S TIER-

Goo-Sonic Youth: Straight bangers all the way through. Girls love it when you show them your Sonic Youth cd. Extra points cuz the pamphlet unfolds into a sick poster

Midnight Vultures-Beck: Good album to clean the house to. Every song a banger. Beck as a person sets off alarms, though 🤔

Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot-Sparklehorse: Genuinely my favorite artist and album of all time. Fall asleep to Homecoming Queen often.

Siamese Dream-Smashing Pumpkins: Fire straight though. Good when you’re in a depressed 20-something mood. Better than Mellon Collie in my humble opinion.

Gorillaz-Gorillaz: The start of one of my favorite bands and objectively one of the best bands in the world don’t fight me on it I’ll kill you.

A TIER-

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots-The Flaming Lips: Solid album. Iconic cover art. “Do You Realize??” always got me feeling feelings

Violent Femmes-Violent Femmes: Top 3 favorite band. Every song went platinum in my household. Would have been higher but reminds me of my mom too much.

Dig Me Out- Sleater-Kinney: Got it because the name sounded familiar. Ended up loving them! Doesn’t sound right if it’s not played loud, though, and considering I live in an apartment, I don’t play it often.

Fear Yourself-Daniel Johnston: Got it because I love “Hi, How Are You” but haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Was pleasantly surprised! Hits the same melancholy spot but slightly more upbeat.

Figure 8-Elliot Smith: My favorite sad boy that definitely DIDN’T kill himself. Not my favorite Elliot album but every one of his albums is A tier personally.

The Diary of Alicia Keys-Alicia Keys: WENT QUADRUPLE PLATINUM IN OUR HOUSEHOLD. Prime cleaning the house on Sunday music. Dragon Days is seriously underrated.

Garbage-Garbage: Don’t know how to say this without sounding insane but this album sounds like the color #DC007F and I like that color a lot

Money for Nothing- Dire Straits: Top tier dad music.

Lumine fever- The Adrenals: Got it cuz the cover looked cool. Was pleasantly surprised! They rock the adequate amount

Rocket to Russia- Ramones: They’re good but I don’t get the hype honestly. They’re the Flavor-Aid of Punk

Starfish- The Church: Only love one song on it, the only song anyone likes tbh. The rest are your standard 80s deal

Crooked Rain-Pavement: I really love Pavement but there is a thing as too much Pavement and I think I’ve reached it

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot-Wilco: Honestly should have been in A tier but all the pretentious music dudes I’ve met has soured this album for me so it goes in B outta spite. Jesus Etc my fave song tho

An Evening with Silk Sonic- Silk Sonic: Nice, short, gets me in a happy mood. Does what it needs to do!

Prolonging the Magic- Cake: John McCrea don’t really be singing, do he? He just fancy talkin

C TIER-

Gigantic, Fuel, and The Nixons: I got all 3 on sale and they all sound the same and that sound is…ok? Like it’s alright background music

Blind Melon-Blind Melon: What was with 90’s bands putting random kids as their album covers? Decent listen, though.

Summerteeth-Wilco: Good background music. I can’t remember any songs off it.

Los Angeles/Wild Gift-X: I like X but I hate that fucking album art omg it’s so hard to look at. I like their songs individually but as a cohesive album, eh.

D TIER-

Throwing Copper-Live: bought it on sale with the above 3 but liked this one substantially less. Only redeeming quality to me is the album art.

Ben Folds Five-Ben Folds Five: Misleading considering there’s only 3 of them. He sounds like my ex boyfriend from highschool before I realized I liked girls

F Tier-

The Ragetones/Fall Apart-The Ragetones: Saw them play at a shitting basement show. Everything sounds better when you can barely hear yourself think.

F Punk-Big Audio Dynamite: Found it at the thrift and rehomed it outta pity. Sounds like the 80s in a bad way.

a/n: where my blue lock fandom at omg 😢 it was raining really hard from where i’m from and i was listening to “still with you” by jungkook and i was reminded of nagi for some reason so why not write a cute one-shot ! it’s short ik i’m sorry 😞

you were on your way back to your apartment after clocking out of your part time job. the sky was grey due to all these clouds and it was also heavily raining. you were exhausted, and all you wanted to do was go home, take a shower, lay down and sleep. you’ve been losing sleep these past few days because of school, your job, and other things. you just wanted a break.

as you arrived infront of your apartment door, you heard some noise inside of your apartment. ‘what the hell?’ you questioned in your mind, wondering what could possibly be happening in there. you quickly unlocked your door and entered only to see nagi on your couch playing with his phone.

“nagi? what are you doing here?” you questioned as you took off your drenched coat and hung it up on the coat hanger. “i came here and waited for you to arrive.” he said, his eyes not leaving the screen.

“you know you could’ve given me a warning before coming in to my house” “you were the one that gave me the key to your house.” “..fair enough.” you sighed as you plopped down on the space next to him. he looked up from his screen to look at you. you had your eyes closed, head back, and he could obviously tell you were stressed.

