indeed, witnessed) crazier things than these claims. "So, what do you reckon the kid would be like?"

Tsukasa raised a brow at his counterpart. "Already wanting to take her Grand Power for yourself? She's not even two days old."

"You say that as if you aren't curious to see what a Kikainoid- or a half-Kikainoid in this case- would have for a Final Attack Ride," Marvelous rebutted. "So, how much do you put on the kid being a Rider?"

Tsukasa thought for a moment. "Ten thousand dollarks," he said. "And I clean the poop deck of the Galleon and the other mechs for a month," he offered. "How about you, what do you put on the sprog being a Sentai?'

"I'll match your amount," Marvelous countered. "And I'll take the blame for your shenanigans for a week."

"Just a week? My offer was a month!" Tsukasa pointed out in outrage.

"I know what you get up to. I'm not insane, Kadoya." Marvelous replied. "That doctor guy scares me, and I'm not keen on getting arrested by that copper, either."

"Fine. I agree to your terms." Tsukasa relented, but his face was set with a knowing, triumphant grin. "May the best man win, pirate."

Will papyrus ever be included in the storyline, maybe sans opening up to him about it, or he gets suspicious about sans's behavior and corners him or something?

Aaaand are there any prominent side characters that we'll see?

Papyrus notices that his brother has been leaving the house more, and at first, hes overjoyed! Sans was finally leaving the house! But, he realised after a while, that he always dodged the question as to where he was going. (Sans, being the secretive little fuck that he is, refuses to tell anyone about the ghosts.) Worried, Papyrus follows him one day, only to find him walking al the way to the park. And then he just stops, and starts talking to air.

Papyrus is CONCERNED (tm,) and goes back home to wait for Sans to come home. It takes him HOURS to come back, (he visits everyone he can,) and, when confronted, he once again try to avoid the questions.

Papyrus says he followed him, saw him talking to air, and was considering getting him professional help, his depression had been bad before, and if he was starting to see things now as well...

Sans is forced to tell the truth.

And he does. For the next few hours they sit and talk about the ghosts. Papyrus want to believe him, really, he does! But he cant help but still be worried, so says takes his phone out and googles "Nightmare - Prince" and shows him the results. He then goes through the lot of them, showing death reports, news articles, anything that appears really, and Papyrus finally believes him.

From then on, he insists Sans takes something for them every time he visits, and often makes them food to give (more often that not, its spaghetti,) and asks how they're doing. Sometimes, they go and Sans acts as a medium, for them, so Papyrus and the ghosts can talk directly.

Killer and Dream especially take a liking to him, while Dust is pretty scared of him (he looks way to much like his won brother its actually scary,) and always ask how he is when Sans comes without him.

Side characters.. It depends what you mean by that.

Every Sans you could ever want can exist here, they just might not haunt the town,

(i got lazy when drawing here, so its just a messy sketch but yk)

(Red - shot, epic - shrapnel, Fresh - car crash, Outer - fell)

Alternatively, most of the ghosts had family members, most of them had a Papyrus look alike, (Papyrus isn't reincarnated here, but every Sans deserves a Papyrus, even fate believes it so)

(Nim (Dream and Nightmares mother, Queen), Phantom (Dusts brother,) Horror had lots of siblings, ect...)

Buuut, while many of the original Undertale cast have been spread out throughout the years, Toriel, Chara and Frisk are all based in the present time.

Toriel, after the death of her son, adopts two kids, twins, who were considered "difficult" children, (really there were disabled, but why would they care about that, - Chara has some mental issues, and Frist is mute and has sight problems.) They're lovely kids , and they visit quite regularly, typically with their mother. Sans was named their Godfather (Papyrus was considered, but he told them Sans was a better choice, ) because Toriel knew he'd love them.

Sans and Toriel met at a comedy gig, both preforming on the same day, and became friends instantly over their shared love of stupid puns. (They're not together, this universe has no canonical relationships, everyting's platonic here, but ships are totally allowed and welcome if you wanted lol.)

Holy moly, that was a lot of work lmao, would you believe it, i dont think ive ever actually drawn Papyrus before? I have no idea why, just havent, ill have to do more so in the future cus hes fun.

