FOR THOSE STUDYING SEFER YETZIRAH
“With 32 wonderous ways of wisdom, YAH, the Lord of Hosts, the G-d of Israel, the Living G-D (El SHADAI), Omnipotent G-D, extolled, Dweller up above whose habitation is eternity.”
-Sefer Yetzirah Opening Line
Sefer= Text
Sephar= Number
Sippur= Communication
I highly recommend learning to read Hebrew. While there is value in theoretical knowledge of a text like Sefer Yetzirah it is of far greater value to actually meditate on the text. Unfortunately, it’s almost next to impossible to meditate on the text without a rudimentary understanding of the original language.
Repeating the Names attributed to Adonai in the opening lines in prayer- almost like a mantra- before engraving YHVH on your heart is a beautiful process. As it says:
“His Name high and holy engraved His name, covenanted, drilled, and created his universe in 32 mysterious paths of wisdom through 3 Sepharim; (book, counting, telling)”
The Tetragrammaton literally holds the key to existence and entire books have been written on how it can be used as a mantra to deepen our understanding of our place in the Divine. Some of you may even have seen Hashem stacked vertically into the shape of a human being. (Macrocosm and Microcosm right) This lesson is shrouded in the next lines of the text:
“Ten Sephiroth (numbers) made of Nothingness
“Twenty-two foundation Letters.
“Of these 22 letters, 3 are called "Mothers," 7 called "Doubles" and 12 are called "Simple" letters.
“Ten Sephiroth as the number of ten fingers five paralleling 5 the Covenant set in the middle the way of the tongue makes the word the Naked Word.”
There is vowel intonation of the Divine Name that will literally vibrate within your being the more you do it. It’s a really simple mantra too:
Tumblr media
Honestly, I started here. Before I even began digging through the sephirot and reading about Kabbalah. (in fairness, aRabbi shared a copy of Aryeh Kaplan’s Meditation and the Bible with me as a precursor to joining his study group but still) Start with deep study of the Torah. Read the Books of the Law. Read the Prophets. Set time aside for vowel intonations before you read. It will change your entire perspective on the Bible.
To Christian’s specifically: Yeshua almost always quoted the Prophets. Remember, He didn’t set out to start a new religion. He was a Rabbi with a very specific form of Helakhah. If you spend just a little bit of time amongst- I recommend members of the Reform Movement- people who practice Judaism you’re entire perspective will shift. What Yeshua taught becomes incredibly clear once it’s viewed from a Second Temple Period perspective.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Me: so, in the game Lobotomy Corporation, eleven of the thirteen characters are named after the ineffable Kabbalistic Sefirot, and a lot of other things within the game, from its lore to its mechanics, draw on similar elements.
Aleister Crowley: you went to the MOON?
Me: so, do you think that representing "Netzach" as a defeated alcoholic serves to underscore the idea that the characters are, in fact, headed away from their objective, since "victory" itself has become dejected, and they're all introduced from Malkuth and then down the Tree instead of up?
Aleister Crowley: the MOON in the fucking SKY???

ASMODEUS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHO IS HE?
Also known as Ashmodai, Asmodeus, Asmody, Asmoday; appears as a Great King 'Asmoday' in the Ars Goetia, where he is said to have a seal in gold and is listed as number thirty-two according to respective rank. He "is strong, powerful and appears with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram or a goat; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire." Also, he sits upon an infernal dragon, holds a lance with a banner, and amongst the Legions of Amaymon, Asmoday governs seventy two legions of Spirits.
Asmodeus is one of the “seven princes of hell,” a demon whose wickedness is matched only by his talent. He specializes in spreading lust, and he doesn’t just prey on common people. Kings, queens, and even divine beings have been affected by his touch!
BASIC INFO:
Appearance: a strong and attractive young man with shoulder-length black hair, fiery orange-yellow eyes (like burning embers), black draconic wings, and ram horns. When angered, his hair catches in flames and burns to become short, blazing like embers. His horns become more prominent, and his eyes become even more fiery. He goes into battle with a staff or sword commonly, but sometimes with a mace. The dragon he is sometimes seen riding is a trusted friend of his from ages past. He can also appear as a bull or ram, which are aspects of his. His traditional art which shows him as having three heads is simply a symbolization of this.
Personality: Asmodeus is tremendously strong at heart and holds a great deal of wisdom and passion. Overall, he has a very resilient and noble attitude, and is also connected to lust and domination, as he indulges in sexual pleasures. Asmodeus enjoys luxury and sensuality, but can also be very dark and serious when needed, and can become quickly impatient with those who earn his disfavour. He can also feel war-like at times, but in a way that is similar to heroism. But his darker side, however, is called Asmodai, who is one of the most destructive and terrifying of all the demons.
Asmodeus is a master of emotions and knows how to rapidly gain favour by playing to the emotions of crowds, masses, or even single persons. He doesn’t have to lie, he simply uses emotional reasoning to appeal to peoples’ hearts in order to be convincing. He tends to be very kind-hearted, loyal, passionate, and steadfast.
Symbols: upside down red pentagram, cards, snake, crown, scorpion, seal of Asmodeus, money, the element air, and gambling
King/God of: demons, lust, passion, sex, valour, inner-strength, knowledge, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of power.
Culture: Demonic and Jewish
Plants and trees: rose, mint, sunflower, blackthorn tree, mandrake root, belladonna, nightshade, yew tree, lavender, poppy, cypress tree, jasmine, and snakewood tree
Crystals: leopards skin jasper, carnelian, peridot, ruby, cinnabar, black tourmaline, red jasper, and garnet
Animals: bull, snake, scorpion, ram, cats, and rooster

And always remember to thank him for his gifts and offerings.
Here are some additional tips for working with Asmodeus:
• Build a relationship: Like any deity, building a relationship with Asmodeus takes time and effort. Try making regular offerings or dedicating a space in your home to him. You can also try researching more about his history and lore to deepen your connection with him.
• Focus on inner strength: Asmodeus is known for his rulerships of inner strength, which can come in handy when facing obstacles or challenges in life. Try working with him to cultivate this quality within yourself, and remember to thank him for his guidance.

Place this vision board on your altar or carry it with you as a reminder of the gifts you’re seeking from Asmodeus.
PRAYER FOR ASMODEUS:
"Oh mighty King Asmodeus, ruler of the underworld and master of the infernal realms, I call upon you in this moment. I beseech thee to draw near and manifest your presence before me.

IS IT SAFE TO EAT OR DRINK AN OFFERING I GIVE TO HIM?
There is no clear consensus on whether it is safe to eat or drink an offering given to Asmodeus, as beliefs and practices vary greatly within different occult and magical traditions. Some practitioners may feel that consuming an offering is a way to establish a deeper connection with the deity, while others may prefer to dispose of the offering in a respectful manner after the initial ritual.
It is important to use your own judgment and discretion when deciding whether or not to consume an offering given to a deity. It is also advisable to research and follow established protocols and procedures for working with demons, deities, and entities.

