He wondered why she wasn’t using the crutch she’d left in the corner.  “Miss me?” he asked.  To his delight, she wrinkled her nose at him. Damn, that was cute.  No, no. Nope. Means to an end. That’s all this was.  “I’m sure you didn’t miss me,” she said. Her full lips pursed, pulling against the scars the fall of her hair didn’t quite hide.
