also the (very rightful) dig at phannies for the "don't cry craft" spamming like "we love all of our crafty audience that spread the message of this channel on all the other videos on the internet! everywhere! everybody enjoyed that!" is how creators who want to keep status have to address their audiences no matter how annoying or harmful they're being. thinking of the ajr line "stay out of politics, stay on the fence / stay out of all of it to keep half your fans" because like,, yeah if a creator ever expresses an opinion that declares their feelings on one side of an issue then they will lose support (smosh is a perfect example of a bunch of people never ever ever expressing an opinion if it could be considered controversial among their audience, like refusing to address the genocide happening right now and just taking their zionist member who the fans are mad at out of some videos to be like "shhhhh nothing to see here we don't know what you're talking about"), ESPECIALLY if that issue is the behaviour of their audience.

Every Copia Antichrist Theory Detail (That I Know Of)- Part One

So there's a theory going around that Papa Emeritus IV/Copia is going to become the Antichrist and have an 'evil' era after the Re-Imperatour is over, and honestly, I believe at the least that Copia is going to become the Antichrist. Here's every detail I've found and complied so far-

1. 666. In some of the stained glass windows that depict Copia, he has a 666 tattoo on his chest. This number also appears on his blue Papa robe and in the Call Me Little Sunshine music video. Normally, 666 is simply a number to represent evil, but in the Bible it's actually used to represent the upcoming Antichrist. This is probably the most solid piece of proof that Copia is going to become the Antichrist and what got me hooked on this theory in the first place. While 666 is stereotypically an 'evil' number, judging by how precise and knowledgable Tobias is, it's highly unlikely he added this number three times to Copia's character just for the aesthetic but none of the other Papas.

2. The Unholy Trinity. The 'Unholy Trinity' are the opposites of the Holy Trinity- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Unholy Trinity consists of Satan, the Beast aka the Antichrist, and the False Prophet. I and many others believe that Jim DeFroque of Jesus He Knows Me is the False Prophet giving his entire character is about giving people false hope and turning his back on what he preaches. So Satan is himself, Jim is the False Prophet, and Copia the Antichrist.

3. A Pale Horse. Copia is often depicted on a pale white horse. Especially in the Rats video, this is very obviously a reference to one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse- Death. Copia isn't just seen on a white horse in the Rats video but also on official Ghost merch as well. To top this off, the first three albums depict the birth, rise, and reign of the Antichrist. Opus Eponymous is about his birth, Infestissumam is about the presence of the Devil and the Antichrist, and Meliora is about the absence of God and the reign of the Antichrist. Then we get to Copia's first album Prequelle and it's about the Black Plague and death, aka the first horseman of the apocalypse. Then his second album Impera which is about the rise and fall of empires which takes place in modern day. So all the previous albums were about the birth and rise of the Antichrist, then we get to Copia's albums and it's about death and the rise and fall of empires, not centering about the Antichrist. Most likely because Copia, being the upcoming Antichrist, isn't writing and singing songs about himself.

4. White eyes. Everyone knows that the Emeritus family have one white eye and one green eye- a genetically inherited trait from Nihil. White eyes are symbolically used to represent power, heaven, supremacy, wealth, and leadership, and what's interesting about this is there are many hints pointing to Copia gaining two white eyes. First, the promotional artwork for the Imperatour and Re-Imperatour. The France, Europe, official Re-Imperatour, and the Kia Forum artwork all show one white and one green eye as normal. But then you get to the South America promotional artwork and his white eye is on the wrong side. It's on his right rather than his left as usual. Is this an artist's mistake- which, if it was, why would Tobias use it as often as he did on Instagram and not fix it- or is it showing two white eyes rather than one, considering you can't see the left side of his face in it? Second, Phantomime. The Phantomime cover shows Copia in a corpse-like pose with two glowing white eyes. This could again just be an artistic take, but it seems like an odd change nonetheless. And third, the Escape the Ministry game seems trivial and just like fun, but it actually holds many clues (more I'll go over later). For this point, the ending has a 'Thank you for celebrating Phantomime with us' note with a drawing of Papa IV in which he has two white eyes yet again. Once is an artist mistake, twice is a coincidence, but three times? Three different times Papa IV is shown with two white eyes instead of one? Very very odd. And why is this so important? Well, in the Infestissumam cover, the baby that represents the Antichrist has two white eyes.