“..are you okay?” he asked, setting his phone down and removing the blanket on top of his head. “yeah, i guess” you lied as you slowly open your eyes to look at him. “you’re lying.” “i’m not i swear.” “tell me what’s wrong.” you sighed and brought your head up to look at him more clearly. “there’s a lot of things that have been stressing me out lately and it just seems like i can’t catch a break.” you sighed as you put a hand on your forehead, rubbing it.

“well it’s not like that matters, just gotta finish with school, finish my shifts and everything will be fine for a bit” you said as you got up and looked back at him. “i’ll be back, i’m going to go take a quick shower, my back hurts.” you walked away as nagi just stared at you. “oh.”

after your warm shower, you got out and did everything you usually did post-shower. you put on some comfy clothes and went outside of the bathroom just to see the lights turned off, a pillow and blanket fort facing the window. the only sounds you could hear is the rain outside of the window, and nagi.. humming?

“nagi? what’s all this?” you asked as you looked inside of the fort. it has snacks, a computer, a speaker, and of course pillows and blankets. “this isn’t much, but i thought this would be a nice way to spend time and forget about everything worrying you right now. it’s not bad to have fun here and there is it?” he says as he goes in the fort and sits down. he looks up at you and pats the spot next to him, motioning you to come sit next to him.

you smiled, and sat down next to him as he picked up the speaker, “what song should i play right now?” he asks as he opens the computer and turns on the speaker, connecting the speaker to the computer.

“my friend recommended a song but i haven’t listened to it yet. it’s called ‘still with you’ by jungkook i think?” you said as you looked at nagi put spotify on the computer and typed out the song name.

the song started playing and you just listening to it while closing your eyes, not knowing nagi was looking at you with a content smile. you didn’t even notice you put your head on his shoulder. “nagi.” “yeah?” “i love you.” his eyes widened and his mouth opened a little, in a state of shock.

he turned around and looked at the rain outside of your window and replied with “..i love you too y/n” you felt your face heat up as the fact that he said it back and with your name. something about him adding your name to it made your stomach have butterflies. you knew nagi wasn’t the type to be extremely affectionate towards you because he just wasn’t used to being in a relationship with someone, so when he does show affection you know you should treasure it forever.

“nagi?”

“yeah?”

“hop on roblox.”

14, 20, and 21 for the ask game!

Side note: I thought the 2012 theme song was so fun. I've unironically pulled it up to listen to a few times lol. The Rise theme song isn't my personal favorite, but the end credit music for the movie cracks me up a little. The soundtrack for the movie as a whole is incredible and dynamic and then there's this funky EDM at the end I feel like only Donnie would approve of 😅 ..But anyway

14.) Which version of Splinter is your favorite? This is so hard to answer omg. I think every Splinter has a lot of amazing traits and interesting things going for them, so I had to think on this one. My answer shocked me, but I’m going with Mutant Mayhem Splinter! I just really loved his dynamic with his kids and how we got to see him grow into himself after being mutated while trying to care for the squished clay babies.

20.) Which theme song is your favorite? I am in the same boat as you, it sounds like! The 2012 theme song is my favorite! Any time I try to remember any of the other songs, that’s the one that comes to mind. It plays on repeat in my head sometimes and I welcome it because it is just so catchy! The EDM vibe of the song in the Rise movie is really fun though, I agree! I loved in the beginning after the opening, when we zoom in on the manhole cover and the really electric but muffled sound of the opening plays. Genuinely, I love that split second music more than the whole ending song lol

21.) What is your favorite story arc? another hard one…. Okay, because it was the first thing to come to mind, I’m going with tmnt 03, when Leo goes out alone in the rain and gets dogpiled by Shredder/the Foot Clan. I just loved seeing him really show his grit, while back at home Raph is wearing holes in the floor with his worried pacing. Not the mention this is where we get the classic thrown through the window scene!

best gene focused episodes of bob's burgers (in my opinion):

boys just wanna have fungus (s10ep2) AMAZING bob and gene episode he's so cute and funny in this episode AND he ends up saving the day at the end in a very non-confrontational way :) i love him wearing his lil rain jacket and going shopping for groceries for bob ("we'd probably last three days in an apocolypse with you around, gene" "a long weekend :D" makes me CRY they're so sweet)

the laser-inth (s7ep18) another great bob and gene episode!!! gene was so sweet and excited in this episode and bob was a great dad too :) love them bonding over their love and enjoyment of music and bob explaining the show to gene

a-sprout a boy (s12ep19) gene's passion for his game was so cute and he just loves playing!!! his game where he dresses up a cat in cute outfits!!!!! and i love the ending where he shows bob the song he was writing with the help of his game and bob is like wow thats actually really impressive (and i love that he goes on online discussion forums for his cat game and he was planning to make an account to post his song) really good parenting from bob in this episode in a way that isnt just the usual "supportive and chill no matter what his kids do" but actually challenging them. bob and gene grow vegetables in this episode also :)