Ive also never tried to draw anyone from the angle Sans is at in the first drawing, think it looks fine as long as you ignore the feet lol.

No, i didnt get lazy drawing the ghost in the first, it was a stylistic choice! /j /sarcasm, also, Hi, im Whisp, i hate backgrounds!)

Please excuse me attempt at drawing a wimple for Nim and the tricorned hat for Phantom, they're very difficult!

All of Horrors siblings there don't have names, they were just designed on the spot really, so if anyone has and names for them, ill take them on board!

Buggy and Everly met 6 years ago. She saw his wanted poster in the newspaper and learned about his devil’s fruit. She thought he was cute >_> also she knew her ability was a great match for his, and that she would be of use on his ship

She was a bit devious and paid off news coos to learn where Buggy’s ship was headed next. When he docked at her island, which is known for its ale (she figured he’d be by eventually for that…), she found his ship and asked for a job, describing how she would be able to support his abilities with her own

She and Buggy sparred so she could show him how her power worked. He was very impressed with how she could support the chop-chop fruit with her hither-thither fruit, and the possibilities excited him, as her power ups his by about 4x the speed and strength of his attacks

Everly liked him right away, but didn’t start flirting with him until they became closer, as she didn’t want to disrespect her captain. Once Buggy insisted she call him by his name rather than his title, she started being more comfortable showing her interest

They became friends fairly quickly, and soon deemed each other each other’s best friend, as they could talk to each other about anything. Everly would know when to back off on flirting to have more serious conversations with her bestie, to his relief, as she could be pretty relentless

Buggy took her flirting to be her personality and that she was just messing with him. He was in complete denial -_- But he liked her back… he’d just never admit it. Everly was too worried about ruining their friendship to ever actually confess to him

Buggy ended up confessing one night after they had been drinking. Literally 6 years after they met. It took Buggy a shit-ton of liquid courage to do so, and Everly was so shook, he thought she was rejecting him. But then she kissed him and confessed back. They became official that same night lol

Buggy flirts back once they’re officially together, but he’s still nowhere near as seasoned as Everly, and she regularly bests him in their flirt-offs. He ends up a flustered mess even if he was the one to start their game

She is self-conscious about her laugh (“dokokoko”), but if someone calls it annoying, she laughs harder just to spite them

She can’t help but flirt with Buggy, she constantly makes double entendres and dirty puns around him, and it makes him so flustered she just can’t stop torturing him she loves it

She can switch from extremely flirtatious and sexual to “who, me?” in an instant, which makes Buggy both turned on and pissed off at her antics

She almost exclusively wears dresses and skirts because her height (7’4”) makes it impossible to find pants — they always end up as capris on her

She makes her own clothes sometimes, so she does own some pairs of pants. She made the dress she usually wears (the patchwork one) — it was one of her first dresses and she’s very proud of it

She is quite strong, and is able to carry Buggy around no problem. She can literally bench press him, too, which she has done to his shock and delight lmao

She weighs a lot more than Buggy as she is 13 inches taller than him, and he likes to lay on top of her in bed like a weighted blanket

She isn’t very good at dancing, as her long limbs make her look on the awkward side, but she loves dancing with Buggy. She especially loves silly dances like the mashed potato

In her 20s (she is 37 now) she did some drag shows. Her drag persona is named Ev and he usually wears messy formal wear, like nice shirts that are half unbuttoned, halfway tucked into slacks

Once she and Buggy played out a fantasy and she dressed in drag and seduced him as Ev 👀 He was very, very into it

Sometimes she wears boxer briefs, other times nice lingerie. Depends on her mood

She will borrow Buggy’s clothes, especially his t-shirts, which are small on her so they become crop tops lol. Buggy loves this

She likes being chivalrous to Buggy, like opening doors for him and kissing his knuckles, which he feels weird about loving so much

She has a habit of calling Buggy “babygirl” and “baby,” which, again, he feels weird about loving so much

She’s the type of woman who calls herself “Momma” sometimes, like she’ll say, “Let Momma take care of you” if Buggy is sad, or sleepy. She doesn’t mean it sexually, though

She loves doting on people and making them relaxed and calm. She has a way with words when comforting people

That one time I tried to move blogs after a six month hiatus and then gave up lol. My alt still exists (@tissyfits if u wanna go for it) but I never like. Log in or use it. So

