Yall know what pisses me off?
When people try to say "B-B-But, Palestine is largely homophobic!!!" Like I fucking care?
As a genderfluid bisexual woman, I would rather be discriminated against for who I am than support the slaughter of countless innocents.
It's a goofy thing to assume would matter when there's people being blown up and losing loved ones...not only that, but Palestine is losing its history that's been there since the earliest civilizations.
And considering an Israeli official is one of the ones that kept saying this (along with a bunch of Reddit keyboard warriors)...I don't think y'all care about the gays...y'all just want more people on your side.
ANYWAYS there's two separate fundraisers for some families that desperately need your help to escape and it means life and death for them!!! Please go check them out on my pinned posts!!! Even a tiny bit of your support helps!!!!

there's nothing more mentally exhausting than having a conversation with someone who wants to have a kid while you do not want to have one. why do they always wanna insist that they are right and you are wrong, like there's a right or wrong answer to it at all???? it's a deeply personal decision for YOUR life. what do i have to do with Your Personal opinion??? i dont get it, i really dont

Learning how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable is important. I'm genuinely not okay when I hear, see, and research more about the genocide happening in Gaza, the history of Israel's founding, and its terroristic actions. It is important for me to know.
Taking short breaks (usually a couple of hours or so) does help when things get too much. Then, I return and continue engaging with reblogs on Palestine.
I really don't know what else to say, but this genocide must end. All genocides must end and must never happen again. Keep talking about Palestine, Armenia, Congo, and Sudan! Keep protesting! Keep fighting!
What is important now is to be as loud as you can be! Raise ruckus! Make your voice unavoidable! Be as annoying as possible! Do not let your representatives ignore this!

When will the majority of Americans realize that our country is one of the most parasitic and blood-soaked empires in history, that it’s very bones are those of the indigenous people and of slaves, and that the lifeblood that has sustained it is that of innocent people from other countries, who it terrorizes without impunity because they cannot take action against a distant leviathan entity with hoarded resources at its disposal? That it deliberately sows discord among its own people so that it can scapegoat and exploit those of us who it has deemed Undesirable and Undeserving of said hoarded resources? That its hold over media output deliberately reinforces the idea of Americans as the Everyman and everyone else as the Other, that the suffering of millions of people, yes, actual flesh-and-blood people around the world is a direct result of our egocentric nationalism and complacency?

"Forgetting" or "ignoring" boycotts, protests, strikes, and more is crazy imo
Think of palestine when you sleep at night. They dont get to have your comfortable bed or your peace of mind or a quiet room to sleep
Think of palestine when you joke with your friends at school or colleagues at work. The 2023 to 2024 school year in gaza was cancelled because too many students were dead
Think of palestine when you see your family at home or when you text them or when they briefly cross your mind. Every death is not just a number on a screen but a loss. A loss to a family, to a friend group, to a community.
Think of palestine when your life is normal. Their life has not been normal in years.
Let the suffering occupy your mind. Let it eat you up in discomfort and guilt and empathy and hurt. Maybe then you will also uplift your voice.

i'm a bit too tired to put together an appropriately coherent argument right now, but i feel the need to speak on the 'vote blue no matter who' thing because it keeps coming up on my dash and i'm fucking tired of it.
stop trying to beg a system to get better when that system was designed to hold power over you, when it benefits from staying as is, when it wants to keep you down and on a leash. You are voting for the fucking leash man, not the person holding it. You know why negotiations for a ceasefire have been falling flat? Because Israel never cared about morals--there's no use in begging the colonial entity to have some conscience because we wouldn't fucking be here right now if they could be talked out of genocide. If there are train tracks that both go through hospitals, you don't fucking wonder which hospital has less people in it, you wonder who the fuck designed the damn tracks to go through a hospital! And then you fucking redesign them so that shit doesn't happen! You don't hire the same guy who built the tracks to do it again either because who knows if he's gonna just build them through more hospitals--you rip those rails up yourself, got it?