mr lonely farts (s11ep14) this episode is such an interesting look into how gene processes negative or scary emotions and how he copes under stress like everything with ken was SUPER interesting to me!!!! him getting trapped in the basement and making his bun burger :') his song was really great and as a bonus both subplots are entertaining too

drumforgiven (s10ep11) cute episode!!! focuses mostly on louise feeling the need to protect gene and how gene deals with conflict and disagreements differently from other people, its always interesting to see him get into an arguement with one of his sisters :0 also his drum machine music was kinda banger

y tu ga-ga tambien (s8ep9) this barely counts as a gene focused episode but im including it bcuz his speech at the end is very good <3 i have felt exactly like him MANY times in my life and feeling like you're being excluded from something everyone else is doing is so hard. he's such a sweetheart

large brother, where fart thou? (s7ep5) amazing episode focused on gene and louise's relationship and how gene doesnt act like a typical older brother. him trying to be responsible when they were left home alone and he was in charge of watching louise was cute he tried so hard omg!!!! obviously the ending where gene stands up for louise is like one of the best gene moments in the show. anytime shrimp :')

stand by gene (s6ep12) once again BARELY a gene focused episode but he's in the title so it counts!!!! love to see all the kids friends hanging out together and going on an adventure and gene giving everyone piggybacks was nice to see :) just a very enjoyable episode tbh

the gene and courtney show (s6ep7) very sweet episode and i love the ending!!! i love their chemistry in this episode and the awknowledgement that they're better off as friends. gene's song for courtney at the end of this one is very sweet and kinda heartbreaking but it really shows how emotionally mature he is and how he deals with relationships <3

itty bitty ditty committee (s5ep17) i disagree with this episodes premise that gene isnt a real musician BUT its great to see him learning to play with the music teacher and him forming a band that continues to be a thing through later episodes and the movie!!! also louise and tina are great sisters in this episode

lil hard dad (s5ep14) gene saves the day once again!!!! not one of my favorite episodes tbh but gene is great in this episode and he's so funny when bob is like no i dont need a ladder and gene is like ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT and obviously the ending with him is great solid gene episode 10/10 (and him wanting to be brave and strong so that he can protect his sisters like how bob does is adorable)

best burger (s5ep5) GENE EPISODE OF ALL TIME episode that confirms his adhd also..... love him trying to help his dad and apologizing for screwing everything up and getting distracted. love bob saying that he loves gene for who he is and he doesnt want him to change. "im sorry i screw up today dad im sorry i screw up all the time" still gets me. he is so Little :(

gene it on (s4ep20) cheerleading episode :D honestly gene is just so funny in this episode i love how he's clearly Not into whatever linda has going on and bob is also so supportive its great. lives were changed

the unnatural (s3ep23) nobody expected me to put an early season episode on this list but gene is so silly in this episode i love him dearly <3 he's just a baby boy and he sucks so bad at playing baseball

oh row you didn't (s13ep12) OKAY LET ME EXPLAIN this episode is like a solid 6/10 and the moral at the end is okay but something about seeing gene's shitty green origami frog hung up in the restaurant next to the article about the rower is so sweet it almost made me cry when i was rewatching it.... also he's so funny when he and bob are rowing the boat In ocean super safe Just remember the good times

also bonus shoutout to the plight before christmas (s13ep10) which is NOT a gene episode but his subplot is so good it had to be mention he's such a talented musician!!!! also v for valentine-detta (s8ep8) which is a tina episode but i love his subplot with bob. their relationship is sooo special to me

Why the fruck do i keep listening to midnight rain and think about Obikin?

anyway! yeah, i can see why you're thinking about obikin. made me think of them in a modern au setting kinda where anakin is a singer-songwriter maybe and he becomes a breakout star and rises in popularity quickly, and it's all so thrilling and dazzling, and people love his music, his lyrics, love him, and he's just riding that high. it's everything he's been dreaming of.

and i'm thinking he's in a relationship with obi-wan before it all happens. obi-wan is a singer too, but he doesn't have any stardom ambitions though, he likes to keep it small and intimate, likes to play in smaller clubs and cozy settings because he doesn't like the glamour and hypervisibility of big popularity. he's turned down big agents before.

he's incredibly proud and happy when anakin gets his breakthrough because he knows how desperately anakin's wanted it and how hard he worked for it. and anakin wants to share it with obi-wan. so much. he wants to work with him, he wants to take him with him everywhere he goes, wants to show him off, wants to be with him and go big with him.

except obi-wan doesn't want that. he doesn't mind anakin's popularity, but he doesn't want to be dragged into it. he doesn't want to be in the spotlight, doesn't want to keep dodging calls and proposals and paparazzi and interview requests, doesn't want to have to keep justifying why he doesn't want to go big with his music (anakin's talked publicly about how his boyfriend is an amazing musician too and ofc people find obi-wan and his music). but anakin is so happy with all the adoration and attention he receives. they start fighting over it more and more because anakin keeps trying to pull obi-wan into the limelight with him while obi-wan keeps rebuffing him until obi-wan eventually decides to break up with him.