The average adult has 32 teeth. 28 if they’ve had their wisdom teeth taken out. Seonghwa shoves a pair of pliers into the mouth of the man he has tied up in the trunk of a car, clamping the metal jaws around the first molar on the right side. The man’s screams are agonizing, his wrists and ankles fighting against the frayed rope as the root tears out of place. Seonghwa holds it in the red glow of the taillights, ignoring the blood soaked cries of his present company.
“You really should brush your teeth more'' he frowns, noting the plaque buildup on the bloody tooth before tossing it aside. “Don’t worry though. Once I’m done you won’t have any left to brush.” Seonghwa grabs him by the neck, shoving the pliers into his mouth as a mixture of spit and blood drips down the man’s chin. Gripping the next tooth in line, he rips it out much easier than the last and the screaming continues. 2 down, 30 to go.
If they were somewhere in the city Seonghwa might've done something to quiet him down. Duct tape his mouth shut. Shove a sock in there. But this is the desert, the absolute middle of nowhere, during a time when even the sun has abandoned them. There are no people for miles in either direction and any encounter with the other living creatures that stalk the desert night is sure to end in this man's death. Make no mistake. He will die either way but first, there’s business to attend to.
“You have the misfortune of having a lot of teeth,” Seonghwa grins, waving the pliers around with tooth number 4 wedged between metal, “Fortunately, I don’t have a lot of time so why don’t you tell me what I wanna know and we can go our separate ways.” “You…you’re gonna let me go?” the man blubbers, tears streaming down his cheeks. “Of course, I will.” A lie. “Don’t fuck with me, man!” “I’m not fucking with you.” Another lie. Seonghwa takes a seat on the edge of the open trunk, patting the man on the shoulder like they’re two old friends grabbing a beer. “I’ll let you go. I always keep my word.” The final lie. The biggest lie of them all.
But it works. In seconds the man confesses to Seonghwa, a sinner in search of forgiveness. He answers every question without pause. Spills the details of who hired him for the job that led to their paths crossing. Hell, he even starts in on his troubled childhood, going on about his mommy issues until Seonghwa can’t stomach his voice anymore. “Alright, well, thanks for that,” Seonghwa sings, hopping up and tossing the pliers into the trunk before walking out of view. “Hey! Where are you going?” the man shouts, wiggling towards the edge of the trunk.
Idling a safe distance away is Seonghwa’s car, soft white headlights illuminating the horizon as classical music flows from the radio almost too lightly to be heard. He pops the trunk, retrieving a 5 gallon gas canister. “Calm down, I’m coming back,” Seonghwa huffs, dragging himself back to the other car. The man’s eyes widen when he sees the canister, what little color is left in his pale skin drains to nothing. “No! You can’t do that! You gave me your word! You’re fucking crazy.”
Seonghwa digs a lighter out of his back pocket, flicking the top off of the canister with his thumb, “I know.”
Tumblr media
You awaken from your slumber like a sweet baby angel to the gentle sound of orchestral music. The surface beneath you is the softest you’ve slept on in days and the blanket wrapped around you must be made of some luxurious fur because regular cotton could never feel this lush. You sit up, yawning, eyelashes fluttering, and wait for your vision to adjust. As the sleep wears off you suddenly notice how dry your throat is. Then there’s the pain. You bring your hand up to the side of your neck, touching the tender spot where you were injected with something, and it all comes back to you.
Woo. Seonghwa. They did this. Where are you? The driver’s side door swings open just as the pieces shift back into place. Nearby screams muffled by the crackling of a raging fire draw you in like a moth to a flame. There’s thumping inside the trunk of the other car. You’re too concerned about if you’re next to care who’s in there. “You’re up!” Seonghwa cheers, hopping into the car and turning to check the backseat where you’ve been passed out for hours. “How’s it going, baby?” “‘Baby’, my ass!” you shout, punching him in the face. You hate to hit something so pretty but he deserved it.
“You fucking drugged me!” Seonghwa holds his nose, tapping his foot to distract from the pain, “I did it for your own good.” “For my own good? You set me up. Where’s Woo? Son of a bitch.” Blinded by your anger, you storm out of the car, charging barefoot through the desert with the blanket still around you. Seonghwa chases after you, his head tilted back to avoid a nosebleed, “You can’t just walk around out here. You’re gonna get hurt!” “I’ll get hurt?” you scoff, turning back to launch another hit in his direction.
Seonghwa grabs you by the wrist, bringing an arm around your waist to hold you to him, “Look at me and tell me you think I’d ever bring harm to you.” The aching in your neck tells you not to trust him again but your heart won’t let you forget your shared history. All of the times he’s put his life on the line to protect you before. Whatever he’s done, there must be a reason. It better be a good one. Seonghwa lets out a sigh of relief as he senses your body has begun to relax. The fire behind him has doubled in size, making it impossible to ignore.
“Who’s in the trunk?” you ask, kissing the bridge of his nose right where your punch landed. It takes everything in him not to blush. “Someone that did want to hurt you but don’t worry. I hurt him first.” “What did he want with me?” “You’re joking, right?” he laughs, “There’s a trail of corpses behind you in the name of a mission no one knows anything about. They’re coming for you. You have to stop.” This was bound to happen. An occupational hazard. When you run around fucking shit up you draw attention to yourself and it’s never the good kind.
This is the life you signed up for though. Turning back isn’t an option. “You know I can’t do that.” “Yes you can,” he says, the pain in his voice undeniable, “I’ll keep them off of you as long as I can but once they get to me—” You kiss him, letting the blanket fall to your feet as you cup his face. “Don’t talk like that, Hwa. I won’t let them touch you. I promise.” The kiss heats up rapidly. The knowledge that you still care for each other deeply drives you into a breathless frenzy.
You tear at each other’s clothes. His hands traverse your curves, massaging your ass and thighs. Your stomach. Your breasts. Your everything. Before you know it you’re laid out over the pile of clothes, his tongue rolling across your nipple as he parts your thighs to stroke your pussy. Your throat might be dry but your pussy’s delectably wet. Seonghwa dips a finger into you, humming against a mouthful of your breast as he taps his thumb at your clit. The finger inside of you curls in just the right way to make your hips stutter.
“Mmm, is my girl ready for another one?” You shake your head, nails raking up and down his back, “Two. I want two more.” “Anything for you” he smiles, feeding his fingers into you one by one. He moves his wrist in slow circles, giving you that satisfying fullness in your belly, all the while stretching you in preparation for the cock he can tell you want so badly. You reach down to stroke his length and it jumps for you like an overexcited puppy happy to see its owner. You are its owner. No amount of time apart will change that. You’re the only woman who's ever been able to get him hard as steel and you know it.
“No more fingers. I want you to fill me up” you whisper, tugging at his hair. Seonghwa picks up the pace, fingering you faster just to hear you scream his name. Your hips raise off of the ground, walls locked around his fingers. He wiggles them free, using the hand dripping with your arousal to stroke himself as he aligns with your entrance. He comes up to kiss you, pushing into you until he bottoms out, turning you into a giggling mess.
Watching you has him falling in love all over again. “Fuck, I love it when you’re like this,” he says, lifting one of your legs up and pounding into you. Each thrust is so perfectly angled to please you that you can't even steady your hands enough to touch him. In fact, nothing about you is steady. Your entire body reacts to his, obeying commands without a word spoken. “Ooh, your little pussy’s pulsing. Ready to cum for me already?” he teases, bouncing you on his cock. “Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes…” your voice trails off, nails digging deeper into his shoulders as you crack under pressure.
Seonghwa pins you down harder, slowing down to feel every moment of your release. He may have his sadistic side but his heart never softens more than when he sees you happy. And knowing that he’s the reason why? It gets him every time. He cuddles you as you come down, only peeling his body away from yours when the sudden combustion of a gas tank startles the two of you. “Aww, isn’t that romantic?” he beams. “Romantic?” “Like fireworks.” You roll your eyes, scooching over to lay your head on his chest, “Sure. Let’s go with that.”
Despite the circumstances, laying here with him is the most peaceful night you’ve had since this all began. It feels almost normal enough to pretend you don't have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Seonghwa disrupts the delusion. Someone has to do it. “Nothing I say will make you back out of this mission, will it?” You sigh, drawing hearts in the sweat that slicks his chest, “No. I have to do this, with or without you and Woo, but I’d prefer with.” Seonghwa hugs you, kissing you on the forehead, “Then ‘with’ it is.”

You may resonate with one of the main characters, Huey Freeman. There are other main characters, of course, but Huey is indeed the most developed and evolved character. He is smart and free-minded. He always prioritized harsh truths, but no one really took him seriously.
I’ve come to understand that people like Huey are a walking a blessings and test. If you listen to him, that’s amazing, but if you don’t… you just failed a test of the cosmos.
Remember, just because someone degrades your wisdom or doesn’t listen, doesn’t mean you do not hold value.
Those people taking part in the degradation of genuine knowledge are NOT high vibrational enough to perceive a prophet or prophetess; this is them failing their test of experiencing “YOU.”

You have to understand that you do not know what love really is. Your ideas of love are misconstrued and unbalanced. Pray about this and manifest clarity, wisdom, and knowledge about this subject.
Love isn’t all like the movies. Everyone’s love is not all the same. Love is not a monolith and it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, although we should never settle for “low vibrational lessers.” Your ideas and perceptions of sunshine and rainbows are even all wrong.
Take a deep breath, really adjust your focus, and be open to your ideology of love changing. You think you’re a free-spirited and flowy person, but you’re actually very rigid, narrow-minded, and stiff. You have so many potential paths of greatness you’re ignoring because all you care about is this odd brainwashed version of “love.”

You’re meant to travel, but please understand you must validate the truth that not every place is meant for everyone. Not every energy of a certain location is meant to be experienced by you. Maybe you’re meant to get into Astrocartography. My astrology services are private currently and quite expensive because it covers a full year of assistance, phone calls, readings, magick, etc. If youre interested in that, let me know.
Do not just jump on the hype of “I haveee to move to this place,” just because someone else said it was “fun” or “lit.” Maybe it was very enjoyable for them, but it could actually be a place where YOU experience bad luck and even danger.
Plan for travel properly and try not to get influenced by “low vibrational hype” or hype that simply has nothing to do with you and where you’re meant to go and be.

