Stupidly small things I have noticed about myself partway through doing the blogilates 30 day 100 ab challenge.
- I'm walking faster
- Bending over isn't such an issue
- It has helped to have something to focus on when stressed and need to zone out
- I can now comfortably cross my legs when sitting in a chair on the sofa

so there’s a #100abchallenge thing and I was gonna do it with maybe some personal updates via instagram and youtube, basically the “here’s what it’s like when you’re not in shape, and you’re heavier than the people showing you how to do this, and when you have xyz chronic illness” and idk, does anyone have an interest in that

#100abchallenge #day8 - Today we are doing Roll Ups! It wasn’t so bad for me but as a @poppilatesofficial instructor, we do A LOT of these so I guess my core is used to it?! However, as you can see behind me, some of my members had to modify. So I’ve been semi-off the bandwagon for about 7 days now. I’ve been sorta tracking my calories (but not very faithfully) and I haven’t been doing the 100 ab challenge or walking the dogs. I’m gonna try my best to pick up where I left off. I just did 50 sit-ups (half of day 10 of the challenge) now I’m gonna walk the dogs and I’ll do the other 50 when I get back.
I got this.
As a little 2 week update, I currently still weigh 185.5, but that’s after a lot of cheating.

So the way I'm gonna do this is every 2 weeks I'll post a progress photo along with updated measurements/weight.
I'm doing the #100AbChallenge and the January workout calendar from www.blogilates.com along with strength training on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
So far I'm dying and I woke up this morning feeling like I got hit by a truck. I can't do the videos in their entirety without some serious modifications to the moves but for me that's ok, as long as I keep doing them.
I really need to meal prep this weekend because I'm having a hard time finding things that are healthier to eat and at least kind of follow my macros in my parents' house. (even though both their fridges are full 🤦♀️)
Anyway. That's the plan. I'll probably post periodically throughout the week with reblogs and stuff but actual progress posts are going to be next Tuesday (the 15th) and Thursday (the 31st, cuz that's the end of the month and therefore the "after" photo of the program).

Didn't feel like going to the gym so banged out a GraceFitGuide home workout plus a little Blogilates 100Abchallenge.
My abs hurt and I'm sleepy so it was a decent day.

I’m having a hard time finding my “Why” for all this healthy eating and fitness stuff. I can feel myself giving up because it is getting more and more difficult. Back in December when I started this, it felt easier I guess because it was new. But now the newness has worn off and yet I still haven’t made being healthy a habit.
I am worn out from work and I can barely walk because my feet and ankles are so swollen so the last thing I want to do is walk the dogs or work out. I tried to make it easy on myself and only do the #100abchallenge by blogilates for exercise, but I did the first 10 days before missing several days and completely giving up.
As for the calorie counting. I get obsessed yet I still cheat every day. My main offender is sweets and milk. I can’t turn down someone offering me food. I also have the need to clean my plate even if I don’t like the way the food tastes.