he does it because he doesn't want to stand in anakin's way and thinks it makes it easier for him to further pursue his musical career without having obi-wan by his side as a dead weight who can't give him what he wants.

anakin ofc takes the breakup as a rejection of everything that is him. he tells himself obi-wan is begrudging his success; that obi-wan secretly also aspires to be widely popular and is frustrated that anakin got everything he wanted; that he's just too afraid to go after it.

anakin writes a bunch of songs about the breakup. they're angry and sharp and fans go wild over them because omg what happened between these two?? there are wild speculations about it naturally, and anakin is flippant and arrogant about it publicly while obi-wan dodges all attempts that try to get him to talk about it (or anything else).

a couple of years pass. anakin's remains famous and popular and dazzling, and obi-wan follows his career. he's happy that anakin's music is so well received, that he's even won awards for it, but it always accompanied by a deep, deep ache. some days he misses anakin so much it's like a physical hurt.

meanwhile anakin also keeps tabs on obi-wan, despite himself. he finds a video of obi-wan playing at café that's been recorded by a fan, and he looks so good, he's laughing as he talks to the patrons before the song, and the track is so beautiful, obi-wan looks so gorgeous singing, that anakin slaps his laptop shut and almost tosses it across the room because the pain and anger eats at him with renewed vigour. he digs up some old songs, ones he's written after the breakup, the soft and achey ones, the ones he poured his pain and despair into, the wistful ones. anakin falls down a hole and spends days reworking and refining them, and when his manager hears them, they convince anakin to record them. it turns into a whole album. it's still uniquely anakin but it's different from his previous albums, it's much more vulnerable, there's a depth to it that wasn't there before, it's real and raw, and anakin tries to back out of releasing it because he's too afraid to expose himself like that. but the album becomes a huge success. he wins several awards for it, and he's so proud and at the same time utterly heartbroken because essentially, obi-wan gave him this success.

(fans speculate who the songs are about because it's been years since the breakup. some immediately link it to obi-wan, others believe it to be one of anakin's more recent hook-ups.)

obi-wan listens to the whole album as he sits in his living room. he breathes through the ache and the yearning and wonders what made anakin write these songs. it's been years after all. and the first songs were less than pleasant for obi-wan. he almost texts anakin about it. he comes really close to it. he has the message typed out, he's two glasses of wine in on an empty stomach, and he feels petty enough, but he deletes it and lets it go.

anakin half expects obi-wan to react to it in some way. he gets frustrated and irritated and embarrassed when he doesn't.

obi-wan does, however, perform a song that he wrote together with anakin and has never played before. it's a banger. people love it. videos of obi-wan singing it blaze through social media, and anakin takes a significant amount of damage when he sees it. because. what does that mean???? obi-wan is singing their song. after anakin released what he dubbed his "obi-wan albumn" in his head. but he hasn't responded to the album at all.

anakin can't stop thinking about it. which is how he ends up at one of obi-wan's sets. he bundles up and disguises himself so nobody recognizes him, and he sits through obi-wan performing, closes his eyes and listens to his voice, lets the lyrics wash over him, and realizes that a lot of his songs are about anakin. they're much more subtle but anakin knows him, knows the things obi-wan sings about, and something clicks for him.

he waits until the set is over, until there aren't any more people occupying obi-wan, before he approaches him. they both freeze when they lock eyes. they haven't seen each other in years but it somehow feels like no time has passed and like it's been an eternity all at the same time. obi-wan packs up in silence and anakin trails him wordlessly until they're in the alley behind the location.

"you're singing about us," anakin says accusatorily, and almost feels stupid that these are the first words out. "you're singing about me."

"you're doing it too," obi-wan answers as he crosses his arms over his chest, defensive. he eyes anakin warily thinking anakin is here to call him out, pick a fight, sue him maybe, he's not quite sure.

except anakin gets all up in his space and there's wonder and yearning and hope in his eyes, and he's still so hauntingly beautiful it takes obi-wan's breath away. it makes his chest tight with how much he still wants anakin, and it's even worse what with how close they are right now.

"i can't believe you're singing about me," anakin says in a hushed tone.

obi-wan smiles a bit self-deprecatingly, even as he sways closer to anakin, too. "i never stopped singing about you."

"i never stopped singing about you, too," anakin admits. and then he fists his hands into obi-wan's shirt and kisses him.

that's how they get their heads out of their asses. of course they have a reunion fuck in the alley.

