H.B.'s Hair:

You know, it seems that throughout the three seasons of the 1998 "Worst Witch", Hardbroom's night attire would be the same; purple silk pajamas with a Chinese (?) robe (did she take a trip to China and got that along with her black cheongsam or were those gifts?). But then there's her hair.

In season 1, her hair was kept in a tight, updo ponytail.

In season 2, her hair was down but there was a braid wrapped around her head.

Then in season 3, it was all out.

Makes you wonder why the producers had that done. Was it deliberate? Was it to show how, despite being the same old H.B., Mildred's influence seemed to have allowed Constance to "Let her hair down"?

the thing that drives me nuts about helluva boss is that it has an absurd and childish gross sexual humor that uses a lot of bad words, and that type of humor, while i admit it kinda sucks, makes me laugh a lot. But, i dont like how this show uses it, like it does nothing for me????

Like, i can enjoy it when it comes from Panty and Stocking, old YTPs and hell, even Family Guy. But when Helluva Boss tries to do it, its just... not funny, even for us who likes that type of humor?

I think what happens is that most Helluva Boss "gross" jokes arent even jokes, its just the edgy characters naming a genital or saying a bad word and expecting you to laugh.

Like, other pieces of media that has "adult" humor that at least uses rhythm of comedy, there is a structure on the joke and a punchline. Meanwhile, in Helluva is "act 1: some edgy looking character appears and you expect them to say a bad word. Act 2: they scream a bad word for no reason. Act 3: thats it, laugh". It ends up being uncomfortable instead of funny.

The other day i watched a YTP of a mexican presidential debate, and when one of the guys said "we need to maximize the masturbations on the streets, i have created a program called FBI, wich means: fucking bitches institution" and as dumb as that was that singke line made me laugh more than the entirety of H.B.

It's true. There's almost never anything clever to the raunchy jokes in HH/HB, no timing, no setup, no deeper grasp of how comedy works. Even when he seems like he's just throwing nonsense at the walls, you can tell Brandon Rogers actually knows what he's doing, but Vivzie's basically just a toddler yelling "PENIS" as loud as she can.

This is a very nice dramatic shot of the half unit I was digging out. This is all mixed context, so I mostly did this out of practice.

This was some of my trowel work from the week prior, because everyone at this current dig is very old 😂💙

A pair of South Shore Line R-2 boxcabs (ex-New York Central) tote a single boxcar down Orange Street, at the intersection of Huey Street, in South Bend, Indiana on May 10, 1964. The locomotives are probably either coming from, or going to, switch a local customer, H.B. Fuller, just a few hundred feet behind the boxcar to the right.

Alright then, here's the characters, the weapons they use (that's a contributing factor, I'd say), and some details whenever I consider it necessary.

First off, Gwin Evans, 24 years old who uses long swords and assault rifles:

Doug Barret, 30 years old, who uses photon sabres (basically light sabres) and rayguns (also, voiced by Patrick Seitz)

Lao, 31 years old, the Sad™ widower who uses a sniper rifle and javelin (voiced by Matt Mercer)

L'cirufe, the tallest playable character bar none, who uses shields and psycho launchers (kinda like the orbitars in KIU)

Kentaro Nagi, 57 years old, who wields longswords and gattlings guns - the resident Dunban-like swordmaster

Phog Christoph, 24 years old, who uses dual swords and dual guns (also very likely neurodivergent)

Frye Christoph, 30 years old, older brother of Phog, uses gattling guns and longswords, enjoys drinking about as much as Gregor Fire Emblem

Hector Bumwhistle Birthwhistle, or H.B. for short, 28 years old, uses shields and assault rifles

Also of note with H.B. is the Superior Form™:

Bozé Lowes, 54 years old, uses javelins and sniper rifles. Also derogatory, personally.

Yelv (just Yelv, really), 22 years old, uses photon sabres and rayguns. Also enthusiastically calls the player avatar "pardner".

And lastly, Jack Vandham, who's not actually playable and 48 years old.

This is the second time I am answering this because my workplace wifi died as I was publishing it. These are my ratings, which don't mean anything, followed by short commentary.

Gwin: Very Fuckable, acts like he wants to be friends with benefits but always catches feelings. Would I reciprocate? Who knows?