Materfred - important and vital. Ship between Manfred von karma from ace attorney and mater from cars. I wrote several fics. I reskinned the entirety of my immortal for them. I made a carrd for them (materfred.carrd.co). They are somewhat known because my tags abt them on a post got screenshotted and then the OP of that post blocked me (entirely fair it was a plague upon their notes)

The metis cykes obsession - metis cykes is a minor character in the fifth ace attorney game who has been dead for 7 years by the time the story starts and she has no dialogue. There are seven pictures of her in existence and two of those are of her corpse. I loved her I LOOOOVED her it was like spiritual, I've kinned for fun on and off but I was LITERALLY her IRL for like 6 months. To this day my feelings on aurametis are staunch like stone

The lamp blog - I used to have a huuuge hateboner for clay terran as a symbol of fandom latching onto background men instead of woman characters, and, spurred on by my friend group at the time, I made a blog called yourfavehasfewerficsthanthislamp where I just compared the number of fics XYZ character had next to the number of fics terran had. It was an obsessive hate-cycle which did nothing to actually uplift female characters and the methodology was intensely flawed (shoutout to the 'neopets has fewer fics than terran' submission - I mean, yeah, but I feel like you can't use that to say he is more popular than fuckin neopets. Or that neopets is a poor neglected soul that needs more fanfiction written about it) but hey at least I got reposted to Twitter

i very distantly remember you asking for Idiosyncratic Ship-names for Trigun (not in those words, but thats what TV Tropes calls them. the ships where theyre labeled after words, instead of blending their names together (which the name-blending kind of ship-names TV Tropes says is called Portmanteau Ship-names)). im PRETTY SURE that Ask came from you but i cant find the Ask anymore, but, again, im?? pretty sure???? it was you?

anyway, if i recall correctly, you wanted an idea for Meryl × Vash × Wolfwood ship-name (that was idiosyncratic; as opposed to the Mashwood ship-name that is Portmanteau), and ive been wrestling with sharing mine for a while bc its a ship-name ive been using for my un-posted OC × those three, but it can be repurposed for your needs too. i should add that, for poly ships, i personally like to incorporate the number of people involved in the name. but the number 3 (as opposed to the original: 4) works in the ship-name i have. you can also ditch the number, if you want, im not your boss. or you can ditch this whole ship-name if you dont like it

but for Meryl × Vash × Wolfwood (× my OC) ive been using (DE4LOWERED) D3FLOWERED, or i guess just DEFLOWERED if you prefer no numbers

i guess you could keep the original number if you wanted to use Reader inside it tho

but yeah. that Ask has been on my brain for months now, re-popping up as i go "nah" and re-popping up again until i decided i could at least share what ive been using in private. again, you certainly dont have to use it. im not even wholly sure it was you since i cant find the Ask (but tumblr's search feature has always been garbage so im unsurprised i cannot find it)

first i want to say i am sorry for getting back to this so late! i have been very busy recently!!

it absolutely was me who was looking for idiosyncratic ship names!! i was from the age of fandom (or maybe the particular fandom??) that had quite a lot of them! specifically young justice in the mid 2010s? we had spitfire, museum heist, chalant, i think red cat? we had a ton! and i feel like i saw it in other fandoms for a bit too but it slowly died off!

i just loved how clever they were! i think i also remember at one point people also were rather poetic about ot3 names? i think i remember someone who used to tag their rey, finn, and poe ot3 content with “ot3: mosaics are just broken pieces” and that stuck with me too.

but i LOVE that you’ve shared your own poly ship names with your OC and so generously offered them up for what we know as mashwood right now!! i love the inclusion of the number too!! i feel like back in the day, id tag it like this “ot3: d3flowered” WHICH IS FUN!

i tried thinking of one for them along the same lines of the “museum heist” ot3 which was robin x wally x artemis from young justice…..which if you shortened their names would get robwallart…which then became museum heist! because of the play on the words their name formed, which looked and sounded like “robbing wall art”

so i was kinda trying to play with mashwood like that because their names together currently invoke like….a forest? marshy forest? couldn’t figure out something i liked but i did like the forest imagery, since their planet no longer has them and in ways, they represent a beacon of hope for the planet.

d3flowered is lovely though!!

also obsessed with your oc and other ship names too….thats SO fun. ringing bell-flower is really evocative. i love the thought you’ve put into this.

makes me want to come up with ship names for my reader ocs and these characters…..i feel like with wolfwood i at least have this reoccurring “hellcat” reader….

