PLATAMORIC

Platamoric is a relationship structure where two or more people feel intensely connected to one another in a purely platonic sense. They may or may not choose to label it as an attraction type, but platamoric is a relationship term above all else.

People in a platamoric relationship may compare it to “transcendent or delamouric attraction, but entirely platonic”. They may also compare it to “platonic soulmates” or feeling like the other’s “other half” in a platonic way.

Platamoric is not queerplatonic, romantic, amorous, tertiary, or any other attraction/relationship label. It is characterized by being entirely platonic!

The name comes from a combination of “plat” from platonic and “amor” for love. Platamoric relationships may feel intense like romantic, queerplatonic, etc relationships, hence the combination of “platonic” and “love”. It’s platonic love that feels extremely intense, possibly indescribable.

Flag meaning underneath the cut!

The pink stripes in the flag are a reference both to the platonic attraction flag’s use of pink, and how love is often equated with the color pink, which again combines platonic feelings and intense love toward someone. The yellow stripes are a reference to the yellow in the queerplatonic flag, showing how platamoric relationships may be similar to, but still different from queerplatonic relationships.

The stripes being paler than the flower are a reference to the transcendent attraction flag being pale. The flower is a reference to the delamour and platonic attraction flags having flower-like shapes in the center, and the star shape in the flower is how platamoric relationships might feel like they were destined to meet by some otherworldy source. It’s also a reference to how the flower-like shape on the platonic attraction flag also resembles a star, and how the delamour flag’s flower has a star shape in the middle.

I’ll do more designing on her later, but have the basic character design for willow in her spidey suit ^^

I did not go too crazy with detail because this is just the plain suit, I can go crazy with details when I’m working with her character.

I’m not the best at anatomy but I tried ok?!

Context:

She lives in a overgrown city where a mishap at a lab that focused on plants and insects, attempting to grow plants more efficiently, bring back plant species, as well as the genetic mutation on insects. (The lab was known to cut corners) it collapsed during an earthquake, causing mixing in dangerous chemicals causing plants to overgrow. She was convinced to check out the abandoned lab by her best friend, and only agreed because she loves plants and insects, so they enter the overgrown lab (the plants eventually mix with the plants outside of the lab, causing the whole city to become overgrown. Making her green suit helpful to blend in later on)

She got bit by a mutated spider that had been tested on as well as mixed with chemicals.

I’ll go deeper into the character later on (maybe)

I hope to draw out the overgrown city :]
