the legos got here early! :D

I was so so patient doing other stuff I had to do first, and then I built the fox house!

I think this is actually the first time I built a lego set following instructions. We had a few sets in our lego collection when I was a kid, but I primarily know this because we had some star wars stuff (a Darth Vader minifig, some light sabers, several robots, maybe some ship parts) and also some various little instruction booklets on how to put stuff together. Other than that, the sets were all mixed in with everything else, and I never built a set. It's a very different kind of enjoyable activity.

there was only one fishing rod listed in the parts list, but they gave me two, so I had the drowned use one as well. It's made of a flexible material, and it turns out that the bit that fits in the fish's mouth... also fits in the hole in the water piece! (though that may have been intended to be ice, lol)
