Do you have any appearance headcanons for HS characters? Such as who are muscular, who are chubby, who are tall, etc.

i have this height chart for the kids that i dont follow super strictly (+ its kinda exaggerated i dont think that jade is THAT tall lmao) but it shows my general headcanons . also the lighting isnt great but oh well. putting all the answers below the cut cause this got long as HELL

john: short, a bit above average build. light skinned but slightly tanned+freckled, more so during the summer. my headcanons for everyones eyes is that theyre like a believable shade close to their canon colors, but when they either enter the medium or godtier, i cant decide but i lean towards medium, they change to their canon bright colors. johns are naturally blue pre-sburb. also i headcanon that hypermobile ehler danlos runs in the prospit family (saying this bc i refuse to use some godawful portmanteau family name for them) because projection, and for him it starts presenting more obviously after getting to earth c. even before then he would do weird joint shit to mess with people lol. headcanon that people keep scars from various resurrections or might end up with them from other versions due to weird universe shit so he has a couple stab scars on his chest + lots more from sburb stuff. also i like the idea of him having some visual aftereffect from going out of canon whether some breath lookin scars on his arm or something like that.

rose: mixed east asian/european (vague bc they dont technically have actual ancestry, given a no sburb au im undecided for more specific asian background but since her surname has french origins thats my headcanon for that part); darker skin. natural dark hair but she bleaches it to dye it purple. fairly average height. naturally below average weight growing up, but fills out in her teens. gray eyes before sburb; her hair dye make them look faintly lilac, but they become actual purple eventually. somewhat fluffy hair but mostly only if she styles it to be. keeps scar from being killed by jack + absorbs the scars of doomed rose from davesprites timeline.

jade: tall and lanky, but much closer to daves height than in this drawing. very similar hair and skin tone to john, but much more tan, especially at the start of sburb since she lives in the tropics. by the end theyve both faded to close to the same color. hair looks black but with brown highlights in bright light. natural green eyes, but instead of just turning brighter they also glow like the green sun in the dark (or an animal with reflective eyes). hair gets a lot fluffier and thicker after dogtiering, + gets fangs. it was very long and a tangled mess from not brushing or cutting it enough growing up, so on the pre-retcon yellow yard she gets it cut and grows it back while on post-retcon she cuts it off herself during a breakdown moment. quite a few scars from jungle mishaps + taxidermy stitching scars after dogtiering. pretty wiry from taking care of herself growing up. her ehlers danlos presents with more fatigue as she gets older so the sleepygirl vibes return...she also had to self-treat a lot of dislocations from incidents on the island. her body is a bit fucked up after godtiering from the combo of vague dogginess making the connective tissue stuff worse.

dave: same as rose but im very much in the albino dave headcanon camp! lots of scars from strifing with bro, which show up pretty easy on him. big one on his chest from the strife where his shirt got cut, and sometimes ends up with doomed daves' scars. his eyes were naturally pinkish red but again became their super bright color eventually. heavily masks his expressions most of the time but gets better at displaying emotion while on the meteor. pretty tall and a good bit of muscle, but skinny throughout childhood from his living situation. thin hair without a ton of volume. also please make him so very very texan i beg you all.

jane: shortest of the alpha kids + chubby :] very fluffy hair, and pretty pale from not going outside as much as the other prospits. gets pretty emotive and frazzled at times + gets red in the face easily from both that and being paler. maybe a couple scars from failed assassination attempts that she usually covers with makeup to keep up the heiress public image? her and roxy both have scars from being killed pre-entry.

roxy: darker than rose + curlier hair; also mixed but less so without dirks genes in the mix obvs. second tallest of the alphas! she dyes her hair pink but not as often as rose so her roots are grown out a lot more. various scars from living in the water apocalypse + kitten accidents as it goes with those silly creatures, and more freckles than rose bc climate change lol. natural dark brown eyes instead of something "pink" lol . void style. prescratch she just bleached her hair but didnt dye it. i like to think maybe jade did end up getting a little silly :3 when she was a prisoner on derse so some scars from that too :(

jake: short!! i live for short jake. honestly might make him shorter than jane; theyre def closer in height than i drew them here. lotsss of scars he thinks they look cool. clothes usually a bit battered. haircut is not very neat whatsoever because he just does it himself to keep it out of the way which is better than jade letting hers go wild i guess. similar complexion to jade. scars on his chest from getting forked by jane which has angst potential. natural eye color is sorta hazel/green

dirk: tall! white surfer boy lookin. natural dirty blonde hair but the combo of sunbleaching + various improvised methods to lighten it to resemble his totally awesome bro makes it closer to blonde (prescratch he bleaches it so hard and its so shitty but irony am i right). extremely freckled + lots of scars but he got most of them in very stupid ways like slipping while climbing the supports for the apartment. he does ofc have the iconic neck scar. naturally had light brown eyes.

ok and trolls! this is the only pic where ive drawn all of them so itll work as my visual lol.

first tho these are my headcanons for how different castes ears look! mind that the pic of all the trolls is a bit older than this (which is also something i made a while ago in case i never needed to describe my headcanons. so some things changed from one to the next but in general the same ideas are there; also some things in this diagram i dont like as much as what i drew above so take it with a grain of salt.

also my headcanon is that on average for this age range, trolls are in the same range of heights as humans, but the higherblooded they are the taller they can get. however they keep growing a lot longer . like lobsters . which extra reason why highbloods get bigger cause they live longer

aradia: short, chubby but muscular, with super curly and long and wild hair. when alive, lots of dark red freckles and blush but when dead, very pale gray skin. for my ear shape headcanons, rustblood ears are just slightly more pointed than human ears, though you cant see hers in this pic. sometimes i draw her with horizontal pupils when i remember.

tavros: tall for a bronzeblood, but still short compared to humans. his robot legs make him taller than he was before lol. pretty obvious brown flush to his skin a lot of the time. lil bit chubby

sollux: short-average height, thin and lanky. terrible posture. i lean into the goldbloods with two pairs of ears headcanon. no freckles

karkat: he hasnt slept in a month and everyone can tell. worlds awfullest eyebags on a thirteen year old boy ever. i draw trolls with nails corresponding with their blood color but he paints his black. what do you mean he has red freckles those are the blood of his enemies. average height and constantly tense

nepeta: short. silly. will kill you. there is a nasty mix of blood under her nails at all times but look at her silly smile. she doesnt look buff but she is. super messy hair goes all over the place standing on end when she takes off her hat. cleft lip + slit pupils. lots of scars but she rocks them like a warrior cat.

kanaya: curly fluffy hair. in this pic i didnt draw it cause im a loser i guess but she has tons and tons of freckles. sometimes they look like stars (space player moment). i draw her ears with sorta leafy/almost frayed-looking edges as a rosemary nod since they kinda look like rose leaves! fairly tall for a jade.

terezi: lots of freckles on her face! very straight and pointy ears. short + chubby + not exactly visibly muscular but she WILL throw you. triangle body shape language (wide stance, very solid).

vriska: super wild unkept hair. fairly pale; burn scars across her face, side, and shoulder. the pic shows her damaged ear (she lost most of it in the explosion) but her other ear would be a bit longer than terezis but with a less dramatic point. somewhat tall and pretty solidly built.

equius: buff but NOT like a super muscular body builder he may be a troll but he is basically thirteen. hes like a buff middle schooler but not super over the top. just kinda a regular guy. i dont like how his hair looks in the comic so i draw it a bit different. strong blue (no pun intended) flush to his skin in some places, especially under eyes and near joints. fairly tall.

gamzee: ive never rlly draw him without makeup so i dont rlly have an idea of his normal appearance. tall but slouches, somehow both a bit chubby as well as awkwardly bony in places. thick + very curly hair. i draw purpleblood ears with a sorta multilobed/wavy edgy to sorta resemble approaching seadweller fins.

eridan: average height for a violetblood, but tall for a human. a few freckles. his glasses are just for show. hes like a middle schooler who you think looks so tough and edgy at the time but then you look back and realize they were just a loser kid.

feferi: short + chubby but very strong. long curly hair, lots and lots of freckles! very round + soft + bubbly shape language.

