          the words are spoken but for a moment, steve is back sat in that field, trailer behind them, filling up bottles with robin. she’s showing the same concern, igniting the fear he’d been trying his best to ignore. the one where they didn’t all come away from it unscathed. steve had, in a way, accepted that maybe he wasn’t walking away from it. that he might have to do something drastic, something to protect others. what he hadn’t accounted for, not let himself even consider, was someone else getting hurt. 

          he hadn’t accounted for max getting fucked up beyond belief, and he certainly hadn’t accounted for eddie getting into it the way he had-- the verge of death. it’d sent steve into a bit of a guilt spiral, one that robin was helping him keep above the water on, but it didn’t mean he wasn’t struggling. he just... didn’t want everyone else to see it. 

          but the words cling to him, pull him down, and it’s clear as day in the way his breathing changes, in the panic slowly rising in him.

Uwe played Colloredo in the original run of Mozart! and had one of the worst make up I've seen BUT also the beard and hair styling is actually kind of simialr to Salieri (if he has his hair down) and also has that... lin Manuel Miranda vibe.
