A parking pass from the Donald Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president was shot, has sold for hundreds of dollars on eBay. The green special guest parking pass reeled in $385 on Monday following 31 bids.
“Printed and used instructions for special guest with printed and used parking pass and mailer left in car after the event. I have actual pictures inside the event to support these items being there,” the eBay description reads.
No other items from the rally have yet to be posted on eBay as of this publishing on Monday afternoon.
However, others are trying to cash-in on the assassination attempt, selling trading cards, shirts, photos and other items with Trump’s likeness. Prices are ranging from $5 for cards, $20 for shirts and $50 for photos.
Trump collectibles have previously sold for thousands of dollars on eBay. In May, a Collect Trump Cards relic card, which contained a piece of the suit he wore when he had his mugshot taken inside an Atlanta, Georgia, jail, sold for $6,177. This past February, people shelled out thousands for limited-edition Trump gold sneakers.

The dromedaries of Sang He’s herd were amazed at Jeremy’s ability to keep up by maintaining a steady canter to their walking.  They shifted the walking order to put the double colloquium at the center, where they could all hear. Most of what Sehang Shu was telling and responding to was material that was interesting but pretty well known to them.
What Jeremy was explaining about small unit military operations was both new and fascinating.  Sehang Shu spoke for them all as she offered, “So that is how to advance against a superior force?  I would not have expected that we would have any option but retreat.”
Nodding, Jeremy cantered alongside his friend and pointed out, “Retreat makes perfect sense sometimes.  When you must, do not simply flee.  A well done retreat in force makes it too costly for the enemy to follow.  Another option often overlooked in active situations is harassment.  That goes far beyond simply being irritating if properly done.”
The whole group nodded understanding.
The questions came thick and fast as they continued on toward Hong Wa.  It was time for noon rice all too soon, as Jeremy counted it.
While they gathered about the stove, fixing the meal, Soree said softly, “You are an excellent teacher, Jeremy.  The horses of Saddle Arabia could use your knowledge and skills.”
Daring Do acknowledged, “It is easy to see how you could be deserving of a Hurricane Fellowship, Jeremy.  I have to say, though, that I am glad that you chose Antiquities instead.”
Sehang Shu nodded, “In only a few hours, I have learned more of these matters than in my whole life before this.  I have lived in these deserts and faced these situations many times.”  She shuddered a little, emotion getting the better of her as she went on, “I have lost too many friends to the ignorance of what you spoke of so clearly this morning.
“Jeremy, why are you crying?”
He looked up from his rice, vegetables and tea.  “I am not used to this, Shu.  My family never treated me with much respect at all.  My older brother and sister both went to the Equestrian Military Academy.  The family was proud of them, even if they did not qualify for the College.
“When I did, they tried to drive me unmercifully to be the best.  No respect, though.  Always called me dummy or stupid if I made any mistake at all.  Never said anything of praise when I was right because if I was going to E.M. College, being right was expected.  I hated it.”
To his surprise, Sehang Shu gave him a hug.  “These are not bad tears, Jeremy.  Let them out.  Let the old venom flow out with them.  We here, not only respect you, we are in your debit.  You have saved lives yesterday and likely more this morning.  Ignorance is the deadliest of enemies.”
Daring Do watched in thoughtful silence and then offered, “Jeremy, continue your colloquium of Ethnological Geography.  I have been auditing your progress.  If you continue to learn as well as what I have been hearing, I will correct your grade when we return to the Royal University.”
The party continued to work their way through the vast X'ibian Highlands toward the ancient and long abandoned Imperial Capital city of Hong Wa.
Cresting a low pass in a sharp sided defile of stone, they got their first view of their goal. Jeremy took one look and dived for cover.  Without waiting to ask why, the whole party went for shelter.

Some days previous, in Cantrot, the partners examined what their 385 gold cash had bought in the way of repairs.
Robber philosophically observed, “At least both trucks are now fully operational and all systems required by law are working correctly.”
Tyranny snarled, “Why didn’t they fix that door?”
Overthrow retorted, “You know why!  Besides insulting the Shop Master, you got it hit by a water buffalo!  They had no parts that would fit!  At least it is secure and weather tight!”
“Drat it, Overthrow, all that I did was bribe the Shop Master to put our trucks ahead of those other vehicles!  Mere farm working things!”
Robber shook his head sadly, “That is not how bribes here work, Tyranny.  I have explained that to you before.  They are to the person as a recognition of his importance to you.  They are NEVER to get your work or things put ahead of other work.  We had already taken care of the problem and had only to wait our turn until you breached all social etiquette here by trying to get him to rearrange his shop schedules for us.”
Overthrow, trying to get a developing argument derailed, inquired with real interest, “How are the ancient X'ibian translations going, Tyranny?”
Frustrated, he snapped, “I can find NOTHING about the Heart of Discord, no matter how old the manuscript!  I have found some that date to the reign of Im Farst and the Dragon Queen, but NOTHING about the Heart of Discord!
“We have OLDER references to it in Old Middle Equestrian from shortly after the Nightmare Wars than any from here!”
While mulling that over, they got into the trucks.  Overthrow grunted sourly, “I wish that our drivers had not abandoned us.  At least the desert should not offer much difficulty to our travel!”
Robber, mounting the driver’s seat of his truck, replied, “All that we need is to take the cross river barge and we will be headed to Hong Wa.”
He shoved Tyranny into the back of the cab.  “Just stay there and let us deal with the barge. The last thing that we need is you sticking a hoof up the rump of our passage!”
Sullen, Tyranny settled back and busied himself pretending to study old manuscripts.
Cantrot was covered by the dust raised by the trucks heading out into the desert.  Tyranny watched from the passenger seat of the lead truck as they came to the end of the road that they had been following.
“I thought that you said that this was the way to Hong Wa, Robber!  This is the end of the road.  Where is Hong Wa?”
Robber shrugged, his frustration with Tyranny utterly expressive of total contempt. “Sometimes I wonder if you listen to anything but your own voice, Tyranny.
“I said that this road will take us closest to Hong Wa!  From here on, we will be driving across the desert.  I do have good maps.”
Robber got out and began to scout the best way for the trucks to leave the road’s end.
Overthrow joined him. “Tyranny has gone completely mad, Overthrow.  He seems to think that there is a regular road going to a city abandoned a thousand years ago.  After I got it into his head that there was no road, he spouted garbage about just driving across the desert at night, steering by the stars!  He seems to think that the desert is FLAT!”
Overthrow nodded glumly. “Last meal break he told me to be watching out for the dust of Daring Do’s expedition.  I tried to tell him that they are taking an ancient dromedary route, completely different from ours.
“I tried to cash a credit letter in Cantrot before we left.  It was refused.  The firm’s capital is gone.  If this plan does not work, we do not have enough money to get home.”
Robber stopped, stunned. “Broke?  What has happened to it?”
Overthrow aimed a hoof at the truck with Tyranny in it.  “He  did.  Those new manuscripts that he has been studying?  Over two million golden bits by themselves.  Add in our expedition costs, which are simply enormous, and there is not enough capital left to even pay the staff at home.”
Robber accepted the news glumly.  “Look, a vulture circling up there!  Not an omen, I hope!”
Both chuckled at the feeble jest.  After locating the best way to get the trucks off the road, they returned to the vehicles and backed down the road to the chosen spot.  They bumped and bounced across the margin and set out, following landmarks shown on Robber’s map.
Tyranny was fretting, “We are going too slow!  We need to be swift!  We must get there first!”
Robber, as they hit a big bump, slamming Tyranny’s head to the ceiling, replied offhandedly, “Why?  If Daring Do gets there first, we let her find the tomb and do the heavy digging for us.
“If we get there first, we can still use HER and her cohorts to do the digging for us.  That tomb is not in any of the fourteen necropoli shown in the site map. Only she knows where it is, so we will let her find it for us.”
He waited, grinning that Tyranny had not fastened his safety harness, and deliberately hit another series of bumps, jouncing Tyranny about like a dried pea in a can.  “Are you sure that we need to go faster?  We are already making over four times the best walking pace of a dromedary.  We are nearly certain to be there first, ready and waiting for Daring Do’s expedition to show itself.”
~~ ~~ ~~ ~~
Jeremy signaled for them all to keep their heads down and retreat back into the pass.  When they were all safely back, he recovered his hooves and led them further back yet.  Satisfied, he told them all, “Wait here until I get back.”
He rummaged a pair of binoculars out of his saddle bag and sneaked back, going from cover to cover.  Watching him go, Soree made a few swift sketches and many notes.
She observed, “I think that Jeremy believes that somepony is there before us.”
Daring Do nodded and offered, “Any bets about WHO it might be?”  Silence greeted her offer.  “I thought not.”
Jeremy returned silently. “ROT got here first, with two trucks.  There seem to only be three of them, all Equestrians by the look of them.  Our problem is simple.
“They have a pair of obsolete MT81 quick fire guns and what appears to be two ammo cases for them.
“Those guns nearly caused the overthrow the Empress of the Gryphon Empire back during their Civil War, years ago.  Luckily for us, Doctor Do gave you those new semi automatic rifles.  The 81s still have the range on us and may have either solid or explosive rounds.
“Doctor Do, how accurate is your map of this area?”
“Perhaps main features could be off by as much as two meters.  Nothing worse.  Is it good enough?”
Jeremy nodded and gestured them close to study the map, remarking, “A good map is more deadly than a cannon.
“See this tongue of rock going down into the valley of Hong Wa?  If we can get behind it, they will not see our advance if we are careful.  From here on, we will be in rifle range of the guns.  Do not worry about the ponies.  We need to stop those guns.  Out in the open like that, their ammo cases are a weakness.”
Corba Jai suggested, “I have been from this pass to the blind canyon the leads to that ridge of stone. I scouted it for Doctor Do during the search for cave burials.”
Jeremy nodded acceptance at once.  “That is good, Corba Jai.  Would you please guide us all through to it?”
Nodding silently, Corba Jai led them further back up the defile.  She pointed to a steep but climbable slope.  “We need to go up here.  Bear to the right of that rock needle.  Getting down into the canyon will not be easy either but we can do it.”