It's not a book for everyone! My sister didn't like it because she didn't like that she was engaged. Which I think makes me toxic because I didn't even CARE. I love Macy and Elliot. It finally cooled down this past week (it's supposed to heat up again though). I'm doing well. This is the last week of summer school. Can't wait to be done with it. I read a trashy book this weekend and I'm hopeful I'll read another one this week. But I wrote Part 4, 5, and I'm working on 6 of Most so I've been doing literature things but I should be reading more. I need less screen time hahaha. I also watched Maxton Hall and I know it's probably a little young for me, but the enemies to lovers is my weakness.

- if you’re rolling your sleeves up, to wash your hands before dinner, he’ll whack your hands away and do it himself. very much “you’re takin’ too long, idiot. i wanna eat already. let me do it.”,, don’t be fooled tho, you could do it in 2.5 seconds and he’d still open his mouth. bc it has absolutely nothing to do with u and everything to do with him wanting to be close to you

-ik he watches the mha equivalent of the history channel. i just know it. dude is a grandpa at heart, n im so confident he would 100% sit down and watch a 3 hr docu on like, old weaponry or some nerdy shit

-bakugou is annoyingly arrogant, but only about things that don’t matter. like, he’ll fully sit in front of you and tell you he’s stronger/faster/smarter in passing conversation,, but when he does actually impressive shit??? the man clams up. absolutely clams up the second you praise him, trying to brush off whatever ridiculous feat he just pulled to protect u with a “It’s not that big a deal, shut up about it already, dumbass.” 

- pls mans is an absolute simp. u ask him to do something and he’s on his feet in a second. ofc he’s complaining but he’s also then following that up by doing things you didn’t even ask him to do. fan behavior honestly.

-when you’ve had a bad day, he’ll make u food and throw blankets in the dryer for u. don’t expect much verbal comforting from him, bc obviously, but he’s pretty good with actions. you always feel a little warmer after he’s wrapped you in a blanket n fed you something ungodly spicy

- i have absolutely no basis for this but ik he secretly watches kids movies. like, if it’s animated then he’s there. ofc no one is allowed to find out about this ‘embarrassing’ behavior tho, except maybe you. maybe. if you accidentally happen to see it bc he’d never tell u himself.

- he’s a beast to wake up in the morning, but he’s a lot more easy to convince if u pet his hair. or rub his back/shoulders. maybe even kiss his neck. look, u cannot tell me that he doesn’t want to be absolutely coddled in the morning- especially when he can get away with it so easily. 

-bakugou always pulls ur legs into his lap if u sit down next to him. pls he’s so weird, he’ll just like, tap his fingers on ur calves absentmindedly while he’s watching tv

-he never lets you get the door. like, if there’s a knock n neither of u knows who it could be,, pls he’s on his feet so fast. waving u away n looking thru the keyhole w/ sm suspicion

-he has his spot on the couch, n u will not find him sitting anywhere else. like, that’s his spot. u better pray for anybody who mistakenly takes it

-bakugou doesn’t like dirt or grime, so he won’t allow you or himself, to sit on your bed with clothes that have been outside. like, even if you’re just sitting on top of the covers, he’s gonna throw a fit and demand you change your clothes first bc “No way in hell am I gonna let your dumbass dirty up my bed.”

-katsuki rlly likes when it storms outside. he’ll go sit in front of the window and watch the rain, sipping on a warm drink while he waits for more thunder. 

-living with bakugou is incredibly frustrating, bc he’ll just show up with new skills all of the goddamn time. like you’ll be like, “hmm i’d love to remodel the bathroom someday”,, and the very next weekend bakugou is meticulously re-tiling the bathroom floor by hand, probably also painting the walls in a new color, maybe even installing a new sink just to spruce it up. n then he’ll just present the entirely new, upgraded room with such weird nonchalance that it pisses u off. pls and if you watch him while he does these little projects, with all the weird precision and skill he suddenly gains?? pls you’re sure he must be possessed by the ghost of a craftsman

- when he hangs out with the bakusquad, he’ll drag you along every time. he expects you to sit with him the entire time and act as a social buffer?? basically, someone’ll ask him a question, one he deems stupid and therefore not worth answering, and bakugou will just look at you expectantly. he’ll just stare at you blankly, hardly even blinking until you pick up the slack and answer for him. you call him out on this many times, but it doesn’t matter. it doesn’t change anything. he does this over and over and over again

-bakugou gets really unsettled when you guys fight. like, he can’t sleep and he’s snapping at everybody, and is somehow more aggressive than usual. he always wants to just make up already, but the pride in the way won’t allow it

-he’s a weird stickler about intended furniture functionality?? like, the table is for eating, and the couch is for watching tv, and then only way you’re gonna get him to mix the two is if you ask him rlly rlly nicely

-finally- i have no basis for this one, but ik it in my heart: bakugou has a very intense fight with your thermostat nearly every single day. he swears up and down that it never ‘behaves’ for him, but every time you check it, it’s working perfectly fine

-Himiko is very shy about all things romance. Hand holding could cause her to become flustered and embarrassed and pull away from you.

-A big fan of cuddles. She loves when you both get a blanket and cuddle under it. She likes being near you and the added warmth makes her fall asleep.