5. Sister Imperator. In Chapter 3: Back On The Road, the three Emeritus brothers are killed- ordered by Sister Imperator- because they were doing unsatisfactory and so Copia could become Papa. She wants Copia to become Papa obviously because he's her son, but then goes on to say that she 'can't' call him Papa because of Nihil (and in 'Tomb It May Concern' calls him C). Is it really because of Nihil, or is it because she doesn't want him to meet the same fate as the other Emeritus brothers? Would she try to make him or at least encourage him to become the Antichrist in order to save him and so the Ministry can't kill him? She is the one, after all, to proudly announce to him that he's performing at the Kia Forum in Chapter 16: Tax Season, the show many people believe Copia is going to die at because it's the last show of the Re-Imperatour, recording is not allowed, and the line 'When the summer dies, severing the ties/I'm with you always, always' from Darkness at the Heart of My Love (and September 11th is days before the Fall Solstice, signaling the end of summer). Why would Sister sound so proud and happy of this if her son was going to die? Wouldn't she be happy and proud if her son were to say gain more power or survive the Ministry's- especially Nihil's- attempts to off him? Also, there's a line in the song Witch Image (from Prequelle) that goes 'But like a mother would save her own child from digging a grave'. Sister Imperator is trying to save Copia, not kill him. Becoming the Antichrist would seal his immortality and save him from the Ministry.

6. Alternatively, Saltarian. In the same chapter Tax Season, Saltarian is grinning at Copia while pushing the glass coffin. Saltarian for the most part has acted kind of aloof and hostile to Copia, except for in Chapter 13: The Beach Life where he invites Copia to his beach house, has some laugh with him, and talks to him about his European Summer Tour. Then in next chapter Road Trip, he tells Copia he 'knows when his time is up' which is very odd considering no one really knows who the Saltarian is. All we know is he's in the Clergy and works close with Sister and Nihil (and his name derives from the Italian word 'jump/leap', Saltare). But what I really want to focus on is the game Copia is playing in Tax Season. He's playing a driving game called Driving Miss Daisy which isn't a real game but a movie. The description of said movie is: "Daisy Werthan, an elderly Jewish widow living in Atlanta, is determined to maintain her independence. However, when she crashes her car, her son, Boolie, arranges for her to have a chauffeur, an African-American driver named Hoke Colburn. Daisy and Hoke's relationship gets off to a rocky start, but they gradually form a close friendship over the years, one that transcends racial prejudices and social conventions." Sounds kinda like Copia and Saltarian. So did Saltarian smile at him sinisterly and knowingly or did he smile at him because he wants to help him (from who I don't know- could be the Clergy or Sister if she wants Copia dead for whatever reason).

Shenanigans ensue when Jay takes the angel to the local mall to shop for this gift. Jay sat in the bathroom of Bear’s apartment, fiddling with a flip phone decorated with angel-themed stickers; apparently, it was the only way for Bear to contact his angel boyfriend, The Metatron, and summon him to Earth. It rarely left Bear’s sight, considering what might happen if it got into the wrong person’s hands, and though Jay felt a little bad about snatching it, he needed The Metatron’s advice.

“It would’ve been way helpful for you to keep his number written down somewhere, Bear,” he muttered to himself as he flipped the phone over in his hands. “What fuckin’ numbers would be associated with an angel?? 666??? No, that’s the devil…”

He opened the phone, his tongue sticking through his teeth as he thought hard, hesitating momentarily before beginning to punch in random numbers. Luckily, it seemed he struck the right combination shortly, for the phone began to glow with heavenly light.

“Yes!”

The Metatron appeared before him in his humanoid form but still displayed his wings, obviously expecting Bear as he knew they liked it when he hugged them and wrapped his wings around them…

“What is it dar… oh. It’s you,” his fond tone immediately became one of unimpressed surprise.

“Metatron, bro!” Jay hopped off the toilet, oblivious to the angel’s slight displeasure. “I’m so glad you weren’t busy, I really need your advice, man.”

The angel arched an eyebrow, folding his arms and his wings. “Whatever for?”

“So you know how Christmas is coming up? And Christmas Eve is Bear’s birthday, yeah?”

“I follow.”

“I have… no fucking clue what to get him! And Silent Bob won’t let me in on his plans, the sneaky bastard…”

“So I’m your last resort?” The Metatron clicked his tongue, rolling his eyes subtly. “Typical… why don’t you just ask him??”

“I tried, man, but his lips are sealed!”

The angel paused, quickly gathering Jay presumed he meant “ask Silent Bob.” He sighed, “No, I mean, why not ask Bear? Surely that is the most efficient course of action you can take.”

“Ohh! Well it’s not really much of a surprise then, is it??”

“Who says it has to be a surprise? In my experience, Bear is… well, I wouldn’t say a very straightforward individual, but he knows what he wants, really, just ask. You don’t need to be wasting my time with trivialities like this.”