Etz Hayim “Tree of Life” Talon Abraxas
Kabbalah: The Mystical Side of Judaism
Archetypal, Intellectual–Creative, Substantial–Formative, and Physical Material, are the names on the “Secret Doctrine” p. 200 diagram for the four lower planes of the cosmos. These names do not originate with HPB or her Adept-Teachers; they are the names used in Kabbalah for the four planes, which are also called Atziloth, Briah, Yetzirah, and Asiah, respectively.
The Kabbalistic view of the inner constitution of the human being relates to these four “worlds” or planes, showing that “as above, so below.”
Standing transcendent and above the four, however, they place Yechidah. HPB explains that this is equivalent to Atma or Atman in the Theosophical teachings of the seven principles or components of man; pure universal Spirit, the Higher Self. (“The Theosophical Glossary” p. 137)
Next in order of descent and on the same level as the Archetypal or Emanation World of Atziloth is Chaya. Despite the apparent similarity, this word is not linked with the term “Chhaya” as used in Theosophy in relation to the First Root Race; they are completely different things. The Kabbalistic Chaya is equivalent to the Theosophical Buddhi, the “Spiritual Soul” which radiates Atmic Light. (“Glossary” p. 137)
Then there is Neshamah on the Intellectual or Creative level of Briah. This equates to Higher Manas, the higher immortal Mind-Entity or Higher Ego, the reincarnating Individuality or “Human Soul” (“Glossary” p. 137) . . . but not always exclusively, for “there are the “upper” and the “lower” Neshamah (the dual Manas),” says HPB. (“Glossary” p. 348-349)
Ruach stands on the Substantial or Formative plane, i.e. Yetzirah. “Ruach” literally means “breath” or “spirit” and HPB says the term belongs properly to Buddhi-Manas. (“Glossary” p. 280) It is not used by Kabbalists in that way, however, but is described by them in a way that matches the Lower Manas, i.e. the lower mind, the personal ego-consciousness, linked with Kama, the “Animal Soul” of desires, passions, emotions.
The lowest level of consciousness is called Nefesh and belongs to Asiah, the physical or material world of action. This is equivalent to Prana, vitality or life-energy, and also Kama (“The Secret Doctrine” Vol. 1, p. 243) and by definition relates closely to Sthula Sharira, the physical body.
Mention is also made of Tzelem, sometimes called the Tzelem Elokim. This is the Kabbalistic name for what we call the Linga Sharira, the astral body or astral double. (“Glossary” p. 348)
So there we have all the Seven Principles that Theosophy teaches compose the human being when in physical incarnation: (7) Atma, (6) Buddhi, (5) Manas (which includes the immortal Higher Manas and the mortal Lower Manas), (4) Kama, (3) Prana, (2) Linga Sharira, (1) Sthula Sharira.

According to the Jewish tradition, the 32 Paths of Wisdom concept is derived from the 32 times that the name “Elohim” is mentioned in Genesis, Chapter One.

Kether – “In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.” 1:1* Chokmah – “Let there be light” 1:3 Binah – “Let there be a firmament . . . let it divide . . .” 1:6 Gedulah – “Let the waters be gathered . . . let dry land appear . . .” 1:9 Geburah – “Let the earth put forth grass . . . etc.” 1:11 Tiphareth – “Let there be lights in the firmament . . .” 1:14 Netzach – “Let the waters swarm . . . let fowl fly . . .” 1:20 Hod – “Let the earth bring forth living creatures . . .” 1:24 Yesod – “Let us make man . . .” 1:26 Malkuth – “Be fruitful and multiply . . .” 1:28 Mothers: “Elohim made:“ Aleph – “the Firmament and divided the waters . . .” 1:7 Mem – “the two great lights . . . and the stars.” 1:16 Shin – “the beast of the earth after its kind . . .” 1:25 Doubles: “Elohim saw:“ Beth – “the light, that it was good.” 1:4 Gimel – “that it was good.” (the separation of dry land and waters) 1:10 Daleth – “that it was good” (the earth bringing forth grass, etc.) 1:12 Kaph – that it was good” (the two lights in the firmament) 1:18 Peh – “that it was good” (swarming of waters with creatures; of air with fowl) 1:21 Resh – “that it was good” (the beasts of the earth) 1:25 Tav – “every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.” 1:31
Elementals: “Elohim –“
Heh – “hovered over the face of the waters.” 1:2 Vav – “divided the light from the darkness.” 1:4 Zayin – “called the light Day, and darkness Night.” 1:5 Cheth – “called the firmament Heaven.” 1:8 Teth – “called the dry land, Earth . . . and the waters, Seas.” 1:10 Yod – “set them [the two lights] in the firmament of the heaven” 1:17 Lamed – “created the sea-monsters, creatures that creep, and fowl.” 1:21 Nun – “blessed them [sea-monsters, creepers, and fowl] . . .” 1:22 Samekh – “created man in His own image.” 1:27 Ayin – “created He him; male and female created He them.” 1:27 Tzaddi – “blessed them [male and female].” 1:28 Qooph – “said: I have given you all . . .” 1:29*
*There are two exceptions to this: The first is Gen1:1, and Sephirah 1/Kether, wherein “Elohim said” is assumed. The second is Gen1:29, and Elemental 12/Qooph, wherein the focus is shifted from the “Elohim said”, to the “I have given you all . . .”

A Gentle Answer Turns Away Wrath
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, But the mouth of fools gush out folly. 3 The LORD's eyes are everywhere, Keeping watch on the evil and the good. 4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life, But deceit in it crushes the spirit. 5 A fool despises his father's correction, But he who heeds reproof shows prudence. 6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure, But the income of the wicked brings trouble. 7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge; Not so with the heart of fools. 8 The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is his delight. 9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But he loves him who follows after righteousness. 10 There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way: Whoever hates reproof shall die. 11 She'ol and Avaddon are before the LORD -- How much more then the hearts of the children of men!
12 A scoffer doesn't love to be reproved; He will not go to the wise. 13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face; But an aching heart breaks the spirit. 14 The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, But the mouths of fools feed on folly. 15 All the days of the afflicted are wretched, But one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast. 16 Better is little, with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble. 17 Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, Than a fattened calf with hatred. 18 A wrathful man stirs up contention, But one who is slow to anger appeases strife. 19 The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch, But the path of the upright is a highway. 20 A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother. 21 Folly is joy to one who is void of wisdom, But a man of understanding keeps his way straight. 22 Where there is no counsel, plans fail; But in a multitude of counselors they are established. 23 Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time! 24 The path of life leads upward for the wise, To keep him from going downward to She'ol.
25 The LORD will uproot the house of the proud, But he will keep the widow's borders intact. 26 The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, But the thoughts of the pure are pleasing. 27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live. 28 The heart of the righteous weighs answers, But the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil. 29 The LORD is far from the wicked, But he hears the prayer of the righteous. 30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart. Good news gives health to the bones. 31 The ear that listens to the reproof lives, And will be at home among the wise. 32 He who refuses correction despises his own soul, But he who listens to reproof gets understanding. 33 The fear of the LORD teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility. — Proverbs 15 | Hebrew Names Version (HNV) The Hebrew Names Version Bible is in the public domain Cross References: Genesis 13:8; Leviticus 7:18; Deuteronomy 19:14; Deuteronomy 32:22; Judges 8:1; 1 Kings 1:12; Nehemiah 2:2; Psalm 59:7; Proverbs 1:2; Proverbs 1:7; Proverbs 1:25; Proverbs 8:21; Proverbs 9:7; Proverbs 10:1; Proverbs 12:14; Proverbs 13:18; Proverbs 16:24; Proverbs 17:1; Proverbs 18:15; Proverbs 22:5; Proverbs 25:25; Ecclesiastes 4:6; Ecclesiastes 7:5; John 9:31; Acts 1:24; Ephesians 5:15; 1 Timothy 6:9; 1 Timothy 6:11; Hebrews 4:13; 1 Peter 3:15; Revelation 2:7

Welcome to the new reign of Baron Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonnen and Baroness Eurydice of House Atreides on Giedi Prime.
“May the blood of our ancestors flow through you, may the legacy of House Harkonnen guide your path, and may the power of the black sun lend you strength and wisdom. Rise, Feyd-Rautha of House Harkonnen, Baron of Giedi Prime… rise Eurydice of House Atreides, Baroness of Giedi Prime… RISE!”
He reaches to take her hand, then raises it high above his head. It occurs to Eurydice that she is not alone. She has been strategizing everything, mapping every solitary piece of this game ahead of her for seemingly a lifetime. She has played her role, done her part, and has done so alone. But now, she has Feyd-Rautha beside her. He has her. This… this is the dawn of a new age. This is the new future, the beginning, Eurydice thinks. — Eurydice Atreides, Chapter 32, “Echoes in Our Blood” by @vulpine-spectacle on AO3.