-Prefers to be the little spoon as well. She likes being held because it makes her feel safe.

-She loves going to pet shelters to see the animals and if they allow it, she'll take them out to play with them as well.

-Himiko loves when you listen to her talk about a recent game she's been playing or even about anything! It makes her feel so loved and happy.

-Anya hates the idea of being teased about being in a relationship. He gets visibly annoyed and debates about lashing out about it but he holds his tongue.

-He likes when you are sitting next to him while he plays games. He doesn't mind if it's while he is streaming or not, he just wants you to be there.

celebrating a victory, a goal and one little girls first game

John would have much preferred that you remained in the warm, safe box that had been given to the players for as many family members as they could get to come to what would be for many of them, their first time playing at a capacity Hampden Park. Although, it was clear that wasn't quiet on your agenda when you ended up down in the stands where you had bought tickets prior to John telling you about the box seats.

The little girl in your arms has a pair of those funny headphones on so she doesn't get overwhelmed, but she's cheering just like everyone else and keeps pointing out the number she knows her favourite man in the world is wearing. It was one of the very few numbers she goes know, but she has certainly gotten used to it by now. It's the same number that's on the front and back of her little navy blue Scotland shirt and embroidered onto the Scotland shorts she was wearing over her little blue leggings to keep warm in the October rain.

"Daddy!" She yells, barely heard over the sound of the cheers around the entire stadium. You're both right behind the dugout and as John's brother holds onto her as she stands on the waist height wall that separates the the space between where the substituted players sit and the spectator seats. She puts her hands over her little eyes in the exact same way John had done moments before for his celebration and you have to immediately capture a picture of her actions.

She's so into the game you almost feel bad for not being able to take her to one of the Scotland ones sooner than now. Just the same as it's John's first time playing to a Hampden full house, so too is it your daughter's first time being at one. She's leaping up and down, singing along to all the songs as the game is scarily close once again when Scott Mctominay sends it tumbling into the back of the net and the whole stadium actually erupts in noise. It feels like the entire place is bouncing.

After the stadium has began to empty, you have to whip out your phone again to film your daughter running down the tunnel with her tiny football boots clicking with each unsteady step the two and a half year old takes. The first thing she does when she runs out is shout on her dad, who can hear her now that the cheering has practically ceased to exist due to the emptying park. Kieran notices her first, turning around immediately, spotting his daughter doing the same celebration John had been trying so hard to teach her over FaceTime last night.

"Wahayyyy!" Kieran cheers, opening up his arms and crouching down so she can crash into him, scooping her up and spinning her around before throwing her up into the air. Andy bounces over to dance with them, holding his hand out for her little high five and then calling for John - who bounds over the second he spots her. “Daddy!” She yells, reaching her arms out for him to take her and pepper her face with kisses to gain those loud little girl giggles John loves so much.

“You scored daddy!” She claps, reaching her little hands out to hold his face. John underestimated how funny his little daughter would be even in just the small things that she does, like looking him in the eyes very seriously as she says, “So next time daddy you have to score two. One for me, and one for mummy.”

John laughs loudly, opening his other arm so he can wrap it around you so his whole little family is held close to him. He presses a kiss to the side of your face, taking the time to whisper, “Better not tell her about the fact she’s having a brother, else ill be scuppered having to score for the three of you.”

You laugh loudly, resting your head on his chest as you walk down the tunnel together. You love your family with John and you are so, so unbelievably excited to have another weird, wonderful, funny little baby with him.

The happiness you feel watching a John chase around his daughter despite the fact he’s exhausted, the pair of them showing off his celebration to everyone they see. "Fucking rain season" said Eraserhead while getting inside his home, soaked from head to toe, he saw your heels on the entrance hall and frowned at it, he just wanted to be alone right now.

You heard him going inside your house and by the sound of his wet boots his mood was just as bad as the weather.

Chuckle to yourself as you keep preparing the bathtub.

Shouta nods and gets inside the bathtub, smelling a woodsy scent, the water was also a little green "what did you put in here?"

You take off your clothes "It's a new bathwater, it helps relax the body and all that shit" you take a hair tie and ties Aizawa's hair in a cute messy bun "today we will take care of you, okay?" finally being able to kiss his cheek you smile nodding to yourself and goes to take a shower.

He watches you for some time and then relax on the bathtub, now that he's calm and relaxed he can faintly hear the sound of the rain outside, the strong bathroom lights were annoying him by not letting him relax "can you please turn off the lights?"

You stop for a minute and get out of the shower, doing what he asked, but lighting a few candles first "better?"

I’ve seen a lot about your thoughts on Elisabeth and Tanz der Vampire, and they’ve been really helpful getting into those musicals! But you have a huge list of other musicals that people can get into…

So I was wondering if you had any musicals you hadn’t mentioned in a while that you really like or would like to talk about??? (preferably something from your lists that has a blue heart please?)