Suddenly, a knock came at the door, followed by Bear’s voice. “Jay, are you done in there? I’m gonna have to take like, a mad piss soon, dude.”

“Just a second!” Jay then leaned in closer to the angel, whispering, “Come onn, dude, I don’t wanna disappoint him! Just meet me at the mall at five, alright??”

The Metatron gave him a flabbergasted look. “I am not meeting you at the mall at five.”

“Dude, we saved the world together! Does that mean nothing to you?!”

“Technically, it was Bethany Sloane’s actions that saved the world. You’re just a self-proclaimed prophet who helped her in her journey. Goodbye, Jay.” With that, the angel disappeared. Jay groaned and exited the bathroom.

“He’s gotta fuckin’ come…!” He grumbled to himself as he swapped places with Bear.

At five that evening, the usual posse arrived at their local mall; Jay, Silent Bob, Bear, and The Metatron, now hiding his wings. Jay sent Bear off with Silent Bob to the food court, then quickly began leading The Metatron around the numerous stores.

“I can’t believe I’m actually doing this. I’m the voice of God, for Christ’s sake…” The angel muttered. “I suppose this is the price I pay for falling in love with a human.”

Jay suddenly turned to him, fists raised. “Upset him and I’ll kick your fuckin’ ass.”

He raised his hands defensively. “I’m not complaining about loving Bear, I’m merely complaining about your mulishness! You really believe I would ever speak ill of him, I mean, I’m here, aren’t I, helping your indecisive arse?”

“I’m just sayin’!” Jay shoved his hands back into his pockets before doing a double take as they passed a lingerie store. “Do you think they’d like anything from there??”

The Metatron followed his gaze. “All you humans think about is sex appeal.” He then sighed and began approaching the store. “Doesn’t hurt to look around.”

After much putting down of Jay’s suggestions of new undergarments for their partner, the odd pair left the lingerie store in search of something less suggestive. They browsed Spencer’s, a used video game store, and even a personal care shop. Once Metatron had to physically drag Jay away from the mall’s arcade.

“Honestly, you’re worse than a child!” The angel scolded as Jay struggled for a moment in his grasp before The Metatron let go.

“You could’ve given me five more minutes, I was about to beat some jockstrap’s high score!”

“We don’t have five more minutes, the mall closes at nine and we still have to collect Bear and Silent Bob from wherever they may’ve wandered off to before we leave.”

Jay was about to retort when his jaw dropped as something in a nearby store caught his eye. “I know what Bear wants.”

“Eh…?” Once again, the angel followed Jay’s wandering gaze and settled upon a window display mannequin wearing a hot pink Juicy Couture tracksuit. “Oh, yes, I have heard him gushing about those velour tracksuits… but how are you of all people going to afford it??”

“I’ll just turn on the ol’ Jay charm.” Jay grinned and winked before waltzing into the store, leaving the angel half-stunned.

“Oh I can’t bare to watch,” he finally murmured, burying his face in his hands as he waited by the store’s entrance. A few minutes passed before he felt a tap on his arm and cautiously peeked through his fingers. Jay triumphantly held up a nondescript bag, presumably containing a tracksuit in Bear’s size. The Metatron blinked in surprise but made no expression beyond that as his hands fell away from his face. “Consider yourself blessed, Jay.”

He pinched the bridge of his nose as they wandered off to track down Bear and Silent Bob, eventually finding them making out near the bathrooms.

“Come on, you two,” The Metatron announced as they pulled apart. Silent Bob looked less than pleased at the interruption, but Bear shrugged at him with a smitten smile and hooked his arm with The Metatron’s.

“So, did you find what you were looking for?” Bear asked as the quartet made their way out of the mall and back into the treacherous winter of New Jersey.

“Yep! I think you’re really gonna like it!” Jay spoke proudly while The Metatron shot him a warning glance.

“Oh! It’s for me?”

“Totally--”

“Jay, why don’t you tell Bear about your little arcade adventure?” The Metatron spoke in a slightly raised tone, hoping if it didn’t remind him that he wanted the present to be a surprise, it would at least distract him from saying too much for the moment. Luckily, the angel’s plan worked, as Jay immediately began a tangent about him being a “stuffy old man” who needed to “loosen up,” and how he was surprised that Bear hadn’t achieved that already. Mentally, The Metatron gave a breath of relief. Jay ragging on him was much better than allowing him to undo all of the hard work they had just put in. When they returned to Bear’s apartment, Bear asked him to stay.