The Lies of Locke Lamora - Scott Lynch
SPOILER WARNING!
Don’t know if any one will actually see this but I can never find collections of quotes including page numbers. I figured since I’m stuck in self-isolation, and incredibly bored, I’d make a collection for a few of my favourite books as I read them again. These are quotes and scenes that are my favourites (impact, emotion, etc).
__
‘Ila justicca vei cala’
‘I’ve got kids that enjoy stealing. I’ve got kids that don’t think about stealing one way or another, and I’ve got kids that just tolerate stealing because they know they’ve got nothing else to do. But nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever been hungry for it like this boy. If he had a bloody gash across his throat and a physiker was trying to sew it up, Lamora would steal the needle and thread and die laughing. He... steals too much.’ (pg 12)
‘There are only three people in life you can never fool - pawnbrokers, whores, and your mother. Since your mother’s dead, I’ve taken her place. Hence, I’m bullshit-proof.’ (pg 27)
‘Locke Lamora’s rule of thumb was this - a good confidence game took three months to plan, three weeks to rehearse, and three seconds to win or lose the victim’s trust forever. This time around, he planned to spend those three seconds getting strangled.’ (pg 31)
‘Locke is our brother and our love for him has no bounds. But the four most fatal words in the Therin language are “Locke would appreciate it.”’ ‘Rivalled only by ‘Locke taught me a new trick,”’ added Galdo. ‘The only person who gets away with Locke Lamora games...’ ‘...is Locke...’ ‘...because we think the gods are saving him up for a really big death. Something with knives and hot irons...’ ‘...and fifty thousand cheering spectators.’ (pg 62)
‘Unbelievable! Taken in so fast, by such a simple trick. Well, my father used to say that one moment of misjudgment at the Revel is worth ten at any other time.’ (pg 89)
‘What kind of knife is this?’ Locke held a rounded buttering utensil up for Chains’ inspection. ‘It’s all wrong. You couldn’t kill anyone with this.’ (pg 99)
‘I only steal because my dear old family needs the money to live!’ ‘Liar!’ ‘I only steal because this wicked world won’t let me work an honest trade!’ 'LIAR!' ‘I only steal because I have to support my poor lazy twin brother, whose indolence broke our mother’s heart!’ ‘LIAR!’ ‘I only steal because I’ve temporarily fallen in with bad company. ‘LIAR!’ ‘I only steal because it’s heaps of fucking fun!’ ‘BASTARD!’ (pg 107)
‘You’re one third bad intentions, one third pure avarice, and one eighth sawdust. What’s left, I’ll credit, must be brains.’ (pg 118)
‘Well, this is the damnedest damn thing that ever dammed things up for us.’ (pg 181)
‘And let me emphasize that you can’t make the corpse yourself.’ (pg 188)
‘Nice bird, arsehole.’ (pg 214)
‘So eat hemp and shit rope, Bondsmage.’ (pg 214)
‘Gods! You’re quiet!’ ‘Not all the time,’ Locke stepped to within a few feet of the larger boy. ‘I can be very loud, when I’m being stupid.’ (pg 234)
‘Beer now, bitch later.’ (pg 251)
‘That fucker,’ Jean’s hands balled into fists. ‘I could do so much to him, without killing him. I very much hope I get to try.’ (pg 251)
‘There are a few things I want to ask him[the Grey King]. Philosophical questions. Like, “How does it feel to be dangled out a window by a rope tied around your balls, motherfucker?”’ (pg 275)
‘This is a fantastically silly moment to start giving a shit.’ (pg 276)
‘Hold it!’ Locke cried, waving both of his hands. ‘Whoa! I know what this looks like, but you’ve got the wrong idea, friend.’ He pointed at the petrified woman clinging to the hanging bed. ‘She came before we came!' (pg 280)
‘For the love of the gods, madam,’ snapped Locke, ‘can you please pick one man in your bedroom to cheer for and stick with him?’ (pg 280)
‘It’s not polite to hit girls.’ ‘It’s even less polite to hit my friends.’ (pg 308)
‘Many things are commonly thought, but perhaps not commonly thought all the way through.’ (pg 319)
‘Calo and Galdo lay beside it, on their backs, staring up in the semi-darkness. Their throats were slashed from ear to ear, a pair of smooth gashes - identical twin wounds.’ (pg 342)
‘The things I could do to you if I were to stitch your true name.’ (pg 343)
‘You brave little idiot. You brave, stupid little bastard. This is my fault, Bug, please... please say this is all my fault.' (pg 346)
‘I promise you a death-offering, brothers,’ Locke whispered when he’d finished. ‘I promise you an offering that will make the gods take notice. An offering that will make the shades of all the Dukes and Capas of Camorr feel like paupers. An offering in blood and gold and fire. This I swear by Aza Guilla who gathers us, and by Perelando who sheltered us, and by the Crooked Warden who places his finger on the scale when our souls are weighed. This I swear to Chains, who kept us safe. I beg forgiveness that I failed to do the same.’ (pg 348)
‘I’ll do more than that. Whatever he’s planning, I will unmake it. Whatever he desires, I will destroy it. Every reason you came down here to murder my friends will evaporate. Every Grey King’s man will die for nothing, starting with you.’ (pg 349)
‘When you see the Crooked Warden,’ said Locke, twisting something in his hands, ‘tell him that Locke Lamora learns slowly, but he learns well. And when you see my friends, you tell them that there are more of you on the way.’ (pg 350)
‘I’m only good at breaking people; I don’t put them back together.’ (pg 385)
‘You have a plan?’ ‘No,’ said Locke. ‘Not even a speck of one. Not the damnedest idea. But don’t all my better schemes start like this? I’ll find an opening, somehow… and then I suppose I’ll be rash.’ (pg 398)
‘Crooked Warden,’ he whispered, ‘I’m going into this counting house and I’m going to come out with what I need. I’d like your aid. And if I don’t get it, well, to hell with you. I’ll come out with what I need anyway.’ (pg 402)
‘You’re bleeding hard, Tannen. You won’t live out the night, you fucking bastard.’ ‘That’s Gentleman Bastard,’ he said. ‘And there’s a chance I won’t. But you know what? Calo and Galdo Sanza are laughing at you, bitch.’ (pg 440)
‘...I’d be very curious to hear just where I fucked up and tipped you off.’ (pg 470)
‘I am the Idiot King,’ he muttered, ‘of all the world’s fucking idiots.’ (pg 470)
‘That shape you saw, darting out from the tower? Bird. Biggest gods-damned bird you ever saw… It was a bird, right?’ ‘Biggest gods-damned bird we ever saw.’ (pg 472)
‘Locke smiled the cruellest smile he’d ever worn in his entire life as he rose to his feet.’(pg 479)
‘Just one question, you arrogant fucking cocksucker,’ said Locke. ‘I’ll grant the Lamora part is easy to spot… But what the fuck,’ he said slowly, ‘ever gave you the fucking idea that Locke was the first name I was actually born with?’ (pg 480)
‘I’m not going to kill you,’ said Locke. ‘I’m going to play a little game I like to call “Scream in pain until you answer my fucking questions.”’ (pg 481)
‘Because I tied that Bondsmage to the floor just an hour or two ago...I cut off his fingers to get him to talk, and when he’d confessed everything I wanted to hear, I had his fucking tongue cut out, and the stump cauterized… I called him an arsehole, too. He didn’t like that.’ (pg 497)
‘Aza Guilla,’ Locke whispered, ‘give me justice for the death of my friends. Give me blood for the death of my brothers.’ (pg 515)
‘I don’t have to beat you, motherfucker. I just have to keep you here… until Jean shows up.’ (pg 517)
‘So this is revenge.’ ‘It is.’ ‘It’s a shit business.’ (pg 519)
‘Some day, Locke Lamora,’ he said, ‘some day, you’re going to fuck up so magnificently, so ambitiously, so overwhelmingly that the sky will light up and the moons will spin and the gods themselves will shit comets with glee. And I just hope I’m still around to see it.’ ‘Oh, please,’ said Locke. ‘It’ll never happen.’ (pg 521)

