It's Halloween!

One of the absolute best times of the year! Treats, haunted houses, scary movies, Halloween TV specials, costumes, and listening to thrilling songs! What's not to love?

The platonic yanderes on Halloween would be a treat. If their bby likes a certain type of candy, you bet they'll have a bowl full of it for their bby! If their bby goes trick-or-treating or supervises it for the younger kids/teens, the platonic yans will likely want them to dress up with the others. They stay in a group, and the candy is checked before it's eaten. Candy trading happens, and it's serious business. Everyone has a favorite, and there are plenty of pieces to trade for!

If the platonic yan/s have a Halloween movie/TV show marathon, you can bet they'll try to get their bby to cuddle with them. How can they resist the temptation? If their bby is older, they'll watch horror movies, eating popcorn and having a bowl full of their favorite candies nearby. A younger bby isn't allowed to watch anything close to gory or terrifying, the most they'll watch are cheesy horror movies bad enough that they're funny, or TV specials. It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown will be watched, as well as the entire series of Over The Garden Wall. Blanket forts might happen, ending with the platonic yan/s and reader sleeping together in the heart of the blanket fort.

Costumes are fun, but everyone seems to have their own idea of what should be worn. Something classic, like a witch, pumpkin, or cat? Something spooky, like a ghost, vampire, or zombie? Maybe historical figures or those from mythology? Or something everyday like a chef or firefighter? Or... a theme? That is where the battle starts. What theme would fit them and the reader? And if it's the entire group, what do they do? The reader might offer something like they all dress as characters from Winnie the Pooh, or as everyones favorite animal, maybe even what monster they like the most... And if the reader dresses up as one of the platonic yanderes, they are likely being hugged by that platonic yandere (while having everyone else offer to dress the reader up as themself).

Pumpkin carving is messy, but pays off in the end. Reader can carve, and reader enjoys making different designs. Not everyone enjoys the pumpkins (due to the mess they make), but at least they can make many pumpkin pies and cakes and muffins. Pumpkin everything!

Haunted houses are explored, met with various reactions. And yes, the platonic yans make sure it is actually fake beforehand, they are not fighting some nutjob with a chainsaw, or actually letting their bby near said chainsaw-wielding nutjob. Safety first, and fun in mind. Halloween is supposed to be fun, not terrifying. (And anyone causing dangerous trouble on Halloween is met with a group of angry platonic yans who aren't having it at all).

And at the end of the night, when the reader and everyone are tired, full of candy, and ready to sleep, the group/s form a sleeping pile, made up of blankets, pillows, and blanket/pillow forts in abundance. All drifting off, watching silly Halloween specials, simply glad to have had fun and happily lulled under by the warmth and companionship. They can all rest happy, knowing they had a memorable Halloween with each other...