“I mean, you already made the trip, and it’s clear God can get along just fine without you for a few hours…” He enticed, wrapping his tiny, cold hands in The Metatron’s much larger and much warmer ones.

“Well… alright. But only because you’re asking so sweetly.” The angel hummed, kissing Bear on the forehead and making him smile.

Danganronpa Kirigiri - List of Detective Library members & their monster reps

In Danganronpa Kirigiri, the Triple Zero detectives of the Detective Library were based upon/referenced four types of monsters in fiction: ghost, werewolf, vampire and doppleganger. I always thought that was a pretty cool choice for Kitayama to go down and go to thinking what other types of monsters the other detectives would represent.

Which is basically what below is - a list of every named Detective Library member and monster would best fit them, in book order. As well as who represents the four monsters I mentioned above.

Main Duo:

Kyoko Kirigiri - Angel of Death (Now for Kyoko's monster I wanted something that best represents Kyoko's relation with Death and, ultimately her benevolent nature behind her stonefaced mask. So I chose her as the metaphorical Angel of Death - someone who brings about the end of those who have Fallen by uncovering the truth behind their misdeeds. Yet, in doing so, is also saving lives of those that were in danger because of the Fallen's actions. She also attends a religious school so it ties back well with those origins.

Yui Samidare - Powers (A type of angel in Christian theology and apart of the Middle Order of angels. Her whole thing is being a detective to protect others from evil and Powers are types of angels that hold the power to dispel or defeat evil. Also calls back to Yui being from a religious school. If I had to choose something else, I'd make Yui a guardian angel to match Kyoko being an angel of death. But, for reasons below, decided to forego it to complete another set )

DRK1:

Kou Inuzuka - Hellhound (Kou surname 'Inuzaka' contains the word for dog in Japanese, and Kou himself is an arsonist. Of the reps, I think this is one of the most fitting I've come up with)

Eigo Amino - Robot (Eigo is said to have zero presence or stands out, and he's a detective that poses as a businessman AKA a cog in a machine of office life. So I figured a robot was the best thing to compare him to)

Shiita Enbi - Zombie (Based upon the whole deal with him being dead all along, and also Tadashi's deal with having no legs, so kind of shambling about, reminds me of those types of zombies in horror games or shows)

Johnny Arp - Werewolf (From DRK Vol 6 - referred to heavily with wolfish traits or personality)

Gekka Ryuzoji - Vampire (From his design & titles; he's heavily based upon Count Dracula from the titular novel)

Rei Mikagami - Ghost (Comes from his epithet of 'Ghost in the Mirror' and his own ghostly ability to seemingly disappear from the scene with ease. Honorary mention goes to 'unicorn' given that's what his alias, Licorne, means in French).

DRK2:

Taehime Uozumi - Mermaid (Made her mermaid given her surname, Uozumi, is literally 'sleeping with the fishes'...and, okay, the pun with her fake profession was too tempting to pass up)

Suisei Nanamura - Father Time (Suisei is obsessed with time and managing it, so making him Father Time seemed pretty natural

Mikado Shinsen - Doppleganger (From his epithet, the Variationist, and skills as a master of disguise. Honorary mention goes to him being referred to as a Shinigami/Reaper by Chage and the connection he does have with the dead)

DRK 3

Hajiki Yaki - Devil (His DSC card is 666 which is considered a devilish number in Abrahamic religon, and his own thing is being a detective that goes against gambling - a type of deal with the devil?)

Salvador Yadorigi Fukuro - Gorgon (Okay, now, admittedly, this one is one of my weakest, but was inspired to call him a gorgon due to his own whole thing with his special eyes, and how he stunned Keisuke from DRK4 with the look of them. Stunning? Turning people to stone? A stretch? Kind of, but I still think it also kind of works so...)

Sachi Mizuiyama - Elf (Okay, beyond her getting an elf because she's short, was also inspried to give it to her based upon elves appearing young when they're actually older - something that's been pointed out about Sachi - and how elves/fairy-ish folk tend to have skewed moralities. Something that skewed me towards Sachi and her whole deal)

Korisu Kakitsubata - Succubus (Also one of my weakest, yet this one just feels so fitting. She dresses provocatively and acts seemingly benevolent, but that's hiding a malicious front to get away with claiming a soul. Plus, another case of her being related to fire and Succubi being from Hell - it just kind makes itself work out)

Suntetsu Shirasu - Underworld Gatekeeper (Chose this after a lot of internal debating, but decided this might be the most fitting? Like Gozu & Mezu or Cerberus, Suntetsu's actions decided who remains in the living and who has to remain in the afterlife. If there was a more fitting word for this type of monster, I'll gladly hear it out)