Okay but in all seriousness the way you use color just shifts something in my brain whenever I see it, ESPECIALLY when you choose vibrant colors for the entire piece or only add one vibrant color because just AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH the way I'm SOBBING every time because it's so damn good

Also when you opt for more pastel colors????? It's been a while but back during ✨️our Kirby days✨️ you posted an art piece of Meta Knight sitting in the moonlight and just. The lines, the moon popping out thanks to the limited color pallet, the pastels, the way you made him So Fucking Shaped. It's literally the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I think of Meta. It's just such a stunning artwork like hhhhnnnnggggggGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH IT'S SO GOOD YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVE IT

im rlly proud of that meta knight ur talking about.. it was originally a physical sketch but i liked it sm i turned it digital and then i got silly with the colors

ive always been proud of my colors, but in the past (like idk 7 years ago) i had a weird limited approach to things. i figured out the trick of like,, taking something whose base color is pink and shading with purple. and then that was all i would do, because it pretty consistently made stuff that was pleasing to look at

and i developed a bit on that sorta style for years until my spamton era happened. i started using mspaint a TON and it radically changed my approach to coloring. having to both go into a seperate menu to select colors AND having the black/white slider be required to color pick Made it so that i had to experiment a lot more. mess around, maybe try a lower saturation. and after a while i started getting obsessed with grey tones.

my old old art was all super colorful, but in a sorta predictable way. its nice but didnt leave much of an impression

but in like my current era i use a lot of toned down colors. desaturated, greyish in betweens, playing with warm greys v cool greys, actually appreciating complementary colors

butyeah thats all to say. uh. i like colors a lot and i think about them alot

there r always new ways to approach coloring something and u can make some crazy stuff

ill admit that i feel like alot of my doodles n stuff look a little samey atm. u can tell what colors i default to when im feelin lazy lmao (cream, teal, green, warm pink, etc. all desaturated of course) but then again i havent been drawing much lately, the sample size isnt super big

i wanna make more shit i just never have the ideas or motivation.. i jsut end up doodling fish furries lol

hi dude, yeah I'd love to explain my colouring and sharpening process to you, I'm gonna explain how I went from

ALSO! for basic gif stuff heres my other tutorial that explains how I basic sharpen and make the gifs!

so first of, Mick at Haas is easy to make pop.

it's the same reason people use it instead of green screen. there's no blue in a humans natural skin tone so when you play around with the colour it will only change the placed the blue is intentionally not the skin/hair etc

that's why it's harder to colour for example Charles w Ferrari, red is always in a humans skin also why it is easy to colour Seb at Aston because green again, is not.

so, anyways, let's talk sharpening first because I changed it a lil. I still use the same 'spice' preset from the tutorial my second sharpening is just a bit diff by trowing up the radius a lil.

then, the fun part. COLOUR!!! so first thing, the layers for this gif look like this:

so. to explain all of that a lil I'm gonna go down every layer and explain why and how I use them

btw these are all called 'adjustment layers' you can grab these at the bottom of your layers channel and whre u see that lil half moon thingy, thats where ur adjustment layers are hiding.

also important, I colour very instinctually, I just do whatever feels right at the time.

then, if you only wanna learn the basics and easy stuff especailly if you're new id recommend most focusing on learning how 'colour balance' 'levels' 'curves' and 'selective colour' works.

levels:

so, levels looks like this, you can use the lil pipets on the left to grab what u wanna lighten or darken. the top is blacks and the bottom one is whites.

most of my gifs have two levels layes. one were I use the pipet to grab the blackest part of the gif and one were I use it to grab the whitest part.

then I just play around with the little nubs at the bottom to darken and lighten shit.

vibrance:

this is very basic and easy, I just trow up the vibrance a lil to get the colour to pop out a lil

channel mixer:

then channel mixer. okay, so, this is new for me, I am still figuring this out but I use the little output channel to grab diff colours (u can ofc choose between blue, red and green)

then I chance the nubs a lil around to change the colour. channel mixer grabs the colours you have in the gif and makes them just a lil different.

this way when your whole shot is for example far to yellow you can trow up the blue to contrast the yellow and neutralise it.

brightness contrast:

well, again pretty obvious, I dont like my gifs to have unatural high contrast so i trow down the contrast a lot and depending on what kind colouring I wanna do I either plus or minus the brightness but I also keep that at 0 a lot

colour balance:

this is kinda the easy version of channel mixer. if your gif is to yellow well. you go in the plus on the midtones with the yellow/blue line. its easy and can help neutralise a gif without to much hassle.

on the top part were 'midtones' is right now you can change it to change the colours on highlights and shadows too which is wonderful cuz that way u can specify where and what u wanna change what colour and neutralise what.

(it also helps w more creative colouring for example if ur planning on making a gif purple u can trow up the yellow, megenta and red)

curves:

now, okay, curves, tbh, the one I find most intimidating, this lil motherfucker can change ur whole colour w one lil slide to the left, it svery useful, you can again at the top were the lil 'rbg' is change it to specify green, red and blue. this curves u can do a shit ton with.

you can play around w the line as much as u want curve it all ways u want so honestly, just play around w it do some random shit see what works for u.

selective colour:

and then, my most beloved, the best lil adjustment layer in the bunch.

this funky lil layer grabs what ever colour u choose and can take and change it however u like. so if you for example are in this yellow layer and you grab the yellow line the ones thats on -19 and you put it left it makes all the yellow in your gif disspear turn into a pinkish purple.

that is how tou can make colours really pop. thats how I make my yellows are all the way in the minus and the megenta is in the plus. that way your blue goes really blue and deep. I obviously use the 'cyan' to make it pop even more to

but this lil adjustment layer is how a lot of us gif makers make out fav lil pink/purple colourings.

and then obv make sure if you dont compress ur gif that its under 10mb when u export that makes ur gif the highest quality posible with obviously makes the sharpness sharper and les grainy.

How do you draw? I'm just starting to learn (I have no idea how to draw) but my art doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Anything you found particularly helpful when you first started out would be great :)

Oh god i have no idea. A lot of what I’ve learned has been through trial and error of trying to draw stuff, it not working out, and trying something new.

What really helped me was learning face shapes and like, the general lines on a face?

This shit! I tend to simplify this to just the crosshairs to show where the eyes and general face direction cause my style is very cartoony and soft. Curve the lines to show depth. Then its kind of connect the dots

And then i just. Tried to apply with with bodies. If you can make a line show the direction the body will go in space, its much easier to figure out how to draw it from just. Knowing how bodies work. Arms are weird n long but your hands shouldnt go past like. Upper mid thigh.

Also just general rules I’ve learned:

- layers layers layers. so many layers.

- never shade with black. set your layer to overlay, and use purple or blue.

- if you zoom out to where most ppl will see your art, and you cant see that one mistake you made? Leave it. The eye skips over it and fills it in on its own- tediously going through to fix things no one but you will see is draining

- trust the process and it always looks worse before it looks better so don’t give up

- hands are a fucking bitch to draw and every artist knows that look at their hands and try and figure out how they’re doing it and what works best for you. Same with feet 90% of the time everyone i draw wears socks

- use references. Im an idiot who doesnt use references and then when i do my art looks better USE REFERENCES. Shading, lighting, body poses, use them until you’ve basically understood how to do them without it. Don’t TRACE, just learn from it.

- don’t worry about style too much, it comes naturally. people say i have a style- i promise you i literally do not know why. your art has a style inherently because YOURE the one drawing it.

- your art might not get tons of attention and thats okay. it doesnt make the piece better or worse bc 10 extra people clicked reblog. if you’re happy with it, then thats all that matters. you gotta be your first fan of your art.

