Yep played it for the first time I think a year ago and absolutely adored it from start to finish funniest thing was I was wearing my fit bit and I noticed when I was playing the section where jasons chasing you in like a giant crusher my heartbeat was going 135bpm

I’ve had a hight heart rate for a few days and I am exhausted. I can barely eat because I’m often nauseous. I stopped coffee and all drinks with caffeine. Tachycardia is no fun. It needs to calm down before Sunday because if I’m already at 135bpm while sitting doing nothing, imagine what I’ll be when seeing new Aemond footage.

Sometimes I just wish I was normal and healthy.

ohh there we go, finally a real reaction: avg 135bpm standing still, pumping so fucking hard its probably visible from across the room. every so often itll throw an extra strong beat or suddenly slow down 25bpm for a few seconds before sorting itself out. my heart may b resilient but i knew it wld reach its limit if i kept pushing n fuck it feels so good knowing i forced it to struggle like this

Bass Practice 05/10/24

Again for this session I started off with Collector and managed to play at 135bpm quite comfotably. At 143bpm I was a bit inaccuarte and achey so I stopped there.

Next I practiced Californication and my pinky definately has gotten stronger. I still buzz a bit in the verse, but there is an improvement in the pre-chorus which is good. Hopefully next time I can aim to go no buzz and not miss the strings when I pick them. Just mind the sniffing and filled up laundry basket lmao.

Next I managed to play 1981 at 135bpm. The last two bars before the chorus need to be clearer with the little thingy thing. I enjoy attempting to play it though:) I need to press my fingers harder when I'm going fast because my fingers barely press on the strings and sort of glide across, which will be a getting used to the difference between a bass and a guitar I guess. I did take a video of 1981, but I can't put two videos in one post and I can't be bothered to do a separate post for it so I'll show my progress after I've gotten Californication down.

I put this together in the late 90s, originally with General MIDI sounds and sampled drums, but there have been issues ever since XP with syncing the digital audio and the MIDI, so I imported everything into a DAW and made new sounds for the MIDI parts. Even without the General MIDI sounds, it remains 135bpm of unpolished lack of music theory from the late 90s

There's a melody line, but I could never think of words I liked. I had a vague idea of "This planet's spinning out of control/Around and around the whole world is between us/Oh dear satellite please relay my call/I know yes I know I will see you again" in the chorus, and some sort of cyber romantic fairy tale for the rest

Why am I sharing this now? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I still remember how proud I felt of it back then

Next chapter of my life ✨

If anyone has followed me for a while, di ko ni akala, I’d see this day come forward. To see that before my 28th birthday I’d find out I am carrying a life inside of me. Purong excitement naman ako pero nervous but excited. I never thought na, id be so happy to be talking to this little strong baby who has a powerful heart of 135bpm 💕

I was worried because the last month, akala ko I lost it kasi I was bleeding-spotting pero bleeding off and on-though sabi nung doctor its normal. So na bigyan nya ako nang medication to help the baby stay with me. I kept talking to it saying to be strong for mama kasi i didn’t feel my stomach anymore although at that point i didn’t know how far I was with the pregnancy.

Not knowing when I got assaulted at Sunglass hut I was pregnant. I didn’t know na, it was God, my guardian angels and my baby telling me to leave that toxic job that became not safe anymore to work for.

Here I am rejoicing and thanking God for this blessing- knowing I don’t know how my parents will react to it.

I pray I find the right words and the direction to tell them. Though the angels has protect me from many tribulations and I am thankful for my guardian angel’s protection.