Oh if only you knew how long the list of European musicals really is... I however have only seen 9 (if I counted right) and I have a lot more that I still need to watch. Oh also, I only put the blue hearts on any musicals that I was providing multiple links for so people could see which version I reccoment the most highly. If a musical only had one link and didn't have a blue heart it doesn't mean I didn't like it.

I've watched: Mozart das Musical, Elisabeth das Musical, Tanz der Vampire, 3 Musketiers, Mozart L'Opéra Rock, Dracula (the Graz production), Rebecca das Musical, Roméo et Juliette and Schikaneder.

If you enjoyed those two you're likely to enjoy Rebecca! It's written by the same composer/lyricist team as Elisabeth and Mozart (and same lyricist as Tanz der Vampire - though if you're listening to any German musical, original or translated, 90% of the time the lyrics will have been done by Michael Kunze that man is everywhere). The Stuttgart production has my favourite set design of any musical! Well... Actually probably. There are so many big set pieces it's insane, way more than I've seen in some Broadway and West End musicals. You can tell so much work went into it and the visual effects that I won't spoil if you don't know the plot but if you know the plot you know what I mean by the effects at the end are so good and I didn't expect them at all and I freaked out so much the first time I watched it. Jan Ammann as Maxim in the Stuttgart production is the best Maxim. No I won't take any argument. Other actors feel a bit one-dimensional to me, but the way Maxim acts at times comes from trauma and some actors and productions seem to forget that, but Jan really goes for it and his Maxim is a lot more sympathetic and I just want to give him a hug. Pia Douwes as Mrs Danvers, if you've seen her in Elisabeth what more do I need to say, she's amazing. A musical goddess. Her Danny is a bit more wild than some, but she kills it. My favourite video, which I put the blue heart next to, has understudy Christina Patten as Ich/I, but I adore her she's my favourite. She adds some spunk to Ich in act 2 and her voice is so pretty and aaaa. I just love these three actors together in these roles.

Roméo et Juliette is another favourite of mine! It's hard to choose which one to recommend, but it has to be the original 2000/2001 production because of the sweetness and chemistry and voices of Damien Sargue and Cecilia Cara as Romeo and Juliet. They're so pretty and work together so well. The only reason I say it's hard to pick is Mercutio. I adore him, but in the original production they cut out a song they had planned for him and he doesn't really do much at all? In the 2010 revival they gave him two more songs and you care about him so much more and John Eyzen plays such a good Mercutio. So I'd recommend the original but if you want to like Mercutio more, which you should he's amazing, I'd recommend watching at least clips of John's. It's an interesting musical because all productions are non-replica and also change around the order of songs, add or take away characters, all sorts. The Hungarian production is also very popular and I'm sure it's great, I just haven't' gotten around to watching it yet.

Mozart das Musical was the first non-English language musicals I watched so I have a fondness for it, but it's not my favourite. However, I do realise I have forgotten most of the songs and the few I've gone back and listened to are better than I remember.

Dracula isn't super popular and I understand why, I don't love the plot of the Dracula/Mina romance in it, however. I do love this musical because despite how I find the plot lacking, the songs are so good! At least, I love them. And the actors are all doing a great job. And it's one of the few Dracula adaptions to keep Quincy Morris so they get bonus points for that.

Mozart L'Opéra Rock and modern French musicals... This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they're often more like pop-rock operas now. So if you're not into musicals with that style of music it might not be for you, but I still enjoyed it even though I didn't think I would because of the style of music. Mozart and Salieri's chemistry is very good, Salieri's bisexual crisis song is iconic, actually all of Salieri's songs are iconic.

Schikaneder... eh. I didn't like it that much and I didn't really like any of the songs. There's no English subtitles, but someone sent me the entire English synopsis and I watched it with a German friend so I had double the help of understanding it. Doesn't mean others might not like it, just none of the songs stood out to me and I had no desire to listen to any of them again. It's by Steven Scharwz of Wicked fame and I love Wicked, but I didn't love this.

3 Musketiers!! God it's so underrated and not spoken about within the European musical fandom that I even forget about it and literally forgot to write about it earlier in this post. It's a Dutch musical (though did also have a German production) and it's really good!? Faces you might know are Pia Douwes as Milady de Winter, Stanley Burlseon as Cardinal Richeliu (Netherlands Der Tod in Elisabeth), Henk Poort as Athos (Netherlands Phantom and Jean Valjean). The dialgoue is funny, the songs are good, some of the set pieces have no right to exist in this tiny musical?? They made this giant boat and pelt the actors with rain just for one 5 minute song and then we never see the boat again? And while I recommend the Dutch one because Dutch musicals deserve more love and it has official English subtitles!! Official ones, not fanmade! I have the DVD and it comes with English subtitles (and Dutch and German subtitles) which is so nice. The German version is also good, good cast, Pia came back and Uwe Kroger as Richeliu and omg they rearranged the songs and the German arrangement of Nicht Aus Stein is insane and amazing and frankly iconic.

