oh man. i did it. i found my fucking trade.

#lineworker #i found the school #found all the appreticeship information for the county i live in #im going to start looking at scholarships holy shit #dude it's only two hours away holy shit. it's ten hour days but i could just rent a place down there...#rent's cheap looks like. i'm seeing 2beds for $807 #10 weeks. two and a half months.#spring session april summer session in june #that gives me five months to apply for scholarships & save up at Safeway #this is fucking perfect #once i'm done i can get work with the county and be earning probably $60k a fucking goddamn holy shit #lads. lads. lads. boys. i think i've fucking got it. im going to fucking do it #AUGH ACK HOLY SHIT OKAY #apartments come later. okay time to nail down some goals wish me luck #soliloquy

moving into a new space will really have u debating the comforts of standard boring but familiar setup or wildcarding it for a new and possibly jolting enclosure .... but the enrichment..🤔🤔

#j.txt #um yeas update I Finally have all my furniture moved so now its time to sort through the 9 storage bins of accumulated junk I have amassed !#my new place is Facking Huge btw. like it is a 2bed so theres obv an entire side I still have to find a roomie for but like #my bedroom itself is the biggest personal space ive Ever had ?? I can literally lay on the floor in any direction and have plenty of room-#even with all my desks/bed/dresser etc out I kind of dont know what to do with myself w all this.... SO MUCH wall space also #I can have so much more art nowㅠwㅠ Even the kitchen has decent counter space and plenty of storage and the living room looks so barren bc #I'm used to having like 6ft of space for stuff in a common area lol. it is going to take me daysss to get everything unpacked but-#I'm so pleased w the place so far😌

#doodle #vent art #this is like. half vent half shitpost #i had a Day today #we were on a STREAK of cleaning HORRIBLE rooms all morning. just absolutely trashed. each one took forever to clean #in one of the rooms i had to douse like half of the couch in stain remover bc their baby spit up ALL over it & they just. didnt clean it up #and they were all changeovers that we needed done Today #after we finished the ones in the north building we decided to strip linens & grab garbage from a non-changeover room #(bear in mind the rooms where i work are basically like full 2bed 2bath apartments)#and right when we walked in we were greeted with a crib and a SHITLOAD of ripped-up paper all over the floor #like. it was EVERYWHERE. master bed & bath looked ok but the entire rest of the suite was TRASHED #once i recovered from the initial shock of seeing that this was the first thought that popped into my brain #friendly reminder to be nice to cleaning staff. this stuff can be HARD especially during tourist season #ace screams into the void

"What's the point of buying a house? The world's gonna end in like 5 years." Yeah, but I'd rather die while roasting marshmallows over a firepit I built with my own two hands in my own backyard than in the crampy little apartment I live in now where the kitchen tiles are falling apart, the stove tries to electrocute me, and the most accessible outlet in this place short-circuits when you run the vacuum a bit too long.

i love living in north dakota because i just saw a private landlord in one of our major cities (read: 30,000 people live there) post an apartment for rent with all utilities included and said "sorry the asking price is so high but look at how nice it is!" and it was 1k a month. 1 bed 1 bath sure but like. all utilities. INCLUDING INTERNET. was included. dishwasher. laundry in-unit.