WHY WISDOM COMES FROM THE HEART
Possibly one of the most difficult concepts to understand is how wisdom is associated with our heart space. We tend to differentiate between body and mind oftentimes overlooking how the two are intertwined. Fortunately, texts like the Sefer Yetzirah are becoming a little more widespread these days. This ancient source of wisdom gives us a wonderful description of how our hearts play a vital role in divine connection. Click the link for more.

LENORMAND CARDS interpretation and meaning
Lenormand cards are a fascinating and less well-known instrument in the field of divination, where intuition and symbolism collide. These cards, which bear the name Marie Anne Lenormand after the famous French astrologer, have subtly moved through time, providing wisdom and direction to those who seek it.Unlike the Tarot, which consists of 78 cards, a traditional Lenormand deck consists of 36 cards. These cards are simple yet rich in symbolism, each carrying its unique meaning. The imagery on Lenormand cards often features everyday objects, people, or situations, making them easily accessible to readers of all levels.
📖🕯☾☪☽✨
When doing a Lenormand card reading, a certain number of cards are spread out in a predetermined arrangement, or "spread." These spreads act as a kind of canvas for the plot to develop. In a reading, each card offers its particular significance and combines with others. The meanings of the cards in a Lenormand reading are typically clear-cut; they stand in for things like love, wealth, travel, and more. The secret is to become familiar with the unique meanings of each card before figuring out how to combine them to create complex stories.

The Secret Path of Initiation
The Minor Mysteries
Audio lecture from Chicago Gnosis
--------------
Chapter:
Probationism
1. Probationism is the science that studies the mental essences that imprison the mind.
2. Probationism is that internal wisdom that allows us to study the prisons of understanding.
3. Probationism is the pure science that allows us to know in depth the errors of individual minds.
4. The Buddha who is lifting his fifth fiery serpent upon the rod must thoroughly study probationism in order to wisely drive the train of human evolution upon the spiral track of life.
5. Probationism is the science of esoteric ordeals.
6. Every Buddha must study probationism.
7. Self-Buddhic-evidence and self-Buddhic-reflection allow us to take into our intuition concepts whose contents are transformed into divine intuits.
8. Thus, this is how you are being prepared, sibling of mine, to become a hierophant of Major Mysteries.
9. The human mind must be liberated from all types of schools, religions sects, political parties, concepts about country and flag, etc.
10. The human mind must be liberated from fear and appetites.
11. The human mind must be liberated from eagerness towards accumulation, liberated from attachments, hatreds, egotism, violence, etc.
12. The human mind must be liberated from the processes of reasoning that divide the mind in the battle of antitheses.
13. A mind tht is divided by the depressing process of "options" cannot serve as an instrument for the Innermost.
14. We must exchange the process of reasoning for the beauty of comprehension.
15. The process of conceptual election divides the mind, thus this is how the mind gives birth to erred action and useless effort.
16. Desires and appetites are obstacles for the mind.
17. Those obstacles lead human beings to exert all kinds of errors, which result in Karma.
18. Fear exerts over the mind the desire for security.
19. The desire for security enslaves willpower, converting it into a prisoner of self-defensive barriers within which all human miseries are hidden.
20. Fear brings all types of inferiority complexes.
21. Fear of death causes human beings to arm themselves and assassinate one another.
22. The human being who carries a revolver at his waist is a coward; he is a dastard.
23. The brave one does not carry weapons, because he does not fear anyone.
24. Fear of life, fear of death, fear of hunger, fear of misery, fear of cold and nakedness, engender all types of inferiority complexes.
25. Fear leads human beings toward violence, hatred, exploitation, etc.
26. Probationism is the science that allows the hierophants of Major Mysteries to know the degree of evolution reached by each disciple.
27. Any Buddha must deeply study probationism in order to know the prisons of understanding.
28. Human minds live from one prison to another. Each prison is a school, a religion, an erred concept, a prejudice, a desire, an opinion, etc.
29. The human mind must learn how to serenely flow in an integral manner, without the painful process of reasoning that divides the mind with its battle of antitheses.
30. The mind must become like a child in order for it to be able to serve as an instrument for the Innermost.
31. We must always live in the present, because life is just an eternal instant.
32. We must liberate ourselves from all types of preconceptions and desires.
33. We must move only under the impulses of the Innermost.
34. We must be content with the rights of "Canchorrita."
35. The rights of "Canchorrita" are bread, clothing, and shelter.
36. A highly evolved humanity lives on the planet Venus.
37. The inhabitants of Venus, the Dawn Star, are true artists.
38. Each Venusian family builds their beautiful mansion, orchard, and garden.
39. This is the cosmic order. When the inhabitants of the Earth submit themselves to this cosmic order, the economic problems of the world will disappear forever.
40. The human being has the right to live differently, with dignity and beauty, because he is not a swine. However, he must be satisfied with the rights of Canchorrita.
41. Covetousness, anger, and lust have their den in the mind.
42. Covetousness, anger, and lust lead souls towards the Avitchi.
43. The human being is not the mind.
44. The mind is merely one of the four bodies of sin.
45. When the human being becomes identified with his mind, he falls into the abyss.
46. The mind is merely a donkey upon which we must ride in order to enter the Heavenly Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.
47. There is the need to drive the mind by means of willpower.
48. When the mind besieges us with useless representations, we must command the mind like this:
49. "Mind, take this representation away from me. I do not accept it from you. You are my slave, and I am your lord."
50. When the mind besieges us with reactions of hatred, fear, wrath, appetites, greed, lust, etc., we must talk to the mind like this:
51. "Mind, take these things away from me. I do not accept these things from you. I am your lord, and you must obey me, because you are my slave until the end of time."
52. Now, we need human beings with Thelema, human beings with willpower, who do not allow themselves to be enslaved by their minds.
53. The Buddha whose will is being christified must study probationism deeply in order to wisely know all the essences of the mind, all the prisons of understanding.
54. Thus, this is how the hierophant of Major Mysteries can wisely drive the train of human evolution.

