the two of you late night in the library, it's pretty full at midnight with students catching up on assignments and deadlines. exam season is quickly approaching and you and sugu decide a late night study sesh is for the best.

he has your fave snacks and proofreads over any drafts you have. the two of you bask in your comfortable silences as you both type away at your laptops with noise cancelling headphones on.

of course he makes sure that you take breaks when needed and stay hydrated.

80°? its 80% warmth outside so yeah its pretty warm I’ll wear some light clothes

30°? its 30% warmth outside so I’m gonna bundle up

100°? its 100% warmth outside so I’ll probably stay inside bc thats borderline unbearable depending on where you are and humidity levels and all that

it makes perfect sense for day to day life since I only use degrees of temperature when checking the weather. or cooking in an over but directions are usually given for that so I don’t have to think about that lol

fahrenheit is more attuned to how temperature feels in relation to humans while celcius is how temperature feels in relation to water

so knowing the temperature outside on a day to day basis makes fahrenheit superior bc its for outside temperature for ME. celsius is WATER temperature and idc how the water feels. IM going outside, not the WATER. why would I hear 20° and hear its a nice day out? that makes no sense. 20° is the low number so its cold and 100° is the high number so its hot. that just makes sense.

absolutely obsessed with the way Fahrenheit is legitimately a superior temperature measurements for day to day life than celsius (more precise, accessible, and understandable) but ppl refuse to admit to it bc they’re so caught up with the “silly americans refuse to convert to metric” gag