- take screenshots if someone leaves a particularly sweet message in tags or comments. or at least know how to see it again, it helps you to keep going

i yearn for one(1) thing only, and that is to have a nice, simplistic, cartoonish artstyle. an artstyle that doesnt rely on anatomy, but the "movement" of the drawing, if you get what i mean.

i dont want realistic proportions and traditional colors and basic poses and gradient shading, i want funky lil dudes in funky poses with funky styles littering my sketchbook :( but alas i havent figured out how to develop that kind of style yet, my brain wants anatomy to look nice but also i dont want to draw eyes. i dont want to take time out of my day to learn how to draw lips i want to draw a line that extends past the characters face. i dont want all my characters to have pointy chins with curved cheeks i want their heads to be round and friend-like or full of sharp edges depending on their personalities and styles. i want to give them all not-quite human ears, blob feet, simple faces, but at the same time i want enough detail to convey the story or emotion im trying to tell.

ive spent so much time recently agonizing over how to use 3d model websites, using real-life references and tracing over them for practice, color-picking from real images to try and do realism and failing miserably, but you know whats easier than that? funky little dudes. little dudes who do not care if their legs are too long or their hair is too bouncy. i dont want my characters to look human.

ive spent enough time on the artfight website to realize that most people who classify their characters as "human" have the most basic ass designs (no offense to people who like basic human designs its just not my thing) or its like dnd-medieval style outfits which i cant draw for the life of me (ive tried). again no offense to people who actively enjoy and draw characters like that. i just need my dudes to have that certain,,, off-ness to them. tails are cool. wings are swag (especially if they arent even like,, fully attached,, ), elf ears are so wonderful to me no matter how much theyre overused, horns are so much fun to draw, and colors!! i have no knowledge in the color theory department so this works great for me!! the only thing i really know is dont shade with black, other than that i just colorpick from references usually but i dont want to do that!! i want the colors to hurt people's eyes but in a satisfying way. like the character's design is so nice to look at that you dont mind your eyes hurting a bit. like how im enjoying writing this post even though its 2 am and the brightness on my computer wont go any lower.

and then another thing ive noticed from being on the artfight website is that a lot of people classify their characters that are anthro/have anthro features under humanoids/monsters. like i made a google form to find some people to attack and someone sent me in a character with some sort of animal (wolf? idk) arms and legs. like dude!! peak character design i love her. but me personally? i cant draw that shit, its so hard for me. i tried a while back and its just Not my thing. nothing against furries i just. cant. and i dont want to either.

and i got another submission that i accidentally deleted that was like full anthro/wolf-like like my comrade,,, i cannot draw animals what makes you think i can draw an animal who acts like a human lmao. i can do like. very basic tails, and also animal ears but i cant do the arms and legs and such i just dont know the anatomy, and i know i was talking about how i dont want to care about anatomy but i feel like for anthros you really do need to know at least basic animal anatomy so you know how the limbs look and shit and i dont have that knowledge and dont feel like gaining it.

and then there were some submissions that i absolutely adored. there was one that like, was vaguely human shaped but definitely was not a human. they had a dark-ish lavender colored skin and horns and tusks and like goat ears and a sorta fluffy tail with spikes on it and they had wings and such and they were such a pleasure to draw i love them. and they had a fairly simple outfit too, nothing too complicated. and then i also enjoy object head characters, theyre so neato to me. i got one of those and i really wish i had the motivation to work on it cause it looks so fun.

i want to make funky characters but id have nothing to do with them because the only book i ever tried writing (key word tried - never got past planning it out) had strictly human characters in it, and most of the books i read are humans/humans with powers in situations specific to them so id have no idea what lore to make with the dudes. assuming i have the motivation to make lore and backstory because honestly i just really enjoy character designing its super duper fun.

(side note a song about trucks doing the deed came on just now and its interrupted my flow, apologies).

i only have three actual characters right now. one is an original roleplay oc whos design is literally athletic shorts, an oversized long sleeved grey sweatshirt, long purple hair, and demon horns. the second one is my persona whos design some sorta medival knight outfit kinda thing? but not ugly it looks really cool (idk one of my friends designed it bc i won some contest from him but the drawing was on a super small scale so idrk the details,,,) with a plague doctor mask and crown, and shoulder length wavy brown hair, dyed bright pink at the end. and then my last one im not too comfortable using other places because theyre a character my friend is using in the story hes writing, and thats really the only place theyve been used. but theyre easily my favorite and im already writing a ton so ill talk about them too.

they're a sorta elf species thing from another planet, with pale green skin and pointed ears. they also have a tail, its like,, super thin, but with a feathery bit at the end. probably not the texture of a feather but i dont know how else to describe it. they have short, curly, almost-draco-malfoy-blonde hair that when it gets too long they can put in a man bun. their eyesight is kinda shitty so when they got to earth, they were exploring some supply closets around the airship. drop off area. thing. like airport but for rocketships and also fancier. yeah. they were exploring that area and found a nice big pair of round glasses with grey frames. and they also found a cowboy-style hat and a sharpie so they wrote their name on the underside of the brim of the hat and stole the hat and glasses (but left the sharpie in the supply closet).

yeah theyre my favorite, my absolute beloved, my child, so cool. i want more characters like them but with maybe a bit more snazzier designs. theyre super cool and all but they could have more pizzazz if they werent in a story where its too late to give them more pizzazz. i just want to be able to give my characters thigh-high boots with a bunch of buckles and fluffy hair with tons of accessories crammed in and abnormally large and long ears that can harbor many piercings and horns that can hold rings on them and special little details on their outfits like who knows what but i dont have any characters to do that too, so i have to make them from scratch, which is always hard especially when you have artblock.

and i also have like 17 characters i need to fully draw, line, and maybe color for artfight before august 1st. so i dont know. i have many things to do and plenty of time to do it but instead i spend my time halfway watching repetitive youtube videos that get boring or sleeping all damn day because i stay up too late doing things like this or i just do nothing at all and its tiring and frustrating but i also feel nothing about it like theres no consequence if i dont do it besides you know. not doing it, not gaining that experience, not making something i enjoy.

so i should do it but i dont for whatever reason, i think its called executive dysfunction but im not sure. this post started out very differently than it ended and i said somewhere up there that i was writing this at 2 am but now its almost 3. this is so many words why couldnt i have put this energy into something productive

It was the day everyone was looking forward to, the day that both Victor and I were patiently waiting for, and now its finally here... our wedding day.

We decided that, instead of a church wedding, we'd get married in our best friends barn in his back yard then have the reception at a close–by venue.

We got engaged exactly a year and a half ago, knowing we'd want a winter wedding, exactly a week before christmas. We found a little snowy cottage in the mountains that we wanted to stay at / go to for our honeymoon.

My dress came in last month, and it fits me perfectly. Vic had his since last year, knowing he'd have to keep in shape in order for him to still be able to wear it, when everything finally comes into fruition.

We only invited our friends and family, total wedding and reception maxing out 50, we invited 40. Plenty of room to have a good time.

My maid of honor ‐ Deacon's wife Annie - helped me get into my dress while my two other bridesmaids ‐ Chris and Molly ‐ did my hair and makeup. I was okay with Chris not wearing a dress, as she opted for a dark purple and black pantsuit instead.

Once I got dressed and Vic's best man came for me ‐ Deacon himself ‐ I do my best to keep myself together as we walk to the front doors of the barn.

Since my dad nor my mom is here to walk me down the aisle, Deacon took it upon himself to take on that duty, not taking no for an answer. So here we are at the doors waiting for the famous song to be played, and Deac turns to me and says, "your beautiful. Victor's gonna be a crying mess when he sees you." I laugh as I hold back tears. "Don't cry, your gonna mess up your makeup." I chuckle and reply "who needs makeup when you're in love with someone who loves you no matter what you look like, makeup or no makeup. But thank you, Deacon, for being my shoulder to walk me down the aisle. It means, a lot since my dad's not here to do it."

