Quiet Time 6/14

What am I feeling today?

Overwhelmed, there’s a lot of decisions that need to be made regarding surgery and I don’t know what’s the right choice. Also just feeling tired and numb, I think it’s because I’ve been so disconnected from the kingdom and my friends lately, I need to be around Godly people and people I love.

Psalm 11 NIV

(v. 4) “The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.”

Just a reminder that God is always aware of everything that we are doing. Nothing is hidden from Him and He is observing everyone (I also think that sometimes ppl can’t make the distinction between observing and interfering - He has given us free will and He watches what we do with said free will but will never take it away)

(v. 5) “The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion.”

I find it interesting that it only says that he examines the righteous (why only them I wonder) - as for the wicked, it says they love violence and I flip that onto myself in some of the content I consume, some of it is violent (thinking war movies or fantasy genre or even some action films) and it is something that I enjoy, I think I should reflect on that, what exactly appeals to me from that and does that point to any wickedness within me? Furthermore, it says that God hates the wicked with a passion! That’s a bold statement and really makes you think, I personally would not want to have God’s passionate hatred on me.

(v. 6-7) “On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.”

This is something I feel not everyone agrees with. Waiting on the Lord’s time and taking justice into our own hands. In Romans 12 it is said that vengeance belongs to the Lord because he will ensure righteous justice!

Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intent to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

RTO day na naman. And always excited na makita si gelu. Aga ko natulog the night before this day kasi sakit ng ulo ko. Still medyo masakit pagkagising pero medyo nawala naman nung naitulog ko na. Then ayun nagbreakfast kami together, nilibre ko siya kasi may utang ako sa kanya kasi 100% yung isang ESS niya haha. Then ayun nakita kami ni edu, alexa at andoy, issuuuueeeee. Then as always gusto namin hug isat isa kasi nga naman so close yet so far yung feeling haha. Then uwian na inintay niya ako sa 7-11. Small talks then nakita pa kami ni boss lek at fil(?). Then sobrang undecided namin if magstay kasi wala kami charger for tom. Sobrang di ako makapagdecided syempre torn ako. And not to think deeply I decided na umuwi kasi ako yung pinagdecide nya. And shit maling desisyon ginawa ko :(( not the decision na magugustuhan ko. Sobrang shit and feels shit :((.
