He dislikes the way she felt the need to apologise just then, enough for his brow to crease couple with a hard nasal huff in response while he finished up binding her injuries; not for the fact that Cloud felt her words insufficient, but rather that he felt it unnecessary.

The blond continues his work in silence, tightening the gauze to keep the swelling to a minimum and he works meticulously as though he'd done it a thousand times before, and perhaps with a little more force than was truly necessary. He's angry it would seem, at himself for letting his friends get hurt, for not being enough to prevent the threat before it dropped on them, and for making Tifa say sorry for something that she could not have prevented.

An eventual sigh, exasperated when the final tie had been dealt with, and he placed the flat of his palm over that bound leg where her wound now lay healing beneath, hot to the touch, he would need to keep an eye on the healing.

"Ain't about being more careful, Tifa. You know it's not that simple, just..." he feels himself hesitating then, mouth opening and closing again while he scrabbled to find the right words. Cloud was never good at this talking thing, always awkward, always saying the wrong things at the wrong times to the wrong people.

But Tifa... she wasn't the wrong kind of people, was she? The only constant he really had left, if he owed her nothing else at all, then a certainly level of transparency was certainly it.

"... don't hide these things, yeah? Shit like this gets us all into trouble."

His concern didn't come out the way he'd hoped it would, but it was a start, right?"

That isn't what he wants to say. It doesn't explain why he led them out here, either, when what he should have done was tell them to delete the channel and disappear somewhere and hope to forget.

He moves closer to the water, an old camera gripped in his gloved hands, recording the light reflecting off the surface.

"You know how, when you put a straw in a glass of water, the light's refracted? You can't tell where it really is anymore. That makes the water safe. Relatively." He laughs a little. "Until you need to breathe."

"Don't...do this shit, okay?" Despite the harsh sharpness in Yusuke's voice, his hands are surprisingly gentle as he cleans your wounds, doing his best to cause as little pain as possible even if being soft wasn't exactly his forte. A heavy huff makes a harsh sound through his nose. Dark brows are furrowed and pressed together. Breathing techniques that Genkai taught him help him stay cool and collected—compared to his usual attitude at least. "I know I can't exactly feel what you're going through," he starts, picking up the bandages and carefully applying them, "but I know you're strong enough to endure this, and if you ever feel like you aren't, then I'll be strong for you, okay? You don't have to do this shit. You don't have to deal with it alone." Not a moment passes after he finishes covering your wounds before he's grabbing you and gently pulling you into his lap, wrapping his arms around you and resting his head on your shoulder. "I know life can be tough and shitty sometimes...well, a lot of the time. But I know you can make it. I know you're strong. I know you can conquer living in this fucked up world, and I know that no matter what I'll be willing to carry you if you ever need a break, okay?"

He pulls you close to his chest, and you can feel each other's heartbeats thumping in unison like harmonizing drums. Yusuke firmly yet carefully grips where you'd hurt yourself, trying not to hurt you but making it clear that he would do anything if it meant you wouldn't feel the need to ever do this again.

"It may not be okay now, but...it will be, okay? Tomorrow's a new day."

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

As a soldier of fortune, Cloud’s work took him to many weird and wonderful places and in search of even weirder and more wonderful creatures. 

Todays bounty was a high one, and Cloud was no one at all if not in search of gil to fill his pockets. The very fringes of the Bone Village was his starting point, hunting for a creature that was supposedly part man part canine. 

A fantastical tale if ever there was one, and the blond had been so very close to refusing the job altogether. Even now it was marginally unclear what exactly had convinced him otherwise; possibly the money on offer... yeah... it had to be the money. 

So here he was, scouring the woodlands surrounding the excavation site without much hope of a sighting of this strange creature perhaps mutated by a nearby mako spring, perhaps a mere fable conjured by local hysteria... 

Needless to say, as Cloud would eventually slump against an aged tree with a defeated huff, that he was beginning to think he was wasting his time.
