Got my backpack all dressed up for tomorrow 😌 spent a bit deliberating on where exactly to put everything, but I am satisfied with what I got.

I also did pack an Akira keychain, though it seemed both hard to put on + its connection seemed a little flimsy, so I decided to not go thru the hassle and risk losing him. These vash & wolfwood keychains are pretty solid, & they survived 2 flights and a Lot of walking in my trip last year, so they'll hopefully be fine for this trip, too.

Always a risk to put things on a backpack with a big convention, but it's worth it to me to have them out on display

posting here bc theres less ppl following me on this blog compared to main FDJSKL but it is thundering (and therefore lightning is striking as well) currently and we've been in an intense heatwave and there's evac alerts and orders all around the area and i've just kind of been like 🧍‍♂️ for the past couple weeks trying to be chill about it bc this is the fourth or fifth year in a row of this so i am somewhat used to it but also aough :( also now i have an expensive drawing tablet that i would not be able to buy a new one of so i am trying to figure out if i should include it in my grab-n-go evac bag... its so big though and would take up so much room but RRRGHHH I DUNNO i hate these sorts of decisions 😭😭😭

The four new pokey friends just got their fancier homes. Three came from my favorite local nursery because they have great prices on pots and one was a clearance find at Big Lots. Hoping they do well and grow big. Maul (the red and black one) has a flower that's going to open soon, which is exciting. Just need to get some gravel eventually to cover the dirt.

To Do for tomorrow (in theory at least, if the spoons are there to let me manage all of it)

-One last load of laundry (that idk where im gonna put bc im outta room but. I'll figure it out)

-clean bathroom sink

-swiffer all the floors (that are safely swifferable)

-double check my room and hide any sex toys still sitting out (in my defence, my toys my room my choice where they go, but also, i think a dildo can be a nice centerpiece on a desk or shelving unit top. Ties my whole room together!)

-pause the Oh God Mum's Visiting cleaning/prepping to try and gif Tyler's part in last night's concert (I fucking*screamed* when i heard the intro to his first song and saw him run out, poor Housemate was v chill abt me losing my shit in excitement lol)

-dishes, bc that's just a thing i like doing daily now. put on music, zone out for an hour and half, come back to conscious thought to a bunch of clean dishes. what more could a man ask for (I have ideas but I'll take dishes for now)

I'm writing this out, here, so when my forgetful ass is scrolling thru things tomorrow, I'll see this and won't forget to do anything

I've been rereading ladue again and I think this time for Real this time. I will finally finish up that chapter 3 for it.

There aren't that many people who are invested in it and I have been taking FAR too long between chapters to update it. But it's my little self indulgent band au 🥺🥺🥺 so I think I'll always inevitably end up going back to it.
