Unless he was a tool, in which case, I hope they feasted on his mortal frame. I'm hoping that since he's a Neil fan he was not a tool and has not been consumed for sustenance by 12 year olds.

The ice cream is a brief scene in the first season, it's an easter egg for the plotline of Sadie and Dottie's whirlwind romance in season 2. I don't think that was included in the book, probably not, because they're actually a nod to characters in one of Terry Pratchett's novels I believe. Their romance is honestly the cutest, to the point that Neil resorted to using ridiculous plot threads of them to ward off people asking for S3 spoilers. But their canon romance, I mean, it's just insane. Muriel is an angel in season 2, they officiate the Sadie-Dottie union. I think they're a scrivener.

Absolutely bloody watch the show it's amazing. Really. It broke me and healed me in the best way and I need to rewatch the first season without the chaos of being newly kidnapped.

Gale told Dot about his condition within the first few hours of knowing eachother. Dotty has absolutely no sense of monetary value so she was happy to help him

Dotty hates being alone. In the first few days of traveling together everyone would keep to themselves but Gale, camp cook, would be out in the common space. Dotty would usually sit with him at the campfire, either reading or tinkering or making idle conversation

Gale and Dotty are both very cosmopolitan in their tastes and comforts. They love luxury, good food, good wine, dressing well, shopping, entertainment. Theyre not used to “roughing it” in the way the other companions are, and bond over the loss of luxury in their situation. They would absolutely get sidetracked at the spa together

Theyre overly competitive about lance board. They keep a tally of wins. They take it very seriously.

I hc that Dotty made the spell spark equipment for Gale. Gift giving is her love language so once they got the spell spark staff she crafted the rest of the set for him to match

Theyve been a couple since the teifling party, though they couldnt do much about it because of Gale’s fear of “exciting” the orb. Theyd know eachother for like 6 days at that point

Additionally i think i got the “last night alive scene” 12 days into the adventure so theyd only known eachother for a little more than an in game week when Gale told her he loved her

I dont think Dottys cousin liked Gale much when they first met bc he could sense the wizard hubris rolling off of him. But given enough time and Gale heaping praise on to Dot he starts to warm up to him. Then he finds out about the orb, and the godhood thing and tries to get rid of him again

Gale learning infernal to impress Dottys mother. I feel like Gale does great with moms. Like hes the friend your mom likes more then you energy.

i like to think dottore as a 'lover' would be rlly rlly out of it,, like seriously he is NOT lover material, but at that note he still is maybe just a bit. His 'love' though would be different.

He'd keep you, keep you safe, maybe give you some gifts ( cough cough compensation for his very .. confusing attitude ) but would never let you go. it's the fact that he's selfish, and the fact he's lost a whole lot of things in his life means he does not want to lose another thing — especially if it's come this far as he's doing anything he can to just keep it that way.

but he'd never actually love you.

(x) AWW I LOVE THIS ANON... You're making me brainrot heavily about those segments as well! Ahh the segment of Dottore feeling an overwhelming sense of failure always makes me... sigh. (If i get more brainrots about this one, I'll probably give him a name haha.) And we can call 04 Delta! (Greek alphabet and all.) (This got WAY longer than I anticipated. Oopsies.)

The segment that feels like he failed you is obviously very attention-starved - at this stage of Dottore's life he neglected to care about anything besides you and his other Fatui duties. Constantly pushing himself inhumanely to obtain even the slightest bit of progress for you. But always ending up with nothing to show. So seeing you awake is very... mhm, I'm not sure the best word but, it's... a lot. As much as he desires your attention (just as every other segment does) he tends to keep his distance since he's not sure to act around you. Dottore himself represses the feeling that he's failing you so he's very much more outward about being all over you, but this segment is entirely open about it and he doesn't know how to act. He looks on from afar and bears witness to your happiness instead. His greatest goal at that stage in his life finally accomplished. (But of course you're not gonna leave this poor bb alone. He gets all the kisses.)