The Queen's Departure
[ Phantom Menace timeline - 32 BBY ]
Tumblr media
As I sit upon my throne, surrounded by my loyal handmaidens, advisors, and diplomats, I cannot shake the knot of anxiety that tightens in my stomach. This royal starship, with its sleek design and polished surfaces, is a world away from the familiar comforts of my home planet. Today marks the first time I have ventured beyond its protective borders, and the weight of responsibility hangs heavy upon my shoulders.
I watch as my attendants move about the chamber, their voices blending into a murmur of discussion. They speak of alliances and negotiations, of the challenges that await us on Coruscant. But beneath their confident words, I sense the same apprehension that tugs at my own heart.
I eye each person in turn, searching for reassurance in their faces. My handmaidens, with their gentle smiles and steady hands, offer silent encouragement. My advisors, with furrowed brows and whispered conversations, strive to impart their wisdom upon me. And my diplomats, with their polished manners and carefully chosen words, seek to navigate the treacherous waters of intergalactic politics. I steadied my gaze, meeting the eyes of my advisors, and diplomats in turn. Their expressions ranged from hopeful to cautious, mirroring my own uncertainty as they looked away from me.
But despite their efforts, I cannot shake the feeling of unease that grips me. Leaving my home planet feels like stepping into the unknown, like casting adrift upon a vast and unfathomable sea. Will Coruscant heed our plea for aid? Will they recognize the struggle of my people, struggling beneath the weight of poverty and oppression?
Only time will tell.As the murmurs continue to swirl around me, I take a deep breath, trying to steady the tremor in my voice. The eyes of my entourage turn towards me, and I feel the weight of their expectations pressing down upon me like a heavy cloak.
"Esteemed advisors and trusted diplomats," I begin, my voice carrying more authority than I feel within. "Our journey to Coruscant is not just a diplomatic mission; it is a plea for the survival of our people. The Senate must hear our case, and we must convince them to lend us their aid."
A hushed silence settles in the chamber as all eyes remain fixed on me. I turn my gaze to my advisors, their faces etched with the gravity of the situation. Seeking wisdom, I meet the eyes of my most trusted counselor, Lord Arion, whose lined face betrays the weight of his years of service.
"What would be our plan to sway the Senate in our favor?" I inquired, my words tinged with both urgency and apprehension.
Lord Arion steps forward, his voice measured and calm. "Your Highness, we must present our case with conviction and clarity. The Senate values evidence and reason. We must compile a thorough detailing of the hardships faced by our people, the struggles we endure daily, and the urgent need for assistance. Facts and figures will be our allies in this situation."
His words offer a semblance of reassurance, but the tension in the room remains heavy. I turn to my chief diplomat, Lady Seraphina, who approaches with a calm demeanor that belies the storm of emotions within me.
"Your Majesty," Lady Seraphina begins, "we must also forge alliances with influential senators who can champion our cause. Personal connections often wield more influence than mere words. We must navigate the delicate dance of politics, appealing to their sense of empathy and self-interest."
Nodding in understandment, I contemplate the path that lies ahead. The enormity of the task before us presses down, and my heart races with the weight of responsibility. As Lady Seraphina finishes speaking, I can't help but feel a surge of doubt coursing through me. "But how can we ensure that the Senate will even acknowledge the existence of our planet?" I ask, my voice betraying the uncertainty that gnaws at my core. "And do you believe they will dismiss us simply because of my age?"
Lord Arion offers a sympathetic smile before responding. "Your Majesty, we will use every available channel to make our case known. We will petition senators, lobby influential figures, and utilize the resources at our disposal to ensure that our message reaches the ears of those who hold power. As for your age, while some may underestimate you, we will prove that your wisdom and determination far outweighs any doubts they may have."
His words offer a glimmer of hope, but the shadow of uncertainty still looms large. I let my hands fall into my lap, fingers tracing the intricate patterns of the silk material of my dress as I fidget with nervous energy. The weight of responsibility feels heavier than ever, and the doubts that plague my mind threaten to overwhelm me.
But I cannot afford to falter now. My people are counting on me, and I will not let them down. With a deep breath, I straighten my spine and steel myself for the challenges that lie ahead.
"Very well," I say, my voice steady despite the tumult of emotions within. "We will proceed with our plan and do everything in our power to secure aid for our people. Together, we will face whatever obstacles may come our way, and we will emerge victoriously."
I rise from my throne, the weight of my crown a reminder of the burden I bear. But as I look around at the faces of my loyal companions, I know that I am not alone. Together, we will navigate the treacherous waters of intergalactic politics, and we will ensure that the voice of our planet is heard.
As I take a step forward, my eyes meet those of Lady Elara, another trusted advisor who has been silent thus far which usually meant that she was trying to choose her words carefully. She clears her throat before addressing the concerns lingering in the air. "Your Highness, if I may interject, the Queen of Naboo herself, Queen Amidala, is currently only 14 years old. Yet, she is navigating the intricate web of the Senate with remarkable skill and resilience. Age should not be a deterrent; instead, it can be a symbol of strength, showcasing the determination of a young monarch fighting for her people."
Her words bring a spark of inspiration, and I find solace in the thought that age may not be an insurmountable obstacle after all then. I nod in gratitude to Lady Elara and make my way off the throne towards a nearby counter, where a protocol droid stands ready with a refreshing drink. The cool liquid soothes my parched throat, but my mind remains ablaze with the challenges ahead.
Before I can voice my thoughts, the chamber's doors hiss open, and Captain Renner strides in with an air of urgency. He exchanges a quick glance with Lady Seraphina, who steps forward to receive his whispered message. My eyes fixate on the unfolding scene, the unease returning in full force.
Lady Seraphina's expression tightens as she listens to the captain's report. The room falls silent, every gaze focused on her as she turns back towards us. "Your Majesty, there is urgent news. The hyperdrive has malfunctioned due to a cause they haven’t traced yet, and we are forced to make an unscheduled stop for repairs. This delay will set us back several days."
A collective sigh of frustration ripples through the room. My heart sinks at the thought of our already delicate mission facing further setbacks. The weight of responsibility presses down on me, threatening to crush my resolve.
A heavy silence descends upon the room as I take a few moments to contemplate the unforeseen obstacles that now stand in our path. The hum of the starship's engines seems to resonate with the tumultuous thoughts in my mind. I do not meet the gazes of my advisors; instead, I stare into the depths of the swirling liquid in my cup, seeking clarity.
The weight of responsibility presses down on me, threatening to crush my resolve. However, I cannot afford to let the moment linger for too long. I raise my head, meeting the expectant eyes of my loyal companions, and find my voice.
"We cannot afford to wait several days for repairs," I declare, my words cutting through the tense atmosphere. "The urgency of our mission requires a swifter course of action. We will find an alternative starship and proceed to Coruscant without delay."
A murmur of disagreement rises among my advisors. Lord Arion steps forward, his brow furrowed with concern. "Your Majesty, I understand the urgency, but hastily changing our mode of transport may jeopardize the safety of the journey. We must consider the risks and—"
I cut him off, my voice firm. "The risks of delay far outweigh the uncertainties of an alternative starship. We cannot afford to waste time. Lives depend on our success, and we must act decisively."
Lady Seraphina interjects, "Your Majesty, the diplomatic protocols and security measures for a different vessel will take time to arrange. We must ensure a smooth transition to avoid any complications in our journey."
My gaze meets Lady Elara's, searching for support. She hesitates before speaking, "Your Highness, I share the concerns of my fellow advisors. We must proceed cautiously to safeguard the integrity of our mission."
I take a deep breath, absorbing their reservations. The path ahead is fraught with challenges, and I must weigh the consequences of my decision. However, the urgency of our mission fuels my determination.
"Despite the challenges, we cannot afford to be paralyzed by indecision. We will find a suitable alternative swiftly and ensure the necessary precautions are taken. Lives hang in the balance, and we must not falter in our duty," I assert, my voice unwavering.
The room falls into a contemplative silence as my advisors exchange glances, grappling with the gravity of the situation. The fate of my people rests on this decision, and I am prepared to face whatever consequences may arise from my choice.
The air in the chamber thickens with tension as my advisors exchange wary glances, still unconvinced by my resolve. Lady Seraphina speaks up once more, her tone edged with caution. "Your Majesty, we understand the urgency, but such haste may compromise our safety. The risks of an unfamiliar starship—"
Before she can finish her sentence, Lord Arion adds, "And the diplomatic repercussions of changing our mode of transport mid-journey, Your Highness. We must consider—"
I interrupt them, my voice firm and resolute. "Enough. I appreciate your concerns for all of our safety, but the urgency of our mission demands swift action, you all know this. We cannot afford to wait. Lives depend on our success, and why would you all let fear paralyze us."
As they exchange troubled glances, Lady Elara interjects, "Your Majesty, forgive us for questioning, but it is our duty to ensure your safety and the success of this mission. Perhaps if we consider alternative solutions—"
My patience wanes, and I look to Captain Renner, who stands by the doorway, awaiting further instructions. "Captain, what is the nearest suitable starship we can secure for our journey?"
The Captain hesitates for a moment before responding, "Your Majesty, the nearest available starship is en route to Endor for routine maintenance. It is a reliable vessel, and we can make the necessary arrangements for your departure."
Endor. The name echoes in the chamber, and I see a glimmer of uncertainty in the eyes of my advisors. It is a planet with its own history and alliances, and their reservations become more palpable.
"What is the concern?" I ask, my voice now holding a touch of impatience. "Are you not willing to consider Endor as a temporary solution to our predicament?"
Lady Seraphina hesitates before speaking cautiously, "Your Majesty, Endor is known for its unique political landscape. A sudden arrival without proper diplomatic measures could create complications. We must consider the potential fallout."
I stand firm, my gaze piercing through the room. "I understand the concerns, but time is not on our side. We will proceed to Endor, and we will handle any complications as they arise. Our mission cannot be delayed any further."

