never put your sleep on the back burner, 8 hours are not even enough, the younger you are the more you need sleep, especially if you are a woman. adult women generally need to sleep 9/10 hours a night, obviously the amount of sleep needed for rest depends from person to person, but always try to have a good, consistent sleep at night. if you ever think about sacrificing your sleep to study and/or procrastinate, know that you're only hurting yourself in the long run. without adequate rest, you will not be able to function properly and perform at your best the next day.

𝟮. eat nutritious meals ( 🍜 )

when was the last time you ate a nutritious, warm, homemade meal, honey? you should eat at least (AT LEAST) 3 times a day a real, cooked, warm meal that provide you with the proteins, fats and sugars your body needs to function normally. throw away packaged and over-processed snacks, they don't meet your energy needs and are simply full of empty calories that will make you feel sick and don't help your beautiful brain to function. eat lots of protein, which helps you build the muscle mass that keeps you healthy (i'll post about that) and healthy fats which keep your beautiful brain working – the brain is mostly made up of fats so don't be afraid of them! the important thing is to eat healthy fats that are good for our body.

do less to achieve more. if you've ever made an absolutely unrealistic to-do list, raise your hand. overwhelmed by a thousand things to do we will never be able to make consistent progress in an area that interests us. it is not possible to do everything all the time and do it well, inevitably our energy runs out, our level of attention drops and we end up doing a little bit of everything badly. not all tasks can have priority, choose what to focus on and stick with it.

you're really giving it your all, why be so hard on yourself? the things you have done, the goals you have achieved, you should be proud of yourself and smile about it. demanding too much from your body will not lead to anything except burnout, remember that you are a person and not a machine, that you are not made to make every single hour of your day productive, and that it is okay to rest, because only thanks to rest you can face your day with the necessary energy.

— he planted your favourite flower so whenever he looks at it, the blossom reminds him of your smile.

Even if it is in the harshest season, Ume take great care of the plant, making sure it gets enough light, giving it the proper amount of fertilizer, cleaning the pot, cutting off dry leaves and so on. In his eyes, that flower is what spiritually connected you and him so it's only right for him to want to take care of your favourite flower, right?

And once it's time for it to show its vibrant and glorious beauty, he would take the flower and make it a pressed flower bookmark so he can feel closer to you when he carries it with him all the time even if you're miles apart.

— he has your handkerchief and never give it back to you ever since.

Hiragi is someone who always carries around a lot of handkerchiefs for emergencies, but he never lets anyone else use yours; wash it, iron it, you name it, he does It all to preserve It as much as he can. But even if the handkerchief got all old and wrinkly one day, he would never throw it away.

It is his most prized treasure, and he keeps it in his breast pocket at all times so whenever he looks at it, he will be reminded of your angry face and how much you nagging at him for getting hurt as you patched him up.

— he listens to your favourite songs and remembers your humming to them while you're studying.

When you aren't around, listening to your favourite songs helps him to stay calm because he would remember that precious memory of your little performance, humming to the song as you worked through countless study books and soon enough, his head would be filled with your humming instead of the singer's voice.

And when Kaji found a song that made him think of you, he would make a whole new playlist just for that but he would never let you listen to them because it would give him away that he was constantly thinking of you while you were away.

🎐.お茶 — kiryu mitsuki

— he checked his phone 24/7 to see if there were any new text messages from you.

Kiryu is always on his phone, but while you were away for a little while, he would constantly be checking your chatroom every single time he received a notification, and when he saw it wasn't from you, he got slightly disappointed, and he does it so frequently that the people around him noticing it.

And when he does get a text from you, it's usually when you ask him if he wants any souvenirs or ask about his day and because of that, he sometimes forgets to log in to his game; everything about you is his top priority.

12 (ghibli) days until the end of classes

the last month of classes is always the most chaotic for me. My routines are completly lost, and i'm always behind all my classes, no motivation to study nor to rest, it's absolute chaos.

So I'll be trying to make those last 12 days not be wasted. And to make it a little bit more fun, I'll make those days on theme with ghibli films (coincidentally, I've only watched 12 of them as well). So

Basically I just want to make those days the more cozy, productive, but also chill possible. I'll also try to stay way less time on my phone and more engaging on my hobbies. And just have a positive mindset and kinda romanticize my life!

◇ I just finished my french baccalauréat (like a big final exam at the end of french highschool that determines a lot of your future). I was a very high achiever student, and I am still super interested by science, maths, physics, litterature, languages, history...

I like to use my past school skills to my animation projects! Like good organisation plans and stuff☆♡

Day 1/12 ghibli days - Spirited Away🍜

First day on this challenge!! Im so excited!

🐉 Reminder to myself that the goal here is to romanticize my day, since I've been feeling kinda down in the last couple of days, and get stuff done! So, I'm trying to make simple stuff like cleaning and walking nice and fun again.🐉

🫧To do list today (a little bit inspired by Chihiro):🫧

- Do my dishes ✅ - Also, finish cleaning up my bedroom ✅ - then take a nice, very relaxing shower (just writing it bc of the theme lol)✅ - read protocol for today's lab class✅ - send email to the volunteer for the data aquisition ✅ - also answer my prof's email✅ - work on the code✅ - hopefully I'll be able to study a bit at night too, but we'll see... - update didn't study to finish the code instead

🐉Mindset today: just staying calm. I think this is a great movie for the first day of the challenge bc I know I'll be overwhelmed with how much stuff I should be doing even if i do everything from my to do list. But I gotta remember to stay calm🐉