Before he could respond, we hear our signal and fix ourselves. I hang onto Deacons arm with my left hand while my right holds onto my bouquet and the bottom of my dress as the barn doors are opened. I see everyone standing, the only person standing out to me tremendously, my soon–to–be husband, Victor Tan. And just like Deacon said, once he saw me he couldn't stop the flow of tears from his eyes. I did my best to keep my composure so my makeup wouldn't look like a wreck if front of our guests. As Deacon hands me off to Victor and gets back to his spot behind the groom, I hand my bouquet to Annie and step in–front of Vic and grab both his hands as the officiant starts the ceremony.

"I now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may now kiss your bride." Victor smiles and leans in to give me one of the best kisses yet. We turn to our guests and the officiant says, "I pronounce to you, Mr. & Mrs. Victor Tan!" We kiss one more time and walk out of the barn holding hands, smiling.

We get into the rented range rover and drive to a nearby abandoned building and park.

We both agreed to wait to have sex once we're married, but to also not wait once we're somewhere private, either. So we opted for car sex. Passionate, sexy and meaningful.

Once he parks, we hurry to the back seat, put both seats down and strip ourselves naked, making sure not to waste anymore time than we've already lost by driving to our 'abandoned–building–sex' location.

He wastes no time in getting behind me, pushing himself inside and roughly thrusting in and out, his fingers leaving bruises behind from the amount of pressure he's putting on my hips.

After pictures, we thank eveyone for coming, then leave in the rental range rover and head to our hotel, where we'll stay the night, then early that next morning ‐ 3:40 am ‐ we'll get up, pack and fly to our honeymoon.

After Victor unlocks the front door, we finally walk in the cabin we're staying at for our honeymoon, and drag our luggage to our room. We spend a few hours in our room to ourselves, not coming out until it was 3am ‐ we were both hungry so I had to make something ‐ then going back for the rest of the night.

We finally came out of the room at 2, deciding to go outside and adventure, along with a few snowball fights as well.

A snow war, two snow forts and a shit ton of snowballs later, we go inside for some hot chocolate.

Victor takes off all his coats and his boots then goes to the cabinet and grabs two packets of hot chocolate. I take off my coats and my boots as well then sit on the couch in front of the fireplace and wait.

"I can't believe you ambushed me! Your own husband!" I laugh as he hands me my mug of hot chocolate full of marshmallows. "Yeah, thats something you should get used to." he laughs and sits down beside me.

"do you think anyone knew what we did after they announced us?" I laugh so hard, I sneeze chocolate out of my nose. "I don't think they had a clue, but you did fuck me good though, I'll give you that." he smiles. "thank you. I'll except that compliment, and raise you higher on that tonight."

We finish our hot chocolates and go back outside to the snow.

It was two days before Christmas and we had already planned to stay at his moms until after New Years.

We pack that night and get everything ready for when we wake up early tomorrow morning to leave for the airport headed back home.

> P A R T T H R E E — home <

After an hour flight we finally land and grab our luggage and get off the plane. We go through baggage then head to security check. We walk outside to find his mom waiting for us. We stuff our bags in her car and she drives off.

An hour after we've gotten to his moms home, we settle in and get everything set and ready for Christmas ‐ and a surprise I've been waiting so long to give/tell him - as we both fall asleep peacefully next to each other.

On Christmas morning, Victor surprised me with breakfast in bed ‐ grits {w. cheese}, waffles, bacon, milk and orange juice ‐ then we go open presents with his mom in the living room.

His mom got me some stuff for our new house, I got her a new pot and pan, she got Victor some underwear and socks ‐ to which he was embarrassed that she knew his size ‐ and he got his mom a photobook full of his childhood and adulthood memories.

Victor grabbed my present from behind the couch and handed it to me. I opened it and was shocked ‐ an ornament with a picture of us at our wedding, saying 'Victor & Miya, our first Christmas 2019.' "aww, Victor. You didn't have to do this," I smile then stand up to give him a hug and kiss. "but my present is better," he looks at me in confusion as I grab the final box under the tree ‐ a small box ‐ and smile, handing the box to Victor.

He looks at me with a weird face, but unwraps the red ribbon and pulls the top off the box, then he looks at me. "w–what?" I nod my head as I take a sip of my hot chocolate. "you're, pregnant?" I set my mug down on the coffee table in front of me and turn to Victor. "I found out last week. I wanted so badly to tell you, but I figured since Christmas was coming up I might as well wait. So I put all three tests in this box and wrapped it up, then made sure it was hidden so you wouldn't grab it first." Vic's mom was so happy, she started crying tears of joy. We all hugged each other then threw away all the trash from the presents.

Victor's mom makes up food while I get all the drinks ready and set them on the table. He helps her plate the food and hands them to me to take to the table.

After we eat and Vic and I help wash dishes, we sit down on the couch and put on a movie.

After the ending credits rolled through, Victor realized I was asleep and carried me to the room, then got in beside me and also fell asleep with him cuddling me.

New Years Eve came around, and we had a party at our house. Everyone from SWAT was invited and we had drinks and plenty of snacks for everyone.

We all kept an eye on the time ‐ 10am became 2pm which then became 5pm ‐ until finally 11:18pm rolled around. Only 42 minutes left until New Years.

11:25, 11:35, 11:45, 11:55, then came 11:58, only two minutes until New Years.

Once it hit 11:59, everyone started counting down from 60 ‐ 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, ‐ "5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Happy New Year!" everyone yelled out as Victor's lips found mine and captured them in a kiss, ready for whatever the new year brings us.

hhhh revelation

another megamedia thing that started in 2009, that is the perfect way to explain homestuck!

the MCU.

for one thing, at this point if youre not into them youre probably too overwhelmed by the sheer amount of different content and the insanely complex timelines of events.

but so, the mcu is based off comics, but its a series of movies, and there are some tv shows that add into it.

homestuck started as a webcomic, but it took reader suggestions for commands that would influence the characters minor decisions, originally it was single frame drawings and short animations, but moved onto longer animations and "ended" with the longest animation yet, then went onto adding plot via snapchat stories.

both hs and the mcu have books to bring the movies/comics into a different level of comprehensibility (not necessarily better), which also have behind the scenes/commentary, or like dvd commentary.

they also both have videogames and merchandise and other comics that are not canon but add to the richness of the universe (for hs, thats paradoxspace.com)

but more than the medium, theyre similar in their timeline and plot!!

which is what really made me excited about this.

right so we start out kind of en media res in both.

iron man is the first mcu movie, and im pretty sure it does literally take place in 2009 (just like homestuck), and a TON of stuff that will be shown to us later actually takes place before that moment and will have obviously been essential to this moment (captain america & captain marvel= the creation of the avengers & the first appearance of an infinity stone, the alpha (beforus) and beta (alternia, vriskas gen) trolls= the original sburb/sgrub sessions, origins of the main villains).

Then it moves around and slowly introduces more characters in the same time (jade, rose, dave, & thor, hulk, modern captain america) while hinting at characters before them that will come up later (the trolls, bucky barnes, villains in both) and events driving the plot, developing the characters, and shaping the story (act 1 of homestuck is mostly john trying to get his god damn mail, but it ends up revealing a lot of plot and character relationships, and the pre-avengers MCU movies developed the characters as individuals and set up story elements for later, but is mostly about smaller scale things than once it gets to avengers).

then the team up happens, the avengers/the kids entering sburb, and it changes everything on supermassive scales forever, but also its just a symptom of the way that things are already set to go on much more cosmic scales.

then of course in homestuck its like one whole day hasnt even passed yet, while in the mcu its been three years, BUT after the one day in hs three years pass before they get to the next thing they need to do.

but anyway then we meet the next group thats going to be part of this, in hs its maybe a much closer relationship but still.

so we get the guardians of the galaxy movies and hivebent, where we meet the beta trolls (vriska gen), a group of people who also have a big impact on the plot, either in that they also have infinity stone business or in that they literally created the first group we met and also all of their problems but also all of their problems were predestined to happen anyway so its like a whole thing.

anyway, they seem kinda separate at first but then its revealed that the villain/s have major stakes with both groups, and then its revealed that there are more people also (like the dancestors, cherubs, carapacians, and roxy & her gen of bros in hs and the kree, ravagers, and tons of alien planets) who are all relying on both groups to team up and save all of literal reality.

in meeting the dancestors in openbound, and the skrulls and kree in captain marvel, a little more lore is divulged to really complete the picture of what is going on, whos been doing what, whos been controlling/ed manipulating/ed by whom and what did they do, what are the cosmic repercussions, are our friends going to be okay...