Remember that one ask with Jujustsu Kaisen x NSR ideas? Yes. It is I who has descended again. I will write about those characters and those NSR powers bc I will implode if I don't/hj... here we go.

Note this will be focusing on the Hidden Inventory arc and its characters bc it will be closer to the NSR timeline and less characters to write about and might contain spoilers (the explanation down below is messy so I highly recommend you read the wiki page to figure out what I am trying to say)

Gojo Satoru (he/him): In canon JJK, he is keyed as "The Strongest". The one sorcerer who is practically invincible and has a lot of cursed skills up his sleeve, and leads the current cast as a teacher. He has a skill known as "six eyes" which allows him to perform all of his skills that manipulate the world on the atomic level. However, in the past, he was a bratty manchild teenager with too much of an ego. So we will have the latter brat Satoru as the lead. In the NSR world, he could have literally six blue eyes, and have the NSR world's equivalent of albinism which ends with his skin and hair being white. ... he could still be overpowered and ended up being shipped to Nueva York from Japan or caused some huge shit to end up in the US. Is Suguru's one and only best friend.

Geto Suguru (he/him in canon but sure gives off he/they vibes): in canon JJK, he is seen as the worse curse user, who wants to get rid of non curse users to make a perfect world. (As the sorcerers were sending the younger ones to fight cursed spirits, just for many of them to die) In the past, he is a stoic serious kid who wants to protect the weak using his gift of being able to take in cursed spirits. In the NSR world, maybe they could see dead people and ghosts and maybe even control ghosts like a necromancer. Probably looks like canon, with less of the dye job treatment. Might have ended up in Nueva York due to a)Satoru's shinanigans, or b) family not being able to handle their rare talent, since they were the only one to have it. Is Satoru's one and only best friend.

Shoko Ieiri (she/her but gives off she/it/they vibes): in canon JJK, she is the main protagonist's school doctor who can heal wounds using the rare Reverse Cursed Technique. In the past, they are Satoru and Suguru's close friend, who is still learning to use their technique. In the NSR world, it could have a glass body (since its name in Japanese is 硝子, literally the kanji for glass) and a humanoid head (unlike Sarabi) which kinda explains why it did not go to missions (to clarify, no, Shoko is a flesh and blood human in JJK, they just did not go to curse exorcising missions like the rest of the gang) They ended up in Nueva York by probably getting roped in with Satoru and Suguru.

Kento Nanami (he/him): in canon JJK, he is a salaryman-turned sorcerer, who despite acting stoic, has a genuine will to protect the students. In the past, he acts like a goth and looks like one, idk how else to explain it. His skill is Ratio, which can split things in the ratio of 7:3, creating a weak spot just there(a pun for the surname Nanami, which sounds like 7 and 3 pronounced in Japanese). In the NSR world, he could have the split skin condition like Eve except his skin is split in the ratio of 7:3. Is often compared to Eve and not happy about it. Still has the ability to split things in 7:3, and ended up in Nueva York most likely due to Satoru and Suguru.

Yu Haibara (he/him): in canon past JJK, he is Kento's classmate, and acts very cheerfully unlike Kento who looks like an emo teen 24/7... we sadly have no idea what his cursed skill is so we might have to improv here... in the NSR world he could be a black and white character like Noir, since his surname contains the kanji meaning "ash". Unlike Noir his skin is like that from birth.

Gonna put all my thoughts under a read more since your ask is already pretty long and I don’t want to make it even longer lol. (also I already answered and queued the first JJK ask so whenever that comes out it won’t have anything related to do with this ask).

I’ll do my best to keep up and will try to look at the wiki if I am starting to get lost! (Gonna respond as I read along instead of reading entirely and then going back and responding)

-Gojo Satoru:

I feel like his powers kinda feel like a stronger version of Eve’s powers (not even counting the “eye” motif that is being used too lol).

