my fanfic acc is @jermer10, i mostly write for tf2 but i take reqs for a number of diff fandoms including homestuck disclaimer: i have to stress that some of these practices are extremely dangerous irl, please do your research before binding and taking hrt

dirk: - ftm transgender, homosexual - doesn't have top or bottom surgery because he lives in the middle of a fucking ocean - he binds using bandages and duct tape - created his own testosterone through extremely dangerous trial and error (doesn't give a shit as long as he can grow sideburns) - he mechanically created his packer (yes, it is completely functional as the real thing. no, he would not recommend trying to penetrate with it) - he primarily wears masculine clothing but likes headbands and hair clips - will also wear makeup occasionally - extremely secretive abt his gender identity, the only people who know are his bro and roxy - jake and jane don't find out until they meet him in person and see his bewbs and then it clicks why he never joined vc or would use funny voice changers when he did, why he never really sent selfies and when he did they would be head n shoulders only

jake: - amab nonbinary, bisexual - they use he/they pronouns and have no intention of any surgeries (social dysphoria + gender dysphoria but not much dysphoria abt his body) - they mostly wear feminine clothing because its comfortable - had the most trouble with his gender identity, and didn't even know dirk was trans until he met him in person for the first time - and that's when it clicks that they might alsoooo fall under the trans umbrella - he confides in jane about this before making a coming out speech to dirk and roxy - the general consensus is literally 'yeah i mean it was kinda obvious' - (all of the alpha kids r trans to me so like yeah ofc they dont care) - doesn't really like labels and prefers to remained undefined, he's the kind of person who hates feeling trapped or held back - absolutely HATES being perceived, they hate when others try to project a certain image onto them that they don't agree with but also hates it when they give him labels that he does agree with

and if you consider that the 13-14 year is usually a huge growth spurt, like more than 3 inches for boys, and Dave is almost 13 and a half, he's not even above average! i was being too generous! so that's ONE normal height kid and 7 starving waifs

yknow when i was 13 i was 5'1, which is slightly below average. so my big question about the the 'official' homestuck height chart is why are they so fucking small. it's genuinely really weird that dave is slightly above average, jade is well below, and rose and john are both 'family doctor checks them for signs of malnutrition'-small

and that's not even to MENTION the 16-year-old alpha kids being THE SAME FUCKING SIZE???? by 16 basically everyone is mostly finished growing. you do not have any major growth spurts left. a 16 year old should be roughly the size of an adult. and not a single one of the alpha kids clears 5'3? that's actually insane. i'm sorry have any of these people actually Seen a teenager before or were they just going based on 'uuuuh teenagers are babies right? so they should be baby sized'

Heyyy, Dirk Strider Here, from Homestuck, looking for the Other Alpha Kids, including Hal. The 5 of us formed a polycule during and after the game

Essentially I was dating Jake and Hal, Hal was just dating me, Jake was dating Me and Jane, Jane was dating Jake and Roxy, and Roxy was just daring Jane

I was a Trans Man (he/him only), and Roxy was Transmasc Nonbinary (he/they), and then Hal was also Nonbinary (it/they) but considered itself AMAB, because I was already identifying as a man when my brain was copied to make them.

I wasn't actually dating Jane or Roxy, but I wouldn't be surprised if people thought that like all 5 of us were all dating, cause we were all very good friends and Very Touchy. I specifically remember going through a bit of an Identity Crisis cause of how much i cared for Jane even though I didn't like ladies, and then talking to her about it and her agreeing to kiss me just to see how that felt, (it was not great, not cause she was bad or anything, just cause I actually was not into her.)

I also think I may have later developed feelings for John? But I've only got like. One tiny mem of that, and it might be a different tl, but if any john's remember dating a dirk who was in the above situation, I'd love to talk, see if anything jogs my memory!

jake was amab genderqueer in my timeline and i was amab transfeminine + gender nonconforming (roxy lalonde) and we both loved crop tops :') he had a lot of troubles with himself and his gender, especially their want to be more feminine and being so influenced by all the action movies + body img troubles... we would send each other pictures of outfits we loved and when we finally met i made jake a bunch of cute outfits (with insp from kanaya, ofc) and it made him so so happy... lov that dork