(also, yeah, avengers age of ultron and civil war are great parallels to when the hs ppl had to fight the condesce and jack/bec noir and the period of planning to fight lord english where everyone had completely different ideas and there were major divisions in everyone, or civil war could also be like when the beta trolls all had that crazy ass time on the meteor kind of while the beta kids (john and rose and co) were doing their game but also kind of after that because timelines but anyway when eridan and gamzee and vriska all go apeshit for different reasons and everyone except karkat terezi and gamzee die in at least some way)

so yeah but now everyones done a bunch of stuff together and finally you see that most bad guys theyve dealt with before were actually working for, knowingly or otherwise, the MAIN VILLAIN (thanos/lord english), and so they become aware of the main threat and start preparing and maybe theres some shenanigans involved (john gets reality changing powers and changes the past few years so so much dunno really what happened and what was fake anymore but also a lot of things are a hella lot better so everyone gets shit done and is better prepared for the FIGHT, earths secret weapons all over the world get revealed/cultivated/come back like Black Panther, Vision& Wanda, dr strange &the time stone, Spiderman, thor, hulk &captain marvel.)

and now its time to fight the big all-powerful alien dumb jackass, be it the purple murderer with the infinity gauntlet or the Lord of Time snake skull billiards guy, with EVERYONE vs him (,billions of dead ghosts or just everyone alive).

in homestuck, yeah billions die and they create a black hole but they succeed in making a new universe that finally doesnt have any problems like earth (johns, the one we started out with) did, and everyone whos left alive can enjoy it, and they can make a bunch of people to populate it (then travel forward in the new planet {Earth c}s time 5000 years to give the population time to take root and develop, then they take over and are greeted as the gods they are (the inhabitants could always kinda see them outside the bubble of time travel, so they never stopped knowing about them) and then they took over and made their kingdoms and just lived the hell outta brand new Good Life™.

in the mcu, we dont know yet but i geniunely hope its okay.

anyway thats two of the ways that the mcu is homestuck and im sure ill think of more throughout my lifetime but i hope this was comprehensible.

Who is The Monster? Chp I Part I

Chapter I: Diamond

Part 1

“Are you guys listening??!” Suho’s voice rang through the bluetooth of Chanyeol’s Toyota 86. From the backseat Sehun and Baekhyun exchanged the usual mocking expressions when Suho mom’d them. It was just after sunset and the street lights were flying past them, but Baekhyun hardly paid them any mind. His eyes were fixed glaring at the caller ID on the console of the Sports vehicle.

“Hmm.” Was all Sehun replied.

“Baekhyun! I need you listening! Not Sehun!” Suho scolded, there was more worry in his voice then frustration. Baek just slouched against the leather of his best friends backseat.

“Baekhunnie, we aren’t kidding. If you give one person the wrong look, or flirt with the wrong slut, we could allll be royally fucked.” Chanyeol added in attempts to grab Baeks attention, glancing back at them as he sped down the highway. Finally Baekhyun sighed and said,

“Shouldn’t you give Kyungsoo, this talk? I don’t give people weird looks…” He pouted, annoyed with this dragging lecture. He could occasionally hear Minseok chuckle on his end of the call.

“Kyungsoo does not cause trouble like you do!” Following Chanyeol not too far behind, Suho glanced in the rear view of his Vanquish at Jongin and Kyungsoo. The later whom was smirking at Baekhyun's complaining. He could already imagine the look of suffering on Baeks face.

“This is exactly why we haven’t brought you to this stuff, you never take it seriously enough, Baekhyun-ah… We could all get hurt or lose our cars, or tarnish our public image… or worse, we may have to ask for Kris’ help!” Chanyeol half-joked. This caused a small laugh across all three vehicles. Minseok was following close behind alone in his Subaru BRZ, but he was in the call with the other six in the event he might have something say…. Which was unlikely. This was surely amusing though!

“Look… Just don’t talk to any girls that are hanging around ANY guys. Only talk to a group of girls. Those are usually clean and not taken. Don’t challenge anyone or talk shit. Don’t sit on anyone elses car and the really rich guys, don’t give them a reason to talk to you. Easy enough, Baek?” Sehun turned to look at the bored Idol, his expression the usual indifferent and distant.

“Yeah yeah I got it…”

“If you guys want a drink, make sure you buy it from the bar! Not a random girl. Only have one or two drinks if you plan to race. Now I brought this car, so you guys could race it if you want. Now that you all have your license and have been driving for awhile, a race shouldn’t be too hard. Just don’t crash the car. Whatever you do, just don’t crash into anything or anyone. Losing is better than dying. Only bet the cash you are willing to pay!” Chanyeol also scolded. From the other end of the line, Kyungsoo and Jongin nodded, this was all along the lines of common sense but it was good to know regardless.

“Then how will we race if we didn’t bring money???!” Baekhyun protested with half hearted confusion because of course, he had brought money.

“Don’t worry, there are tons of races that don’t bet money or they bet slips but I don’t think Chan or Junmyeon would let you bet their babies….” Minseok chuckled. Baekhyun looked up at Chanyeol through the rear view, his dark bangs could not hide the growing curiosity and excitement in him.

“This….is why I brought this car instead of the Vulcan or the Mercedes. I don’t mind if you guys lose this one…. Please try not too though…” He chuckled awkwardly.

“Would you let us race your Vanquish, Junmyeon??” D.O asked with legitimate curiosity. Suho only looked in the rear view with sad eyes.

“Don’t worry, I will let you two use my BRZ… I can just win another car if you guys lose this one. No biggy.” All six could almost hear that sweet smile Minseok makes moments like this. He was too sweet sometimes.

“Thank you, Hyung~” Jongin called, the sincerity could not be more clear in his voice. Back in the Toyota, Baekhyun rolled his eyes. Even though he had been to these drag races before, he was for some reason, very nervous and doing everything in his power to hide it. Perhaps because he had never been able to race or mingle around the large crowd. He usually just sat in the passenger's seat while Chanyeol raced or watched from the sidelines. He never participated...

Honestly, Jongin, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun were all very nervous. They had never participated in this stuff unlike all the rest of EXO. But there was a first time for everything. A wednesday night was an odd choice though for their first time…

All three newbies had no idea where they were going, only that it was on the edge of town. The rest of the ride there was in silence and its a good thing too. All seven members were trying to relax. Especially Suho. He was beyond worried. He didn’t really think they should need to experience this… it was always a risk to their livelihood. But if they were going to do it, they might as well do it together, it was safer that way…

After what felt like an eternity to Baekhyun, they finally heard the loud reverb of engines and tires squeals. Sehun sat up from his seat enough to look out the window. Kai and D.O didn’t bother, they were too busy trying to relax and not look so tense. Easier done for Kai… Easier said for Kyungsoo..

As they pulled up and around the large crowd, Chanyeol added some final words…

“Don’t do anything stupid. Don’t look scared, and if you are going to race, let me know first. If you are going to pick a girl up..… find another way home.” They all snickered at his final comment. “If you can’t find any of us, call us. If you see Kris or Luhan, be nice. They will gladly hang with you. Don’t wander too far!” Suho said his last words. However Baekhyun was not paying attention, neither was Jongin.. There was too much commotion outside their vehicles. So many cars and so many...short skirts. The crowd was not that big, probably because it was a Wednesday night. However there was still a considerable amount of people. The boys were used to large crowds of course. However, they were used to crowds of love. Not strangers….potentially hostile strangers.