DRK4:

Tsukiyo Nada & Nazuna Toakitsu - Dominion & Virtue (Types of Angels in Christian theology and apart of the Middle Order set of angels with the Powers. Tsukiyo is Dominion given they govern celestial bodies & Tsukiyo's name refers to the night sky itself - ok that and her domineering personality. Naz is Virtue since one of its job is to bolster faith, and Naz is the most supportive of the duo in terms of helping out Yui to Salvador to Tsukiyo as well. Plus, they round out Yui being Power and also coming from a religious school)

DRK5:

Tatsutora Oboro - Bakaneko (Ok, the weakest one out of the lot, but also didn't really want to spend too much time on a minor guy like Oboro. As such, with part of his name, 'Tora', meaning tiger the idea that came to mind was a simple monster cat!)

DRK 6:

Motosuke Suzuyari - Yeti (He's in the icy mountains, described as being kind of wild looking. It writes itself)

Ayako Saiko - Witch (@drmedicsgamesurgery holds credit for the intiial placeholder as being a 'Mad Scientist'. However, mad scientists aren't technically monsters, I decided to swap it with the mad scientist of monster: a witch)

DRK 7:

Shiroko Yukimura - Yuki-onna (I got this based upon her part of her name 'Shiro' meaning white and the fact she appeared in a snowy setting)

Senshi Kadomi - Giant (Big guy with a knack for violence to get what he wants? Yeah, Senshi was pretty much hardlocked into being a giant from early on)

Kanji Yuhain - The 1st Horseman/Conquest/Pestilence/White Rider (I went with the 1st Horseman of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, after being inspired from Yuhain riding to Sirius on top of a white horse which symbolizes conquest or pestilence in the modern age. Both fit Yuhain as a guy who seeks to conquer the detective world as the King of Detectives and given his corrupt nature, he can very much be considered a pestilence.)

So assuming Gaster will play a role in Deltarune I don’t think he will be the villain or at the very least, not the main bad guy.Toby loves subverting our expectations, from the gameplay to the characters and I think Deltarune is no different. Gaster is heavily associated with the number 666, the mark of the beast which is the seal for the followers of the antichrist in Christianity. This would place him as an antagonist figure in most narratives. However, the entire premise of the game is that the fun gang is trying to stop the coming of the angel which would bring upon the roaring, which is a parallel to the second coming of Christ and the apocalypse. Normally, we associate angels are good and the devil with bad but the narrative flips this by making the angel the main antagonist. The logical conclusion would be that the character associated with the devil, Gaster, would be an ally or at the very least a misguided figure.This isn’t the first time Toby did this. In undertale, Asgore, the obstacle Frisk has to overcome to return to the over world is a literal goat monster with a pitchfork who rules the underground but we then learn he is just a broken guy who is misguided and full of guilt for what he has done and is not the ultimate evil we have to face. We might still have to fight Gaster, but he won’t be the ultimate bad guy

Why would anybody care about some rockstar’s religion? Therefore there’s Ville Valo. Used so many symbols and did so many references to it. That’s why I think it’s a topic to talk about- it might get interesting.

He wasn’t growing in a religious family, in a religious country, so to these days it’s not the topic of his life.

Ville has been always assuring us, that these are only symbols that he used more for fun and reference and because of his big fan of Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.

It's very hard for me to deduce in what realities Ville lives because he believes in Christian heaven and hell, but he doesn't bring himself to the most important holiday for Christians-ok, I said it too bluntly and to be honest after this statement you can expect not 100% sincerity.

Another thing that can’t be unsaid: Jesus and Ville. Ville quite often talk about him, really.

In my interpretation, he used the motif of Jesus here as a sacrifice up to death. This motif fits very well with his concept of music - death and love. Maybe that’s why he used to wear Jesus on t-shirts and belts, crusader? Probably yes, it’s not like he believes in it, he just like more his story.

For me it seems he is more like a person who believes in what he sees, sometimes he believes in Heaven, sometimes not, sometimes in God, sometimes not- for sure never in Satan since he has always used to be an opposite of it. What I could say as a…Christian- Ville mixes up in himself everything what he think is right- sometimes from Bible, sometimes,more often, from live experiences.

Ville just does what he thinks is moral and good, you can see it from the man he is now - it's probably the type of person who thinks that this is the most important thing in life and the settlement after death, if it exists at all, will decide.

Ville never grew up in family, with any beliefs like most Finns, so it's no wonder he doesn’t attach much importance to it like the rest of Europe, and treat it more as a culture.
