prismo def thinks he doesnt know abt them but scarab knows hes been writing *something*

i feel like hes decently surprised by prismos understanding of the characters and how they would hypothetically act in these scenarios, but he doesnt dare bring this up to him.

(scarab refuses to admit that carma's a self insert character and desperately tries to distance himself from that so he's convinced himself to not overthink prismos side stories- prismo is 100% aware his chara is just a self insert at most points))

this presence didnt seem to be one to pester them endlessly like the others....huh.....

theyve dealt with the chaotic nature of their workplace, customers trying to....get through in rushed manners for some reason ?? some with absurd items, occasionally the normalcy

finally, some peace for azul themself....?

azul briefly glared at asteroid, curiously, yet still on guard, there had to be some sorts of catch here, was there not ??

but, as the minutes went by, and the stranger kept their soft singing, azul began to relax

they werent sure why this person decided to sit with them, or why they were letting azul keep their space

but, nontheless ?? azul enjoyed the comfortable silence

it was.....a nice change of pace for them

Shows and Media Starring F·cked up Animals:

Happy Tree Friends - ★ - I kind of feel this is edgy, for edgy' sake. The stick gets old fast, and I couldn't watch more than a couple episodes before growing annoyed and bored...

The Big Book of Bunny Suicides - ★★★★ - The bunny's in these comic panels, are trying to die in ridiculously over the top ways, The art work was simple but cute, and it still didn't feel sadistic somehow.

The Unicorn Wars - ★★★★ - The second movie made by the same writer's behind Birdboy: and the Forgotten Children, revolves around themes of religious fanaticism and institutional brainwashing. The story is very Cain and Abel in approach. It displays the way insecurities and even "good'' intentions can eat us up and spit out something ugly in us.

Birdboy: And The Forgotten Children - ★★★ - The feature-length companion to the short film, Birdboy... The setting was dark, the story was darker. Nuclear war, prejudicial biases, mental illness and family drama. Put that together with surreal visuals and cutsie characters... What could go wrong?

Gloomy Bear - ★★½- Not for me, each episode basically just had one gimmick: Gloomy goes crazy, and brutally mauls his owner, Pity.

..But I'm obsessed with the character design for Gloomy, and I definitely want a Gloomy plushy now...

Cat Soup – ★★★½ – Hypnotic psychedelic fatalism, an anthropomorphic cat takes a journey through the spirit world to get the missing half of his sisters soul.. A short film that disrupts the viewers sense of perception and inspires discomfort, It takes you through an Odyssey of twisted realms. And in the end, you're left to wonder, what did it all mean? Did any of it matter? Or did everything play out the way it was always going to?

Ponies, by: Kij Johnson – ★★★½ – In this ultra short story, every girl has a magical pony with wings and a horn. The main character, Barbara and her pony, Sunny, want to fit in with the other girls. They're consequently invited to a "cutting out party" a ritual that every pony goes through in order to truly conform. But it turns out to be a lot more than Sunny signed up for...

This is essentially a f·cked up Horseland/My Little Pony story about the dangers of trying to fit in, even at the cost of personal safety and individuality. A story that had mixed reviews by audiences and critics alike at it's initial release, and honestly, I don't see what the big fuss is... Is it morbid? Yeah. Not super subtle? Yeah. But are there way more offensive shock pieces of media dribble out there...? Absolutely! At least this one had a message.

while i was out yesterday i saw a sonic calendar that gave sage her own page which is already a big surprise in itself but i also dont think ive ever seen this particular art of her before. i mean its pretty obviously heavily referenced from an existing render of her but ive never seen this version of it where its in the 2d style unless im forgetting something. idk thought that was mildly interesting

lmao someone said that dan da dan doesn't have enough material for bl ships because yujinobu tatsu actually knows how to write female characters since he was told to read a lot of shoujo to understand how to do it. and that ohba should follow the same example instead of inserting incel messages in his mangas because he got upset people shipped his male characters together

and honestly? yeah. also i think the editor helps A LOT, since ddd's editor is the same editor of fujimoto's chainsaw man and tatsuda's spyxfamily.

despite what men with zero comprehensive skills say, I do believe fujimoto's female characters are well written and key parts of the plot considering more than half of the cast in csm is female and the most powerful characters too. ohba could NEVER write an Asa Mitaka. NEVER. She's the embodiment of a female teenager who's very implied to be neurodivergent. Asa Mitaka is by far one of the best female characters written by a man in shounen. If Denji is relatable for men, Asa is for women. And I don't fucking understand how fujimoto DID THAT. he understands women more than I do.

I think the case of Fujimoto's female characters and his incredible understanding of girlhood is because he consumes a lot of media with different portrays of women. Fujimoto's great love for movies may be the thing that helps him a lot. Also the fact that ROLEPLAYING AS HIS NONEXISTENT LIL SISTER IN TWITTER may help too. and that he wants women to step on him. I will never stop talking about Fujimoto because part of me HATES him and part of me deeply admires him. I just want to open his brain and see how it works because I want mine to be like that tOo

Also. God I fucking hate ohba. Hope his pillow is always warm and his coffee always tastes like burnt playdough
