season 3 of the bear feels so repetitive. it's just the same scenes three times in the same episode, and the same scenes repeating itself in other episodes as well. nothing really happens.
#I'm so disappointed#I get creating an atmosphere of stress and repetitiveness etc#but... it's dull to watch I'm actually skipping parts because I'm like yeah we've seen this#personal#I'm on episode 9 and so far it's only been... birth.. job offer.. the rest has just been yelling the same things over and over#the bear spoilers#looking at the imdb ratings for season 3 i may be... alone in my opinion here

WHAT A (APRIL) FOOL BELIEVES IS LIKE THE HAUNTENING IF IT WAS DONE WELL AND ACTUALLY FUNNY 👏👏 okay i dont hate the hauntening it's like a solid 5/10 episode but i hate that it's rated so highly when episodes like ready player gene are at the bottom of the list for NO reason. she doesn't deserve it 😡 it being the number two highest rated episode of all time (before the plight before christmas released i would assume The highest rated) is so fucked up. there are like 20 episodes that deserve that spot more & i will forever be mad about this

Ok so i saw a post mentioning how Spindlehorse was hiring animators again, and i thought "huh yknow im really curious what the turnover rate of animators is in this studio" because i mean its a genuine question considering how i swear theyre hiring new animators every other week
So then i checked IMDB...
Before i go on i wanna put some context because its kinda needed for what im about to say:
On IMDB there's a section of the cast and crew page labeled "Series Animation Department". This is the section meant primarily for animators and storyboarders among other jobs in the same vein.
Now. Can you guess how many animators/storyboarders Helluva Boss has gone through in less than 2 seasons?

That is four hundred and forty-four individual credits, a majority of whom didn't stay for any longer than a few episodes. I have never in my life seen an animator turnover rate this skewed.
But i saw this and i went "well it cant be that bad right, what about other shows?" because admittedly i didnt know a lot about animation so for all i knew this was normal. So i went to the IMDB pages of other animated shows
RWBY: 164 credited animators over 9 seasons
Murder Drones: 11 Animators over 7 episodes
The Owl House: 88 Animators over 3 seasons
Amphibia: 73 over 3 seasons
Steven Universe: 44 over 5 seasons
And just to be fair let's include Hazbin Hotel, which had 62 in 1 season
This means that for one reason or another Helluva Boss has gone through more animators in less than 2 seasons than shows that ran for SIGNIFICANTLY longer go through in their entire lifespan by several times and that astounds me

french twist is so so bad worst episode of the show by far
#season 7 as a whole is. well let's just say you can tell asp wasn't around anymore#i listen to a gilmore girls podcast and they had a writer on (sheila lawrence she wrote there's the rub amongst others) and she said she#(asp) would like supervise scripts way more than some other showrunners and change things to like. have better dialogue so it's all#really her voice and you can REALLY tell that it's not her voice in season 7#they did the best they could but the dialogue is off and so are the vibes and season 6 is more depressing because of the whole postponed#wedding stuff and i hate the luke has a secret daughter storyline because it's ridiculous. but the way it's written is still like. good#and there's funny stuff in season 7 like i laugh at some of it but! yeah#one thing about season 7 that makes it not feel like it's gilmore girls is that they use so many nicknames oh my god. and lorelai says dad#when rory does her 'you don't sleep with dad' rant in that's what you get folks for makin whoopee and it's so weird like she would say#christopher not dad? because she always calls him christopher in the rest of the show and she says it like three times in a row so it's#just weird#it has the worst rating on imdb so it's not just me! french twist being the worst episode i mean#the rory half is fine and so is lane's storyline but lorelai and christopher in paris...oh god it's so bad#my anti-top 3 is we got us a pippi virgin a vineyard valentine and french twist. but we got us a pippi virgin has grown on me and it's#really only the last 15 minutes#and again YOU CAN'T GET MARRIED ON A WHIM IN FRANCE ESPECIALLY NOT AS A FOREIGNER#gilmore girling

Literally every time goose was on screen I just Stared because I had no reason why his face looks so deeply familiar to me.
Turns out he was also dr. Green on ER, which I probably watched every episode of as a small child at 3am when my mom got home from her late night shift