Along  U.S. Route 385, NE (No. 1)
U.S. Route 385 (US 385) is a part of the United States Numbered Highway System that travels from Big Bend NationalPark in Texas to US 85 in Deadwood, South Dakota. Within the state of Nebraska, the highway is known as the Gold Rush Byway, one of nine scenic byways across the state. The highway follows along the old Sidney-Black Hills trail which played a crucial role during the Black Hills Gold Rush in the late 1870s. It served as the primary route to transport gold and mining gear between Sidney, Nebraska and the Black Hills to the north. Today, the highway enters Nebraska in the southeastern portion of the Nebraska Panhandle on the state line with Colorado northeast of Julesburg and continues in a northerly direction to the South Dakota state line north of Chadron.
US 385 was an original entry in the initial development of the US Highway System in 1926. It originally ran from Comfort, Texas to Raton, New Mexico and did not come near Nebraska. In 1935, most of the routing of US 385 was resigned as US 87.The current incarnation of US 385 was commissioned in 1959 bringing the highway into Nebraska along the new alignment that stretched from Big Bend all the way to Deadwood, South Dakota in the Black Hills.
US 385 travels south to north through the Nebraska Panhandle which has been part of the state since it was acquired in 1803 as part of the vast Louisiana Purchase. Much of inland Nebraska, including the Panhandle became important regions for overland travel via horse and wagon. This included the California, Mormon, and Oregon trails as well as the Pony Express route which passed through the region. Settlers to Nebraska were mostly farmers, but the discovery of gold in Wyoming in 1859 sent a rush of speculators westward across the state.
In 1874, during the Black Hills Expedition led by Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer, the discovery of gold in the region sparked the Black Hills Gold Rush. As prospectors located valuable sources of gold along Deadwood and Whitewood Creeks, thousands more prospectors entered the area looking to stake their claim. In April, 1876, a gold outcropping was discovered near Lead, South Dakota. This gold claim became the Homestake Mine and was the primary source of the placer gold being mined from the surrounding area. Over the next century, ten percent of the world's gold supply would come from this site.
Sidney, Nebraska became an important city during the gold rush. It was an optimal starting point for gold prospectors. It was adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad and on established trails from the east, as well as to the north via the Sidney-Black Hills Trail. The trail was also preferred as it was shorter and through less treacherous terrain than trails to the west. The construction of Camp Clarke Bridge over the North Platte River in 1876, three miles west of modern-day Bridgeport also boosted its appeal. This allowed prospectors and freight to arrive via rail and continue north into the Black Hills with relative ease. The bridge contained sixty-one wooden trusses and spanned nearly 2,000 feet (610 m). Tolls ranged between $2 and $6 per wagon and up to $10 for heavy freight wagons.
While prospectors flooded the area, along with them came those who would service the nascent mining industry. This included stagecoach lines that traveled between Sidney and the Black Hills carrying freight and passengers. Sometimes stagecoaches would depart Sidney for Deadwood three times each day. Conditions on the stagecoaches were usually cramped as upwards of sixteen people could be carried at a time. Between 1874 and 1880 most of the supplies and freight coming to and from the gold camps traveled this trail. Thousands of stagecoaches and wagons are estimated to have traveled the route during this time. At the peak of the gold rush in 1878 and 1879, fifty to seventy-five freight wagons left Sidney every day and an estimated 22-million pounds of freight traveled along the trail.
Each week, gold was shipped out of the Black Hills to Sidney, sometimes with daily loads approaching $200,000 in value (equivalent to $4.7 million in 2018). It was during this time that stagecoach robberies became frequent occurrences. This became such a problem that the Gilmer and Salisbury stage lines manager, Luke Voorhees, attempted to capture the bandits to prevent loss of business along the route. When that wasn't enough, in 1878, he enlisted the help of Concord stagecoach builders, Abbot-Downing Company, to manufacture an armored stagecoach to withstand attacks. These armored stagecoaches were lined with half inch steel, portholes for windows and outfitted with an 800-pound steel safe accompanied by six to eight armed guards. Throughout three years of service, the armored stagecoach, nicknamed "Old Ironsides" was only robbed once.
In 1880, a railroad between Chicago and Pierre, South Dakota severely damaged the freight business in Sidney. As the faster northerly route became preferred, freight companies moved their business to Pierre, mostly returning Sidney to the quieter times before the Gold Rush.

