One thing I love about Yelena and Bob's relationship is just how vulnerable Marvel allowed them to be with each other. Yelena only meeting Bob for like 5 minutes and immediately checks on his well being constantly and forming an emotional connection with him because of their shared loneliness. Bob understanding Yelenas dissociation of her sense of worth and lack of drive because he knows what it's like to have a void in ones heart. Both of constantly risking everything to make sure the other is okay, even their own life. Freaking Yelena risking total obliteration from the void just to tell Bob that she is there for him and that she will never let him be alone ever again

OMG AM I ACTUALLY HAVING SHIPPING FEELS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A MARVEL MOVIE?????? IS THUNDERBOLTS LITERALLY THE GREATEST MCU MOVIE EVER FOR ME BECAUSE OF THIS????

imagine. sam and bucky will have a really bad argument because bucky still acts extremely protective of him. sam thinks its because he didnt take the serum and bucky thinks hes weak. but its only because bucky loves him too much to see him suffer and he cant bear to lose him. classic fight whatever. BUT THEN bucky has a complete breakdown about how he hasnt felt this way since.... and he trails off but obviously he means steve and while Bucky spills all of this we just see sam's expression soften from anger into quiet understanding and then they silently hug or maybe kiss or smth idk who cares WHO CARES.

Billy remembers Wanda's lullaby and sings it when he's alone and stressed.

Riri can't stand being around large bodies of water anymore but she absolutely can't stand leaving anyone else unattended near water so she'll stand on land watching and waiting

Joaquin has flare ups and phantom pains on his left side that get so bad he'll curl in on himself until it subsides. Everyone knows when it happens because it's one of the rare times Joaquin is dead silent.

Bob has an unfortunate habit of digging his nails into his skin until he bleeds to the point where the team has to stock up on stress balls and bandages.

America's room is sound proof due to the fact that for the first three months her nightmares caused her to emit the most ear-splitting screams imaginable that she couldn't stop until she laid eyes on either Stephen or Wrong. She's learned to muffle her screams.

Shuri keeps a few of T'Challa and Ramonda's items in vacuum sealed containments and every so often she'll pull them out just to smell them.

It rarely happens but Sam will have moments where he forgets that Riley is gone. He'll talk about him so casually that unless you know who Riley is, you'll assume Sam is actively talking about a living person that he speaks to on a regular basis. When someone (usually Bucky, Sarah, or Joaquin) has to remind him otherwise, Sam will get quiet and disappear for a few days.

Shang chi remembers every so often that his father lived a long time thanks to the rings and falls into a self-destructive streak where he does any and everything to feel as much pain as possible. Even going as far as to intentionally not try during sparring matches just to get injured. Fortunately, the few people that can match him in strength and combat know when he's doing this and will stop sparring immediately.

Every veteran Avenger can clock each other's "ghost stare" when it comes to the new recruits. Aka Bruce knows who Clint sees when staring at Yelena, Sam knows who Rhodey sees when staring at Riri and who Carol sees when looking at Kamala, Bucky knows who Sam sees in Joaquin, and Wong has learned who Stephen sees in America.

Given that the Marvel Cinematic Universe casting team definitely has leaned into a few really strong father and son actors, a clear vacancy in the MCU White House left by Red Hulk, and Dr. Doom clearly on the way, there couldn't possibly be a better time to have Bill Pullman brought in to give us all a solid Independence Day-esque nostalgia trip.
