In the rarefied parts of the mind, concentration has a momentum of its own. In the intuitive mind spaces, the attention finds a way to remain with a mental exercise of its choice. You aren’t as involved in choosing the exercise and sticking to it without wandering off as you would be if you were still with the conscious or subconscious mind spaces.

The intuitive mind is seemingly frictionless for mental exercises. The only problem is that you won’t always get to choose the exercise that goes on indefinitely and effortlessly. And that’s exactly what happened with me tonight. The mind got mesmerised with its collection of intuitive imagery. I had spent considerable time looking at intuition-generated images when I realised that this isn’t why I sat up to meditate.

‘Got back on track and stayed with the Hong Sau until my bodily tremors turned into trembles. So far, the turn from tremor to tremble is happening at around 60 minutes of the session. I am expecting this to change.

Anyone remember when wood floors were a huge tumblr aesthetic back in like 2012? Those were the days. Loving some natural light in my apartment these days as the days get shorter and solstice approaches. This semester has already been a whirlwind and it only started last week! I hope everyone is having a great semester and midterm season! 🤍

Dear Gus & Magnus,

Today was a very civic-duty day for me. I voted to continue a school millage this morning because I think we've got to fund our public schools to make them better -- this is funding that will likely fund a new auditorium for you two, assuming you will both end up at Central High School.

I also voted for the library millage because having a great library system is an important part of making the city a community I want you to grow up in.

I also went to the Rotary Club meeting today (as a guest).