A Second Decade of Movies
Ten years ago on Facebook, I compiled a list of every movie I watched, in order, from the first decade of the network’s existence. Now, here’s part two, covering the years 2010-2019. There are 754 titles below, though some are repeat viewings. The movie I watched the most? Harold Lloyd in “The Freshman.” My favorite movie from the last decade? “The Tree of Life.”
But I began the 2010s with James Cameron’s mega-hit “Avatar.” I’ll go on record saying the movie is still enjoyable ten years later, as I watched it again in 2019 with my kids to prep for visiting the World of Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But--I also agree with those who say there’s little remembered from the film in the culture today. Can you name the stars? Recount the plot in detail? Mostly what we remember from the film is the spectacle of it all, game-changing when it was released in 2009.
At any rate, enjoy the list below! If a title is hotlinked, it will take you to an essay, interview, or related coverage on the film by yours truly.

THE COMPANIONS OF THE PROPHET (PBUH) : Abdullah bin Zubayr (r.a.)
Abdullah was the son of Hz. Abu Bakr's daughter Asma and Zubayr bin Awwam, who was one of the ten Companions that were given the glad tidings of Paradise. He was the first child born out of muhajirs after the Migration. He was born in the 1st year of the Migration. His birth made all Muslims very happy. The Muslims celebrated it as if it was a feast day. They uttered "Allahu akbar!" Their joy was due to revealing the lies of the Jews. For, they said to muhajirs, "We cast a spell over you; you will not have children anymore."
The Prophet gave him the name "Abdullah". Then, he wanted a date fruit. He chewed him and put it into Abdullah's mouth. Thus, the first food to enter the stomach of this beloved baby was the date from the blessed mouth of the Messenger of Allah. Then, the Prophet prayed for the blessing of Abdullah.
Both Hz. Zubayr and Asma did their best to raise him in the best way. When he was seven, they took him to the Prophet for allegiance. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) accepted his allegiance by smiling.
Hz. Abdullah ended the period of childhood and became a youth during the caliphate of Hz. Abu Bakr. He proved himself during the caliphate of Hz. Umar. He fought heroically during the caliphate of Hz. Umar and Hz. Uthman.
Abdullah did not expect any worldly interest or return for his service. He always based his deeds solely on the consent of Allah.
During the caliphate of Hz. Uthman, the Islamic armies were conquering cities and towns in various places. The conquests in North Africa were led by Abdullah bin Abi Sarh, the Governor of Egypt with 40 thousand mujahids. The Islamic armies reached Tripoli with magnificent triumphs; they confronted the resistance of the Byzantine army of 120,000 people. The Muslims continued their heroic struggle against the Romans in the battle that lasted for days. The battles continued violently. The battle that started every day at dawn lasted only until noon; then, the soldiers of both sides returned to their tents in a weak and exhausted way.
Gregorias, the commander of the Byzantine army, was very sad because he could not defeat the Muslims or make them retreat in spite of having more soldiers. Suddenly, a clever idea came to his mind. He would marry his daughter off to a person who would kill Abdullah bin Abi Sarh, the commander of the Muslims. In addition, he would give to that person a reward of 100 thousand gold coins. Meanwhile, his daughter was fighting with him.
This news of reward encouraged Greek youths. They attacked Abdullah bin Abi Sarh. They could not kill him but they inflicted many casualties. Meanwhile, Abdullah bin Zubayr, who came to help Abdullah bin Abi Sarh with a small unit, said to the commander,
"Promise the same thing to your soldiers. Promise 100 thousand gold coins, the daughter of Gregorias and the governorship of North Africa to the soldier who would kill Gregorias."
The commander of the Islamic army found this offer appropriate.
The next day Abdullah bin Zubayr became the commander. Hz. Abdullah was a good commander. He practiced a nice strategy. He divided the soldiers into two groups. While one group continued fighting, the other group would rest in their tents.
The plan was put into practice. The first group continued until noon. When they retreated, the second group, who were fit and energetic, came to the battlefield. The Romans were very tired. They could not resist the mujahids and were defeated. Meanwhile, Abdullah bin Zubayr captured Gregorias and killed him. He enslaved his daughter.
After the war was over, it was time to share the booty. The daughter of Gregorias and 100 thousand gold coins were going to be given to Abdullah bin Zubayr, who deserved them. Abdullah did not accept them. He said, "No. I made jihad for my religion, not for worldly possessions. I expect my reward from Allah."
Abdullah bin Abi Sarh, the commander, sent Abdullah bin Zubayr to Hz. Uthman to give him the glad tidings of victory and to deliver the booty. After a tiring journey, Hz. Abdullah arrived in Madinah; he told to the Caliph of Islam and other Muslims about the victory of Islam with all its splendor, but he did not speak of himself even in one word. However, they later found out about the self-sacrificing and heroic deeds of Abdullah in this battle. The fact that he did not mention himself elevated his rank more in the eyes of the Muslims. [ Mustadrak, 3: 547-548. ]
Abdullah bin Zubayr did not want to change the service of holy jihad with temporary and ephemeral pleasures and worldly things and ranks; he did not sacrifice the eternal fruits of the hereafter for the pleasures of the world. He found it contrary to the principles of sincerity to expect  to be appreciated, liked and applauded by people let alone obtaining some worldly benefits and interests for the material and spiritual jihad, which needs to be done for the sake of Allah.
Hz. Abdullah was a scholar of the Companions. He was one of the famous "Four Abdullahs". He narrated a few hadiths from the Prophet. One of these hadiths is as follows:
“If man were to be given a valley full of gold, he would desire to have another. If he were given two, he would seek the third.  Nothing can fill his mouth except the earth (dust). Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of a person who turns to Him.”[ Usdul-Ghaba, 1: 163. ]
Hz. Abdullah offered advice to the public at every opportunity. In a season of Hajj, he made the following speech:
"O people! You come from various countries as guests of Allah. Allah entertains His guests in the best way. Whoever comes with the purpose of obtaining rewards should know that Allah will not turn away a person who is at His door. Confirm your words with your deeds. For, what is essential is what you have done. The intention is also the intention of the heart. Avoid opposing Allah in this blessed day because these days are the days when sins are forgiven. "[ al-Hilya, 1: 337. ]
Hz. Abdullah fulfilled the duty of conveying the message of Islam by both speaking and sending letters. He wrote the following letter to a friend:
"My brother! There are some signs of pious people. People know them from those signs. Those signs are patience in the face of misfortunes, consent to qadar (destiny), thanking for boons, and obeying the commands of the Quran and avoiding its prohibitions. "[ Hayatus-Sahaba, 3: 354; al-Hilya, 1: 336. 5. ibid, 3: 385. ]
Everything he saw reminded him of Allah. When he heard the thunder, he would say, "I glorify Allah, whom clouds and angels glorify out of fear, and acquit Him of all incomplete qualities.” He said it was a great threat to the people of the earth.
In addition to these virtues, Hz. Abdullah was a good administrator. After Yazid's death, he was chosen the caliph in Makkah when most of the Muslims paid allegiance to him. The Muslims of Hejaz, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt and Khorasan regarded him worthy of this duty and paid allegiance to him. He ruled in Makkah with justice for a few years.
However, Abdulmalik bin Marwan, who captured the Umayyad government, sent Hajjaj, who became known with the name “the Oppressor” in history, against Abdullah with an army in 72 H. Hajjaj set up a catapult on Mount Abu Qubays and threw stones at the Kaaba. Hz. Abdullah defended the Kaaba heroically. However, many of his men were deceived by Hajjaj through various promises. Finally, they martyred Hz. Abdullah. Hajjaj, the oppressor, did not find it enough and hanged Abdullah. He stood against this martyr and insulted him. Then, he cut off his head and sent it to Damascus.