“They are still people… Just talk to them normally…most of the people won't recognize us... if they do, they won't really care….” Sehun whispered to Baekhyun softly after seeing the look on his face. Baekhyun was a sweetheart sure… but he could be awkward sometimes.. And he knew this. He just nodded with his usual confident, bright smile. Fake it till you make it, right??

Before they knew it, The vehicles all came to a stop. They parked in a rather open circle, all three vehicles pointing inwards. With that said, Baekhyun didn’t hear anything Suho or Chanyeol said before they exited their supercars. As soon as they all stepped out of their vehicles, they were met with the loud music, laughter and engine revs of the usual racing area.

Kyungsoo found this all very, interesting… The excessive noise and colors. It was like a very disorganized concert kind of…

Jongin was very intrigued. He actually wished he had a car of his own to show off.. He watched as Minseok and Chanyeol raised their hoods and got comfortable leaning against them. They had picked a very good spot to watch the races around the loop of the highway. Kai followed their example and leaned against Suhos Vanquish, Junmyeon only raised a brow at the younger before accepting it. The Vanquish was very expensive, in fact one of his most expensive possessions. He rarely raced it. He mostly brought it for show…

Baekhyun on the other hand was so excited now that he was in the crowd. He quickly got himself lost. As soon as he was out of the 86, he picked a direction and started to walk. He was going to explore thoroughly.. Sehun tried to keep track of him, but quickly lost him in the crowd….

It was a little quiet tonight, but thats okay. It was a Wednesday night. No need to get too crazy right? Pfft, wrong. Every night is a good night to get into some trouble or at least have fun…. As a regular around these parts, I had already said my daily hellos and caught up with everyone. However I hadn’t raced yet tonight… I sat on top of my Black F-Type. Normally, I would be off making conversation or dancing with some other gorgeous girls, giving the boys a show. Yet, I wasn’t feeling it tonight… I felt like I needed something a bit more exciting… or just something different. The same old was you know… the same old. Thats when excitement found me…

“Ayumi-ah!” a familiar voice called out. I turned and was met with sparkling deer eyes and a cute nose.

“Luhan-ah! I’ve missed you!” I squealed and slid off the hood of my jag, right into the stars arms. It had been sooooo long since I had seen him. He looked just as gorgeous as ever…

“I have missed you too! I seen you’ve made some changes to your favorite…” He said, pulling away from my embrace just enough to eye the F-Type. His eyes were full of wonder and cuteness just like they always have been, now with a small hint of fascination… “it was like a charcoal color when I last saw it…” he glanced back at me. I only smiled as he inspected further. “These lights though!” He exclaimed looking under my car and within the interior. A bright purple lined my Jaguar. It wasn’t exactly intimidating or terribly unique. But it was pretty and fun. I think that was enough for me.

“Yeah, I thought this look would suit me more….” I nodded, leaning against the side, watching the idol with warm curiosity. He really was a sight for sore eyes. His copper hair in messy waves. Even dressed casually, a grey jacket over a plain grey shirt, and black jeans, he managed to be very handsome.

“Dark and mysterious? No way, that's not you!” He laughed, standing back at full height and squeezing my cheeks. “You need something more colorful! Like the NSX you had! It was so pretty and you!” The Chinese idol continued to play with my face. We were very comfortable with one and other. We had both been through a lot and if there was anyone out there that I might call close to a best friend, besides Chanyeol of course, It would be Luhan….speaking of Chanyeol…

“So if you are here, does that mean Minseok is here tonight?” I smirked and nuzzled into his hands further. His cheeks became a visible red.

“Well...I was actually going to ask you if you had seen Chanyeol at all tonight…” He raised a brow as his lips curled into their own teasing smirk. I shook my head out of his grasp.

“Oh don’t even! I do not look at him like that! We both just like loud and fast things……...That did not come out righ-” Too late.

“Clearly you do! I bet that's exactly how he wants you!~” He laughed giddly to himself. I could only retort with a gentle shove as he laughed to himself.

“No I haven’t seen Chanyeol tonight… Or in awhile for that matter. I saw Minseok last week though…” I eyed him as his laughter came to a slow. He held himself and began to scan the crowd…..seemingly looking for his thoughts within it.

“Hmmm...well since I can’t find either of them and Kris is busy being..Kris…” Chasing tail probably… “We should race!” He smiled bright and excited like. It had been well over six months since my last race with this cutie…

“Hell yeah, loser buys a round!” I called, hopping into my F-type beside us. He chuckled as he ran off for his own vehicle.

“Deal!”

“Ay! Minseok! Isn’t that Luhan’s Maserati?” Junmyeon called, pointing to one of two vehicles that lined up at the start line. Chanyeol, Kyungsoo, Jongin and most importantly Minseok all looked up to see. The spot that they picked was at the top of an incline not too far away. Overlooking the start line, giving them a clear view of every race. So far they were all very close calls. However observing strangers didn’t seem to help put the newbies at ease...

“Looks like Ayumi is here too. I guess they are going to race~” Was all Minseok said. His eyes locked on the racers.

“Luhan is here?” Sehun asked as he finally dragged Baekhyun back from within the crowd. Baekhyun now looking increasingly confused.

“Luhan? Where??”

“Shh!” Chanyeol silenced them just as the panties hit the ground, and off they went. Their engines roared through the night as they took off. The boys watched as the bright red Maserati out raced the purple lit car….or so it seemed. When they rounded the loop, the black car drifted and passed up the red. From that point on, the red was on the blacks tail. With a last push of Nitrous, the race was over and black won.

“Oh! Damn, she’s as fast as ever…” Chanyeol laughed. Minseok, turned to give the rapper a look. Hands in pockets he said,

“Ayumi is one of the best racers in the city… of course she would win..” Minseok laughed softly.

“So wait, that was Luhan??” Baekhyun asked to confirm. “He lost??”

“Yeah, but not a lot of people would’ve won that one, she is very fast.” Sehun shook his head with a small laugh.

“Yeah, Luhan knew he was going to lose…” Chanyeol added before Kyungsoo asked,

“So, if Luhan knew he was going to lose...he actually raced just for the sport of it.. there really are races that are purely for fun….?” He looked up at Chanyeol with some level of uncertainty in his eyes. Baekhyun and Jongin looked up with the same tension in their eyes..

Chanyeol laughed. “Of course! We told you guys that! Anyone can race as long as the stakes are agreed on…” He smiled. The three seemed to appear more relieved.

“I will be right back..” Minseok called softly as he started for the finish/start line where Luhan could be seen exciting his bright red car. Chanyeol raised a brow.

“Bring them over!” was all Chan said before Xiumin disappeared into the crowd, only nodding in response.

“Lulu! You can do better than that! I know you can!” I laughed and snuggled into him. My face barely reached his shoulder, muffling my words. He seemed to hear me fine though.

“Oh please! You always win against me!” He laughed as we shuffled around in each others arms. We needed to move our cars from the start line for the next racers, but a cute victory hug was acceptable even for the crowd who were not surprised since this is me we are talking about. They cheered me on regardless.

“Ayumi! Luhan…” Pulling away from Luhan, I found Xiumin approaching us rather lazily. He had a soft half smile like always and his black hair hung over his eyes, making his expression a little hard to read...as usual.

“Minseok!” I called excited like and ran over to hug him as well. It had only been a week since I last saw the idol….but of course I hug all my friends! He returned the hug but I could feel his focus on someone else.

“Minseok….How are you? Where are you guys at I couldn’t find you!” Luhan approached from behind and we all shared a mini group hug. I could feel Luhans breath on my ear, and Minseok across my cheek.. If I wasn’t sober I might’ve tried to take advantage of this moment… but we had to move our vehicles and there was no time to indulge in them. I sighed as I enjoyed their sculpted figures against me for a second.

