I just couldn't resist. In so much TV writing today, there is a desire to have twists and turns and sometimes things don't make much sense in retrospect. Though this is minor compared to some things I've seen.
At least there could've been some dialogue in which Worf tells Raffi that because the changeling was at the point at which it needed to revert to its liquid state, it couldn't transform into something to easily elude them or fight them off when they caught it. And it's possible such lines were in the script but ended up being cut.
So I just finished watching all the way through DS9 a few weeks ago and I decided to follow S3 of Picard as new episodes drop and can I just say…
…Holy Shit, I felt GIDDY at that reveal. There is so much they could do with this - I really hope we get to see some old DS9 cast members, even if it’s just a cameo.
Also, I know the show is called “Picard”, but goddamn is Worf stealing the show. “I am Worf, son of Mogh, house of Martok, son of Sergei, house of Rozhenko, bane to the Duras family, slayer of Gowron” - damn, dude, THAT’S a way to introduce yourself…
…especially since he followed it up with “…I have made some chamomile tea. Do you take sugar?”
It’s so weird to think that on ABC he was getting ranted at by an emotionally unstable blonde idiot at the same time he sacrificed himself for his sons on the CW.
Frodo: Sam hates Gollum, but that is what I shall become once I have lost myself to the ring... he’ll despise me...
Sam if Frodo did turn into a Gollum: That’s a very nice fish you caught with your bare hands, Mr. Frodo, and its very smart of you to eat it raw, saves us the trouble of starting a fire. I knitted you a sweater in case you get cold running around in that loincloth of yours. Is the sun hurting your eyes? I’ll kill it if it’s bothering you. I’ll kill the sun

Eddie always shouts Buck's name now because the last time he shouted more than 8 times Buck didn't respond because he was dead so he is always extremely excited to call out to Buck because Buck will respond. Someone needs to sedate me.