One question, in what order would you watch the One Piece episodes, movies and OVAs?
Alright, this is my order:
One Piece Episode 0
One Piece Episodes 1-8
One Piece OVA: Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack
One Piece Episodes 9-18
One Piece Movie 1: The Movie 2000
One Piece Episodes 19-53
One Piece Special 1: Adventure in the Ocean’s Navel
One Piece Movie 2: Clockwork Island Adventure
One Piece Featurette 1: Jango’s Dance Carnival
One Piece Episodes 54-91
One Piece Movie 3: Chopper’s Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals
One Piece Featurette 2: Dream Soccer King
One Piece Episodes 92-130 (And theoretically One Piece Movie 8: Episode of Alabasta: The Desert Princess and the Pirates could fit in here as well since Alabasta lasts from episodes 92-130 and Movie 8 is a retelling of the Alabasta arc)
One Piece Episodes 131-138.
One Piece Special 2: Once Upon the Great Sea! A Father’s Huge, HUGE Dream
One Piece Episodes 139-143.
One Piece Movie 4: Dead End Adventure
One Piece Movie 5: The Cursed Holy Sword
One Piece Featurette 3: Take Aim! The Pirate Baseball King
One Piece Episodes 144-219
One Piece Special 3: Protect! The Last Great Performance
One Piece Episodes 220-227
One Piece Movie 6: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island
One Piece Movie 7: The Giant Mechanical Soldier of Karakuri Castle
One Piece Special 4: The Detective Memoirs of Chief Straw Hat Luffy
One Piece Episodes 228-325
One Piece Episodes 326-384
One Piece OVA: Romance Dawn Story
One Piece Episodes 426-429 (I’m putting these right here since they act as a prelude to Strong World which’ll be next on this list)
One Piece Movie 10: Strong World
One Piece Movie 11: 3D Straw Hat Chase
One Piece Featurette 4: ONE PIECE 3D! Trap Coaster
One Piece Episodes 385-516
One Piece 3D2Y: Overcome Ace’s Death!
One Piece Episodes 517-574
One Piece Episodes 575-578 (The Z-Ambition Arc which acts like a prelude to Film Z)
One Piece OVA: Glorious Island
One Piece Movie 12: Film Z
One Piece Special 6: Episode of Luffy: Adventure on Hand Island
One Piece Movie 9: Episode of Chopper Plus: Bloom in Winter, Miracle Sakura (Now the reason I’m putting this right here is because the 2014 re-adaptation had this OVA as a dream that Chopper had post-timeskip which can explain the Thousand Sunny, Robin, Franky and Second Gear on Drum Island)
One Piece Episodes 579-Current
One Piece: Heart of Gold
One Piece Film Gold Episode 0
One Piece Film Gold
(And the reason I’m putting these three at the bottom is because I feel given how everything in the timeline is, it’d make more sense for these events to have taken place after the events of WCI. With Sanji being gone, Doflamingo defeated being references, Sabo’s Flame Flame fruit abilities and so on and so forth.)
Alright, hope this helps! ^_^