“Ill show you guys where we are at…” Xiumin pulled away from me with a knowing look...almost a smirk. He knew what I was thinking. I only giggled as Luhan and I retreated back to our vehicles, Minseok got into Luhans red Maserati Ghibli. Grrr, If only I could listen in on them! I know they have a weird… ‘unspoken’ history. But neither of them ever opened up to me about it. Oh well, one of them will tell me at some point.

I followed behind Luhan slowly as the crowd parted for us until I could quickly spot Chanyeol’s red chrome Toyota Rocket Bunny. Of course, I got excited and parked to the left of it, following the customary circle, Luhan parking to the left of me.

“Ayumi-ah!” A deep voice called as I stepped out of my baby. I wasted no time running right into Chanyeol’s arms. He stood up just in time from his 86 to pick me up and swing me around. God he was so strong, I was like a rag doll in his grasp, him being so damn tall I barely reached his chest.

“Chan!! Chann!!!! Let me gooooo!” I squealed because I knew what came next. I squirmed through my giggles as his grip grew tighter around me...and then I felt it. His fingers poked and pinched my sides. “NO! I won! I don’t deserve this!!! Minseok!!! SEHUN! Get him off!!!” I cried out between squeals and laughter. Chanyeol only laughed and continued the assault. I looked up to see Sehun shaking his head and leaving me to fend for myself. Minseok only smirked. I loved Chanyeol. He was probably the only person who didn’t treat me like…. Well everyone always felt so fake sometimes. Chanyeol was always real with me. Even if that meant suffering with pinches and tickles.

“Yeol-ah, I think she’s turning blue...hehe…” I could barely make out Junmyeon somewhere to my right. With a smile in satisfaction, finally, after squirming and me almost running out of breath, he released me.

“That never gets old… I love hearing you scream and seeing you freak out.” The rapper snickered down at me, pinching my side one more time.

“Thank you, Suho…...Stop et!” I huffed and reached out to pinch him. He shuffled back just in time as Luhan said,

“Chanyeol! How are you! Looks like you finally brought these cuties with you.. Have you guys raced yet?” Luhan asked as he exchanged a tight hug with…. My eyes widened as I hadn’t noticed the rest of EXO here. Personally, I was a fan of the boys, but knowing Chanyeol had really changed the way I viewed them. He was real with me and treated me like a person, not an object. So I always made it a point to treat them the same… Nevertheless I hadn’t met Jongin, Kyungsoo or Baekhyun. The last of them was in a very tight hug with Luhan. Jongin looked right at home, he looked like a racer himself the way he leaned on Junmyeon's Aston Martin. Kyungsoo was much cuter in person. His dark hair very nicely styled up in a fresh arch. He didn’t look out place, but not like he owned the place like Kai. When Luhan finally pulled away, Chanyeol introduced us.

“Guys this is Miyamoto Ayumi. She is an alternative model from Japan. Well… at least she was. I think she just races nowadays…”Chan laughed softly, glancing back at me with uncertainty. “Ay, this is Byun Baekhyun, Do Kyungsoo and Kim Jongin…” I am not going to lie. I was nervous as fuck. Not because they were EXO, but because they were Chanyeol’s friends more than anything. Not only that but they were like fresh meat and not familiar with this scene. I didn’t want to off put them… Regardless I reached out my hand to shake theirs.

“Its nice to meet you!” Kai leaned forward, bowing slightly and took my hand in a friendly, excited shake. He was just as handsome in person. His light brown hair looked very sexy as it framed the sides of his gorgeous smile. I did blush but it was soft and hopefully unnoticeable.

“A pleasure.” Kyungsoo was very polite and his eyes were very...curious. Like he was drinking in information as fast and intense as possible. I smiled warmly in response. His handshake was firm and strong. His bow soon after was very formal as well... Scary for such a smol cutie…

“Chanyeol has never mentioned you.. I think…Nice to meet you though!” Baekhyun was talkative like I had been told. More importantly, the camera didn’t seem to do him justice. He looked much more masculine in person. His jawline was sharper and his frame was more broad then it was slender. He was much more handsome than I had anticipated. His dorky smile was the killer for me in this moment. Try as I might, his smile was contagious and I broke into a bright smile in response...even if this bitch Chanyeol never spoke about me..

“I can’t imagine he would, you kids don’t need your ears tainted with my corruptive and salacious existence…” I smirked, expecting a very different reaction then I what i recieved.

“Ah~ Standing next to Yeol you can’t be that bad. Do you beat his ass in races? That's probably why he never talks about you…” Baekhyun laughed. He was still shaking my hand for some reason. I wasn’t about to stop him. His hands were soft and the grip was friendly and not too hard. I only laughed and looked back at Chanyeol.

“Well its not wrong… Chan are you embarrassed that you can never win?” I returned the snicker from earlier. I knew how competitive he was… Clearly Baek knew too..

“No no no no...no! I… Okay definitely win a lot races! You know that, don’t feed them lies!” He stood up from his Toyota to defend himself, smiling in attempt not to laugh.

Sehun scoffed. “Yeah sure…” Chanyeol wasn’t having it.

“It’s not like you guys ever beat her in a race! Especially not with that thing!” He motioned to my F-type. Honestly, it wasn’t my fastest, but the handling was ridiculously good on it.

“Junmyeon could probably beat me in the Vanquish..but someone doesn’t like to race itttt..” I stuck my tongue out at Suho. He shook his head and laughed.

“You are not going to bait me into a race… I am not Chanyeol.” He gave me a firm smile. Suho wasn’t having it either. I could only giggle in response. At this point I had forgotten about my hand in Baekhyun’s. I looked back at him, he was watching me closely, still holding my hand and no longer shaking it. His eyes were fixed and curious, not like Kyungsoo’s curious… but more of a… I felt him sizing me up. Guys did this a lot, and I was used to it. The only thing to do, is to return the favor.

“Is Kris here, too, Luhan?” I heard Junmyeon from behind me, still on the hood of his Vanquish. My eyes wandered from Baekhyun's Nikes up his torn black jeans, over his White Supreme shirt, to his eyes. I smiled once I was done checking him out and released his hand. He looked surprised but quickly returned the flirty smile. God he was beautiful, even in simple clothes and no makeup…

“Yeah but I haven’t been able to find him…. Kai, D.O Baekhyun… You guys should race.. Or at least you Minseok. Ay-ay told me you come around the track often…” Luhan stepped forward beside Xiumin. The Korean idol only laughed and shook his head.

“Nah, tonight is for these three….” He nodded toward the boys. I walked around and sat against my F-type, motioning Sehun to come closer. Without a word, he approached. I gave him a tight hug as I listened to Luhan try to tease Chanyeol, Minseok or Suho into a race. Unfortunately neither of them wanted to race insisting they wanted the newbies to race. Sehun silently returned my hug. He looked very good tonight. He wore a white button up, black skinnys and black converse. His brown hair with as much volume as ever. We continued to snuggle as Chan asked the newbies if they were going to race at all tonight. Sehun and I were very comfortable with each other. Honestly, I had been to a lottttt of parties with him. We partied rather frequently together and I have woken up naked beside Sehun more than once. Except I don’t think I ever had sex with him...maybe I did.. I don’t know. I just know we have partied a lot together. I loved getting high as fuck with him and Chan. Those were great nights. If Sehun wasn’t an idol……..and potentially not interested in females… I would definitely pursue him. I looked up to inspect his jawline, when an idea occurred to me..

“Why don’t the newbies race each other?” I asked the boys. Minseok and Junmyeon seemed to be caught off guard by this idea. Chanyeol jumped up and closed the hood of his Rocket Bunny.

“Fuck yes. Ay..this is why I love you. Great ideas. Which of you two will go first…?” I could feel Sehun rest his chin on my head as we watched the three, whom were very much in shock by this sudden shift in situation.