As the ramp of the starship descends with a soft hiss, I step onto the landing pad, my droid and handmaidens trailing behind me. Flanking me are my loyal royal guards, their presence a comforting reminder of the protection surrounding me. The air is crisp with the scent of unfamiliar flora, and the sounds of the forest echo in the distance.
Before I can take in my surroundings, a question lingers on my lips. "Captain, where exactly have we landed?"
The Captain opens his mouth to respond, but before he can utter a word, a sudden commotion interrupts the air. I turn to see my royal guards, blasters drawn, confronting a small figure standing at the edge of the landing pad.
"Stay where you are!" one of the guards commanded sternly, their weapons trained on the diminutive creature.
Confusion grips me as I approach, my eyes widening in astonishment at the sight before me. The figure is no larger than a child, covered in shaggy fur and adorned with primitive garb. It takes a few hesitant steps backward, its large, expressive eyes wide with fear.
"What is the meaning of this?" I demand, my voice tinged with both concern and curiosity.
The Captain steps forward, his expression apologetic. "Your Majesty, it appears we have landed in the territory of the native inhabitants of Endor. This creature is known as an Ewok."
My heart sinks as I realize the gravity of the situation. We have trespassed onto the land of these indigenous beings, and now we must navigate the delicate balance of diplomacy.
"Lower your weapons," I command my guards, their blasters retracting obediently. Turning to the Ewok, I offer a reassuring smile. "We mean you no harm. We come in peace."
The Ewok eyes me warily, its gaze flickering between me and my entourage. Slowly, it takes a cautious step forward, its posture wary but curious.
"We seek only temporary refuge on your planet," I explain gently, hoping to convey our intentions. "We mean no disrespect to your home."
The Ewok studies me for a moment longer before disappearing into the dense foliage of the forest, leaving me to ponder the complexities of our unexpected encounter.
Turning to my protocol droid, CP50, I issue a command, "CP50, act as our translator. We need to establish communication and ensure there are no misunderstandings with the inhabitants of this planet."
The droid acknowledges the order with a nod and a small “Yes, you’re majesty.” As the droid initiates communication protocols, I step off the ramp, my eyes filled with wonder and curiosity at the sights around me. The vibrant colors of the Endorian flora and the unique sounds of the forest create an atmosphere unlike any I have experienced before.
My handmaidens and royal guards follow suit, their expressions a mix of fascination and apprehension. The air is filled with the sweet scent of unfamiliar flowers, and the ambient sounds of the forest lend an ethereal quality to our surroundings.
However, my moment of awe is interrupted by the concerned voices of my advisors. Lord Arion approaches me with a tone of urgency. "Your Majesty, we must remain on the ship. This unexpected detour could pose risks, and we should not stray too far when we don’t even know what is potentially out there."
I turn to face them, a hint of frustration in my voice. "I understand the concerns, but diplomacy begins with understanding. We must establish a rapport with the inhabitants of this planet. CP50 will assist us in navigating any language barriers."
Lady Seraphina adds, "Your Majesty, while diplomacy is crucial, we should proceed with caution. We are still strangers in a foreign land, and unforeseen complications may arise."
I nod in acknowledgment of their concerns but stand firm in my decision. "We will exercise caution, but we cannot afford to ignore the potential allies or obstacles this planet may present. Our mission remains to secure aid for our people, and diplomacy is the key to achieving that goal."
As we venture further into the Endorian landscape, the sounds of the forest growing louder around us, I then look up to see homes…bridges that lead tree to tree.
As I gaze up at the towering trees, marveling at the intricate network of huts and bridges woven among their branches, a sense of awe washes over me. The Ewok village seems to blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the forest, a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of its inhabitants.
Suddenly, a rustling in the foliage ahead breaks the spell of wonder, and I instinctively tense, my hand drifting towards the hilt of my ceremonial blade. Six Ewoks emerge from the shadows, their wary eyes fixed upon us as they brandish spears with cautious determination.
I exchange a glance with CP50, silently urging the droid to facilitate communication. As the droid begins to translate my words into their native tongue, I step forward, meeting the gaze of the Ewoks with a mixture of respect and reassurance.
"Hello," I say, my voice ringing out with clarity amidst the rustling of leaves. "My name is Queen Korr of Lemono. I come in peace, seeking to establish communication and mutual understanding between our peoples."
The Ewoks regard me with a mixture of curiosity and wariness, their expressions unreadable beneath their furry visages. For a tense moment, silence hangs in the air, broken only by the gentle whisper of the wind through the trees.
Then, one of the Ewoks takes a tentative step forward, its spear lowered ever so slightly. It speaks in a language unfamiliar to my ears, but CP50 swiftly translates its words.
"We welcome you, Queen Korr of Lemono," the Ewok says, its voice tinged with cautious optimism. "But we must ensure the safety of our village. Please, come with us. Our elders will decide your fate."
I nod in understanding, a sense of relief washing over me. This encounter may yet prove to be the first step towards securing the aid my people so desperately need. With a quick stride, I follow the Ewoks into the depths of their forest home, hopeful that diplomacy will prevail in the face of uncertainty.
Led through the intricate treetop pathways, I find myself standing before the Ewok elders, wise and weathered figures adorned in ceremonial garb. Their eyes, ancient and knowing, regard me with a mix of curiosity and caution. As CP50 translates my words, I address the gathering with a respectful bow.
"Esteemed elders of Endor," I begin, my voice carrying the weight of sincerity, "I am Queen Korr of Lemono. I come in peace, seeking your understanding and cooperation. Our ship has encountered technical issues, and we urgently need assistance to reach Coruscant. The fate of my people depends on the aid we seek from the Galactic Senate."
The elders exchange glances, their expressions thoughtful and contemplative. The rustle of leaves and the distant sounds of the forest create a backdrop for the delicate negotiation unfolding among the treetops.
One elder, with a crown of leaves upon its head, steps forward and speaks in a melodic language that resonates with the harmony of the forest. CP50 swiftly translates, "We sense the sincerity in your words, Queen Korr of Lemono. But our trust must be earned. Your people must respect the ways of our land, and you must prove that your intentions are genuine."
I nod, acknowledging their terms. "I understand the importance of earning your trust. We are guests in your home, and we will abide by your customs. All we ask is for the opportunity to repair our ship and continue our journey to Coruscant, where we seek assistance for the hardships faced by my people."
The elder nods in response, and a silent exchange among the Ewoks follows. Finally, a consensus seems to be reached, and the elder addresses me again, "You shall be granted the chance to repair your ship, Queen Korr. But know this: the balance of our world is delicate. Respect it, and you will find allies among the Ewoks of Endor."
Gratitude fills my heart as I express my appreciation to the elders. With the promise of cooperation, I am hopeful that we can mend our starship and resume our journey. The forest canopy above seems to whisper its approval, as if the very trees themselves have granted us a chance to prove our intentions and secure the aid my people so desperately need.
As I bow respectfully to the Ewok elders, a soft murmur emanates from behind me, where my advisors confer in hushed tones. I catch snippets of their conversation, an undercurrent of skepticism threading through their words. Ignoring the whispers, I straighten up and turn to face the elders, determination etched on my face.
"I am grateful for your understanding, esteemed elders," I say, addressing them directly. "In our quest to repair our ship swiftly, I must inquire if there is a spare vessel available that we may borrow temporarily. This would expedite our journey to Coruscant and allow us to return your kindness promptly."
The elder, with a nod of consideration, confers with the others in their melodious language. After a brief exchange, they collectively agree, and the elder responds through CP50's translation.
"We have a transport vessel that you may use for your journey, Queen Korr of Lemono," the elder announces. "It is not as advanced as your starship, but it will serve your purpose. We entrust it to you with the understanding that you will respect the balance of the forest and return it once your mission is complete."
Expressing my sincere gratitude, I assure them of our utmost respect for their customs and pledge to return the vessel as promised. The Ewoks, in turn, guide us to their transport vessel, a modest yet sturdy craft nestled within the treetop village.
As my advisors reluctantly follow, their murmurs continue, but I remain focused on the task at hand. The path to Coruscant is still fraught with challenges, but with the borrowed vessel, we should have a renewed sense of purpose and the means to continue our diplomatic journey through the vast reaches of the galaxy.
As I step aboard the vessel graciously lent to us by the Ewoks, a surge of anxiety courses through me. Despite their hospitality, I can't shake the nagging feeling that we are intruding on their world, disrupting the delicate balance of their lives. The weight of responsibility presses down on me, and I can feel the eyes of my people upon me, their hopes and fears resting squarely on my shoulders.
Glancing back at my advisors and diplomats, I am met with a mixture of reluctance and apprehension. Their whispered conversations and doubtful expressions only serve to fuel my frustration. How dare they question the hospitality of our hosts, especially after the kindness they have shown us?
Suppressing a sigh, I take a moment to compose myself, my hands clenched into fists at my sides. With a firm gaze, I addressed them, my voice tinged with disappointment. "It is imperative that we show respect for the customs and traditions of the Ewoks. They have offered us their aid in our time of need, and we must honor their generosity with our gratitude and cooperation."
My words hang heavy in the air, but the tension among my companions remains palpable. As the borrowed vessel glides through the Endorian sky, I turn to my advisors and diplomats, a question lingering on my lips. "Who among you will volunteer to stay behind and assist the Ewoks? We must ensure our presence here does not disrupt their way of life."
A moment of uncomfortable silence fills the air. I watch the faces of my companions, hoping for a willing volunteer to step forward. However, none of them seem eager to accept the responsibility of remaining on Endor.
Lord Arion, ever the voice of caution, steps forward, "Your Majesty, it may not be wise to leave our diplomatic mission in the hands of those unfamiliar with the complexities of intergalactic politics. Perhaps we should all proceed to Coruscant together and—"
I cut him off with a frustrated tone, "The Ewoks have shown us kindness, and we must reciprocate. We cannot take advantage of their generosity without offering something in return. Who among you will step up for this important task?"
A heavy silence lingers, my advisors and diplomats exchanging uneasy glances. When no one volunteers, a sense of frustration builds within me. These individuals, who are meant to assist and advise me, seem unwilling to embrace the responsibilities that come with diplomacy.
In a decisive moment, I point to one of my diplomats, Lady Isolde, a handmaiden Anne-Jane, and a member of the flight crew, Lieutenant Rylan. "You two will stay behind on Endor. Assist the Ewoks in whatever they require. Ensure that our presence here leaves a positive impact, and when our ship is repaired, join us on Coruscant."
They share an exchange at a glance, acknowledging the responsibility thrust upon them. I watch as they walk off of the ship causing me to finally feel some type of ease. The ship begins to hum underneath my feet. It’s risky to leave my trusted people here, but I couldn’t just leave the Ewoks without nothing. I felt eyes on me. My stomach twisting and turning…I need to believe in myself.