Pretty much no one visits this segment's office, except for the occasional segment and all. He works with no other Fatuis, no, purely by himself because of his very closed-off attitude. Which is why of course when you barge into his office he's naturally caught off guard. He's like... very quiet, uncharacteristically so because like, all the segments would love to talk your ear off but not this one. Either he's quiet or grouchy and snappy to others (not you.) He just watches you as you walk around his lab, responses to your questions rather shortly. It's not that he wants to ignore you this is just... very new for him, considering how long he had to deal with you being motionless.

Until you finally have enough and just plop yourself on his desk, preventing him from doing his work. AHHH the part where you're trapped and he stares at you.... giggles insanely he so does!. Also, you are so right. The other segments do that 100% to tease you, they wanna just kiss you all over and bite and lick while you squirm and blush under them! But this segment, he wants to take in every detail about you. He wants to see how lively you are now, examine every single thing that's different from when you were asleep for so painfully long. He wants to feel how warm you are, how you respond to his movements this time. He wants to hear you simply reassure him that he did everything he could and you're thankful.

Teehee Delta... honestly I wasn't even paying much mind when I dubbed him as the serious segment but!! We're rolling with it! He's one of the segments that literally never smiles. But unlike the others who don't smile either, he's just eternally serious... like at least the Akademiya segment is grumpy and all. You're honestly kind of scared at first because at least the smiles of the others make you feel better... but obviously he is a sucker for your attention hehe, no segment can ever deny this!

You LOVE cracking bad jokes with this segment to see his reaction 😭😭 (there is none besides him staring holes into you) As you said, you can do a lot of silly things and he would just scoff and gently reprimand you, you'll wrap your arms around his head and squish it while lathering him with kisses and he'll just sigh... (the blush is very very faint.) You know that pose where people put their hand against their forehead and lean back in distress? You love doing that with Delta. It's very funny, dramatically falling back into his chest only to be met with 😐

Still, despite his stern and rough tendencies, like all the segments, he's cautious of your health, and will be blunter than others about you pushing yourself or trying to hide your pain. When it comes to your health he tolerates nothing, if it could potentially hurt you. While you're appreciative, you wish he could calm down about that a bit...

For example, if we revisit your initial concept, the major change would be that Neuvillette wouldn't be able to rig the verdict at all ; now that we know the Oratice's sentence is ultimate. But if a case similar to Childe occured/darling caught his attention in general, I think it can be the starting point of something. Neuvillette is very serious about justice but pairing it with his limited (but expanding) understanding of humans, who are supposed to be the recipient of it ; is still a concept with exponential potential. Just some thoughts on my part and if you have any new brainrots with neuvillette, please share them! I'd love love love to read your thoughts<3

alright, i’m gonna just- give my very detailed brainrot for this little thing.

so, it’s daniel, rylan and dottie based. i know canonically they met in about their freshman year old highschool, but childhood friendships hold a very special place in my heart- so in this au that i have fashioned they’ve all known each other since they were about say, 3 or some shit. now let’s get this straight, they all have very tragic fucking backstories. i really want to go into those but that would get super long heh. so they are childhood friends and just super close, none of them really get in to relationships. sure they have their crushes, but they’re so attached to one another it’s almost cheaty feeling. so after they hit college and mid twenties, they’re still together and living with one another. they decide ‘hey yknow what? i really think we’re a good trio- so let’s get married’. now to be fair, this could be seen as romantic or platonic- but i love both. so they all get married. so see also for another version i included blaze in this whole thing, but i wasn’t sure. you can choose, it works either way. his backstory isn’t crazy bad, just a lil sad at times. so they go to starlight for their fucking honeymoon- and then they have a decent time until you know the whole ein- we all know how that goes- but think about it. rylan was kidnapped within the first what? day? and knowing those guards, they want answers- and rylan was very loyal to aaron- so he probably wouldn’t have given them what they wanted, so they probably would’ve killed him. then yk dottie got controlled and then it was heavily hinted she either got left on the island or murdered- and then there’s daniel, who probably would’ve fucking killed himself if he even made it off- because all of his friends are fucking dead. it’s very tragic and gets even more so with their backstories (i explain why dottie can’t smell- which was referred to in the mini game episodes).