That's all of the ones I have watched. Next on my list to watch are Rudolf and Notre Dame de Paris, both of which I have listened to some songs from and already love (I've listened to way too much of Notre Dame de Paris and am so in love).

I want to start organising streams where I'll host the musical either by getting the video from Youtube or my own files and anyone who wants to join can come along and watch with us, chat with us if you want or just watch there's no pressure to chat. I thought about doing weekly streams? This would also make me finally watch some of the ones I've been meaning to for ages. But I keep wondering about time zones. I'm in the UK and would want to stream at about 11pm at the latest (11pm BST/GMT+1 as we’re in daylight savings at the moment, if the streams continue past the end of October which would be wild then I’ll make a note of the time change that would be to 11pm GMT), which I know can work for other UK and Europeans, but for any Americans would be in the afternoon. So, I wondered if doing it on a weekend would be better? Then it doesn't matter if it's in the afternoon? Maybe Saturday evenings then? It would either be Saturday evenings UK time or Friday evenings UK time. What do you guys think? If people are down then I'll make a separate post with a list of what we'll be watching each week and if anything happens to me that means I can't stream one week then everything will just get pushed back a week, but I don't see that as likely to happen. And I'll only be streaming those that have English subtitles, so don't worry about not being able to understand anything.

im valkyrieP…… i feel like being a valkP goes hand in hand with being a reiP. the aesthetics just match up. but not only that, their DYNAMIC ITSELF…. everything that is going on between mika and shu……. idek, it’s just very compelling to me, when i was reading their stories i kinda hated shu but the more it progressed and i grasped his character, i literally fell in love with this guy. im a big fan of imperfection, i don’t think everything has to be black and white. and shu is so incredibly human… i just loved witnessing his development, it had to be one of my favorite things ever. and then mika’s too like GAH. I LOVE THEM. AND ADD EX VALK INTO THE MIX. OH MY GOD. the entire valk timeline is a true masterpiece.

and then my other faves are natsume ( he is my second fave idk why i put valk first although i love valk an abnormal amount ), literally all the eccentrics… after reading meteor impact, i fell in love w kanata and he is also a very interesting personality. and wataru too of course.

and my sons. my sons are yuta, hinata, kohaku, and hiiro. so cute T__T !!!!

then characters i just think are hot are madara and rinne. worst part about this is they are also incredibly interesting characters, especially rinne!!! like the amount of depth with these two is insane, everyime they appear in a story im like what is up with these guys !!! but they are also eye candy. sorry.

i love them all so much !!!! it’s so hard to rank them. but rei and natsume will always be my number one and two ^__^ !!!

for units! i seem biased but my top three are undead, valkyrie, and 2wink in that order. tbh i have never heard a bad song by any of these units, i will never skip a song by any of them their music is just SOOOO GOOD.

now you’re thinking. writer, where is switch. okay i love switch’s songs and i love natsume, and i love their little found family dynamic. WHICH YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD PRODUCE THEM…… buuuut… scratches head. i have a huge affinity for natsume while the other two members.. are kinda buried beneath a bunch of other characters so i would feel like a fake saying i produce switch when i do not have the same amount of emotions for them all.

it’s the same for ryusetai. love kanachia and their kids. but im just not diehard enough about them to produce them Q__Q !!!!

my favorite songs boy oh boy !! there are so many songs lemme try and condense this.

every undead song ever. ( my most played: forbidden rain!!!!!!!, valentine’s eve nightmare, immoral world, gates of abyss, honey milk wa okonomi de, literally every song. )

every valk song ever. ( my most played: enthralling theater!!!!!!!, uruwashi no nightingale, sacred youth’s game, acanthe )

i could write an entire essay about each of these valk songs. i really could. ESPECIALLY. uruwashi no nightingale and sacred youth’s game. whoever hired the voices for shmk needs the biggest pay raise of all time because their voice actors voices together will never fail to give me emotions i have never felt before. and when you throw nazuna’s voice in there….. shakes my head and starts crying and laughing…….. they all compliment each other SO WELL…… i am so genuinely in love with shu and mika’s voices, and it only gets better when you PUT THEM TOGETHER GOD.

every 2wink song ever BUT ESPECIALLY !!!!! fighting dreamer, polyphonic world, lemon squash cheer, and the best ever….. trick with treat. i don’t even know where it ranks but it is for sure competing for the number one spot.

BLOODY MOON VAMPIRE. OH MY GOD…. im very big fan of jazz. AND REI’S VOICE… FALLS TO THE GROUND….. god his voice actor has the voice of a siren i swear if i heard this song in the middle of nowhere, i would follow it no matter how dangerous the destination was. his voice is just so smooth and TEMPTING…… whoever casted him also deserves a pay raise because his voice is just. so. rei. this is just how rei should sound, it was just so perfect i cannot handle it. i understand why rei sakuma had so many people under his spell. obviously.