Stumbling out of the house, you ignore the bite of the chilly October air. You pull yourself down to sit on the top step of the stars, blinking back the tears stinging your eyes. The house behind you echoes with music and chatter, the night ringing with laughter. Sighing, you rub your hands together, bitterly wishing you’d brought your jacket. You wince, feeling your jaw protest as you clench it again, trying to keep the tears from hitting you. You immediately let it go, trying to take a deep breath to calm your fried nerves.
You really should just cut your losses and go home.
Taking a shaky breath, you mean to stand up, to head out to your car and get out of there when you hear the unmistakable noise of the piano begin.
You weren’t even really sure how Tommy and his girlfriend (Ellie? Ella? Elle? Eden?) had wound up with a piano, something about one of their parents gifting it to them, but there was Bradley’s voice, clear against the night, the drunken laughter and shouting your friends following his tune.
You could maybe place the song from the ‘80′s (or was it the ‘90′s?) but the cheeriness did little to alleviate what you were feeling. Distantly, the music began to feel muted as you pulled your knees up against your chest, your head falling on to them.
The first tear escapes, and then the second, trailing down your cheeks in a path of salty warmth. It’s only a few moments later that the first sob escapes you and your shoulders heave as you try to keep it quiet. The last thing you needed was for someone to overhear and come out to the porch.
Like that would happen; they hadn’t even noticed you were gone.
The house erupts in cheers, a chant following Bradley’s dramatic finish to his song, making you choke on yet another sob.
How could a kid who wasn’t even really part of this group, didn’t even live here anymore, waltz in and charm everyone in the room?
Suddenly you felt inadequate, second-guessing your place with these people, if they had really been your friends in the first place. You wouldn’t blame them for wanting him here over you, the charming kid with the dazzling smile and the piano skills and insane intelligence you could only ever hope to match. With dreams and aspirations as wide as the whole world, yours felt small standing next to him.
Maybe you’d been too much the first few times you’d met him, dying for the chance to hang out with the kid who seemed to let his burdens weigh heavy on his soul but still had an infectious laughter. But you’d toned down the looking at him with stars in your eyes, had been toning it down for the last year.
Still, you shouldn’t have come tonight. You hadn’t even known he’d be in town, would be here, had thought that a small get together with these people you hadn’t seen in months, would cure your soul of the wearing loneliness and the pain of the physical ailments plaguing you at the moment. You hadn’t expected to walk in, hear his laughter, see him regaling them with a story from his time at basic. It should’ve been your sign to walk away before things could worse.
It was difficult to put up the usual sunny front you led with, and he had frowned only a few moments after seeing you, sans usual smile and happy-go-lucky personality that had for so long defined you as a person.
It had seemed like he hadn’t even wanted you there, tossing glances your way every couple of minutes as you sat back and watched your friends get drunker, taking a place at the sidelines for the night. It was all you could muster but the continuous sidelong glances from him stung. You thought the two of you had long moved past those, it turns out you were wrong.
The door opened you behind you and your head shot up as you sniffled. There were a few footsteps that paused behind you. You glanced up to see the last person you’d wanted to at that moment. Your cheeks went red as you sniffed again, reaching up to wipe away some of the tears from your face. They were mostly dry at this point, making the movement kind of useless.
“Ducking out early?” You ask, throat scratchy from crying and you wince at it. He raises an eyebrow at you and avoids the question.
“You shouldn’t be out here without a jacket. it’s like 40 out, you’ll freeze.” You shrug.
“Forgot it.”
He sighs, shifting and you watch him take his jacket off, placing it over your shoulders. You protest but he waves you off, settling down next you on the step. “You okay?” He asks, looking at you carefully with something you could almost mistake for concern.
You wouldn’t make that mistake though, because you know he doesn’t see you like that. Not even as a friend.
“You don’t have to do the noble thing and stay just because of I’m crying.”
“It’s not doing the noble thing, it’s doing the right thing. We’re friends.”
You look at him. “We’re friends?”
He scoffs. “Of course we’re friends.”
You swallow, looking away from him as blood rushes to your cheeks. “Didn’t think you thought of me like that.
He rolls his eyes, shifting to lean on the back of his hands. “C’mon, out with it Sunshine, what’s up?”
You sigh, wrapping the jacket around you tighter. “I don’t- It’s nothing.”
He eyes you for a long, quiet moment. “It’s not nothing. C’mon, you can talk to me.”
You groan, reaching up to rub your temple. “It’s stupid.” You mumble, wondering how you were going to explain to him that you were crying because you were overwhelmed.
“It’s not stupid.”
“Yes, it is.”
“Fine, if you don’t want to talk about it, I won't push. How’s senior year?”
“Shit.” You grumble, before you can stop yourself.
“Yeah?”
“Capstone is kicking my ass, I work like 30 hours a week, it’s just all-” You stop, feeling the tears climb up your throat again. “It’s all just shit.”
“Not going how you wanted it to, huh?”
“Not in the slightest.”
He waits for you to say more, but when you don’t, he sighs, shifting to lean on his knees. “Hey, is your jaw okay? You’ve been holding your face anytime you eat or drink anything tonight.”
You huff out a laugh, embarrassed he’d caught on to that. “Oh, you saw that? Yeah, I have what I’m pretty sure is a wisdom tooth infection.”
“You still have those suckers? I got mine out when I was like 15. Think my godfather still has the video of me knocked on my ass by the drugs, just spewing pure nonsense.” He says, chucking and you laugh alongside him.
“Yeah, they needed to come out years ago but this is what happens when you have bitterly divorced parents who can’t agree on which child should get what little money they have.”
“So, are you getting them out now?”
“Yeah, I’ll probably have to. Have to go across town to get them looked at and hopefully get prescribed antibiotics.”
“Why the hell are you going across town? There’s one across the street from my old dorm building. And doesn’t UVA have a dental program they see students in?”
“Only place that accepts my parent’s shitty health insurance. And yeah, but they’ll only see you for routine cleanings and x-rays. This requires a real dentist who can prescribe me antibiotics. Trust me, I called because I can not afford the visit on Monday or the removal. Just add it to the list of things I’m in debt for and in pain over.”
“What do you mean?”
You glance at him, shaking your head. “I’ve got a host of health issues that’ve been going on for a while but I’m already in so much debt for school and my parent’s have shit healthcare and refuse to help me out. They told me I was on my own, so I just... ignore it. Can’t do anything else, really.”
“That can’t be healthy.”
“Probably not. But these are the joys of being poor.”
He shrugs, looking like he’s at a loss. “I can’t... can’t imagine what that was like. What that is like.” He sighs, rubbing his hands together. “I guess I can’t talk, growing up in a military family, where we had...” He trails off and you cock your head.
“Where we had what?” You prompt, confused as to where he had disappeared to. He startles.
“Let’s get married.”
There’s a long pause as you stare at him. “I take back every nice thing I’ve ever said about you Bradshaw because that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard come out of your mouth.”
He smirks at you. “Talk about me when I’m not around, eh?”
You push his head down as he laughs in your attempt to hide the blush fighting it’s way up your neck. “Shut up.” You mumble, which only makes him laugh harder. Watching his shoulders shake with laughter, you can’t help the small laugh that escapes you, the smile splitting across your face. “Well, if that was your plan to get me to laugh and cheer up, mission accomplished.”
He chuckles, shaking his head. “No- I mean, I’m glad it did, but no that wasn’t the goal. I’m serious.”
“You’ve lost your mind Bradshaw. Left it back at basic somewhere.”
He nudges your shoulder. “C’mon, think about it. Military spouses get crazy good health benefits. It’d be enough to help you get some of those things looked at, get your wisdom teeth removed. There’s, like, tax breaks and stuff. Could maybe help with the student loan debt.”
You nod slowly. “Okay... there’s just one small problem. We’re not in love.” The words feel bitter on your tongue as you try to play it off, ignoring the twist in your heart.
He shrugs. “The Navy doesn’t need to know that.”
“And what are we gonna do about those fuckers in there?” You say, nodding your head to the front door behind you.
“We’ll tell them that we’ve been madly in love for months and have decided to elope as soon as possible.”
You roll your eyes. “Yeah, they’ll buy that.”
“You got a better idea?”
Ignoring the question, you decide to throw a different one back at him. “What are we going to tell our parents?”
He shifts uncomfortably. “The only set of parents we’ll have to worry about are yours.”
You eye him as he now refuses to meet your gaze. “Bradley-”
“Let me do this for you Sunshine. Let me help.”
You sigh, standing up from the step. “We’ll talk in the morning when you’re sober Bradshaw.”
You chuck the jacket at him as you walk across the lawn towards your car. “I am sober Sunshine!”
You pause as you reach the street, a ghost of a smile on your face. “See you in the morning Bradshaw.”
He smiles back at you. “Goodnight Sunshine.”
-
You reach out to ring the doorbell, feeling Bradley’s warm hand press against the small of your back, even through your coat. Your heart flutters at the movement as the front door swings open.
“Eli!” You shout, greeted by the face of Bradley’s best friend. His grin is wide as he steps out on to the porch to give you a hug. He pulls you tight as Eli’s sister appears over his shoulder, stepping out to give Bradley a hug. He lets you go and the two of you switch, you going to Eli’s sister and him to Bradley. They usher the two of you in the house as you look around. You hadn’t been here since Eli moved.
“I gotta admit that when Bradley called me, I wasn’t expecting this news.” Eli says, shutting the door behind him. Bradley steps behind you, putting his hands on your shoulder.
“What can I say Eli, the perfect girl was in front of me all along.” Eli’s sister coos as you feel your cheeks warm, glancing up at Bradley. He smiles down at you as Eli shakes his head, chuckling.
“Cheesy you’ve always been Bradshaw. C’mon, everyone’s in the kitchen.” He leads you through the hallway, Bradley’s hands not leaving your shoulders. You appear in the kitchen, a cheer going up at the sight of the two of you. You laugh, being pulled into a hug by your friend Bailey.
“Okay, the two of you. We’re starting this night off right by doing shots.” You laugh as Bailey lets you go, Tommy pouring two tequila shots and handing them to you both.
Bradley glances at you. “You’re done with your antibiotics right?” You nod.
“Took my last dose yesterday morning, why?”
“You’re not supposed to drink on antibiotics.” He says, tossing back the liquid and you mirror his movement, face going red again, not just from the warmth of the alcohol. You groan, making a face as you wipe your mouth.
“Fucking hate tequila.”
Eli laughs. “Well, you’re gonna have to get used to it, because the goal of tonight is to get the two of you trashed. Only proper way to celebrate the two of you getting married.”
Tommy’s girlfriend (Ella is her name, you’ve confirmed) laughs as Eli bustles off to pull more alcohol from the fridge. “How was that process, by the way?”
Bradley shrugs. “Surprisingly simple. You just need valid ID and forms of payment. Can do the marriage license and court paperwork all in the same day, so long as you’re there before closing.” She nods as Bailey slides you a can of beer from the fridge.
“Always baffles me that states vary so widely in their marriage and divorce laws.”
You nod as you laugh, raising your drink in acknowledgment and agreement of her statement. “Can confirm, family court in my home state is hell. I think my parents are still fighting.”
“Still?” Bailey asks, eyes going wide.
Eli moves in between the conversation, setting more shot glasses on the counter. “Okay, okay, that’s enough legal talk. You two have not had nearly enough alcohol. Shut up and take another shot.”
-
He shuts the backdoor behind him quietly as the Star Wars debate (yes Eli, Revenge of the Sith is the best and yes it does have everything to do with how hot Hayden Christensen is, Sunshine had argued) dissolves into drunken laughter, Sunshine’s giggles making him smile as he glances back at her. She’s got her head on Bailey’s shoulder, still laughing, as the group re-focuses on the Mario Kart game that had long since been abandoned. Taking a sip from his beer bottle, he steps further away from the glass door, looking out at the night sky.
He sighs, thinking about the red eye he has to catch tomorrow night back to his base. He’s going back with absolutely unexpected news, and he wonders how long it will take for the news to get back to Uncle Ice. To Maverick, because he’s no fool to think that the man doesn't have some kind of tabs on him. Slider might even find out, if Ice cares enough to tell him.
He wonders if his parents would be disappointed in him, taking advantage of the Navy like this. He wonders if his Dad would angry for breaking this rule, this law, even when he knows in his heart he’s doing the right thing.
He’s never seen you so happy, so carefree, so much like a weight has been lifted, and that’s saying something, knowing exactly how you earned your nickname as Sunshine.
The door clicks shut behind him and he turns to see you, walking towards him. He smiles at you as you pull your jacket on, two Diet Cokes in hand.
“I don’t know how you can drink that crap, worse than the alcohol Eli was feeding us earlier.” You roll your eyes, handing him the drink as the two of you sit down at the picnic table in Eli’s rather nice backyard.
“Eli’s done well for himself since graduating it seems.” You comment, sticking your hands in your pockets. He nods, popping up the can of soda, a nice change of pace to the alcohol the two of you had been drinking all night.
“Yeah, I agree. Kinda wish he’d send some of that my way.”
You scoff, giving him an incredulous look. “You’ve done amazing for yourself since graduating Bradley, don’t give me that shit.”
He shrugs, shifting in the chair. “You think? I don’t know-”
“Bradley, you have dreams so big I don’t think the world is ready for them. Think it’s why you’re chasing them up in the sky, not enough room on the ground for all of them.”
He huffs out a laugh at that. “Thank you.” He says quietly, taking another sip of his drink, feeling his chest tighten at the words.
“I hope you get every single one of them.”
He glances at you, taking in your rosy cheeks, the lopsided grin on your face. Still, he returns the smile. “You’re drunk.”
You let out a little laugh. “Maybe just a little.” There’s a pause as he looks at you, watching the way the moonlight dances across your skin. You look back up at him. “What?”
He shakes his head. “Nothing, just thinking about how much I’m gonna have to call you every week to make this believable.”
“Every day, Bradshaw. I expect a call every day.”
He laughs outright at the drunken comment and you laugh alongside him. “Well, guess I’ll have to stay alive long enough to be back here for my wife’s graduation huh?”
You point a finger at him as you take another sip of your drink. “You’d better Bradshaw. Gonna have to introduce you to my parents.”
“Oh, so not looking forward to that.”
You chuckle, shaking your head. “”M gonna miss you Bradley.”
He smiles softly at you, resisting the urge to reach out and move the hair that’s fallen in front of your face. You’re currently trying to blow it out of your face and it’s very much not working.
“Gonna miss you too Sunshine.”