You said he was a bratty teenager and so we will be using that version, does that mean all the characters are going to be teens or does that mean his teen personality is going to be given to his adult version? Sorry the wording was a little weird (and you said he is a teacher so the others might already be young and can’t be aged down). That being said though, I think having him be a teen and not having full control of his powers is a necessary step for being sent to Nueva York (an adult also works but he has to not have control over a lot of power).

Honestly, if you really want, he could be either a counselor at Nueva York or he could have his own organization that teaches people with powers like him to control their powers. I said in my other ask (whenever that one gets posted) that people with low skill that aren’t really a danger don’t really go to Nueva York. So anyone with powers like Satoru (similar in a way of how they work, not in the actual power) could be taught to strengthen and control their power by being in this school/organization.

Also, you talking about albinism really makes me wonder what albinism in NSR would look like. Since white skin and hair are very natural in this world, being all white wouldn’t be all that abnormal (well having the same hair and skin color is a skin condition I think exists, but it wouldn’t be considered albinism).

Maybe if you have off white colors, or are fully white there is a case it is albinism OR it could be a case of the same color condition. The two make the classification hard for people since someone with albinism would need more treatment than someone with the same color condition. Having two different off white colors would be a sign of albinism, but could also be mistaken for natural coloring, while having two of the same off white colors could be albinism or mistaken for same colored skin and hair condition (anyway this is not the point of the ask).

-Geto Suguru:

The powers you suggest would have to bring up the case of if ghosts exist or not. Which honestly I don’t know how I want to handle to be honest. I do like the idea of ghosts and afterlifes and stuff, but I also like keeping it as either an unknown or not actually real. Mainly because I think it can get into trouble with people who had lost someone and wants to see them (someone like Neon J would have searched out someone with this power to try and talk to his crewmates).

Plus honestly I don’t like the idea of necromancy being in the standard NSR world. If this was one of my fantasy AUs, then absolutely! Neon J is actually a necromancer in one of my AUs, so Suguru would fit in with that kind of power! However, in the “normal” NSR/NSpidR AU, I would rather not have that kind of power (or the concreteness of ghosts/afterlife).

Had to look at the wiki for more explanation of his powers (and realized that “the worst” means dangerous and not a shitty magic user lol) and he seems to have an absorption power where he can absorb curses and use them later on. I think this could be a neat mimic ability where they can absorb someone’s power, making the user weaker and potentially disabling their power temporarily or permanently (depending on the length of absorption), and then use that ability for some time (again, depending on how much was absorbed).

This would be a highly dangerous power to have, as they could end up taking whole powers from people and gaining those powers (maybe not to the same level as the original user though). So like, if they absorbed Tatiana’s powers for a little bit, they could replicate some of her power while she could no longer do her stronger abilities (and her normal abilities are weakened). This would last for, idk, maybe a day or two and then they can only use like the weakest form of that power from then on (maybe making a small lighter fire off his finder or something like that).

If they continue to absorb her power, then Tatiana could have even more weakened fire powers and time powers, possibly temporarily disabled powers too. This would give Suguru even more control of these powers, being able to use even stronger abilities, and have the powers for an even longer aftermath (maybe like a week or two). Once the powers are diminished in his inventory, he could still do fire and time magic (even better than before).

Now if he was able to absorb ALL of Tatiana’s powers, he would essentially be fully depleting her of her magic to where she could never make fire or use time manipulation at all (I don’t think it would change her biology so she’d still be made of rock/crystals). At this point, Suguru would never lose these powers, however they would never be at the same level of Tatiana’s original power level (so like if Tatiana was lv 100, Suguru would always be lv 75 or something, which is still strong and with other powers added in, they make up for the deficit).

If the person only has their power absorbed for a little bit, or even temporarily disabled, they will be able to get back to their full power as time goes on (maybe taking a few days to a few months to get back to normal depending on how much was absorbed). This is because they naturally have this magic/power while Suguru doesn’t, so he can’t just conjure more of the magic up without absorbing more of it. (and to fully absorb someone’s power takes quite a bit of time, so he would either have to get them to stop fighting back, knock them out, restrain them, or trick them into letting him take all their power, so he probably doesn’t have a lot of super strong permanent powers, but he still has some).

