The story of Phupha (KITTIKUN TANSUHAS aka KUN) and Nanfah (WATTIKORN PERMSUBHIRUN aka KIAK) began with two short mini series in AUGUST 2022 (PHUPHA) and NOVEMBER 2022 (NANFAH)

I adored both mini series immensely so after the 2nd mini (NANFAH) a series was announced to tell their entire story.

The mini series were directed by SITTICHAI CHUTSIRI aka CHOI and he's known to be a director of commercials but he also directed short BL 21 DAYS THEORY for Rookie Thailand.

After several false starts for the series to premiere it finally did on WeTV on March 1, 2023 with a re airing on the DEVONTE296 OFFICIAL YOUTUBE CHANNEL.

The Series had so many changes from the mini series it sadly was a bit of let down...just a bit because I was rooting for Phu and Nan. The Series also had a different director than the mini series KONGKIAT KHOMSIRI aka KHOM.

Khom is a screenwriter and director of a slew of series and movies. Most notably to BL fans, he directed KINNPORSCHE.

The screenwriter of The Promise was THANYATHORN SIWANUKROH aka FUNT or FUNTLAND. I'm not certain but I don't think she wrote the mini series. No writers were credited for PHUPHA | NANFAH that I'm aware of. And on FUNT'S MDL page she isn't credited for either mini series. Though she has an impressive list of screenwriter credits.

Now the gifs I made are from what is referred to as a special workshop episode and is under 7 minutes

Nan and Phu are a happy couple and Nan asks Phu when he knew he was in love with him. Phu answers but ask Nan if he recalls the kiss they shared the night before their graduation (Nan was drunk...this was in the series but not the minis) Nan says he has no recollection because while inebriated his memory is wiped clean.

There was a special episode called PROMISE: THE HONEYMOON which required payment which I did not do since I was disappointed with the series.

A season 2 is planned but no release date.

I've basically had people isolating me and preventing me from forming outside connections #for almost two decades. 2/3 of my life :| the fact that I've held it together at ALL for a whole year on my own has to count for something.#anyway WOW nobody asked lmao #like I said I'm really normal about music it's NOT weird that a random album has me reflecting on 20 years of past trauma

THANK YOUUUUU AHHHHHHH WHAT A KIND THING TO SAY!! you're actually not the first to make this comparison, which i LOVE!! i hesitate to confess that i've never yet seen an episode of Toonheads myself... key word YET!! if i'd have seen it when it was airing at a more cognizant age i know kid me would have eaten it up

but seriously! i'm so happy to hear this :') i love shows like Toonheads because it's proof that The People Love To Learn!! and that's what i aim for! it just feels gratifying to learn something new. and even moreso to share it with others!! i definitely see myself as a bit of an archive account myself--whether you have all the interest in the world in golden age cartoons (welcome to the club!) or absolute squat, i at least hope that at least one person comes out learning something new and is maybe even able to foster that knowledge further! it's so rewarding. like an eternal scavenger hunt for knowledge!! so it makes me quite happy to get comparisons like these. thank you thank you!!

spent weeks psyching myself up to stand up to my mum and then immediately got shot down by her 😃👍

#vent incoming i apologise in advance for the long tags #we've lived together just the two of us since dec 2021 (although her boyfriend is here like 2/3 of the time as well)#and since i got my job in march 2022 i have been paying half of all the bills (literally down to like tv license when i barely watch the tv)#which is £300 a month #plus i buy all my own food + pay for the amazon prime she uses + contribute to various household things like toilet roll etc #and she doesn't have a mortgage so i am paying the same amount as her to live in her house #(and it is very much her house not our house)#and I've never been very happy with any of that but never complained either #but then recently it turned out she never set up the water bill when we moved in (it's one of the only bills i didn't sort for us)#so we have a huge backdated bill from dec 2021 and i knew she was going to tell me to pay half #so for the past month or so I've been preparing myself for this conversation and sure enough today she came and said 'we owe £700'#so i was like 'oh i thought maybe it would've been covered by my £300/month' which is the biggest stand I've been able to work myself up to #and she immediately started going on about how i live here too and use water too so it's just as much my responsibility to pay #and how when we're both earning i should be paying my share and i was like yeah i know that's why i never complained about paying before #but also i already pay more than most people would to live with their parents #and she went off about how actually most people charge their grown up kids rent on top of the bills so really i'm lucky i don't have to #(when she got the original £300 figure it was actually rounded up from like £240 to include 'rent' but i wasn't gonna bring that up now)#and in conclusion she doesn't see why she should be subsidising my bills #like i don't know maybe because you're my MOTHER and i am your CHILD who is just starting out in the adult world #and maybe that entitles me to being treated better than some lodger???!!!!!#anyway i paid the bill and now i'm trying and failing at not crying at my desk 😃#talking

Mike wheeler has to face the facts. Despite Vecna's curse killing victims in Hawkins one by one, he finds himself in California, Lenora, only to find a complex situation with Will. This day is one that will change everything....

A canon compliant fic that starts in season 4 of stranger things and follows both Mike and Will's prospectives from Lenora all the way to a destroyed, apocalyptic Hawkins after the four gates of those victims collided.

The story is split in two parts:

Part one: The best spring break ever

After the terrible shooting, and Will thinking everything was his fault, Mike tries to approach him, even try to get a word from him. But will doesn't talk- he won't talk. He's mad at himself for everything.

All changes when Mike spits out that one lie he never meant. A lie that stigmatized Will for ages.

Part two: This is the end(?)

A year later. There was an attack on Halloween - called the crawl- that forces both mike and will to come closer to each other after drifting away for a long while. The Hawkins crew now has to protect their hometown from demo creatures by completing night shifts out in the wild, specifically by checking areas that are abandoned and in a non-quarantined zone. Little did they know that in one of them affected Will in a way that can't be deceived. Little did they know that this shift would change everything not even four days later.

The finished story contains 29 chapters and about 120k words. Hope you enjoy <3

well it's the end of the year :,,,) what a year it was

i had a supremely awful twelve months to the point that i'm shocked i made it to december alive without having been taken out by a heart attack or something, but i'm really thankful for all the kind experiences i had on this site :3 there's a lot of good friends I've made on here--through gift exchanges and art trades and requests and chats in dms and through tags--so, overall, I would say it's been an okay year <3

#believe me when i say tumblr and my mutuals are a gigantic highlight of my year #like yeah when i think of march i think “yeah my dad died” but i ALSO think of the art trade i did and the sweet tags i received lol #2022 is the first time i had any sort of tumblr presence; i didn't start posting regularly til the end of the year when i got into starex #and 2023 is where it really amped up #as a kid it was my dream to have “a following” online so it's really wild to regularly have kind words and interactions sent my way #and i hit so many milestones! 100 followers! finding out my art was traced! having real life requests and 2 whole commissions!#it scares me sometime that my art is now a permanent part of anyones first impression of starex on tumblr but its fun #anyways. onwards to 2024 #art or whatever #rambles