Kether – “In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.” 1:1* Chokmah – “Let there be light” 1:3 Binah – “Let there be a firmament … let it divide …” 1:6 Gedulah – “Let the waters be gathered … let dry land appear …” 1:9 Geburah – “Let the earth put forth grass … etc.” 1:11 Tiphareth – “Let there be lights in the firmament …” 1:14 Netzach – “Let the waters swarm … let fowl fly …” 1:20 Hod – “Let the earth bring forth living creatures …” 1:24 Yesod – “Let us make man …” 1:26 Malkuth – “Be fruitful and multiply …” 1:28 Mothers: “Elohim made:“ Aleph – “the Firmament and divided the waters …” 1:7 Mem – “the two great lights … and the stars.” 1:16 Shin – “the beast of the earth after its kind …” 1:25 Doubles: “Elohim saw:“ Beth – “the light, that it was good.” 1:4 Gimel – “that it was good.” (the separation of dry land and waters) 1:10 Daleth – “that it was good” (the earth bringing forth grass, etc.) 1:12 Kaph – that it was good” (the two lights in the firmament) 1:18 Peh – “that it was good” (swarming of waters with creatures; of air with fowl) 1:21 Resh – “that it was good” (the beasts of the earth) 1:25 Tav – “every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.” 1:31
Elementals: “Elohim –“
Heh – “hovered over the face of the waters.” 1:2 Vav – “divided the light from the darkness.” 1:4 Zayin – “called the light Day, and darkness Night.” 1:5 Cheth – “called the firmament Heaven.” 1:8 Teth – “called the dry land, Earth … and the waters, Seas.” 1:10 Yod – “set them [the two lights] in the firmament of the heaven” 1:17 Lamed – “created the sea-monsters, creatures that creep, and fowl.” 1:21 Nun – “blessed them [sea-monsters, creepers, and fowl] …” 1:22 Samekh – “created man in His own image.” 1:27 Ayin – “created He him; male and female created He them.” 1:27 Tzaddi – “blessed them [male and female].” 1:28 Qooph – “said: I have given you all …” 1:29*
*There are two exceptions to this: The first is Gen1:1, and Sephirah 1/Kether, wherein “Elohim said” is assumed. The second is Gen1:29, and Elemental 12/Qooph, wherein the focus is shifted from the “Elohim said”, to the “I have given you all …”
