Least Favourite Mysticon Poll Reflections

I was not expecting the results. I also ran this poll on Reddit, and combined the results. While this did give me a larger sample size, there was the risk of people voting for one character twice.

The least favourite Mysticon character is Arkayna, with 9 out of 11 total votes. She was also the least favourite in both polls I ran. This was surprising to me, as she is the leader and arguably the main character, so I didn't expect her to be the least favourite. Perhaps the reason she is low on the list is due to her bossiness, as well as how her development typically came with her interactions with others, not herself.

Tied for second is the undercity kids, Zarya and Piper. However, where these votes came from were different. Zarya was a least favourite Mysticon on the Tumblr poll, while the Reddit poll had Piper as a least favourite. I can see people disliking both of them. From my experience with another show (Yugioh Arc-v) the tough characters are either loved or hated. And I had a theory that Piper didn't get as much merchandise because she was the least liked, but that proves not to be the case.

There was one Mysticon that was no one's least favourite, and that was Em. She's difficult to dislike as a character, as I find her so relateable (in fact, if I can't think of an Em-centric episode to write, I think of things from my life). I'm guessing others find her relateable as well.

Picking a least favourite was hard, but if I had to choose one, it would be Arkayna.
