ok look getting paid to do all the stupid little trainings from the comfort of my own home is super cool and leagues better than my prior work environments however the only thing worse than those stupid trainings is NOT having those stupid trainings to do, having nothing to do, and sitting here twiddling my thumbs and pretending i should be paid for this. i am going to deglove my arms

i'm on leave this week and it's remarkable and a little sad how much better my mood and energy are when i don't have to think about work, lmao. the last few months i have frequently had to ask myself "wow why am i so tired" and it turns out, being forced to work through burnout with no reprieve in sight will make you a more dour and fatigued person! wow!

I've been working on my chest and arms and trying to be on a diet bc I would very much like to be one of those skinny guys with the nice arms and big tiddies that can bloat up huge, BUT the mexican place down the street has a tuesday lunch special and I know for a fact I can fit two jumbo burritos in my belly at the same time. I'm sure you can see the conflict here

I'm working from home for the first time ever and wow....I got to sleep in, didn't have to shower and get ready, stayed in my pjs, actually had time to do some chores and make myself breakfast, and can comfortably listen to music and watch YouTube and not stress over not looking "busy enough"...while still doing all my regular work stuff....this is great

feeling this strange lack of resistance at work to anything it's almost like if u work with a manager who knows what they're doing it's not terrifying showing up every morning. and you can tell them ur feeling under the weather without fear of being fired