So yeah, if you want they could also be a counselor at Nueva York, probably is the one who came up with the Go-Home-Machine (or whatever it is called, I forget lol). I can see them actually being like Olivia where they both have their own motives for working at Nueva York, very selfish and not all that really helpful motives.

If you want to go with an entirely different school/organization that Suguru and Satoru run, Suguru could be a really good teacher who is able to mimic abilities and help teach people how to strengthen their powers (what better way to teach a plant person than to also use plant magic? :3)

And then, if you want them to be sent to Nueva York, then what could have happened is that Satoru and Suguru tried tricking people into giving up their powers or something, maybe even trying to trick Miguel (as he went to see what all the commotion was personally with this case) and both got sent to Nueva York because of how dangerous they were (especially Suguru).

-Shoko Ieiri:

Oh! OH! I have an idea! What if Shoko does still have healing powers, but its powers sometime get out of control and do that horror thing where the cells continue to grow and regenerate at an alarming rate and cause severe harm to the person getting healed. It would be horrible and traumatic but also a perfect excuse to be put into Nueva York because that is an extremely dangerous power to have with no control!

I also love the glass elemental idea! For some reason I think also having them being also a plant or light elemental would be cool. Like you can see the inside of her body being roots or liquid light, something like that. Mainly because plants are used in healing and there’s the idea of healing light or something like that. If that’s the case you can also add burns from the light or accidentally infecting people with fungus/invasive plants while healing (like imagine a small seed gets on someone while she is healing them and then the healing makes the seed take root into that person’s body and now that person has to have their body part removed because the roots are clogging up their veins and eating away at their body making them decompose but the healing magic just keeps healing them up. It would be a very painful could of seconds/minutes before Shoko realizes what the fuck is happening).

Now as for why it would get roped into Satoru and Suguru’s shenanigans, I can see it being the main selling point of drawing people in. Weak people come in to get healed by it, Suguru takes their power as payment, Satoru is like the face of the operation or something, and Shoko is the healer who actually does help people at the cost of their powers. That’s really the only thing I can think of that would work given my limited knowledge.

Once one of the treatments go wrong (healing wise and probably power wise, as I can see some people NEEDING their powers to survive), Satoru tries to use his powers to cover the whole thing up, which just catches Miguel’s attention and so he (along with some other counselors probably) end up going directly to these three to confront them, and then detain them after seeing the shit they have pulled.

-Kento Nanami:

Oh this guy’s power is actually really flipping cool. Like at first I thought it was weird (kinda stupid) but the wiki showing him cutting someone’s arm off at the break point is definitely something I did not think about (Idk what I thought at first his power could do, but that was not one of the abilities. That is so creative).

Definitely a strange power to have but I think this one could definitely work in NSR, maybe has to be tweaked a bit but I honestly don’t know how to do so since this is such a creative and unique power to have, so for now it will just stay as is.

I think him not being related to Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko’s crimes would be a better fit. Sure he could have been helping them, but I think him doing his own thing in the same vicinity and being caught only because Miguel and others are close by would be a cool thing to have. I don’t know what got him caught, maybe he was showing off his powers, Miguel or someone questions him, and then thinks he is a threat because this person could take down entire buildings or cut people in… well not in half, but you know lol.

So Nanami gets taken away because the other three brought attention to him by accident with their little stunts being pulled.

-Yu Haibara:

Read his wiki and he told Geto “ that he likes when he does things that only he can do” so I think he would definitely have a unique power, but I have no idea really what that would be (or at least a rare power). His family is also not sorcerers so he is definitely the only person with a power in his family, which is why he would probably be sent to Nueva York.

Honestly that could be why this whole thing starts. Yu’s family calls in Nueva York for help, Nanami gets caught up in the intervention or whatever it would be called. And then, the counselor who went to check up on Yu gets wind of Satoru, Suguru, and Shoko’s schemes, which brings in a few other counselors and Miguel as this threat seems a lot bigger than the standard cases they have where one or two counselors would be fine to send in.

Anyway! Back to Yu! I do like the monochrome/no color thinking like Noir, but it is natural. Maybe something can also be related to plants or something because the wiki says his surname also has the kanji “meadow.”

