Life keeps happening at me in really stupid ways but I'm going to get that thing out the door one way or another. To answer your question in a way that's a little less snide: Depending on the size of the buttons you want to make, you can expect to pay north of $400 for a button machine and a punch, plus extra for whatever paper and button materials you need. It's a good investment if you table at a lot of cons or have a business. But if you're just doing a one-off batch for a zine or some other event you're best off ordering from a company since they've already pretty much absorbed that cost. Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

Maybe drawing out a few of those animatic scenes for LP would help you get it out of your system. If you did, would you use any of your established OCs or come up with new guys?

I've thought about it. Just don't have the time right at the moment. I have a pretty clear vision of what I think Darius and Nolan and "Me" look like but it'd be kind of fun to inject OCs like my girl from WildStar. Got bigger fish to fry rn but maybe it's something I can board out when I'm ass-deep in my mania at 4 in the morning.