The sounds of the forest were drowned out as the blood rushed through her veins, thumping in her ears. The harsh, ragged breaths burned her lungs as they struggled to expand and let in new oxygen. The ground below her pounding feet flew by as Y/N pressed on.
She gasped for breath, looking around frantically and there was nothing but an expanse of forest in any direction. I’m fucking screwed, was the only thought as she changed direction, trying to throw the newly turned wolf off her scent, leaving blood in one spot, only to change direction once more. Y/N repeated the process until she had left enough blood and false trails to confuse an entire nest of vampires. Come to think of it, she thought, vamps would be a welcome change to this fresh Hell.
Y/N paused only momentarily to ease the cramp in her side and tighten the belt around her wounded arm in an attempt to stem the bleeding. She knew she needed to get out of there, but wasn’t sure which direction was which anymore. Pulling her phone out, she was shocked to find a faint signal.
Y/N thumbed out a quick message to the best hunters she knew and prayed for the best.
Need assistance with new wolf. BHNF between Sturgis and Deadwood. I think. Wounded but alive. Y/N/N
She waited a few moments after she hit send, not wanting to risk losing the signal, but the howl that echoed off the surrounding forest forced Y/N to stow the phone and head in what she hoped was the correct direction of her car.
Sam flipped on the table lamp and stared at the flashing green light. He unlocked the phone and blinked away the sleep. He knew from experience that a text or call at two in the morning was never a good thing. His thumb swiftly opened your text and his eyes widened at the words and his heart thumped wildly in his chest. He blindly typed his reply:
Just finished salt n burn in Custer. On our way. Be safe. Sam
“Dean,” Sam’s voice broke the quiet of their motel room and he flipped on the lights, causing Dean to grumble.
“Dean, I just got a text from Y/N. She is about an hour north and in trouble. We have to go.” Sam explained, his voice frantic as he threw his belongings into his duffle.
“Got it. I’ll be ready in ten,” Dean threw back the covers and moved quickly.
Within fifteen minutes, they were packed, fueled up and filling their stomachs with old gas station coffee and stale donuts. Dean gunned it north on 385.
“Dean, watch the road; we don’t want to hit a buffalo,” Sam advised.
“Buffalo? Like ‘Tatanka’ buffalo?” Dean’s faced scrunched up in disgust when he realized what kind of damage an animal the size of a buffalo could do to his Baby and flipped on the high beams.
“Dude, you just quoted ‘Dances With Wolves’,” Sam shook his head in disbelief at his brother.
“What? It was a historical movie and it had horses, just like a good western!” Dean protested.
“Anyway,” Sam’s exaggerated pft bounced off the dash. “I was able to track her phone from where she texted me. She is only about a mile west of Deadwood. She said it was a new wolf. So something in Deadwood or nearby is playing with their food.”
“Deadwood? Like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane Deadwood?” Dean perked up.
“Pull up, Dude! Our friend is in trouble and I need you to focus,” Sam lectured.
“Right, sorry. New wolf, Y/N, Deadwood. You said about a mile west. So we’ll start there,” Dean recounted the info Sam had given him and pressed harder on the gas.
“She said she’s wounded, Dean. What if we don’t get there in time? What i-” Sam babbled.
“Sammy, you can’t think like that. She is one of the smartest hunters we know, smarter than me for sure. She’ll be just fine. We will find her, take out the wolf and you can nurse her back to health. It’s about time we invite her to the Bunker anyway,” Dean insinuated, looking sideways at his brother.
“Dean, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Sam denied.
“Sam, she is even smarter than you,” Dean laughed.
“You’re going to have to go straight into Deadwood, then head west on 14, there is a Kamground of America about a mile outside of town that is close to where she was last,” Sam directed.
~*~
Dean pulled into the back of the lot at Deadwood KOA and they grabbed their gear, ensuring their guns were loaded with silver bullets. Sam checked his GPS one more time before they headed into the wilderness surrounding the campground.
“The KOA is only about two thousand feet from her last known location,” Sam estimated as they hiked through the darkness on foot. Ninety minutes had passed since her first text and he hadn’t heard from her since. He internalized his fears for her and trekked on with his brother.
“Sam!” Dean called out. “Look, blood.”
“It’s still fresh, Dean. Come on, we need to find her,” Sam demanded as he started scanning the ground and trees for any other signs of her. He and Dean searched the area, finding more blood and that was when Sam finally figured it out.
“She backtracked to hide her trail, leaving her scent everywhere,” Sam marveled at her genius. He closed his eyes and took slow, deliberate breaths, letting his mind empty of all thoughts but what he would do next if he was in her boots. He turned around, opened his eyes and looked again; maybe there was something he was missing.
They were enclosed with trees on every side of them, no trail in sight. Sam surveyed the trees that had the most blood on them, but one had more than others. He shined his light up the bark toward first few branches, taking note that several were broken or cracked. His heart pounded with hope as he shone the light farther up the branches and there she was. Her body was prone over one of the larger branches.
“Dean! I got her!” Sam’s voice quaked and Dean ran to him. There was a small spattering of blood at the base of the tree. She was injured and they needed to get her down.
The nearest intact branch was about ten feet above ground, but Sam couldn’t reach it. Dean braced himself and Sam stepped into his brother’s handhold. With a push of force, Dean was able to boost Sam high enough so he could grab the branch and pull himself up.
Sam climbed the next few branches until he reached Y/N. He shook his head at her genius; she had strapped herself to the tree branch using her belt. Sam quickly checked her for injuries, but before he could wake her, his attention was drawn below him as the wolf had found them and thrown Dean against the tree, knocking him out cold. “Shit.”
Sam carefully drew his weapon, bracing himself on the branches above and below, taking aim. “Hey, Spot!” That got the newborn’s attention and Sam fired once, hitting the beast in the face, dropping it to the ground next to his brother. Sam unloaded two more rounds to the heart.
“Sam?” Y/N was groggy and Sam’s face blurred in her vision. “Am I dead?”
“Not today, Y/N/N. Not on my watch. Let’s get you down from here, okay? You think you can help me help you?” Sam questioned as she sat up.
“Um, yeah, I think so. Just, go slow, okay?” she cautioned.
“No worries there. I was counting on Dean to help me get you down, but he’s out cold, so slow and easy it is,” Sam agreed.
Sam asked questions about the case as they made their way down. “Was it just the one werewolf, Y/N?”
“There were two, and I got the first one. I didn’t know about the second, but it was new, the sire must have turned it just this cycle,” she theorized as she sat on the bottom branch. Sam was on the ground and checked on Dean. “I think they were targeting the bike rally in Sturgis.”
“Okay, Y/N, I am going to need you to jump, but you have my word; I will catch you,” Sam promised.
“You better, Winchester,” she groaned and let herself slide off the last branch, landing neatly in Sam’s arms, her own tight around his neck.
“You caught me,” she looked up at him, her eyes hazy, then passed out. Sam laid her on the ground next to Dean as he dug a grave to bury the body.  Dean woke up first and they decided to get going.
Dean was well enough to walk on his own as Sam carried Y/N back to the Impala. Even with the bike rally in full swing in nearby Sturgis, the trio was able to find a vacancy at the Gold Dust Casino and Hotel, although they paid three times what the room was worth.
Dean grabbed the first shower, giving Sam time to clean and stitch up Y/N’s arm. The cuts weren’t all that deep, but ran the entire length of the inside of her forearm and she was passed out again by the time he finished. Sam cleaned the wound once more for good measure, then bandaged it up. He retrieved a clean wash rag from the bathroom and a pitcher of warm water and set to cleaning the dirt, grime and blood from her face.
He paused as each swipe of the cloth revealed her natural beauty to him. Her long black lashes cast shadows over her cheeks where her color was returning, a rosy pink in her skin. Y/N’s lips were slightly chapped, but he still pondered what they would feel like against his. He imagined they were soft and sweet, like the honey butter he preferred on his pancakes. He ran his thumb against her bottom lip, when she sighed, her lips parting slightly, then gasped as she bolted upright.
Sam jumped back from her, “Welcome back, Y/N/N. You gotta quit doing that.”
“Doing what?” she puzzled.
“Passing out on me. That’s twice now. But uh, um, you’re good to go; all patched up,” Sam stammered, as he bumbled the supplies.
“Thank you, Sam,” she laid her good arm on his shoulder, making him tense up and swallow hard. “For, well, for everything.” She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek, watching as a blush crept up his neck and spread over his face.
“You’d do the same for us, Y/N,” he replied.
Dean sauntered back in the room with a few pastries and three cups of coffee. “Hey, you’re up! So, I was thinking, you should probably come back to the Bunker with us. We’ve got plenty of room and you gotta give that arm some time to heal up. Isn’t that right, Sammy?”
“Yeah, don’t want to rip open those stitches. And sure, we got room,” Sam added with a shrug, staring at his brother, silently telling him to fuck off. Dean just grinned like a fool because he got Sam’s message loud and clear.
“That would be great, thank you both. I, uh, just need to get my car. It is parked off 14 about three miles west of here,” Y/N stated.
“No problemo. We can drive there, then Sammy here can drive it back for ya; rest that arm,” Dean shoved a pastry in his mouth and continued to smile.
Sam spent the entire drive back to the Bunker sparing sideways glances at Y/N when she wasn’t looking. He had been such an idiot. He shouldn’t have allowed himself to get too close. He needed to keep his cool. Between him and Dean, Sam was the level headed one; he always thought things through before acting on them and there he was, ready to lean in and kiss her. God this is going to be a long week filled with cold showers.
~*~
“Sam!” Y/N’s voice echoed through the Bunker and Sam took off at a sprint toward the kitchen, gun drawn.
“Y/N?!” Sam shouted for her.
“Hey, there you are! Can you get me that olive oil off the top shelf, please?” she asked so sweetly, but what caught Sam’s attention was the state of her clothing, or lack thereof. She was wearing short shorts, that barely covered her rear and a tank top so tight, it left little to the imagination, but that didn’t stop Sam from using his…
“Uh, um, yeah. Here ya go,” Sam easily reached the oil and passed it down to her, getting a good look at her displayed cleavage. Sam, stumbled over his own feet in a rush to get out of there. He decided multiple showers per day were perfectly acceptable.
~*~
Y/N walked into the library one afternoon, finding Sam alone at his laptop, no doubt looking for another case. “Hey, Sam?”
‘Hmmm?” Sam looked up briefly from his screen.
“I wanted to cook for you guys tonight, but Dean is doing an oil change on my car. Would you mind driving me to the market so I can get some fresh vegetables? I know you prefer them over the processed, grease filled dinners Dean normally makes,” she remarked.
“You’re right about that. Just give me a few and we will head out, okay?” Sam agreed.
Y/N stepped closer to Sam, placing her hand next to his on the table. Her breasts brushed his arm as she leaned into him a little. “So, you find us a case?”
“Uh, no, um, just doing some research for another hunter. You’re not ready to go out yet and, I, uh, we, wanted to wait until you were fully healed,” Sam’s breath faltered as his words tumbled nervously from his mouth. His eyes remained locked on the screen, not daring to meet her gaze. Her hot breath fanned across his cheek and the open collar of his flannel, littering his skin with goosebumps.
“I need to take a shower before we leave,” Sam pushed back from the table abruptly, almost racing to the bathroom. Y/N took his vacated seat, propping her feet up on the table, a satisfied smile on her face.
~*~
“Sam, do you prefer asparagus or brussel sprouts? I have an amazing balsamic that would pair nicely with either,” Y/N inquired sweetly as she looked up at the tall hunter, her eyes shining bright in the sunshine of the open air market.
“Oh, um, asparagus, I guess,” Sam couldn’t take his eyes off her. The way the sun lit up her hair, setting the strands ablaze as they danced on the breeze. She brushed them from her face and loosely tucked them behind her ear, tugging one corner of her lower lip with her teeth.
“I agree, we have everything I think I’ll need,” she looked over their purchases, paid for the asparagus and handed it to Sam, her fingertips lightly brushing his as she removed her hand.
~*~
“Sam!” Y/N called for him from the library late one evening.
“Yeah, Y/N/N?” Sam asked as he rounded the corner from the kitchen hall. She was standing on her tip toes, legs bare and wearing nothing but one his red flannels. His breath was punched out of his lungs at the sight of her and his pants were suddenly too tight in a certain spot.
“Can you reach that book for me, please? I wanted to read it before bed tonight and I just can’t get my hands around it,” she giggled, the soft sounds floating through the library and straight to his groin.
“Um, sure, no problem,” Sam tripped over his words for the second time that day with her. He reached up and easily snatched the book she wanted, handing it over swiftly, almost dropping it. “I am going to hit the showers and turn in. Good night, Y/N.”
“Thank you, Sam. Good night,” she replied, a silvery lilt to her voice as watched him rush from the room.
~*~
“Sam!” Y/N called through the empty hallway.
“Y/N?” Sam rounded the corner to the shower room and stopped dead in his tracks in the doorway. Y/N was standing in the middle of the room, hair dripping onto her ample chest, wrapped in a towel, that didn’t cover as much as it should.
“Sam, I need your help?” she murmured. “I need to put a new bandage on and I am just all thumbs with my left hand.” She coyly pulled her bottom lip between her teeth and looked up at him through her lashes. “I wouldn’t want it to get infected.”
“Uh, sure. Right, let me just get those bandages,” Sam turned on his heel but she placed her hand on his arm to stop him.
“I have them here,” she turned her back to Sam, bending down to grab them from the bench when her towel fell away completely, leaving her fully exposed to Sam when she turned to face him. “Here.”
Sam’s brain told him to look away, but the way his cock was twitching in his jeans, he was torn on his current moral course of action. He turned around instead. “Your, um, towel, Y/N.”
“Sam, you know for a clever boy, you can be pretty stupid,” she laughed, her lilt echoing off the tiled walls.
“Um, what are you talking about?” Sam babbled.
“Sam, I have been hitting on you constantly since I got here. And don’t try to tell me you’re not interested; no one takes that many showers!” she teased.
Sam turned around, allowing himself to admire her in her natural state. “So you think I’m clever?”
Y/N took a step closer to him, but he was just out of her reach. “I also said you can be pretty stupid.”
Sam closed the gap, pulling her naked form to his body and crashing his lips to hers. He pressed his tongue against them, prodding for entrance which she granted, their lips slotting together as their tongues fought for dominance. Sam pulled back first, his breaths ragged.
“I was right,” Sam whispered.
“Right about what, Sam?” Y/N asked.
“Your lips do taste like honey butter,” Sam ducked his head down for another taste.

Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184:  third battle day of the `46 war is finally at an end.
(By Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184)
The third battleday of the `46 war is finally at an end.
The clans, some victorious, some blooded but not bowed and some more or less annihilated, must now put these battles behind them and cooperate against a threat to them all.
A huge army is headed towards us, already split into 60 task groups containing thousands of Mechs each.
Each task group is aimed at one specific clan. The good News is that if a clan defeats them in a timely fashion, there are some additional loot to be had.
That is in addition to what we got from the war of course.
The final scores of battle day 3 were:
Division 1
Warlock 87 - 11 Leviathan
Warlock won handsomely here, as expected.
Death's Collector's 87 - 34 Brotherhood of Arcane Dragons
The Collectors had a bit of a struggle, but not more than they could handle
Division 2
Northwind Dragons 70 - 59 Spirit of Bunny
The Dragons camne out on top, but the bunnies let them know they had been in a fight.
Death's Brethren 90 - 0 Smurf Heavy Cavalry
The Brethren get the prize for the most loopsided victory of this round.
Division 3
The Brotherhood-BlackWatch 37 - 6 Avengers of Bunny
Blackwatch won 6 out of seven engagements and were never threatened.
Myth & Legends: Blood Wolves 82 - 49 Slaughter House 5
The Wolves stayed the distance and had a clear victory
Division 4
Black Star Lycan Rangers 69 - 50 Black Star Knights
The Rangers years as a team was enough to offset the tonnage advantage of the Knights
Star League 71 - 41 Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows
The Unicorns gave a good Battle, but the Star League won in the end
Division 5
Heroes 71 - 83 Death's Revenge
The Heroes got a drubbing from Death here.
Alpha Legion 61 - 100 ***Raging Vengeance***
The Legionares got their war machine going toward the end, but it was to little and to late.
Guardians of Bunny 53 - 45 Heroes Support

Division 6

Phoenix beat the Dragons 2-1
Death's Disturbed Asylum 53 - 46 Emerald Dragons
The Dragons tried a late catch-up, but the asylants had a to big initial advantage
Smurf Platoon 45 - 26 ARMORED CORE
Armored Core aquitted themself well, but were still beaten by the Smurfs.
M&L B.C. 13th Armored Division 103 - 13 Defenders of Bunny
The Cats crushed the bunnies nearly 8 -1
Division 7
Black Star Bandits 36 - 0 Myth & Legends: NecroManiacs
The bandits won every engagement here

The Clowns was soundly beaten here
Karma 74 - 2 All Welcome
Karma got an almost unopposed win.
---- As some might remember, I tried to predict the winners for those who had niodes to spare for Nick`s wager.
At the time I mentioned that I usually get one or two predictions wrong. I got two wrong this time.
The first was a misjudgement of the relative strength of the Heroes and Death`s Revenge, and can be excused.
The second was worse. I mentioned Ronins as possible contenders to Kearneys Highlanders in div 9, but totally overlooked the Renegades in my final analysis, even though I had the numbers right in front of me. ---- As for those who are concerned about the the huge disparity in levels in the (Big) divisions. Here are the average strentt at the start of round one and the medals each team got:
Div1 ..............................……Warlock: 396 - Gold ...........................…….Leviathan: 385 - Bronze .............…….Death's Collector's: 357 - Silver Brotherhood of Arcane Dragons: 320 - Plastic

Div 10 ..........…….All Welcome: 25 - Plastic ............................Karma: 24 - Gold ......Insane Clown Posse: 24 - Bronze *Raging Vengeance 2.0*: 20 - Silver
The only division where the top got Gold, then 3 Silvers, then 3 Bronzes and finally plastic was Div 9.
Of the ten Golds, two went to the top-ranked clan (Div 1 and 9), and in the top four divisions (four clans) three Golds went to the third ranked clans.