For some reason I am just thinking about Yu being made of actual ash and grass (maybe like black mondo grass) or something like that. His body would be intangible at times, think like Crocodile from One Piece. So this power could be really bad to have because you could accidentally hurt people’s lungs by spreading ash in the air (plus when ash gets in contact with water/a wet place like the inside of someone’s lungs, it gets super sticky and I think turns into a kind of cement, which you don’t want in your lungs).

So Yu is seen as dangerous because of the nature of his powers, and is sent away to learn to control his powers. Maybe the counselor sees Yu and Nanami playing around with their powers, Nanami ends up “cutting” Yu’s arm (Yu is entirely fine and stuff), which makes the counselor ask questions, gets to know the nature of Nanami’s powers, and decide he should also be taken in (and then the counselor finds out about the other three, Miguel comes, and they all go back to Nueva York).

And yeah! That’s all I really have for ideas given what you told me about! The show seems pretty cool, though I don’t think I will be watching it anytime soon (I am already procrastinating so much other content). Hope my ideas and stuff were entertaining and relatively good for a media I know nothing about lol :D

Chronotrek: Strange New Worlds Part 1

I've now finished Enterprise and Discover seasons 1 and 2, as well as all the Short Treks up to Children of Mars.

For those of you who are just finding this (sorry for invading your SNW tag), when I started this 'project', I had only seen a handful of episodes of ANY Trek content and the JJ Abrams movies. I decided to watch all the Star Trek canon in in-universe chronological order. Well, simplified. I watch typically while I'm working, so not only might I miss a few things when I get focused, but I also can't just switch episodes on the fly, so I'm only switching at the ends of seasons. No "this episode had time travel and they went back 300 years, so it should be between these two episodes of a different show" stuff. But I am splitting Disco at the end of season 2 so I've finished Season 2 and will pick up 3 after I finish ALL THE REST OF TREK :scream:

Ok! On to Strange New Worlds Season 1!

Interesting intro... retro but modern, very colorful (like they said their uniforms were when Pike was introduced on Disco 2x1 :joy:)

Tell me Number One never has a name. I think that was an excellent running gag.

Pike looks like Chris Pine with that beard. I thought that was the former Admiral Cromwell until they showed her face, like it was a flashback. I don't actually know what the dates of everything are, so the date flashing on the screen means nothing. lol

I thought she looked a little familiar, but did not recognize Melanie Scrofano.

At first I thought it was flashing all the way back to Archer's dad and the warp engine. That was in Montana too, right? Were Pike and Archer both horse guys from Montana or am I confusing the two?

Aww Spock guessed right, her name IS Una. Which... is number one :Joy: omg I thought I wouldn't like her being named but the name is a PUN?? I take it back.

Shuttle Stamets?? They named a shuttle after him?

So I guess they retconned the last tiny bit of Disco season 2? Where Spock shows up without a beard and they go off doing things.

And a ship named for Archer.

Mentions of Lt Kirk along with Uhura on the bridge... I know those names.

That should be 'you have the conn' not the comm. >.>

So Pike is scared of what he saw in the time crystal. Not issues with the Discovery 'disappearance.'

Jumping right to the 'another civilization is following the same kind of historical story beats' so we're going down to Alien!World War II or Alien!Civil War Part 2.

Episode 2 Children of the Comet

Shades of Hoshi Sato there- the comms officer who knows way too many languages and is afraid of away missions. It's weird because I know that Uhura is an OG character, so Hoshi came after her, but this show is after Enterprise (and I haven't seen OG Trek) so to me, she's Sato II not the other way around.

Why would you take a man's helmet off after a blow? One, you're wearing the helmets for a reason. Can you breathe? Two, if he had a head or neck injury the helmet could be the only thing keeping him from getting injured even worse.

She has a pretty voice.

I mean... the comet _let them go_ shouldn't the Shepherds respect that?

There is a reason things like 150 and 180 are said 'one-five-oh' or 'one-eight-zero' and not one-fifty or one-eighty. It could cause miscommunication, confusing it for 115/118.

"Maybe don't judge our faith next time." Pike's smirk saying 'we made your god change its mind.' ...so then they explain how the comet is precognitive? It is fate and not science? That seems antithetical to Trek? I thought science was the god Trek worshipped.

I don't like Spock's little curls on the ends of his sideburns.