Theory on Rage Powers (Black Magic)

SO! A while back when I was a mod for the analysis from the meteor blog I had made a post that was a little mini theory that proposed the idea of rage players having more than just a berserker state as a power. That power was the exact opposite of white science (which is what hope players seem to use as an energy, examples being Eridan's white science wand and Jake expelling a shit ton of it as a page) which I deemed so as black magic. Black magic would work in a similar way to white science, in that it is a highly destructive energy, but far more corruptive and generally used for devastating effects depending on the class. Since both Hope and Rage are very heavily related to belief and religious-like themes, black magic would also be powered by belief, but instead of using positive emotions, it'd be negative emotions. Its kinda like the light and dark side of the force if I had to make a reference to something. But while Hope is described in believing in many different things, the power of black magic that Rage players wield would grow stronger the more belief you have in a single thing. That single thing could be anything, from yourself, to friends, to a god, etc. THIEF. A thief of rage would rarely use black magic as a means of offense, more so as a means of distraction. The more rage they steal from others, the stronger their black magic becomes. They could use their black magic for mostly passive effects (surprisingly), but only to allow their activeness to become even stronger. Their motivation and ability to take rage from others would grow stronger with each theft, making it easier and easier for them each time. They could cast hexes to make you even more likely to output even more anger, only allowing them to siphon off even more anger from you. A thief of rage would use black magic to create cattle, much like a vampire does for blood. They would use all their black magic to do everything they can to increase the amount of rage, fear, and passion in a session, creating a buffet for them. ROGUE. Opposed to a thief of rage, a rogue of rage would use black magic to actually balance out a session. Similarly to a thief of rage, they'd use black magic to cast hexes and jinxes to increase rage, but just so that they could redistribute it accordingly to make sure there was no excess. They'd hold to the background, essentially making sure that their session mates wouldn't turn on each other by using black magic. They're also incredible in battles when with a teammate, capable of using their black magic to empower their ally, giving them a taste of rage. HEIR. Heir is known to both be protected by their aspect, become their aspect, as well as inheriting their aspect. In regards to how an Heir could use black magic, it'd be one of the classes that would have a VERY easy time using it. Using black magic they could surround themselves in an aura of pure black magic, for both defense and offense. Imaging a shield thats constnatly warping and distorting, create and shooting oout spikes tat could keeo enemies far away. Not only that, but the black magic aura could be used to project terrifying images of an opponents fear. If their rage and belief is strong enough an heir could even become this terrifying image, or just prefer being an ever shifting mass of black magic, destroying everything in their path. For those who have seen Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, this could be similar to the form an obscurus takes, the giant shadowy mass that wreaked havoc across the city of New York. MAID. Maid is a little harder to tackle purely because of the amount of speculation about what their power actually is, but the one that I like the best is maids being "made" of their aspect. A person thats *literally* fucking made of black magic and pure negative energy is a force to be reckoned with. What sets maids apart from heir and witches is that instead of straight up manipulating their aspect or becoming their aspect, they already are their aspect and are able to distribute it to others. I could see a maid of rage using black magic as a literal form of energy, able to fire blasts of black science at her enemies, all the while boosting her own abilities and her teams through supportive black magic, increasing their drive and blood-lust. PAGE. Oh boy. Page. Page is an interesting case, they wouldn't exactly have direct control over their black magic, but they could use a LOT of it. Like holy shit. Think of it like you press a button on the "FUCK ME UP" machine. The page wouldn't have much access to black magic until they're fully realized, but when they are they'd be able to use black magic for a variety of destructive effects, whether that being summoning demons, erasing people or things, or hell even creating zombies from the dead. A page might not be in extreme control of their black magic, but they would be extremely powerful when it comes to actually using it for insane effects. KNIGHT. While some of the other classes would sue black magic for rather flashy effects and powers, the Knight would use it in the most efficient (and badass) way possible. A knight of rage could either embue their weapons with negative energy, using their weapon as a conduit for destruction and corruption, or flat out creating weapons from it. The mere sight of seeing a knight of rage wielding a black magic weapon could instill the utmost terror upon their foes, or possibly even cursing them. Each attack would be filled with malice, increasing their damage the longer they engage an enemy. Combine this with a typical berserker state most if not all rage players have access too, and the knight of rage is guaranteed to make some people shit themselves. SEER. The Seer is among the rage classes that wouldn't exactly use black magic in the typical way other rage players use it. They would still be capable of using black magic for offensive capabilities, but their true power lies in their supportive abilities. As said before, black magic grows in strength along with your belief and fury. A Seer could EASILY pin down nearly any event they want (most particularly, events of strife and discord which is very important to know as a seer, figuring out when the worst shit is about to happen, IE a session mate going crazy) using black magic if they were furious. You could never escape from a seer of rage on the warpath. Their righteous anger would allow them to pin you down anywhere, especially if they were finding you to commit an act of vengeance (or uh, cold blooded murder.) A seer of rage would always know when to act and when best to apply their passion and anger. MAGE. Mages are known to suffer from their aspect, but they are also graced with the ability to know absolutely everything about their aspect. A mage of rage would know the best way to use black magic. A mage of rage using black magic would be extremely terrifying. They could create curses and cast them upon anyone who wrongs them, and understand the best way possible to make their black magic efficient. As for them suffering from it, I fancy the idea of a mage of rage visibly changing as they use black magic more and more. They would slowly turn more and more monstrous, eyes becoming bloodshot, and their body surging with purple lightning. Their hair could even begin to lift, and their skin taking a pale discoloration. As they suffer from black magic, their powers would grow even stronger, being filled with rage and negative energy, becoming a nigh unstoppable master of black magic. They could manipulate a session from the background, pulling strings like a master puppeteer. SYLPH. A sylph using something like black magic would seem rather counter intuitive. However, a sylph could use black magic in ways none could even think of. They could create demons made of pure negative energy to listen to their every whim, create eternal shadows to fall upon the world, and more. A sylph wielding black magic could even revive dead players for a limited amount of time, allowing the dead players to commit one last act of revenge upon who wronged them or the sylph, becoming a mad zombie who would not rest until their vengeance was fulfilled, essentially a revenant. Not only that but if a sylph wished it, they could use black magic to unleash a wave of passion, anger and motivation to support their team mates and grant them a taste of rage to do what they need to do. WITCH. A witch of rage using black magic would be absolutely text book. They'd become a literal witch, casting curses, hexes, and jinxes that could devastate anyone in their path. They could even turn their enemies rage on themselves, making their enemies literally tear each other, and themselves apart. They could essentially create the perfect warrior, taking aspects of rage and using black magic to create a monster of destruction, but still able to think cognitively as the witch has willed it so. A witch of rage could use black magic to almost to anything they wanted, making them an extremely formidable opponent. BARD. Oh dear. A Bard of rage wielding black magic is something you wouldn't even notice. The only signs being the whisps of negative energy emitting from them, like an aura of terror, and then its gone. A bard of rage would black magic as a means of pure destruction of course, but not immediately. Imagine bugs slowly picking a rotting corpse clean. A bard of rage could do that to nearly *anything* using black magic. Their destruction would never be instant. It'd be like watching a building slowly be overcome by pure corruption itself, making it fall apart piece by piece until suddenly it is gone. No one would realize it was black magic until the final moment of corruption, where it seizes the entire building and makes it turn to ash and dust. Their black magic would seem like nothing at first, slowly becoming more and more destructive with each use. But *every* time, the destruction would take its time. The bard knows that they've done their job, all they have to do is wait and watch their black magic cause whatever they wanted to fall, crumble. It'd be silent and slow. PRINCE. Unlike the bard, the prince wielding black magic would not take their time. They do not use their black magic to summon demons, nor would they use it to become a terrifying image. They would use it for destruction and destruction only. In the blink of an eye a prince of rage could use black magic as a blast or beam of energy, wiping out their target, desolating whatever they wanted to destroy. It'd be volatile and instant, happening in the blink of an eye. The angrier the prince become the stronger their black magic becomes, and with that their destruction would be unparalleled to any other aspect. They could decimate anything in their path. They wouldn't bother making storms of destruction and chaos (which they could do). It would just be pure black magic used to wipe out whatever they lay their sights on.