Running (Jogging)
That is from the film Forrest Gump, when Forrest (played by Tom Hanks) pursues in scene after scene. The thought symbolized, in addition to other things, the start of the running rage that spread the nation over during the 1970s. From that point forward, running has caught the consideration of a great many Americans. A large number of street races and long distance races happen every year, and running is the 6th most famous exercise in the United States. Be that as it may, you don't have to run long distance races, or run ceaselessly for three or more years like Forrest, to pick up the advantages of running. Thirty minutes daily will do! Right now, will mention to you what all the complain is about. I'll audit the historical backdrop of running, how to begin, what to wear, legitimate stance, where to run, the dangers of running, and a couple of more statements from Forrest.
What is running?
Here's the Merriam-Webster word reference meaning of running: to go consistently by springing steps with the goal that the two feet leave the ground for a moment in each progression. That is the key: the two feet are noticeable all around without a moment's delay. During strolling, one foot is consistently on the ground. Running will be running gradually, and run is running quick. I'll examine both running and running right now.
What's the historical backdrop of running?
People began strolling and running some 4-6 million years prior when we developed and rose from each of the fours. Ten thousand years back, tracker gatherers like the Tarahumara Indians in Mexico, ran 15-75 miles per day on the chase. In any case, it was Pheidippides (490 BC), an old "day-sprinter," who set running up for life. Pheidippides is implied to have run 149 miles to convey the updates on the Persian arrival at Marathon to Sparta so as to enroll help for the fight. Researchers accept the tale of Pheidippides might be a fantasy (if the Athenians needed to send a pressing message to Athens, there was no motivation behind why they couldn't have sent a dispatcher riding a horse), yet the legend had legs (no play on words expected) and was the beginning of the cutting edge long distance race. It was the principal running of the long distance race (26 miles 385 yard) in the advanced Olympic Games of 1896 in Athens that celebrated Pheidippides' noteworthy run. All through the last piece of the nineteenth century, olympic style events, including running, assumed a noticeable position in the field of game. By the late 1800s, youngsters in school were contending in running races. In the twentieth century, it was the well known dark sprinter Jesse Owens who, in the 1936 Olympics in Nazi Germany, broke Hitler's fantasy about demonstrating the prevalence of the Aryan race by winning gold decorations in the 100-meter run, 200-meter run, and the 400-meter hand-off. More American were onlookers of running than they were members during the time of Jesse Owens, however that has changed in the previous 35 years. Sprinters like George Sheehan, Bill Rodgers, Jeff Galloway, Alberto Salazar, and Grete Waitz (victor of nine NYC long distance races from 1978-1988 and motivation to all ladies to get out there and run!) advanced going through their athletic achievement, and now running is emphatically a famous movement for practice just as for sport.

Vasyl Lomachenko goes through final public workout ahead of Luke Campbell bout
Vasyl Lomachenko goes through last training in York Hall as pound-for-pound king admits he & # 39; extra motivation & # 39; has for O2 Arena match against home favorite Luke Campbell
Vasyl Lomachenko takes over Luke Campbell in the O2 Arena on Saturday evening
Both hunters took part in a public training on Wednesday at York Hall
Campbell's trainer Shane McGuigan believes his man can defy all expectations

The great Vasyl Lomachenko returned to the homely surroundings of York Hall, Bethnal Green for his last public training before defending his unified world lightweight title in the more beneficial O2 arena this Saturday night.
Loma fought in the spiritual home of East End boxing a year after winning in London He second his second Olympic gold.
That visit was for a hybrid pro-am tournament – which of course he won – before embarking on his full professional career.
Vasyl Lomachenko received a roaring reception for his last public training in London
The pound-for-pound king makes his preparations before Luke Campbell picks it up
The British hunter insists he can beat Lomachenko on Saturday
Now the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, he enjoyed the pilgrimage and said: "I have memories of everything in London.
"At this place there were hundreds of Ukrainians roaring and waving the Ukrainian flag.
& # 39; Thank you to the one who came again tonight. They will be there again at the O2, but I expect that they will be in the minority by thousands of Englishmen who support their famous English boxer. No problem That gives me extra motivation. & # 39;
Lomachenko has found memories of London after his success as an amateur hunter
He showed his hand speed in various exercises, including hitting a ball attached to a string
Lomachenko also showed his coordination when he impressed spectators with his juggling skills
Lomachenko was welcomed by the York Hall rafters Londona also, which he did on Saturday & # 39; a pleasant fight & # 39; promised. Campbell made a similar promise when he briefly followed him into the ring.
Campbell and his new trainer Shane McGuigan tell each other that the Great Lomachenko & # 39; just another fight & # 39; is.
This is an exercise to strengthen Campbell's self-confidence before competing with the No 1 pound-for-pound hunter in the O2 arena on Saturday night in the London ring road.
Lomachenko is the extraordinary talent that won the world featherweight and super featherweight titles on its way to becoming the united world lightweight champion.
McGuigan says: & # 39; There is no point in going in there unless you think you can win. We believe that Luke has the size, the power, the experience now at 31 and especially the belief that he will beat the man who others think is unbeatable. & # 39;
Campbell admits that & # 39; a certain extra excitement generated by the public view of this as a huge fight and I enjoy the great opportunity & # 39; but adds: & # 39; I prepared anticipate this in the same way as I do for all my fights. & # 39;
The Ukrainian hunter shook hands with boxer Anthony Crolla side of the York Hall ring
Campbell has the size advantage and is convinced that he can deliver an exciting fight on Saturday n
Campbell's trainer Shane McGuigan (L) believes his husband has the experience of beating Lomachenko
McGuigan feeds that story, saying: & # 39; Luke is sometimes at the level of smaller opponents dragged, but when he is against an elite hunter, he brings out the best in him. That's what will happen Saturday night.
& # 39; We won't be surprised when Luke wins, but boxing will see it as the biggest upset by a British boxer since Lloyd Honeyghan went to America and the welterweight titles of the so-called unbeatable Donald Curry. & # 39;
While McGuigan is the psychological support of his hunter, Campbell helps his trainer come through personal grief similar to his own suffering two years ago.
Cambell's father died prematurely fourteen days before his previous world title fight, the loss to Jorge Linares. McGuigan's sister has just succumbed to cancer.
Campbell says: & We help each other. It's better for Shane than he has the big fight to think about in this sad time. & # 39;
Vasyl Lomachenko v Lakue Campbell in the O2 Arena will be broadcast live this Saturday evening on Sky Sports Box Office.