Episode 3

Yet another reason that the highest level officers shouldn't be on away teams- when someone gets infected with something at impairs their decision making and such who is in charge of the ship, bad things can happen.

Number One has a last name too? And not just one but two!

She just fuckin' carries a full grown man over her shoulder like it's nothing. That's a dummy :joy: Why she so strong? Oh, the strength is even remarked on by the nurse. It's A Thing. She's not human? And nobody knew that? I feel like that would have been a thing noticed in all the many times Starfleet surely scans you. Like... species _has_ to be a thing that they know for medical reasons.

Rukiya means 'she rises up' in Swahili. I used that name for an NPC trans princess in my D&D game. She's The Chosen One.

A Look @ Cola (A Cowtale Ship)

Cola (Combination of Coyote and Illa)

Anxiety bros. But tbf Coy is far more stable than Illa. Their relationship would be rather soothing and the only way it’s happening is if Coy is patient enough to coax it out of Illa. Since Illa is a motherhen and pretty protective, it comes in handy for dealing with any of Coy’s anxiety and her own, she can try to help him work through his and it’d be much the same in return. There really isn’t any pressure on this relationship aside from Whip. But they’re both big dorks who can be shy at times. Basically an idiot couple. There’s not so much fighting as a lot of crying on Illa’s part, Coy is a bit too patient with her lol They match pretty well in some sense and it can make for a very easy relationship or one with too much hesitation, they could possibly bond. Friendship wise it’s more or less the same but Illa is far more invested in helping Coy come out of his shell comfortably and setting him up to be comfy. A breakup would be...bad. Illa is likely to just try the “stay friends'' routine but it’s doubtful Coy is gonna be down for it. They would likely end up actively avoiding each other because neither of them can adult feelings.

Random HCs

Coy sometimes does her hair, not well but he likes hair and she likes hers being played with. Yes they’ve had to cut her hair out of his hands.

Illa pretty much lives in Coys clothes, particularly his jacket. But that’s his jacket so he pouts.

Is terrified of Fernweh, Coy teases her about it but is also trying to work with her and her fear of birds. She thinks falconry is cool tho, just ten million feet away. Or more. Coy does zefrank style commentary to soothe her nerves.

When frustrated with her, he talks to her in German, she likes to respond in Spanish then it’s a war. It makes pointless arguments a lot easier because no feelings are really hurt and they get to be frustrated and vent before actually, ya know, working it out.

They’ve each picked up a bit of each others languages because both of them forget to elaborate when using a word the other doesn’t. They speak in awful mishmash at times.

Coy is amazingly the more “optimistic” of the two. But the bar is in hell so.

They’re pretty good at managing each others panic attacks. They’ve gotten to the point where they can mostly predict each others and work to mitigate or remove the other from the situation.

Both of them are flirty drunks and together they are idiots who try to outflirt the other. They are 100% the couple that flirts like they aren’t already together.

They sleep in trees a lot. If you can’t find them they are likely up there hiding and fell asleep.

Illa literally thought Whips name was Mi’Lord and Coy decided not to tell her because he thought it was hilarious. To this day he still teases her endlessly about it.

Coy is the little spoon more often than not. Illa calls herself his jetpack and it often leads to piggy backing once they can be bothered to get up.

Illa hates puns but there is nothing more enjoyable to her than seeing Coys exasperation every time she makes one. She makes them as ridiculous as possible on purpose.

Illa has object permanence issues with humans and Coy tends to forget people exist when working. This had led to both of them literally forgetting they are dating for weeks at a time. It amuses everyone around them to no end.

When Illa is being particularly stubborn and without self preservation Coy has a habit of sticking her up in trees so she can’t get down. She has absolutely broken an arm being stubborn about it and trying to climb down.

She wears his magic colors to make him blush. Particularly when its not her outerwear.

Illa is unaware Whip knows Spanish and tends to yell at him in it. Coy knows this and finds it hilarious and refuses to tell her.

She has no sense of direction and gets lost, Coy has to find her quite often and wonders how the hell she got there and how does she not know how she got there?!

Both are colossal dumbasses and therefore try very hard at romance but fail spectacularly. Candle light dinner? Oops the tablecloth is on fire. Get flowers? Oops she’s allergic.