Doug: HOT, we love a guy with a deep voice and light sabers and big guns. It does not get better than that. Hung and everyone can tell.

Lao: Not My Type, but I can easily see him causing multiple fans some terrible mental illnesses. "How big is that dick?" "Small, leave me alone"-type of guy.

L'cirufe: Attractive, monster fans need their rights respected. His face card is NOT declining.

Nagi: HOT. Resident old man whose cervix is being done crazy things to on twitter (or should be). Hung and don't ask me how I can tell.

Phoggot: Eh. Good for him on the neurodivergence but you can meet multiple twinks who look like him at any nightclub.

Frye: Intriguing, looks like someone who lead an interesting life and could surprise you in bed. Further research is needed.

Hbirthwhistleguy: Not My Type, but I'm sure he has quite a reach with fans. I support his Bayonetta 2 cosplay endeavors.

Bozé: Eh, this man will leave you and pretend the child isn't his. Have I played this game and do I know what this guy is about? No, but it had to be said.

Yelv: No, thank you. We have Shulk at home. That man is not 22.

Jack: I Love Arm. I could see him being a secret softie in bed. Spoils you to make up for feelings of inadequacy.

For a while I’ve had the idea that, in Swapped Fables, Neo and Fuff would be taking each other’s place (with Fuff showing his meeker side whilst studying stuff and Neo being excited with Wasp Tech and happily using things like the Ultimax Tank) but you know what? While writing Omega’s Assault, I’ve come to realize that Dr. H.B. would actually fit better as a counterpart to Fuff: I can totally see H.B. happily taking the opportunity to make war machines and stuff like that, acting surprisingly good as a general. I bet she’d even put up a decent fight while out of her Ultimax Tank equivalent (A souped up Heavy Drone B-33, perhaps?).

Meanwhile, Fuff would take H.B.’s role in investigating the weird magic guy when he enters (in this case, Hoaxe), but I can imagine it going a little more smoothly than in canon: while Canon H.B. made Canon Leif very uncomfortable during their meeting, I can see Swapped Fuff and Swapped Hoaxe interacting more amicably. If Swapped Team Snakemouth do fight a Wasp Tank, it likely wouldn’t be Ultimax driving it (I’m thinking of just some Wasp being mind-controlled to attack them with it since Swapped Leif does still have the crown and can likely still control Wasps with it. He’d just prefer using Bee Technology because he hates Bugs that much).

Of course, this leaves out Neo, but I just had the idea of swapping him with Aria? I dunno, switching a religious girl and a science boy sounds kinda fun, and I bet it’d even lead to a couple fun changes: perhaps Aria fights back against the Wasps at the start of Chapter 2, while Neo needs a lot more help from Venus in the fight against him? 

(As is often the case, many of these ideas are spitballing and may not end up being really considered for the AU. Whatever info here I do want to keep will likely be added into the descriptions of whatever related drawings I make if I get around to them.)

My blog and changes in Hyper-fixations

Hello, everyone!

I have a good handful of followers on this blog, and majority of you started following me for my Good Omens posts. I greatly appreciate the follows and interractions, and I do intend to continue posting some Good Omens content in the future when things come up that I find worth sharing.

However, I do have ADHD and I am prone to hyper-fixations and drastic shifts in my interests and fixations, so it is good to note that following me STRICTLY for Good Omens content may leave you disappointed!

This specific blog started out with Good Omens content, but I had a previous blog that I lost access to where I would openly share things for any of my current fixations. That is what I intend to do here as well, instead of catering to one specific fandom.

My most common hyper-fixations are Supernatural, Steven Universe on occassion, Jacksepticeye Ego lore (this will hit HARD when he posts some new content, and usually lasts about a month, maybe 2, so be aware of that! ), Good Omens, Helluva Boss, and others.

MY CURRENT FIXATION: Helluva Boss. There will be an influx of H.B. Content moving forward!

I predict my next shift will be around Halloween, assuming Jacksepticeye posts another Ego Lore installment this year. If not, then it may change in the beginning of the year when Hazbin Hotel launches. Just to give everyone an idea of where we might be in a few weeks/months, lol
